My previous supplier of really good quality firewood no longer delivers. They actually referred Haulstr to me. Outstanding! It is not very often these days when a company delivers more than was expected. Their delivery team actually went above and beyond my expectations. No trash bark and all HARDWOOD! I used Haulster for firewood delivery and stacking. They stayed in effective communication throughout the request, delivered on time and stacked the wood well. Although the wood, delivery and stacking when added up seemed a little pricey, that Haulster donates part of the cost of every order to a wide range of non profits made me feel better about it. Purchased 2 ricks of firewood delivered. Apparently they scooped it up from a bunch of black mud. Almost all of the pieces are covered with dried mud. They might burn if they re really seasoned but we really don t want to bring them into our clean living room. There s no way we won t spread dirt around. Plus the sediment will build up in our expensive new Regency fireplace. Will keep looking for a reliable source of good firewood.

We had the best experience with Haulstr this year! Last year we had them deliver our mulch, but this year we decided to have them deliver AND install the mulch. As I was putting in the order it felt like I was being a bit of a diva about not installing my own mulch. When I got home from work on the day the mulch came, I realized I paid for PROFESSIONALS!! They edged all our beds and it looks so good!! Thank you Haulstr!!

Ordering online was easy and I appreciate getting to support a local organization through my purchase. I ordered 5 yards of compost and 7 yards of mulch. When it rained and I got behind in my work, Haulstr was great about postponing my delivery. My deliveries were dropped off in a truck that was appropriate for suburban driveways.

I ordered firewood to be delivered and requested a pick-up truck in order to get up my driveway. A larger dump truck arrived which required driving on my lawn to get to the back of the house. I was told that the pickup truck was not available. The firewood that was delivered is in nice sizes that dont require further splitting. Unfortunately, there was so much debris (wood chips and dirt) included with the firewood that it required a great deal of cleanup and filled my refuse container.

Ordering mulch on-line with Haulstr was a piece of cake. I was hoping their finely shredded much would be the same as triple shredded. It turned out to be waaay better than the wood chip mulch I was buying by the bag at Lowes. It was even finer than what was pictured on the Haulstr website. The delivery was quiet and spot on...I didnt even hear the delivery truck and it was placed exactly where I requested in my on-line order. I ordered 4 cu yd which I think is going to be just right for our plant beds.

Best team around! We had a really difficult time with getting a dumpster team to work with us on the weekends. The owner himself took the time to make every effort to accommodate us. He picked up on the weekend including Sunday to ensure the neighborhood would not get into our dumpster! They have the best prices in Indy! Trust me I researched for days since we needed multiple for just exterior work. They are just amazing! Billing was simple and customer service was impressive! For the second time in three years, I ordered firewood from Haulstr. The order was scheduled for delivery between 4-7 pm, but the crew arrived at 10:30 a.m. while I was out running errands. (Well, better early than late, I guess.) When I arrived home, my neighbor, who also received a rack, and I stacked our respective piles of wood and found them short of the expected amount. I called to report my concern. The immediate response was a commitment to make it right. More wood was promised during the upcoming week. The delivery date was moved up and a generous amount of wood was delivered. I can only speculate that the reason for the shortfall was a communication error between the base of operations and the delivery crew. Whats most important is that this outfit stands by their product and services, not something to take for granted. I will order from Haulstr the next time I need firewood.

From online ordering to the last log stacked, the entire experience was above and beyond!!! One rick was delivered and stacked for the best price around!! Seems like a good company. Customer service has been fine so far as well. I ordered a half rick of seasoned firewood and it arrived very wet and muddy with a couple small pieces of glass and gravel in the load so there is a bit of extra work to get it ready but speedy delivery was nice.

Haulstr employees were very nice and polite. They were on time, and were a big help, and they contribute to local causes which I love. The wood looks great; nice and seasoned.

Everything was delivered as promised and one morning, we left for a little league game and came home to installed and nicely edged mulch!! They even carefully folded my tarp and put it by the garage - an extra little detail that made an impression! Would definitely do this again.

Highly recommend! After years of schlepping and laying mulch myself, Im over it! I decided to try Haulster because I heard about them through Keep Indianapolis Beautiful (KIB). I love that they give a portion of their fee to KIB. Mostly, I love that they have the option not only to deliver mulch, but to install it as well. The only thing that was a little off-putting is the week long delivery and installation window, make it 2-3 days if you can change that. I ended up getting my mulch delivered and installed on the same day! I did watch the installers to make sure they mulched the right spots (they mostly got it right) and that they didnt bury delicate plants, they did well with that, too. Id hire them again for sure! Poor communication. Disorganized service. When I called to book, I was told that delivery would be Friday morning. I was then sent a text with an ambiguous delivery window, so I called to confirm and was told to disregard the text and plan on Friday morning July 22. I called again to confirm the day before. I prepped my beds at 11 pm. I took the morning off work. Then Haulstr pulled a no show. I left three messages Friday morning before someone called to say maybe Saturday or Monday. I am nervous that Haulstr will make another mistake, and I cannot risk the loss of another work day. I have zero confidence in their ability to manage basic tasks, and I am anxious over the inevitability of another future problem. This poor service is becoming the baseline standard in the heartland, and the inability of companies like Haulstr to connect the dots into a straight line is the reason that the Chinese are now in charge of American manufacturing. We cannot even handle mulch delivery. Update: Haulstr offered to lay my mulch for free to apologize. I had already found someone else, but it is was a nice gesture.

Super impressed with Haulstr once again! They came back and finished some additional mulching and edging. Haulstr has also done our patio, fire pit, backyard landscaping, and front yard retaining wall - which are lovely and still get lots of compliments. Shout out to Lino - the one man machine that landscaped our latest round. We also got a relatively recent fire wood drop off to top us off for winter. Also I can t remember his name, but our fire wood delivery driver is also super friendly and has impressive truck maneuvering skills. High-five Haulstr team!

I live in Whitestown and recently contacted Haulstr for an estimate for delivery and installation for mulch this season. I wanted to share my experience. Having Haulstr deliver my mulch this season was one of easiest I ve made for a beautiful yard! Travis gave me a window of time for delivery and was very prompt and precise as to where I needed it on my blue tarp in my driveway. I also scheduled installation with Haulstr. Those men were amazingly happy to help me out with decisions as to where and how much mulch to use. Great experience for a lady who wanted her yard to sparkle this summer! The driver was not only kind and professional, he was knowledgeable about the product and was excited to talk to us about it. The mulch itself was incredible- all we ve ordered before was bagged and let me tell you, there is a quality difference. We got it spread right before the rains hit this last weekend and the property looks fantastic. Overall, we were extremely satisfied. The price was great and the service has been on point. Haulstr was great! From ordering online, communicating delivery, price, quality product, and onetime delivery.

We are very pleased with the quality of mulch, timeliness of delivery and great communication by Haulstr. We will be using them again in the future.

It s good mulch, and the delivery came on the date scheduled. Knocked off a star because their delivery charge is about $20 more than other haulers, which I suppose covers the donation they advertise as part of the package. Since there s no way to verify if they pass that money along, I guess I d rather keep the $20 and decide myself what I d like to do with it.

Using Haulstr saved us a good chunk of money because they are flexible in their delivery. What helped us was they were willing to throw some 1/8 sheet metal edging on top of the mulch delivery which saved us a dedicated trip that the landscape vendor was requiring. Even without this two loads in one approach Haulstr was more cost effective. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Haulstr for your delivery needs.

Easy order; great delivery; super communication.

I received 3 text messages all confirming my delivery window. On the day of the delivery, they completely missed the window. The only response I received was that No one told the driver it was an AM delivery. The only way to contact them is via email, there is no one to call, or verify delivery before your window ends. Mulch was great quality, and the driver was very nice when they were able to come out. Great communication and reminders sent out to me the customer, but seems like their internal processes need some improvement. I will probably order again next year, but be careful before scheduling a crew to come out and do the spreading work.

Called before arrival and upon arrival. Accurate in delivery and deft in maneuvering to get the mulch in just the right place. Great experience with them, Ill be using them again next year, along with KIB.

Haultsrs communication with its customers is poor. I was never able to get confirmation of a delivery I needed to cancel due to rain, or a confirmation on a re-scheduled delivery either. While I appreciate Haulstrs heart to do good through charitable contribution and the quality of the product they finally did deliver is excellent - Haulstr nonetheless could do a Way better job of responding to customer emails and/or text messages. This customer btw could find No phone number to call Haulstr at.

Overall I love that this company allows me to support local organizations, while receiving a product that I need! The communication leading up to my job was very relaxed, with very little insight into what time the mulch would be delivered. When the crew arrived they were very efficient and did a beautiful job spreading the mulch and cleaning up the area. We had an are that we didn t prep and they even pulled weeds and edged in that area. They inadvertently cut our internet line though and did not tell us. Our provider cannot repair our service for several days, so since we are working from home we needed to find a friend that will allow us to work from their house. It s not a huge inconvenience, so my 1 star deduction was just based on the communication leading up to delivery and install.

Haulstr delivered literally and figuratively. They have a good selection of mulch types and colors, allow you to donate to charitable causes, and are flexible and courteous upon delivery.

The firewood they delivered was fine, however they also dumped a bunch of debris in our driveway like soil, gravel, dirty face masks, plastic bags, and other garbage we had to clean up after stacking the firewood.

First time ordering firewood due to our previous supplier being sold out for the rest of the year. Love the charitable aspect as well as being able to choose which charity to support. Delivered as promised with a variety of different woods. We are all ready for the cooler weather. Thanks! Also appreciate how they want to learn about new charities to support. Very professional and was pleasantly surprised when I was notified that the firewood was being delivered at the start of the day. The wood smells great and will be enjoyed this winter. Haulstr is outstanding.

Easy to use. Had a large number of charities to choose from to donate. Wood delivery was not correct but the immediately fixed the issue and delivered the rest. First time I used them and was very happy.

It is not often theses days to find a company that exceeds expectations HAULSTER is just that. Call for firewood delivery yesterday and sat it up for 10-15 Friday. 11 AM Thursday Poe call would be able to deliver today, a whole day early! Driver sent text when he was 30 minutes away. I was not home but explained where to drop delivery. Not only was wood delivered in the exact location requested. The exact amount was there. Hardwoods; oak, walnut, hickory and cherry, all cured as stated. THANK YOU GUYS.

I have not had customer service this good in years. These guys do back flips to make you happy. Funny thing, I wasnt even upset. Just inquired about the age of the logs. Really, really cannot recommend them enough.

I wouldn t recommend firewood from haulstr. Paying a very premium price you would expect premium fire wood. This means split good,dry and ready to go. I personally received wood with 40% moisture level and at least 60% of splits are giant. Prob twice as large as desired for stove. Wood sizzles and smokes and takes very long time to dry out enough to even be able to close door on stove. Disappointing as the reason i used haulstr and paid the premium was because the wood i already had was a little to green to burn this year so i thought well ill bite the bullet and pay the premium so i can at least burn . Bad mistake. New woods 15%wetter than the rick of hickory i bought for $80. Update. Haulstr called me within 12 hours and had new truck out with new wood within 16 hours. Even helped carry and stack behind house. They even left the old wood. Im really impressed. I redact any negativity i put on them. They stand behind their product and i wouldnt be worried at all to buy more wood

Right on time; excellent quality firewood; and for a small extra fee the delivery person even stacked the wood in my wood racks. Very good service and product - and we liked the add-on for our local charity preferences.

Half of the firewood delivered is unusable because of the moisture content being too high. There was ice an a lot of prices. That s not a good sign. It won t burn! At least half of it needs to be split because it is way to large for a fireplace. It is also pretty dirty. For what they charge, this should be ready to be thrown in the fireplace and burn well! This is not the case. Very disappointed. Can t recommend this company. For firewood. The communication for delivery was great though. Frank from Haulstr contacted me today to talk about this firewood. I appreciate the company standing behind their product and quickly addressing the issues I had. Frank went above and beyond to correct these and make it right. Thank you!
