They do great work

For many years we have used Bluegrass for landscaping and irrigation. Our backyard used to flood when it rained. They installed French drains. No more flooding .The employees work hard and are very pleasant to be around. They make sure that they have done all of the tasks to our liking. The mulch that Bluegrass uses is dark, clean, and lasts the entire year.

Bluegrass was amazing! They did a phenomenal job creating a beautiful landscape design & an even better job completing the work. We had an irrigation system installed, lighting, & a lawn put in. TJ was excellent, Kevin was awesome, Rodney was so personable and friendly & the entire crew was professional & incredibly hard working - Josh & Dakota were amazing. The crew showed up every day, communicated, waved and smiled at my kids ( who watched & dictated from the windows .. 3 year old twin boys are no joke, yall ), carried on small talk as we came and went, and, provided opinions and insights and a whole lot of advice and recommendations. We are so, so happy with the layout - the execution was top knotch : plain & simple - we couldnt be happier. We will definitely be keeping Bluegrass as our preferred ( & favorite! ) landscaping people!

They fixed an existing brick walkway that needed repair and also went above and beyond repair my dock by the lake and build up with stones. They put in a patio with pavers that I love. This was all done in April during that crazy snowy April weather in Canton, Oh.so professionally. Josh, Marvin and Micah were wonderful to work with! I would highly recommend this company !

j j and Kenny helped with my pond cleanup and irrigation today and both are incredible employees if I had a business I would hire both of them away from you if I could. I request you only send them to me if possible given our needs and their expertises. All your people have always been wonderful but these guys are supermen . This company goes above and beyond!!! Josh came to turn my irrigation system on and not only was he professional and courteous he is very knowledgeable and made sure I was completely happy before he left!! I highly recommend using them for your sprinkler start ups and stops!

Josh with Bluegrass Inc. came to our house today to restart our sprinkler system for the summer. He was very professional and very respectful of our wishes. He was very knowledgeable about how to do the work safely and he took the time to do everything right. He explained everything he was doing, and even helped by marking some of the sprinkler lines as best he could (we asked since we plan to plant some bushes). I will definitely have Bluegrass back in the fall to turn off my system, and I will ask for Josh specifically! Top Notch!

I use Bluegrass to manage my sprinkler system. Recently Josh came out for my sprinkler start-up. He was honest, professional, efficient, and polite. He addressed my concerns and was able to fix identified problems with ease. Josh is both respectful and knowledgeable. I will be requesting him for future appointments.

A family friend told me to call them for some driveway work. I called to make an appointment for an estimate and the person who answered the phone said they would get back to me and no one ever did. I know places are super busy but at least a phone call back would have been nice!

This is a company that stands by their work. We did a large project that originally ran into some unforeseeable challenges. The team and the owner stayed with us throughout and made everything right. The project ended up different and better than what we originally planned. It is great to work with people you can trust! As a follow up we did another large project with them a few years after the one mentioned above. They did outstanding work. The team they brought out was really professional and polite. They did more than we expected and we were thrilled with the results. Highly recommend.

If I could give more stars I would. The crew did a fabulous job blending into an existing deck and paver patio with a beautiful set of stairs and stone work. They have my business for all future landscaping needs.

We utilized bluegrass to excavate a large area in our backyard for a playset. They removed sod and leveled the ground, installed 6x6 and laid landscaping paper. Brad and Dave were the team that did the work and they were excellent! They were professional, did quality work, maintained great communication throughout the project, and always cleaned up. They worked hard to maintain the integrity of our yard aside from the project area. We have other projects in mind and would definitely want this team back working on them! Great job, guys!

The customer service I received from all of the folks at Bluegrass was top notch. We recently moved to a home that had an existing irrigation system. Kenny performed the start up and took the time to educate me on how to operate the system. Everyone I dealt with at Bluegrass was very personable and friendly.

Bluegrass recently did my spring cleanup, edging, and mulching as well as adding new plants and annuals to our landscape. The entire crew was professional, courteous, neat and responsive to whatever I asked them to do. It is a fairly extensive job with well over 100 yards of mulch. They handled irrigation and lighting issues while they were here as well. Prior to cleanup they reset over 300 foot of rock wall. Great job and a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend Bluegrass.

I am so pleased with the work I had done. I first called Bluegrass & talked to a very welcoming lady who immediately set up an appointment for me. Greg came & talked to me & gave some recommendations. He was always timely returning my messages for any questions/concerns I had. He made me comfortable having Bluegrass do the work. Josh & Micah were the two young men that did the actual work. They were both so respectful to me & my property. Mid job I wasnt exactly liking what I saw. Josh gave a recommendation, although it was going to be extra work. I felt bad, but Josh said it wasnt a big deal, as he wanted me to be happy with the final product. I absolutely love the finished product! And teamwork! Toward completion a couple other men came & pitched in to make sure it got done at the end of the day. I have had many of my neighbors stop by wanting to know who did the work. One lady wants to call Bluegrass about a project she would like to do. I will highly recommend Bluegrass on so many levels. Employees, workmanship, customer service are all top notch. It was also refreshing that Greg, Josh & Micah all spoke highly of their employer. That speaks volumes. Thank you so much!

Kenny did a great job with our sprinkler system today. He found our valve box easily and fixed our problem fast. He also replaced a few sprinkler heads and took his time and made sure they all worked well before leaving. He was very professional with a great caring attitude. We will have him back if any future issues arise. We recommend him highly.

Dustin and the team were great. The design a great irrigation system for my house with the zones being highly optimized for the shape of my yard and plants. I would recommend them to everyone.

Dustin did a great job of cleaning out my pond and getting my pump cleared out. He rearranged some of the rocks, weeded, and gave me some suggestions on how to winterize my pond. I am very happy with Bluegrass! The water is clear, the goldfish are happy, the water has a clean flow, and I am thrilled with the way it looks.

Ive used Bluegrass for several years for irrigation system maintenance and also for Christmas lighting display. They do an excellent job. Very dependable and promptly respond to any issues that occur. The very few issues Ive had with the the Christmas lighting over the yrs, once reported, they are immediately to fix the problem. A great team of workers.

Awesome Landscaper

Josh Strubel and crew (Josh E. And Brad) were AWESOME! They totally rebuilt our old, obsolete fish pond in West Akron. They saved my fish - taking them to their company pond. I no longer wanted a fish pond but saving them was of utmost importance to me. Next they rebuilt our pond using the rocks we had. The work was nasty, dirty and very difficult for they probably lifted thousands of pounds of rock while hovering over other rocks and holes. They came organized and on a mission with a game plan and never stopped until they gave us a stunning double tiered pond. I would recommend Bluegrass in a heartbeat. My son recommended them to us after they did irrigation work at their house in Canton.

Dustin, Anthony, Ryan and Brian did an awesome job removing a tree ,mulching and planting trees in our backyard! The yard looks great! I highly recommend Bluegrass for all your landscaping needs!

They liked our(needy for attention) dogs. They transformed our back yard completely into a space well now enjoy occupying. Started quickly after estimate, kept at it, and finished beautifully and completely. TJ was wonderful at design ideas and got his hands dirty to complete his and our vision. This company lived up to their motto and surpassed my expectations. Ken and everyone who worked on the project did a fantastic job. The landscaping went from old and overgrown to new and refreshing in just a few days - which also impressed me considering the size of the project. The quality of their work was measured by the number of positive comments from all of my neighbors.

Our irrigation system had a crack in a pvc line and leaking valves. The system was dated and so I had their tech replace all of the valves as well as repair several heads and also replace a few. My appointment was 3pm. He showed up on time and stayed until almost 8 pm and did an excellent job. I felt the pricing was fair and the work was great. He went over everything with me before starting and I was impressed with his knowledge of the system. Bluegrass has earned my business after my first time using them.

I hired this company because of good reviews. The good reviews are correct. Had them install a sprinker system in my front lawn and a drip system in my entire back garden in June. Talk about a huge job. My entire planted back garden is covered in river stone. They had to hand dig /install the entire system in back yard, no room for power equipment. Took them almost a week of really hard work, and did an awesome job. Worked through rainstorms and never stopped or complained. We now look at my lawn and garden and love it, you cant tell they were ever there. My plants and grass can, and are doing really well. The crew cleaned up very nicely before leaving each day. Because of the great work and attention to detail, I hired them again this September to take out/replace some broken flag stone retaining walls/borders in my back garden and replace with block, and reshape some flower beds. Also had them upright a fallen 2000 lb mill stone I had in my front bed a fixed the entire bed. My wife and I are very happy with the way all the projects look. We will be hiring them for all future jobs, without a second thought. I would like to thank David for going above and beyond when putting in our irrigation system. Great employee, as are all the employees at Bluegrass!

Bluegrass recently completed multiple projects at our home - front lawn landscaping, a new irrigation system, reset old stone walls, walkways, and multiple stairs; and a multi-level patio renovation complete with reconstruction of a covered porch with some tricky electrical work. Yes, it was a big job that lasted approximately one month. We are thrilled with the results; everything looks fantastic. We are looking forward to using our beautiful new spaces. We also want to comment on the outstanding service and workmanship. The crew arrived bright and early every day, worked in the rain, cleaned up daily, and were polite and friendly. Needless to say this was by far the best home remodeling experience weve ever had. Thank you!

I initially decided to contact Bluegrass because of the reviews. Turns out, reviews were accurate. Ken and his team worked long and hard on 2 very large koi ponds and waterfalls. It was a complete rebuild that I am very happy with. Bluegrass has knowledgeable, and dedicated staff that really made the difference. Hats off to the bluegrass team!

We have used Bluegrass for several projects from landscaping to holiday lighting. They have always exceeded our expectations at a fair price. We will continue to use them for our home projects.

We have used TJ and Bluegrass for over 20 years and 3 different houses. They installed our first sprinkler system and invisible fencing for our dogs. They did the same for our second house as well as landscape lighting and holiday lighting. The only reason they didnt do the landscape design and install is that they didnt provide that service at the time (despite asking TJ many times). With our third house, they did so TJ did everything. After a few years we wanted some additional work done, so they built a cedar structure over our patio to provide additional shade. They are professional and reliable. TJ is the first person we call when we need something done.

We have tried many other companies in the area and Bluegrass far exceeds any other in work ethic, results, and customer service. We also use Bluegrass for Christmas lighting and each year they look wonderful. Nothing but top-notch service!

Greg and his crew were wonderful to work with. Greg redesigned our front landscaping, and repaired our front walkway and back patio. He was able to transplant and reuse much of our existing plant material, along with adding new plants and hardscape. The results are beautiful. We are planning on having Greg redesign our firepit area this next season.

Bluegrass landscaped the beds around my house. They were interested in learning and meeting my objectives. Not wanting to fight Mother Nature, I needed their professional advice on what would look good and best thrive. They offered professional customer service at reasonable cost. Bluegrass Inc. completely reworked our pool deck, pouring new concrete to correct a previous issue and then covering all the concrete with large outdoor pavers. They also planted new trees and shrubbery and built a beautiful rock wall to anchor the pool deck. The end result is stunning! Excellent landscape and lighting company. We first hired them to do our outdoor lighting for the front of our house. They did a superb job at placing the light to where it would look best when the light shines on our home. Weve noticed a few homes in our neighborhood where other companies placed the lighting in all the wrong areas- so the lighting would look really awkwardly placed when it was shine on the home, but NOT Bluegrass. They did a perfect job! Our second project- we decided to take a gamble and hired them to create our ultimate (huge) dream backyard landscaping (complete with ponds, waterfalls, flagstone walkways, stone bridge, pergola, & lighting). It was more of a gamble since they are more known for lighting & irrigation, but it was a great gamble. My husband is quite the artist, so he practically drew out our whole idea & design on paper, & they turn our drawing into a real life masterpiece. A drawing that came alive- it was awesome! But they also incorporate their own ideas into our landscaping that werent in the drawing- making it a complete show stopper! Again, they succeeded in making everything even way beyond our original expectations. My husband and I are perfectionists- we admit we are probably one of their most difficult customers. We had our say in everything and all things, but they have always listen and fixed everything to our liking. If there was something we werent quite satisfied with- they would fix it right away. At the end of our 4 month long project- it was spectacular! Even months later, whenever there was a concern or if something wasnt working properly (like one of the pumps to our larger watersfalls) they would come & fix it right away. Great company, great owner, & great workers!

Called in to inquire about removing vegetation from a steep hill in my backyard. I was told that they dont remove grass or vegetation unless they are also going to complete a larger landscape project. Very poor service not customer friendly! If you offered to remove the vegetation and then suggested a project for my hill maybe I would have also agreed for the additional services. Your website says Surpassing Expectation is where we begin Thats a lie how about Dont expect anything from us if we dont think we can make alot of money

Bluegrass is a very professional, reasonable priced, reliable company. We contacted TJ about a month ago about a water feature project in our backyard. TJ came out the next week to give us ideas. Two weeks later, Bluegrass was in our backyard completing the project. The promptness and reliability of Bluegrass is to be commended, since the four other companies I contacted wouldnt have been able to complete our project until after September. I was not really sure what type of water feature I wanted for our patio, so TJ was terrific in sending pictures and communicating with me during the whole process. The crew arrived promptly on the day TJ said they would and worked diligently to get the project completed in two days. It was so hot outside for the guys and they kept working. Our family has really enjoyed the beautiful water feature Bluegrass Inc. constructed for us. Everyone that visits our patio compliments the water feature, It has added so much more personality to our back yard. We have recommended TJ and Bluegrass Inc. to lots of our friends and will continue to do so. We also will be contacting TJ and Bluegrass Inc. in the near future for a few other home projects. Great work

My neighbors had their landscape wall rebuilt and I asked them if they were pleased with the work. They said that they were very pleased. The company was Bluegrass. Our wall needed rebuilt also, so I contacted TJ and he promptly came to our home and gave us an estimate. The job was started in less than 10 days and was completed in 2 days. The guys that worked on the wall were polite and very good at what they did. I would highly recommend Bluegrass to anyone that needed work done. And the wall looks great!

Cant be more pleased! TJ and his crew from Bluegrass installed our entire landscape, paver patio areas, fire pit, water feature (fountains), and grilling area and did an outstanding job. It looks like a magazine! They were very efficient , hard-working and accommodating. TJ is a pleasure to work with and we will not hesitate to use him again for additional projects soon.
