Excellent service. Dana came over the same day I called. He checks out the condition of the lawn, determines whether to use more or less weight on his machine to aerate, and then takes the time necessary to properly handle the yard. Very highly recommend.

Turning down work because you're busy, is understandable, but at least do it with dignity and be kind about it. Maybe say "thank you" and not be so short with people. Just a little note.

A friend recommended Castle Rock Lawn Care for my lawn aeration. I have a super bad habit of trying to book things during the busiest time of the season at the last minute. Dana Wassum was MORE than accommodating. He returned my message in a timely manner, contacted me an additional 2-3 times if not more to work things out. He even called me back to reschedule an earlier appointment. When I got home, the work had already been done much to my satisfaction. I will certainly be using him in the future. Thank you Dana.

I would have kept quiet, but this has put me over the edge. We had Castle Rock Lawn Care (Dana Wassum) cutting our grass for several years before he left. He did a great job, but had a terrible attitude. Constantly bitter and telling how difficult cutting our lawn was. When we told him we would put a tree, his reply was that would make his job difficult. During his last season he told my wife how he hated mowing our lawn. We were going to switch anyway, but glad when he told us he could not mow for us anymore. I had very little complaint about his service, its just that his attitude stunk. I would have kept quiet, but my wife complained about his attitude on the nextdoor app in response to a query and he immediately comes knocking on our door with my wife home alone and starts badgering her. He abused her and made her cry. My wife is very sensitive emotionally and she sounds like a wreck now. If you disagreed with what she said you have the right to rebut on the forum, or emailed/called me privately and politely, not come invade our privacy. Please stay from this guy's service as he is a bitter, sick man. Dana, if you want to deal with this, come talk to me. If I ever see you knocking on our doors, it will be a invasion of our privacy and I will not hesitate to file a complaint with the cops! You should be ashamed of yourself. BTW, I did file a complaint with the Castle Rock Police and the officer who came out agreed that he should not have confronted my wife in response to a social media post which told the truth. Hopefully, he will learn from this never to do it again. I would not touch him with a ten foot pole. Mowing is not a critical skill and although he mows very good, there are equally good mowers out there minus the attitude and bullying. Knocked off 4 stars for his attitude and coming to our house uninvited bullying my wife.

Fantastic Service! Thank goodness business owners like Dana still exist! After a lack of response and poor communication from two other lawn care companies, I found Castle Rock Lawn Care! Dana (the owner) answered the phone immediately! He was very friendly and professional, made great recommendations for Sprinkler startup and he and two employees showed up at our home within the hour to mow and edge our yard. They did a fantastic job mowing/edging our front yard and backyard and did an amazing job of cleaning up any grass clippings from the driveway and sidewalk! Dana is a small business owner located in Castle Rock and it NOT to be confused with Castle Rock Lawn Mowing - ErbertLawns. Erbert Lawns Inc. is a much bigger company hiding behind the name Castle Rock Lawn/Lawn Care. If you enjoy working with the owner of a company, appreciate excellent service and believe in supporting small local business, then Dana, owner of Castle Rock Lawn Care is your guy!
