Nelson Lawn & Landscape LLC in Castle Rock

Terrible company. Awful responsiveness. Labor force is incredibly inexperienced. They damaged significant areas of lawn with a bobcat leaving ruts and divots. We had to micromanage the entire installation and even then there were still major mistakes. The experience and final product were incredibly disappointing. I really regret using this company.

I am using them for snow removal. Very pleased with their work.

Tim from Nelson came out to see what we wanted and I was impress. He promised a written bid for work. Never sent. He also agreed to return to meet with my wife who had been in the hospital when he first came. Despite many attempts to reach them, he did not appear when the appointment was made by Nelson nor did Nelson respond other than to question the need for the second visit. They agreed to send Tim out but never responded to inquiries as to when. So no bid. No follow through. No care about a new customer. I was very disappointed given their supposed high reputation. I really wanted them to do work for us but they apparently could not care less.

Came over 6/21/22 (Thursday) to do a estimate. Promised to have it to us by the following day. Did not get the estimate and called again. Promised the estimate on Monday. Did not get it. Called numerous times to get estimate. They have totally ignored us, NO ESTIMATE and NO RETURN PHONE CALL. Totally unreliable.

After speaking to Monica, I was immediately convinced that Nelson was who I needed to hire! My son had been hospitalized for five months and he and his wife were in need of some assistance with snow removal. The company came within a reasonable time to remove the snow from their driveway every time it snowed ! Living in California, I was not sure who to hire in Colorado, but I am definitely glad I hired Nelson! You would not be sorry if you chose to use this company for your own needs.

We have used Sam and his team for roughly 6 years. They are always on time, courteous and truly love what they do. No project is too big or too small. Their billing system is so easy. I love working with them on all my landscape whims. We’ve tried other landscapers but Nelson Lawnscapes is hands down the best.

We hired these guys to do our landscaping; the project was over 15k in value. The work that this team accomplished was excellent and always well done; unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the quality of communication and overall timeline of project completion. The project was supposed to be completed within eight weeks, and it took them a total of 12 weeks (all summer after they started two weeks late, so I was waiting around on them for 14 weeks), and that is after me nagging and complaining and calling. I think overall, the quality of work that was completed was excellent but the stress and anxiety this team has caused me in the long run really killed the entire experience.

This company jumped through hoops to take care of a problem created by another landscaper and found a way to service my system in a short lead time. Tim was unbelievable, caring, and exhibited the highest level of customer service I’ve ever experienced from a company. This will be my sprinkler company for life! This is a must use company!!!!!!!
