Justin M with branch 5133 did a great job servicing my lawn. He did a thorough job aerating my lawn. He arrived on time and competed the service in a timely manner paying attention to detail. Update: promises made by Tru-Green were not followed through on. After buying a year s worth of service there was no noticeable difference in my lawn. Video footage showed the techs spending less than five minutes on most occasions and applying very little product. All tru-green wants to do is upscale you for other services that you don t need. Don t waste your money.

I have had this service over a year for lawn and shrubs. Although they cannot do miracles I recommend them over others. Many positives with mostly excellent service but lately a few issues have arisen. They have a nice app with tracking and the ability to order services ahead of time and some flexibility of days of treatment (but not times). They leave a report with insightful suggestions for lawn and shrubs and what treatments were done. I just had a few visits that techs this week were confused on orders but if they do the regular schedule they are fine. Trugreen retreats, does lime soil tests etc but that is where the service level is challenged a bit so I lowered my review to 4 stars.

Justin M and I talked after the application. He helped me with my fungus needs by hooking me up with that application. TruGreen techs are regular people like you and me. I love chatting with them when they visit.

He initially went to the wrong house. When he finally found mine, all was well.

My yard is getting better. We got the weeds gone, now we have to thicken the grass. Weve made a lot of progress with Tru Green.

Bought a house with an extremely nice front lawn and I wanted to do everything in my power to keep it that way. However, my back yard needed a lot of work. So I decided I would hire this company for a year. Needless to say, my front lawn was destroyed and someone they managed to worsen my back lawn. It s as if they intentionally destroyed the lawn so I would continue service. My yard has been growing any and everything that wasn t there before I began using them. However, since I was paid up for the year. I waited for my services to end. And for months after my services had ended they still tried to charge me even with no one coming out to my house. I called them prior to my services ending to make sure they cancelled the plan on time so there was no confusion. Not too long after continuously receiving bills for services I was not getting and calling their offices over and over and them telling me I was good and didn t need to pay anything they then sent the amount to debt collectors. I will never suggest this company to anyone. IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF YARD WORK CHOOSE SOMEONE OR DIY!!! I can promise you ll spend less money and know how to treat your yard best. If you re in Wilmington NC, go to SiteOne Landscape Supply before starting, they are very knowledgeable.

We decided to give TruGreen a try....this company literally stole over 100$ from me. Here is where it starts: we hired them to take care of our lawn as I wanted to try lawnservice companys by me. Our grass turned bright yellow in areas after one of theor treatments. My sod is almost 3 years old and when another company came in, we did not have these issues. Some spots where 3x6 and some as little as 1x2. We had about 8 of these spots right after their service. They said they would send a tech out for over 2 weeks. No one showed so I called again. They said they were sorry for the mishap and would send a tech out for free for my next service. Well, they charged me $167.00 and refused to give me my money back. They did offer to send a tech out for our next service free of charge. I canceled on the spot. No apology, no trying to reimburse me. I will be contacting NC Attorney General over this because after reading these reviews, TruGreen is just another company plauging our small area with bad services and stealing from us.

Demeir visited today and patiently resprayed for broadleaf weeds & annual grasses. Hopefully, this will stop some more of the weeds from making themselves at home. I spoke with Mr. Robinson about the lawn service. He does weed control and applied chemicals today. He was knowledgeable, cordial and encouraged me to call the sales office to discuss my plan. Ive had treatment for over a year and still have concerns about weed encroachment.

I called TruGreen to get a quote for full lawn and garden care as having concerns with current lawn condition. I believe I talked to a corporate rep. At first she was very friendly and helpful, and tried to give us discounts to get the price down, but refused to give me a written quote on the services she was pricing. She would send me a quote after I paid for everything for a year up front, and the price was only good for that moment. I have never had an experience with a vendor where they want you to pay for services without providing you, in detail, the services you are purchasing. When I pushed for a written quote, she turned aggressive and the friendly attitude ended. I closed the conversation saying I was not interested if they could not provide a written quote prior to me purchasing, and the rep hung up on me. For such a large, professional company, this was completely unacceptable and quite surprising. Needless to say I called TruGreen to give them my lawn care business and today they lost a service sale for full services.

My only complaint of recent is the fact that the website for the last two service applications have not heard any information as to when I can expect my next service. Each time I ve had to speak to a representative and bring to their attention that it has been six weeks or more since the previous service of which they agreed that something should ve been posted and that I was overdue. To be clear Chris, my technician. Has been absolutely wonderful, as well as Amadu. Both of them seem to have taken a personal interest in my yard. Again, the website has letting me down to be clear not posting in a timely manner upcoming services requiring me to contact you to schedule services. Well.

Always excellent service technicians. But I am disappointed that I still have lots of weeds. My neighbors use other lawn care services and they don t have the weeds that I do. Don t know what products they are using that TruGreen isn t but they seem to have healthier lawns.

Christopher is an excellent employee and I trust his opinion. He noted the burnt looking places could be too much chemicals applied in an area. Suggest I put flags around areas to see if they expand. If they do he will spray for fungus if it s overspray he said it should improve with time. I ll keep you advised.
