They were super responsive and did a great job at a great price. The tree trimming and removal was thorough and my yard looks transformed.

In April 2024, I purchased Gomez Landscape & Tree Care s (GLTC) arborist consult for $200 and got a quote to trim five fruit trees. This review is for the consultation and the quote. When the quote Jaime of GLTC provided was almost four times higher for a job that was 70% the size of the job that was done by another company just two years ago, I decided to get quotes from four companies that were insured and had certified arborists. Most of the information from GLTC s consulting arborist, Leo, was useful and was in line with my research and the information I received from the other four certified arborist (none of whom charged for their consultation). Leo proposed cabling for the avocado tree; however, this service was not recommended by any of other four certified arborist. I asked one of the four arborists about cabling for the avocado tree. He informed me that he did cable tree limbs, when necessary, and gave some examples of when that was appropriate. He said, if you and I talked for four hours about how to care for your tress, cabling the avocado tree would not have come up. He went on to list several reasons why it was not a good idea. Workers were well trained to carefully remove a large tree without damage to roof or surroundings. On time and courteous. Would highly recomend and use again if needed. We have had the same pine trees on our property for over 40 years. During the last 30 years, we have had them topped and thinned regularly by a variety of different tree trimmers. Gomez and his crew came on time, were polite, and did the most masterful work that we have ever had done on the trees. Their price was reasonable. In all the previous years, we have had to clean up the remaining debris that other crews have carelessly left. This was not the case with Gomez. Gomez s crew did a fabulous job, allowing us to enjoy our trees rather than spending the next day filling bags with the remaining debris. We look forward to repeat visits from them. -M

Due to our own negligence and aggressive gardeners next door, our 12 year old wall hedge of creeping fig toppled over onto itself, revealing an ugly cinderblock wall. Years of effort to cover the wall in green now seemed down the drain, and I was in tears. I called these guys, and Apolonio, one of the owners, came out with a crew. Theyd never tackled anything quite so dire before, but they came up with an ingenious solution, hooking it back on the wall with a hidden system of bolts and green wire. This was the happiest day of my life, I tell you. I think any other service would have told us to cut it down and start over. So dont give up hope, call Gomez Landscape & Tree Care. C. I got my drone stuck in a tree about 70 feet up. I didnt want it to fall on someone, let aline lose the costly drone. Gomez came out and got it out of the tree with their gigantic boom arm. It made me dizzy just seeing how far up he was. I got my drone back safe and sound and I am very happy. Thanks, guys!!

This is a fantastic tree service company. We had several oak tree issues (fallen, dry, sick) and had multiple trees trimmed. They did an excellent job keeping the natural look of the trees while ensuring they are healthy. We will always call them to maintain our trees.

A wind strom took down a tree in front of our home and we called Gomez Landscape & Tree Care to remove the tree and grind the stump. They came out the same day for the estimate, and the did the job the following day by reassigning some crew members and equipment. They did a great job and left the site clean, graded and properly irrigated. Right before Thanksgiving! Thank you to all at Gomez Tree Care! Highly recommended.

We were so pleased with the work done by Gomez Landscape & Tree Care at my mother-in-laws house that we called them again for major tree work at our own home. The work involved removing a variety of trees and shrubs and pruning others. Gilbert was able to promptly provide an estimate that included an aerial photo of our property and indicated the various jobs to be done. The uniformed crew and several trucks arrived on time as scheduled. I felt very comfortable with the team and any questions or concerns were quickly addressed. We needed access to a neighbors yard and that was easily managed. The crew worked diligently and all the work was completed in one day. Watching some crew members scale a giant eucalyptus was quite a sight. You have to hand it to the professionals! I appreciated the clean-up as well - they even scooped up some debris that had fallen in the pool. Gilbert and crew members were personable and professional and we would work with them again.

Be sure to talk with the workers to see that they got the same instructions as you expected. We realized we just saw a topping of twisted junipers at the side of the house was missed. Not a good experience. Consultant came out and could hardly speak a whole sentence without looking at his phone. Not worth the $200 consultant fee. Wasted my money. My $200 was refunded to me. Polo and his team have been amazing helping us maintain our huge trees in both our front and back yard. They also got rid of some plants / shrubs that we needed removed for our renovation and fixed an irrigation leak. They are very professional, on time, and very helpful. Polo is very insightful on all trees and what their individual needs are. I HIGHLY recommend them and grateful for the neighbor who initially referred us to them.

Everyone here at Gomez Landscape and Tree Care is very helpful and efficient and takes pride in their work, from Polo, who did my estimate and coordinated everything, to the office team. They not only did tree trimming and pruning but trimmed shrubs, large overgrown bushes, plants growing onto the structure and general cleanup of the property, etc. I will certainly use them in the future!!

I have used Gomez for years with great satisfaction, and this recent experience was no different. After our initial call, an on-site consultation was quickly scheduled and took place where we walked through the level of service required/suggested. Thereafter, an estimate was provided with some available date and start times. As always, this process is very straightforward and easy to follow. On the scheduled day, the crew arrived as promised (7 am) and did initial prepping for the job before the bigger (louder) equipment was broken out after 8:30 am. With about 8 trees being trimmed (two with considerable trimming), the entire job was completed within 7 hours and done very well including a complete clean-up. After the work was done, a walk-through was done with an on-site supervisor to discuss any concerns/issues as well as to assess my impression of the overall work (which was great). At a time when service in the service industry can be sorely lacking, Gomez Landscaping stands apart in their professionalism and competency. If you are in the market for tree trimming (or likely other services they provide that we havent used ourselves), you should have Gomez Landscaping at the top of your list!

They said they cleaned up all the trimmed branches but we later found many 10 foot branches and all kinds of mess in our garden from the trimming! Not good clean up at all!!

I am posting this for my husband (of 40 years)-Michael Sugleris. I am currently a board member of the Peacock Ridge Homeowners Association. Our board has had a business with Gomez Landscaping and Tree Service for the last 14 years. At first we hired his company for annual tree trimming and in the last 6-7 years we have hired him his company for many other landscaping projects. He has never disappointed us. This past year our HOA hired his company for our regular maintenance contract while continuing to use his company for our annual tree trimming service. We have also used his company to help sure up a hillside behind one of our homeowner s house. That homeowner was very satisfied with the work completed as was the board. After the Wolsey Fire his crew removed and disposed of trees that were lost in the fire and at the same time pointed out many that we thought were dead but were salvageable. Gilbert Gomez, the owner of the company, has a terrific crew of workers and arborist on staff including himself and his brother- a real family business! Gilbert and his company has never disappointed me or our HOA. I would recommend him to anyone knowing that he is professional, fair in his pricing and ethical. Thank you Gomez. I have a cherished pepper tree that I am sentimental about. After many years I could tell the tree needed some help and so I called Gomez. My experienced started with Polo, a certified arborist and someone with a wealth of incredible tree knowledge. He told me exactly what I needed to know about my tree and more, and diagnosed exactly what work was needed. A few days later, Gomezs work crew showed up right on time, greeted me, went over all the details of the project in a polite and friendly and properly socially distanced way for the times. They got to work and did a beautiful job trimming my tree. After they were done, we went over the excellent work product and then they cleaned the work area. Needed to get a proposal for removing a broken tree limb, figuring to keep the work local, I was floored when I received the proposal which was 3 times higher than any one else.

They are great. Did what was on the bid and a little more. Left our place perfectly cleaned up. Our trees look clean and especially the oak tree is cleaned and majestic looking.

Wow! I wish all businesses were as great and reliable as this one. I called on Gomez to get a quote on maintenance of several large and over grown trees on our new property up in Topanga. I made an appointment for someone to come survey the job and provide a quote. Polo, the owner, showed up the next morning right on time. We walked through the property and he educated me on what he thought should be done in his professional. He was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. It s like he was able to speak to the trees! Later that day Polo emailed me a quote just as he said he would. The price seemed very fair for the amount of work, as well as the skill required to dangle from these giant trees safely. I agreed to the quote and I got on the schedule for the job to be done a few days later. Polo and his team arrived exactly when they said they would. Earlier this week my wife called me as I was leaving work to tell me that one of our last big trees on our front lawn had fallen over into the roadway and on one of our cars. Fortunately, the car wasn t damaged but there I was with a big tree that I needed to get taken care of quickly before the City issued me a citation and cleaned it up and charged me. After reaching out to several tree care companies Gilbert from Gomez called me. He was pleasant and promised to be at my house at 6:00 the next morning. He showed up promptly, gave me a realistic quote and within a half hour or less had a crew of seven guys cutting up and disposing of the tree. In a matter of hours the tree was gone, including the roots and besides a broken fence you could almost not tell that there was a tree there to begin with. A first rate guy and a first rate company. I recommend them for any jobs you may have.

Without going in to a whole bunch of details, Ill just say these guys showed up to help me out of jam that sort of fell outside of the realm of normal tree and landscaping services. This organization, from the boss down, served to reaffirm my belief that there are still good people and ethical and fair businesses in the world. If youre on the fence about who to call for these types of services, do not hesitate in giving theses guys a shout. They wont disappoint.

Greg the estimator came out at the scheduled time and couldnt have been more professional and polite. After receiving three bids, Gomez Landscape and Tree Care was the lowest by over $250.00. I was a little concerned that the lower price might equal fewer branches being trimmed from the trees; however, I was wrong. They trimmed six trees in total and every one of them looks outstanding. The crew arrived on time and completed the job with amazing swiftness. They cleaned up every bit of the mess and actually left the property better than they found it. I received an email within a half hour of them completing the job checking to make sure we were completely satisfied, which we were. It was a positive experience from start to finish, and I will definitely use them again in the future!

We loved the service of Gomez Landscaping. We have a huge Italian Stone Pine tree that have not been trimmed in 5 or more years and became a giant endangering our home and the apartment building next door. Gomezs crew started early morning and except for a short lunch worked non-stop till dust, with utmost safety and expertise. We were amazed and delighted to see them trim the tree. It looks now more beautiful than ever. And they collected all of the waste and left the area squeaky clean. They were courteous and attentive and responded to our questions and needs promptly and with true care.

I hired Gomez last week to prune several trees on my property. They came out the same day I called them and gave me a very competitive quote. I interviewed a couple other outfits but was not sold as they were not Certified by the ISA as real arborists. Gomez did an outstanding job of pruning all of my trees.
