Rick, lawn tech from Weiss, was here a few days ago. This is our first experience with Weiss service. Rick was very understanding and explained in easy terms what he was going to do. Several of our neighbors are using Weiss service, and they have appeared to be very satisfied. With Ricks help and answers, we, too, should look for seeing him here next season.

Solid service - have been using them for years - bonus is the organic-based fertilizers. Shout out to Albert - we have plants in our landscape that are sensitive to herbicides. He took the extra steps necessary to treat our lawn with respect to the sensitive varietals.

My technician Rick was very helpful and answered all of my questions! We ve been using Weiss for years and are very happy with the results.

BUYER BEWARE!!! ZERO STARS!!! We have been using Weiss Lawn Care for the past 2 years. We had previously used another company for over 10 years but felt that a change to organic would be a better option. Several of our neighbors use them, known only because of the sign they place in the yards. Having that been said, we wish we would have asked anyone if they d ever had a problem with their lawn. They claim to have an iron clad guarantee and satisfaction guarantee. Well, DON T BELIEVE A WORD OF THAT!! Everything is great until it s not!! If you have a problem with your lawn, they will do NOTHING to make it right, even if their own lawn specialist misdiagnosed the problem!!! They will take no responsibility, even though they are the EXPERTS!! But after 2 years of our lawn getting worse & worse, and having it diagnosed wrong, they only want to give suggestions on what to do next year!!!! Robert, the manager, is useless!! He claims to consult with his team and then comes back with a bunch of babbling about weather, draught, the sun blah blah blah, nothing WE HAVE CONTROL OVER!! Then gives you an invoice for his suggestions to try to make it better. We now have a fungus that has taken over our entire front lawn but they told us for 2 years that it was web worms and we needed to add SFI Control to our plan ( which we DID & it clearly was NOT the problem!) Now, speaking with Robert 4 different times, he wants us to aerate, overseed & apply a fingal appplication 6TIMES NEXT YEAR!! NEVER MENTIONED A FUNGUS IN OUR LAWN IN 2 YEARS!!! And worse yet, Robert will NOT offer any type of guarantee whatsoever, NOT even split the difference with us as a good faith gesture and GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, let alone their 100% satisfaction guarantee!!! We have never dealt with a company that could care so little about their customers than Weiss Lawn Care!! Very disappointing and would NEVER RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES TO ANYONE!!!!!

Have had several great experiences with Weiss. They are very responsive to any issues you might have with weed trouble areas. And my lawn looks so much better which is sadly something I could never manage to do myself, lol, so I stopped wasting my time and money on products that didn t work. Today I had a great experience with Estevan who asked if I had any questions and promptly addressed my concerns.

I just want to say Albert was out here to do one of my 7 steps and he just buzzed right through jumped off(spreader ) and then sprayed for the weeds

Its the end of our 7-Step Program and we cancelled the service for 2025. Why you ask. First and foremost is the extreme marketing traffic sent to my email inbox. There is no way to limit, opt out or unsubscribe from that marketing. I called our rep and discussed the inability to opt out of marketing. I was told nothing could be done. I changed my 5 star to 2. In the end a savings of $25 was not worth all of the extra emails for another year. Previous service actually controlled the weeds a bit better. So back we go. [Original Review] Today was our first treatment with Weiss. The mailer and competitive price brought us to the company. Time will tell how the treatments interact with our lawn. I gave Weiss Lawn Care a 5 Star review because the whole process so far has been handled very professionally. Nestor, the lead technician that came out today took an appropriate amount of time to look at every area of our lawn. He blew off the patio and sidewalks so that no visible products were left behind. Nestor then came to the door and introduced himself and asked if there were any areas of concern. He then advised that we reach out to our Grass Guru Michael should anything become a concern in the future. I will update my review in the fall after a full season of treatments. We are off to a great start!

I noticed my lawn being treated today, so I stop the tech to ask some questions. I ask what can be done about the creeping Charlie coming from my neighbors yard and the Soliva sessilis in sections of my lawn. He said he can treat the edges and spot treat the sections. He also check on the digging in my lawn and said it wasnt grubs and explained what it could be. I like to thank Estevan for his help and his knowledge of lawn care.

During regular service, Esteban knocked on my door and asked if we had any questions or issues. I showed him some patches of grass that were different than the rest. He and Alejandro both took immediate action to address the issue and left me with instructions going forward. Great service, professional attitudes. Good guys!

Alex and Estevan came today to overseed. I had some concerns with the excessive heat and any ill effect it would have. Estevan explained the process and what we could do to improve the outcome. They both are friendly and polite gentlemen and very knowledgeable about their product and were very willing to answer any of my questions. So glad we made the switch to Weiss Lawn Care!

Estevan and Alex are my technicians and they do a great job every time. Its a tight squeeze to get their machines into the backyard, but they worked with me to make sure I got all services.

Rick came out this morning to check an area that I thought might have some grub damage. He was very informative and showed me that although there has been some digging, the grass root system is still strong and firm and no evidence of any grubs. He then took a look at the rest of my yard to make sure there were no other issues to be concerned about. Rick and the whole crew at Weiss Lawn Care are great!

Weve had Weiss Lawn Care here in Naperville for a few months now and were happy with the service. A good relationship begins with good communication. This is something Weiss excels at. Its definitely noticable with employees like Alan and Ramon who are willing to answer any questions we have.

Worse lawn care company ever. I hired this company for weed and feed services. After several applications, numerous phone calls and over 2 1/2 months, I still have weeds. They are very pleasant to talk to. Unfortunately, their tech is not applying the product properly or the product does not work, or both. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Today our lawn service technician Albert came out to treat our lawn. While treating the lawn Albert found a hive of ground bees in our front lawn. Albert, took the time to inform us and warm us about letting our pets out on the front lawn. We are very grateful for Albert taking the time to make sure our pets are safe. We have been Weiss tje start of this season. We have been happy so far. The plant bed weed blocker really works good. We did have an issue with our lawn because of grubs and I called to let them know there was a discoloration in our lawn. They sent out John who looked it over and accessed the problem and they put down a fertilizer to get rid of the problem. John told me what is was and then let me know how to proceed by watering the areas every other day for 20-30 minutes in the morning. The grass already looks better in that problem area.

So i have had 3 different lawn care companies in the past before i took on the services of weiss.. we have had a few treatments thus far since signing on with them.. i have been satisfied to this point but Jon was recently on my property and i cannot stress it enough that the knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail he has is top notch.. he explained everything that he was doing, what to look forward to all while identifying my problem areas without a hiccup..weiss lawncare is truly a better company with Jon

On July 13 -2024 the grub treatment was scheduled, they didn t show up, they told me they were going to reschedule for another day, on July 21they send an email saying the grub treatment was scheduled for the next day, guess what , they didn t show up again, I had this service with Weis for 3 years going on 4 , i really liked this people but I don t know what happened to them , they really lost it , they are not dependable, I m totally frustrated with their service , I give them one star

We had our first service and it was great. The service representative Nestor really helped us in understanding what our lawn needs.

Estevan felt that the reason for the brown spots in the lawn was due to grubs (recent grub treatment has mitigated that problem) and also all of the rain and heat in the last several weeks. He recommended that prior to aerating and over-seeding this fall or late summer that we rake up the dead spots. Good job of explaining. Very polite and professional.

I hired Weiss company for my lawn care. They were true to their words. I received emails from them before and after the work they did; to let me know when they were coming and what work was done. Once I emailed them concerning a spot in the grass that needed attention, it was balding. They responded right away and took care of the issue. They have been very courteous and responsible. A great customer service!

He tailored my package to specifically what my lawn needed each year starting with a core aeration and seeding which really helped fill in the bare spots our 4 dogs created during the winter. His communication skills have been excellent letting me know well in advance when the next treatment would be so I could be prepared. Going into July my lawn looks excellent and I would highly recommend Weiss to take over the duties of keeping your lawn healthy!

Earlier this week I was left with an amazing impression by a Weiss tech. I believe his name was Junior. He came through and gave me exactly what Ive asked for. I watched him from my window as he sprayed for weeds, which was my main concern. As he was finishing up, I came outside to greet him and told him I appreciated his thorough applications for my property.

This week, my technician Junior promised me that my weeds were going to start withering by the weekend. I wanted to mention that the job he did was extremely effective, and I am leaving a review for him to show how appreciative I am of his knowledge and care for my yard.

We have had Weiss service for several years and continue to be impressed by the quality of the technicians. Today, John took extra time to thoroughly describe the steps he was taking to treat our lawn and to ask if we had any additional questions. I had been out the day before and my kids had left some toys out in the yard I wasnt aware of and he was meticulous in making sure those were out of the way before he treated the yard, which I appreciated.
