They did an awesome, job on our backyard. We are so in love. Quick responses, good communication, workers moved quickly but the work is high quality. I m so impressed and definitely recommend. The one small issue I had was addressed and remedied right away.

YMS just completed the work on my backyard which included a new larger patio and reworking the entire landscape and I am delighted at the result and at the fair and competitive price. Scott was super responsive to my many calls and questions and most times answered calls immediately. When they went to voice mail I usually got a return call in 30 minutes or so. Both the patio crew and the landscape crew worked quickly and effectively and the on site foreman Pablo was very on top of the job and was very good a providing suggestions and addressing changes in plans I made along the way.The bottom line is; if you want the job done well, in the amount of time promised, with responsive management/crew and at a fair price. YMS should be your first call. Very happy!

We selected YMS after we read their positive online reviews, and learned about the owner s, Scott Flodeen, extensive experience with creating a ColoradoScape landscape that is attractive and fully compliant with Castle Rock s and multiple other jurisdiction requirements for wise use of water. Scott performed status and completion walks with his field foreman, Pablo, for 2 of my properties that were installed during summer 2023. They followed through with the replacement of a minimum number of replacement plants at each project in a prompt manner during June 2024. Scotts other strengths are: * Ctreation of ColoradoScape dried river bed feature that is attractive and can be functional. * Great access to nursery products and attractive artificial turf. * Appropriate selection and placement of tons of road base and non-river rock cobblestone to create complementary hardscape. * Coverage of planted areas with mulch and mulch covered berms to create an attractive sloped presentation that flows with the terrain. * Fair and reasonable pricing with terms of payment that benefit the homeowner.

Very good experience with YMS. Not only was Scott extremely responsive before, during and after bidding/installation, but is also extremely knowledge about local regulations, which is huge. The work was done very promptly accommodating our time table and local rules that affected installation. The team was also great during installation- really enjoyed getting to know Pablo a bit and he too was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.

Professional start to finish, excelent quality on a difficult design with a 30% slope and no equipment access to location. We could not be happier and are recommending to all our neighbors. YMS began quickly and worked until complete. When they left each day the yard was clean, fence replaced an materials and equipment organized. Communication was great with YMS and crews. Carpentry and pavers I requested were done quickly and workmanship was high quality. Everyone was great to work with , both the employees and Scott who is the owner.

Scott and his crew removed our front lawn. He installed a dry creek bed, large rocks, mulch, and the drip system. They completed the job in two days. His staff is hard working and efficient. We cannot recommend Scott and his team at YMS enough. We moved out to Castle Rock last spring and found YMS through great Google reviews. He worked with my husband and I to get landscaping in our backyard only two weeks after we moved in. He came prior to our install and provided suggestions and helped us stay near our budget. His team was always timely and provided great quality work. This spring when turning on our sprinklers, we noticed one sprinkler head was broken. As our sprinklers werent blown out properly by us, we were very fortunate that only one head broke. Scott swung by our house and helped us fix the sprinkler. We cannot recommend him enough for not only his teams great quality work but for his really great customer service! Thanks Scott!!

A year ago YMS installed upgrades to our backyard. We recently developed problems that were connected to the upgrade. Scott quickly took ownership of the problem and resolved it in a very timely fashion . The attention to detail and quick response are worth everything that we paid for the upgrade. Scott was very responsive from the time I called him. He bid a fairly sizable job to replace my driveway which was an old custom flagstone job. He gave me several different options as well as price points so I could decide. We elected to go with stamped concrete to somewhat match the style we had with the flagstone. He then also bid out a ton of other work to strip, stain and seal all the stamped concrete we had out back both on the patio and around a pool. He gave me the option to demo the driveway to save a bit which I appreciated. Then Leo and the team took over and worked for 5 or so days on the job. Upon completion, Scott worked with me to ensure we were happy with the job before sending the invoice. The work came out great overall. The driveway came out awesome and the concrete out back looks as good as it could given its age. Ill certainly work with YMS again.

Scott and his team were great. He came by and gave us the honest truth about why some things wouldn t work in our yard while other contractors would say Hey, if you pay me I ll do whatever you want. Scott gave us some great ideas and didn t lead us down a path we didn t want nor try to up sale us on anything. When it came time to start the project, his crew showed up when they said they would and were professional and efficient. They were able to complete the project in the time they initially stated. We are so satisfied with YMS that we will use them for all our future projects.

I cant say enough positive things about Scott and his crew. Scott is extremely personable, but even more knowledgeable. We had YMS finish our backyard (sod, sprinkler, rock, plants, trees, patio) and Scott was great about explaining why he recommends certain things, what grows and what doesnt, and helps walk you through the entire process. Scott and his crew did an excellent job creating a flagstone walkway and remodeling flagstone steps. He is honest, communicates well and follows thru with his commitments. I recommend him highly and would use him again.

Scott and his crew did a quality job on a very large project in our yard. It included a large area of flagstone, stone walls, columns, fire pit, a waterfall and replacement of sod and sprinkler system. They have also been responsive in coming back to fix any lingering issues. Their prices were reasonable, they worked hard, stayed on the project until it was done and nice people to work with.
