Rod and Dylan have just completed a large porcelain patio for us, including building several steps to match the patio. The team worked exceptionally hard and the end result is amazing, highly recommend them.
Rod and his team have recently completed a major landscaping project in our garden involving significant earth moving and the construction of a large sleeper retaining wall as well as raised beds and fencing and a considerable amount of planting. We have been extremely impressed by his work ethic and the quality of the work carried out. His team arrived punctually, usually at 8am but sometimes considerably earlier, and worked all day with only a short break for lunch, staying late or working weekends where necessary. The whole team were friendly and approachable and Rod went out of his way to discuss his intended actions to ensure they were in line with what we wanted. He was very open to suggestions and willing to modify plans as the project progressed. We were particularly impressed by the hard work and commitment of his young assistant, Dylan, who is the only workman we have ever seen running with a full wheelbarrow to complete a task on time! The quotation for the job was very competitive and Rod tried to minimise unnecessary costs at all stage. We are extremely happy with the end result, which has transformed our garden, and equally happy to recommend Rod’s services.
Would highly recommend Rod and his team to anybody wanting any landscaping work been carried out. Reliable, punctual and very tidy workers. Rod ordered all materials so took away the stress of making sure everything was ordered correctly. My garden has been completely transformed from an old sandstone patio/grass area into a modern look porcelain patio.
My experience of Rod at first was quite good the work looked great but sadly that’s where it ends. We have had our landscaped rear garden done 18 months now and we have several of the sandstone slabs lifting most of the grouting is crumbling away and the grass is just knackered it has not been right since it was relayed, we payed for Rod to come back out to carry out drainage work and putting a soak away in and it hasn’t helped, you can see a huge mound where the soak away hasn’t been put deep enough in. I’ve had Rod back to look at it but since then which was October last year I’ve had nothing but excuses, simply wasn’t interested after he’d been paid. And paid very well I might add, he has since changed some staff which may make his current work better but my experience was dreadful and our garden looks nice from far but far from nice .
Rod Toher was recommended to us by a friend who was delighted with the work Rod and his Team had completed for him. So when we decided to update our patio, I had no hesitation in contacting Rod. He came promptly, we discussed and agreed what we wanted and we received a competitive quote. We quickly decided to go ahead and Rod and his team came and produced a very professional and top quality transformation of the patio. We were so delighted with the result that we decided to have our front paths updated with the same materials. Again, Rod and his Team transformed the front garden to the same high quality. I have no hesitation in recommending Rod.
I would recommend Rod and his team to anybody thinking of having some landscaping work done. They removed an old retaining wall made of sleepers and replaced it with a breeze block and brick wall. Rod and his team worked in all weather conditions to ensure the work was completed in a timely manner, the quality of work is first ate and at a very competitive price. I cant recommend highly enough.

We were very pleased with the work Rods team did in our garden, removing old paths and laying a new one. Communication was good, and they arrived as arranged. Mike, who was on site for the whole time, was in frequent contact with Rod, and any challenges that came up were quickly resolved. An off-shoot to the path which sloped in 2 different directions was a particularly impressive piece of paving work! The guys were friendly and I was comfortable having them working in the garden. We are very pleased with the resulting path, and have no hesitation in recommending Rod and his team.
Rod & his team have done an incredible job on our back garden. We couldnt be more happy with the outcome, exactly how we originally designed with a couple of changes made that were recommended by Rod which have made the perfect finishing touches to our home. Genuinely lovely & approachable people who definitely went the extra mile for us and for our neighbour! The work we had done was: planters, lawn, patio, fence boarding, pergola, shed & base. All work was completed to the highest standard and we would highly recommend! Look forward to using Rod & his team again in the future (& seeing Belle again too of course!)
Rod and his team are excellent. Our garden was a very sorry state of affairs before Rods transformation. His team worked with us and gave us a superb new patio, (excellent and creative design by Rollie) garden path and shed base along with new sleeper planters. A lot of preparation work, Rod and his team worked through all weather conditions to get the job done.

From start to finish Rod was very accommodating, ensuring we talked through the designs and got exactly what we wanted. Rod and his team arrived to start work on two patios and they were on site early, very polite, excellent communication throughout in order to ensure we were happy with their work and progress and the standard of their work was outstanding!
