My husband and I have been do impressed my JA Landscaping. Jose the owner is extremely professional and friendly. Showed up on time to provide us a quote and provided the quote in writing about 2 days later. The crew was nice and respectful of our property. They cleaned up our property when they were done. My parking pad looks amazing. Hands down recommend this business. Give them a try, you ll be glad you did.

Joel and his team did a fantastic work of my patio. In my case it really worked out well. After 3 days work started we realized that the product shipment has been delayed so Joel made good suggestions to continue the work and complete it on time. I would definitely recommend.

Joel and his crew have been amazing! They show up when they say they will, clean up, and do great work. Stephanie is usually the person answering the phone, and she is wonderful. This is the second time weve used them, and will hire them again for a fence/landscaping in a couple months.

Joel and his staff are fantastic! If you need a landscaping company then you have to go with JA & Sons. Our project was very difficult and we had water issues and our retaining wall had fallen in multiple areas and was over 35 years old. Joel came out and looked at everything and gave us a great price and really listened to what we wanted done. Anytime, I had a question Stephanie in the office and Joel would pick up the phone and provide guidance and the answers I needed. In addition, Alex and his team were amazing! Alex was our foreman and he built our 160ft retaining wall and river rock swale in a week and a half! He was so kind and the men worked hard making sure we were happy and guiding us through the steps of the progress. After I saw what he built I cried because we had such issues prior and it turned out beautiful! Lastly, Manuel and the landscaping team were such a big help. He helped me with plant selections and placements ideas. He was here early and would work late! Overall, I would give 20 stars if I could! I am not just saying that either I am a very picky individual and extremely detailed and JA & Sons exceeded our expectations and we can t wait to show it off to our family and friend!

I had JA&SONS perform a large scale backyard project. Their construction team was amazing and always very professional. The total project turned out beautiful.

JA and Sons was extremely responsive from day 1. Joel was quick to come out and give an honest bid. He is upfront and honest about what is a good idea or what is too expensive. He is more concerned with a happy customer and a quality workmanship than making an extra buck.

UPDATE based on owner response. I ended up going through the yard and manually digging up a lot of the plants myself. It took some time but it has made a huge difference. I understand that the plants have deep roots and are difficult to remove, which is why I decided to hire a landscape company. I specifically asked for them to be dug up, I even asked for it to be added to the contract. I was told by the owner that there was no need, he would make sure it was taken care of. If digging up the plants was something that the company was not willing to do, I would have liked to know that so I could explore other options. The spray helped with the other weeds but not so much the star of Bethlehem. I also did not receive an email (just checked again, maybe it went to spam but I didnt see it there either), only a call immediately after I made the review. Im sure people have great experiences with this company but unfortunately that was not my situation. Im not looking for anything but I do think there needs to be accountability. -------------------------- Very friendly staff and reasonable price. Had them clear brush from our mulch beds, edge the beds and lay new mulch. My biggest issue is that we have a specific weed, Star of Bethlehem, that we needed to be dug up in multiple areas. Really hard to get rid of that weed without pulling out the bulb. Made it clear that digging out that weed is our primary focus. Saw a lot of the plants immediately popping up and when I moved some mulch aside in several areas, it looked like mulch was just laid over a lot of it (full plant, just on its side). I dealt with this weed last year, if you pull them and dont get the bulb, they come back but it takes a little time. If you just cover them with mulch, they almost immediately pop back up. Didnt expect them to be cleared 100% but we were hoping for the job to be a little more thorough, specifically in the backyard. Called to discuss but no resolution. Was told to try spraying them myself.

In my experience Joel and Sons seems to have problems keeping appointments and standing behind his work. If you have a lot of work to contract, perhaps others would be better

I truly could not be happier with Joel and his team. They dug up my uneven concrete patio, which was creating all sorts of issues with standing water every time it rained, and they installed a new, expanded patio with more absorbent stone that Joel recommended. It looks incredible, and -- most importantly -- there is no more standing water creeping up to my house! His team was professional, quick-moving, and courteous -- a sentiment shared by my neighbors who interacted with them as well. I highly recommend.

The crew who did the work were very professional, great work ethics and followed up on the details to complete the job with perfection. I would hire them again and also tell other people to definitely call them for their specific job.

We moved into our new house a few months ago and the backyard was in desperate need of some re-grading due to drainage issues. Joel was quick to come out and provide an estimate which was very reasonable and the crew that did the work was awesome! They were very professional and do quality work. Our backyard looks 100x better!

Joel and his team have been a pleasure to work with; they have been very responsive and professional. Even when we decided mid-project to do some additional carpentry work, Joel arranged for his brother to come out right away and talk through the issue. Within a day I had multiple options on a proposal and they got right to work ordering and completing the project. JA & Sons Landscaping is the most professional, responsive, timely landscaping business that weve used! We were having such a hard time finding a landscaping company that would help us with leaf removal among other issues to help clean up the plants and shrubs for our newly purchased home. JA & Sons to the rescue! They were great! Very easy to work with! They did such amazing work, we intend for JA & Sons to be the only landscaper that we use!

Joel Agulara, the owner of the company, is prompt to respond both with an estimate and in starting a project. His staff is courteous and he is very fair with his pricing. He gets back to you right away with any questions or concerns you might have during the process. We have used his company for 2 different projects because we have been so happy with the outcome of both our patio and our cement walkway and flagstone porch. His team does great work and finishes the job within a reasonable time. I would highly recommend JA & Sons.

JA & Sons did an excellent job removing part of our existing driveway, installing a picket fence, installing a stone border along the remaining driveway and laying sod where the driveway was removed. Joel, the owner of the company, and his assistant Stefanie communicated with us in a timely manner and kept us up to date as they waited for supplies to come in. The staff that came to our home to work were professional, hardworking and left our property in excellent condition at the end of each work day. I called and spoke with Joel. He came out and gave me an estimate for my from yard that was filled with weeds and bushes that were dead and a ugly and broken sidewalk. I also needed to add concrete for a wheelchair. The workers came in and treated my yard as if I live in a mansion. They were so personable and professional it was unreal. They wanted to make sure everything was to my liking. Now my neighbors are envious. My front yard is fabulous. J A & Sons Landscaping recently did work in our backyard, clearing out a thick shrub area and old metal fence. After clearing the length of our backyard they put up a 6 foot wooden privacy fence. From my initial email contact and estimate that Joel provided through the work his crew completed I have nothing but good things to report. Joel was professional and friendly and the men who completed the job did great work. They worked fast and efficiently and our backyard looks great.

They did an excellent job. A slow start with getting an estimate but once I got the estimate, they responded very quickly with modifications I wanted done on the estimate. They came out very soon after I signed off on the estimate and got the part of the job I wanted done first, and then followed up with the rest of the work in a very reasonable amount of time. They were very polite and courteous and cleaned up everything when they were done.

Joel & his team turned our jungle of a backyard into usable space in less than a week. After some land clearing and grading, JA & Sons installed a paver patio, 6 foot fence around the perimeter of our property and put down grass seed. My husband and I reached out to about 10 different companies and JA & Sons were the most responsive, affordable and all-encompassing company. We received our quote right away and the team started working just a few days later. They were on time each and everyday and now we have the best looking yard in our neighborhood. Thanks Joel!

Very Polite customer service. However when you call to get an estimate for the second time in coming out to my home and still have not received the estimate. I am beginning to wonder if the company knows their skill level and not willing to tell me they cant do the job.

I have had several jobs done by this company. They always send hard working crews and the work is done professionally. The owner and employees are very pleasant and I am about to hire them to replace skylights and a ceiling fan. They have also provided my lawn service for several years.
