Rick and his team were amazing. We needed to redo our backyard on a half acre lot and they got it done in about 2 weeks. We had them install sod, sprinklers, gravel and clear away all the junk. Rick then came back before winter to blow out the sprinklers and showed us how to do it all if we wanted to do it on our own. We did need to make some small alterations to the project after the initial quote and Rick worked with us to keep things at the same cost. I would highly recommend Rick and team for any landscaping needs big or small.
Rick was great to work with. He paid attention to what we wanted & managed our expectations well. They did such a high quality job, very quickly, and he has followed up with us to make sure we know how to care for our new plants & sprinkler system. Highly recommend!
Rick and his team were awesome! We went rounds with another landscaper who kept promising he was showing up the following week but never actually did. I called Rick who had a break in his schedule and he was there the next week! They did a great job, the design was great, he didn’t go over what he quoted me, and he’s been out several times to help us adjust our sprinklers on his own time. We have appreciated him so much and will definitely use him on our new build!
We feel very fortunate to have been able to contract with Rick (Natural Design Landscapes) for our landscaping needs. Rick is very experienced, knowledgeable, and talented, and was extremely helpful with the overall landscape design, our particular irrigation needs, along with selecting the proper plant varieties needed for our property. I highly respected his opinions, judgement and creative input as we worked together through the project. And very importantly, Rick stayed on budget along with the time commitment we had initially agreed on. He and his helpers worked very hard, where always a real joy to work with, and the final results prove it. We get many sincere compliments from our friends and neighbors on the finished product. We continue to use Rick's services when needed, and he is always quick to respond to our requests. Rick and his company are a true asset to Cedar City and the surrounding area, and I highly recommend their many services.
Rick designed our landscaping and cleared old/tired landscaping. He then installed new plantings, irrigation system, and decorative rocks. He did this and offered creative solutions to minor issues all while being very respectful and considerate.
Natural Design did our landscaping for our backyard. Rick and his crew were awesome and actually was able to do our project earlier than scheduled. They were quick and professional in their work. I would recommend them to anyone needing a landscape company. We continue to call Rick when we need maintenance on our sprinklers and the pipes prepped for winter.

My neighbor hired natural design landscaping to landscape their yard. I walked out my yard and seen that they were also landscaping my property. Which I did not give them permission to do. I confronted the owner of natural design and told him that I did not want them landscaping my property. His response was that s too bad I m doing it not my problem . This is a very unprofessional way of conducting business. A professional Landscaper would survey the property lines and not encroach on the neighbor s property.
We highly recommend The Natural Design! They exceeded our expectations in transforming our front and backyard.

They probably have been the best landscape designer s, implantation and timely company that I ve dealt with. I have a house in Utah County. Wished they served that area too because I liked them so much would have had them do that property too. Definitely recommend.
Love this landscaper. Very professional, does what he says he will do and on time. He is very knowledgeable about natural vegetation, trees, shrubs and turf. Also clearly understands the weather system of Cedar City for what thrives here and what does not. Natural Design Landscape will always be my go to landscaping company.

We tried to get several places to give us a quote and show some reliability. Natural Design came when they said they would come, honored the bid they gave, and completed the work as agreed upon. I would totally recommend them! I d also recommend you call them at the beginning of the year if you re looking to have work done in the spring/summer. Their schedule fills up fast!

Loved working with Rick and Oliver! He was so patient with us as we picked out our stone and he, in his words, engineered the heck out of it so that our unusual choice for a retaining wall would be feasible as well as beautiful. We had him do just about everything in out yard walkways, fire pit, grading, sprinkler installation, grass, rock, drip lines, rock retaining wall, stone retaining wall, raised garden beds, etc. He can do it all! And I loved that when I was going over design, he made recommendations that made a whole lot of sense that I would never have thought of. Would highly recommend!

Rick did amazing work. He was thoughtful with the design and completed the project quickly. I am continually impressed with his work and would highly recommend him. UPDATE (four years later): since installation, I ve had a couple minor issues with the system and Rick has stood by his work, coming back to help fix and consult on the issues.
