I rarely post reviews, and only do so when we ve had a good experience. Ben said that reviews are the primary way he grows his business, and I left a five star review the day after he and his crew performed the work. However our experiences since that date led me to remove that original review, and now, seven weeks later, I m updating my review. We have a small yard, and to us, our job seemed quite simple, mostly labor. Our agreement with him provided he would move smaller rocks to another part of the yard; install new gray rock where needed; remove metal edging; remove a few plants; transplant a few others; and install a few new ones. The agreement also provided that he would determine which plants currently have drip irrigation, and for any new plantings, ensure that all have a drip line. We also wanted to make sure that drips were plugged for four plants removed and not replaced. The day after the initial installation, we noticed three leaks/sprays in the lines. We contacted Ben, and he and his crew came out the next day and fixed the leaks. Interestingly, Ben s foreman told him he tested the lines after the initial work had been done, but we know he didn t. So we thought all would be ok, problems fixed. In late June however, we noticed that two knock out rose bushes were dying and we also noticed that four drip lines that should have been capped off continued to irrigate nothing. We contacted Ben again, and he and his crew returned for the second time. He told us the roses were likely in shock, and they fixed the other issues. The roses have a one year warranty, and he told us to contact him if they died and lost all their leaves. Last week, we decided to pull up the dead rose bushes and replace them at our own expense. After we pulled up the roses, we discovered that neither plant had a drip line. No wonder they died. We simply don t understand how two rose bushes could have been planted, and Levi or Ben NOT notice that both lacked a drip line. Also, two (of the four) drips that were supposedly capped off on their second return visit were leaking/spraying. Yesterday, I emailed Ben and explained all of this, as well as our continuing disappointment. He replied and provided several excuses and explanations, and offered to return to fix these issues. We discarded the plants, and so he could not provide them to his supplier for a warranty replacement. Since there was no irrigation there, we simply spread three bags of mulch. We will pay someone else to take care of the irrigation leaks that he should have fixed, and so we declined his request to return for the third time. Based on our experience, we could not recommend Ben s company to anyone.

After an awful experience with another landscaping company that left my property in shambled, Colorados Greenest Thumb was able to help get things back in order. They re-did all my edging, started consistently mowing my lawn, re-buried all my drip lines and made sure they were set up correctly, angled all my sprinklers to hit the lawn/plants properly, planted two flower beds in my backyard, and helped do general clean up/weeding. They came immediately when I called to at least get things looking presentable, and then knocked out the various projects over time as they came back week over week. Super easy to talk to, schedule, and work with. Also just seem genuinely nice. My property is well on its way to being beautiful again, and cant wait to see over the next few seasons of growth how it looks :)

Great landscapers! They came out and installed a very long trench and french drain for us to help with water making it into a window well during rainstorms. Reasonably priced, professional, on time, tidy, and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend.

After having such a nightmare trying to landscape ourselves, Colorados Greenest Thumb certainly saved the day. Our backyard now looks like it belongs on an episode of HGTV! Couldnt be more satisfied with the incredible craftsmanship these guys exude! Truly grateful!

Ben did a fantastic job with our sprinkler blowout. Reasonable price and it was a smooth experience. He was also very helpful over the phone when I ran into problems turning the sprinklers back on in the spring. Would recommend!

Ben and his team just did an excellent job on our side yard. We had flooding in our basement and my husband had to dig up rock, dirt and a paver sidewalk to put in new pipes. We needed someone to put it back together. Ben, in one day, removed the mixture of harden dirt and rock, put down weed blocker, and put down a very nice river rock. They put the pavers back in place and added additional piping to help in the drainage. The results are more than we expected for a very reasonable price. We definitely recommend Ben and his team for their work, professionalism and they are extremely nice.

Colorado s greenest thumb came out fast and gave a great quote. They layed sod in two areas in my yard, and Levi made sure to triple check his work and my opinion on the finished product.

Colorado s Greenest Thumb was amazing! They were professional, mindful of my budget, quickly got back to me when I had questions or to update me on the project s progress, and did excellent work. Based off of my preliminary interactions with them and the reviews online, I expected them to be professional, but I was also impressed with the way they set my kids and dog at ease. At one point, they complimented my son while he practiced basketball, and it meant a lot to him. It can be disruptive when you have landscapers, but CGT went above and beyond to make sure our project turned out beautifully while making the process good as well.

Was looking for a local landscaper and was close to calling this company UNTIL I talked to several locals that were scammed out of cash from him. Apparently he does part of the job and then uses the old I need the rest of the money so I can fix mi equipment so I can finish the job excuse, and never comes back after receiving more money. Buyer beware of a true scammer, I believe the owners name is Ben and I do not write reviews negative or positive as a competitor for any company.

Never returned phone calls or texts after initial visit. Didnt replace trees that died that were allegedly insured. Out over $500 because of this person. . Response to the owner. By initial visit I mean when you put trees in. You stated to my partner that the trees were insured. I wrote this review and not my partner so no my name is probably not in your system but do you remember the peanut butter cookies I gave you? You also have never returned our phone calls or texts. So....maybe we could have a professional, adult conversation with the contact info you still have.

Highly recommend these guys. Our backyard was full of dead bushes and aspens and had two flower beds over run by grass and weeds. It was stressful and embarrassing hanging out back there. We have two young kids with busy schedules so it s hard to find the time to do what was needed. Ben and his team listened to our needs, exceeded our expectations, finished on time and did it all in a way that met our budget. Now our backyard will be a place we can relax and hangout with our kids instead of always tending to yard work.

These guys are amazing!! They were able to take care of many things including removal of two giant dead trees from my property. I needed this work done fairly quickly and they were able to work with my schedule. Not only were they super efficient and professional, the price was very reasonable. It s nice to support a local independently owned business and I will continue to use them for my landscaping and yard maintenance. If I had more than two thumbs, I d put them all up for Colorado s Greenest Thumb!!

What can be said about them. They were able to fix my fence in half the time that all the other company were quoting me at. The team at Colorados Greenest Thumb are professional and hard working I cant think of any company better suited to do my landscaping from now on.
