Vins Total Care Landscaping worked on my gardens for the winter and removed several 30 year old, overgrown bushes, vines, and ornamental grasses. They did everything as we discussed and were easy to work with. My gardens look great- they left me with a clean slate to start gardening again.

Vin s was wonderful to work with from the folks in the office to our estimator/landscaper Chris to Vincent the owner. Importantly the 3 men who did the actual work were incredibly efficient, did a great job and really cared about what they were doing. We had the full backyard done including a retaining wall, all new plants, a cement pad removed, and sod. They also cleaned up and mulched all the beds around the house, some of which wasn t even in the original contract! They also repaired an old stone wall in the front which now looks great again. We had an excellent experience with Vins Total Care Landscaping. We were interested in a lot of work to reshape our backyard: large retaining wall, hardscaping, fire pit, pergola, bed installation. We received several estimates from competitors and Vins prices were comparable or cheaper (and his company was equally well or better reviewed). Additionally, Vincent was able to walk us through the vision and provide drawings showing the plan before we committed to going with the service. He listened closely to our wishes and made changes as requested. The work was on time and Vincent was very flexible with payment options and timelines. The crew was skilled and efficient. They were able to transform our yard from having a steep incline and drainage issues to a place where we spend most evenings on the patio around the fire pit. The parging was falling off my foundation and Vin s was the only company I could find to fix it. I m glad I found them though because they fixed my problem. You think they cut grass or some such. They do hardscaping and the like so don t be fooled by that!

Vin s transformed our backyard that had been ravaged by years of zero care by previous owners, pine trees, and dogs. They removed a play set, graded the land to eliminate standing water problems from rainfall, sodded, and created a stone path and seating areas for our fire pit. The price was great, and the salesman and workers were very friendly and left the property clean when they were done. I d hire them again for any landscaping project.

We were looking for a solution to the soggy ground on the side of our house and the back of our yard which is a natural path to a storm water runoff. After speaking with Andrew about our goals, he put together a plan that would meet our needs in both of our trouble areas. Andrew was easy to talk with and took the time to go over the project. He also researched alternative options that met our special needs. He stayed in touch with us regularly and returned our calls timely. Our project consisted of having a stone retaining wall constructed on the side of our house that is not only attractive BUT effective while also adding more usable space in our yard. We also had a swale created at the back of our yard to help manage the flow of the water and reduce additional erosion. In early spring Vin s did a beautiful job of weeding and mulching a slope in front of my house. At that time I asked for a quote on trimming a few bushes. I didn t get around to calling Vin s back about the bushes until late July. At that point their schedule was full and my job was a small one, so I did not schedule anything. The next day I received a call from Chris at Vin s. He said that he lived close to me and would stop by and do the trimming some day soon! I was pleasantly surprised and somewhat shocked by the call. This is what you call true customer service! Chris showed up and did a meticulous job of trimming. He charged me much less than he should have charged. I have perfectly trimmed bushes with all the debris being removed. Thank you to Chris for going above and beyond and to Vin s for caring about their customers! Do not hesitate to call them. Their work is done professionally, when promised, and at a reasonable price.

He told me when he came out the approximate timeframe for when the job would be done and they were on time for that timeframe. Anyone in the Old Ellicott City knows that managing stormwater on your property is no easy task. Our yard was sloped in such a way that water would run downhill and up against our house, causing damage to our wood siding and stone mortar. Vins graded a section of our lawn and installed drains connected to our gutter outflow. Vins was timely, from estimates to work completion, they were always extremely professional, and their work of high quality. Im writing this review long after the work because we needed time to see how everything performed and Im happy to report that its improved our drainage issues significantly! We will absolutely work with Vins on future landscaping projects and recommend them highly!

Perhaps the total care in Vins Total Care Landscaping encompasses the variety of services they offer, but to us, the total care also applies to customer satisfaction. The Vins crew did a fantastic job cleaning up our overgrown beds, and installing new borders, plants and mulch. The crew worked so quickly and no mess or debris was left behind! However, the azaleas that were planted werent the variety I thought I was getting. I emailed Chris and asked if it was possible to switch them out for something closer to the azaleas we already had in another garden bed. He contacted me immediately and said he would go to the nursery and see if there was anything similar. Sure enough, he found the azalea variety we wanted and even texted the nursery pictures of the azalea at various stages throughout the year to confirm the color! A few days later, the new azaleas were in the ground! Truth be told, I would have given Vins a five-star review even if Chris couldnt find the azaleas we wanted! What impressed me is Chris sensed I wasnt totally thrilled with the azaleas and wanted us to be 100% satisfied, not just 90% satisfied.

Vincent came out several times to look at the job, revise the plans when I can changed mind and couldn t have been more patient. When we bought our house in 2019, we knew there was a problem with flooding, but did not fully appreciate how bad it was. We quickly found out. Vins team came over, looked at the property and water flow and designed and installed a series of french drains, sumps and tie-ins to a drainage system that routed the water away from our house, our neighbors houses, and safely to the street. We subsequently had Vins team help with a renovation to our kitchen that involved relocating a door in a stone wall and converting what was an external stone wall into a half wall. His stone mason did an outstanding job- unless you look carefully, you cannot tell where the stone filled in the location of the former door. Theyre not the cheapest in the area, but they do a quality job and are easy to work with.

I dont often see a team like this having fun, collaborating and all working hard to complete a customers project. Part of our property was un-excavated when our home was built. The area was a long, steep hill that grew wild weeds/brush in the summer and looked dead/unsightly in the winter. We knew exactly what we wanted in terms of design and plant species on the hill. Admittedly, we consulted with three other landscapers before calling Vins (shame on us since their signs are all over Catonsville), none of whom had a clue or the creative vision on how to address the hill. During our consultation Vin knew exactly what we wanted, got us our quote in a timely manner and the crew had the entire job done in just under 3 days. Before & after photos are included!

Chris and his co worker from Vins Total Care did an excellent job trimming my 25 foot tall Crepe Myrtle. I asked to have about 8 feet removed from the top and Chris shaped the tree and got in down to a more manageable height. Will be using them for other landscaping chores I need done this spring/summer.

2nd time using Vins Total Care Landscaping. They installed a retainer wall and installed 5 tons of river Rock. Vincent made sure we were happy both times after the work was completed. Our front and backyard now look great but are also easier to maintain and more functional.

Our property needed a restoration after a water main break in January that washed away mulch as property was under water for 5 hours. The first day the crew weeded, trimmed bushes and roses and the second day they installed new mulch, stones and new sod. The stones installation is a great addition here. This is a lovely property and the crew restored it to its potential and original beauty. They were respectful, hard-working and genuinely cared about and were proud of their work. They spent 2 full days here and we are grateful to have our property restored and in some ways even better! We recently purchased a house and had to have some grading work done to the landscaping. Vins Total Care was the most affordable of all the quotes we received. They showed up on time and completed the work in the expected time frame. About a week after, we experienced significant rainfall that eroded some of the dirt since the grass hadnt had time to fill in. Vincents team came back out immediately and fixed the problem. We will definitely be back for other landscaping needs!

10/10 for Vins Total Care Landscaping. I hired the team to come out and overhaul the area around my front porch - the previous owner had just dumped white stones and let 70 yr old shrubs become overgrown. They tore everything out and replaced it with exactly what I asked for! Great team, friendly, professional, and very responsive. Will 100% use them when it comes time to overhaul my back yard next year!

Had them remove and replace a set of steps. They did a great job with the new steps and everything was cleaned up nicely before they left. The divots in the yard from the machine were even filled in and covered with seed and straw. I would highly recommend!

Vins is 1st class with leaf removal. The crew was professional, executed efficiently and got the job done while it was snowing. We were expecting a a substantial snow fall, and Vins got it knocked out just in time. I would take pictures of their quality work, but all there is to see is a snow covered lawn. I will definitely use them in the future for leaf removal, and other landscaping needs.

Wow! Excellent work they arrived on time even spent one day working in the rain and cold temperatures in the 50s. The grounds and shrubs look beautiful. They mulched all 10 flower beds and took extra effort to outline the beds in some loose stones from a pile I had. Cleanup was just as promised, and they were all courteous. I would not hesitate to ask them to do work again and will recommend them to my neighbors as well as friends and family.

Vin s Total Care Landscaping are miracle workers! They transformed what was the ugliest backyard in our neighborhood to one of the most beautiful. I am thrilled with the work they did and am very happy to recommend them. My backyard consisted mostly of dirt patches, weeds, dead tree roots, and tree stumps. Some bushes in my front yard were over grown to the point that I could not trim them myself. Net is, my yard was an eyesore. My neighbors did not complain, but I knew it was a problem. In just one day, Vincent and his team were able to totally transform it, smoothing out / putting new soil where needed, putting new sod down over most of the yard, and trimming various bushes. I can t believe it s my yard, seriously. It has never looked as good as it does now, and I have lived here for 20+ years. A very professional and polite crew, and Vincent did a very thorough and professional job evaluating the job, sending a proposal via e-mail, and answering my questions. Thank you to Vincent and his team!

We have used Vins Total Landscaping twice. Once to install a garden in a shady, sloping part of our property and just this week to install mulch and remove some shrubs. Vincent is very professional and prompt in responding to any requests. His crews are just nice guys who do the work that was promised and clean up afterwards. We feel very confident that we will be working with them again since they are reliable and listen to their customers. It is hard to find good quality contractors and we are glad to have found Vins.

ABSOLUTELY CANNOT RECOMMEND VIN S LANDSCAPING! We paid more and got less. Vin s Total Care Landscaping demonstrated a complete lack of commitment to customer service. He provided sub-par, shoddy service from the start. He refused to fix a poorly executed job. His quote was not the lowest we received. In the end, we were frustrated, extremely disappointed, and we redid the work ourselves, investing both time and additional funds to make our yard look presentable. Not great, just not embarrassing. We paid nearly $4000 to get no/very low maintenance landscaping that we expected to last at minimum until fall. What we got lasted a couple weeks, at best, and cost us additional time and money to correct ourselves. We consulted with other professional landscapers to check that our expectations are not unreasonable. They confirmed that a correctly performed job should last a season with minimal weed break through. (Its been almost a year now. 8 of 10 new shrubs planted by Vin are dead. The shrub he trimmed also looks diseased. I suspect he either used contaminated tools, used old or otherwise compromised mulch on our job, and/or sold us diseased plants.) EDIT: The records would be under my husbands name, not mine. My husband spoke to Vin multiple times to no satisfaction. The only resolution offered was for us to spend more money to fix the job. Very poor customer service.

We have used Vins Total Care Landscaping for tree and scrub replacement, Spring cleaning and mulching, as well as ongoing mowing. We have been extremely pleased with the service provided. When replanting the trees along our property line, the team placed them perfectly and staked them to provide stability. All beds were cleaned out and mulched. The hedges in our front were trimmed down as well as the magnolia tree that had been reaching out into the street. When contacting the work, Vin came to our property personally, walked through everything and then took pictures to ensure all work met our requirements. We will be using Vins again for our landscaping needs.

We bought a house in Catonsville right before we had to leave for a vacation, and had no time to buy a lawn mower before we left. Vins was the only company that would mow our lawn last minute and help ensure we didnt offend our new neighbors with an overgrown lawn! They also charged less than anyone else we called. Very happy we managed to find them.

We started using Vins this year, 2018, and couldnt be happier. The guys who come to cut the grass are pleasant, courteous and respectful of my property. There was a very minor situation where a small piece of a garden bed border was damaged and Vincent was over here right away to talk to me about making it right. It was so minor on something 20 years old, we honestly didnt feel the need for him to do anything, but sure did appreciate the way he stepped up. Also, after the devastating rains of Memorial Day weekend, we had some damage on a hill in our yard. It was threatening our home or anything else, but it still needed to be dealt with. We didnt even know what to ask Vincent to do. But he came over, looked at it, came up with a plan that was executed for what we felt was a fair price. His price for weekly yard service is fair as well. Overall, we are very happy so far and plan to continue using Vins for both weekly service and any other needs that come up.

Hi, I have been using Vins Total Care for a few years now. They have been coming out and doing all of my spring mulching and edging which they have always done beautiful work. This year I realized that my back yard, between my wonderful dogs and the massive rain we have had that any small patchwork I could do on my back yard would never work. The yard was an absolute mess, the ground in some places was worn down to stone from the erosion. I had Vincent come out and quote and at first I thought it was a little high but then realized with the amount of work that needed to be accomplished they were right on point , maybe even under priced. They came out yesterday and completed the whole job in one day. No mess anywhere, and the result is stunning. I wish I would have taken before and after pictures but I was remiss. I never thought my yard would ever look that beautiful again. My mouth hung open and the transformation is so beautiful that I almost started to cry. I would recommend this company to anyone. For a middle aged woman who finally realizes , I cant do it all, they are a God sent. Vincent is so professional and his whole crew are genuine nice people.
