Phillip and his on site team were great. My boundary on one side and to the back was standard fence that had been torn to pieces by Ivy and brambles. I came up with an idea for the fence line and Phillip helped me realise it. The team were polite and hard working. They made my narrow access to the garden seem as if it wasn t a problem at all, when other landscapers had expressed trepidation. I would be happy to consider the Cambridge Lanscaper for future projects.

Very responsive in providing a reasonable quote. The work was quickly arranged and carried out. My only quibble was that the work took a couple of visits as not all of the buildings materials were brought on the first visit. But the fence looks lovely and Im happy with the work.

The Cambridge Landscapers were fantastic for our smallish project involving installing a pergola, laying an area of fresh paving, re-laying and re-grouting a larger pre-existing area of paving, and planting several trees. They were efficient, including proactively working with us to find solutions to some of the smaller details and the work was done to a high standard. Highly recommend them, and a special thanks to the on-site team of Ben and Jack, who were a pleasure to work with!

They were good when putting the fence up but within a month there were issues. 80% of the posts had split, they hadnt actually put a post at one end, and around 20 of the fence boards cracked or had eyes pop out and my fence looks like swiss cheese. Phil said hed sort it but after chasing for a year Ive given up. Ill adjust the rating if he does actually keep to his word and fix it.

We had a lovely experience with Phil (the Cambridge landscaper) and his team. We had grand ambitions for our small but high spec garden, and Phil and his team helped us realise them - from the initial design through to specification and implementation. The project came in close to budget - with any deviations accounted for via clear and fair scope change - and according to expectations. The on-site team were polite, respectful and were a pleasure to have on our property. We were also able to work with Phil to arrange third party services such as electrician and building works on the house. If we need any further work in the future, Phil will be my first point of call and I would be happy to recommend him to friends and family.

Tried to get a quote, made an appointment, no one showed up. The reply I got when reaching out to ask what happened was: Sorry Marc, was busy on site today, can we do Wednesday same time (traffic being well?). A perfunctory apology with no good reason for missing an appointment at a time proposed by the owner is simply bad service. The owner seems to be unhappy with the review. Im only summarising facts here - if he wants to avoid such reviews, he should consider behaving in a different way.

The team were great - clearing our roof after it got killed in previous year heat wave, fixing the substrate, reseeding. Very pleased!

Phil cancelled our appointment a day before. Since this was my end of tenancy, the landlord took part of my deposit to do the works himself.

From responding quickly to our initial enquiry, giving us a detailed written quote, undertaking a prompt site visit where I was able to discuss my design ideas and hear Phils recommendations - all the way through to the excellent team who undertook the work headed up by James who were polite and efficient. I particularly appreciated the excellent communication with Phil throughout the project so we could discuss any potential modifications or cost changes in advance so we could choose whether to approve them. Philip and his team have been great in sorting out Stage 1 of my garden scheme. In preparation for a planned garden studio they have cleared an area, removed the old shed and also all traces of the lawn which we no longer wanted. A new base has been laid for a new shed which they will erect shortly and hopefully they will be back after the studio appears to continue with Stage 2 of the garden renovations. They have been polite, thorough and very easy to work with throughout.

Philip and his team did a fantastic job with our patio; the team discussed the details up front so we knew what options we had. The job was completed to schedule, and were very happy with the result, it looks professionally finished. We would definitely recommend this business to others. Update: Unfortunately there have been issues caused by insufficient support at the edge in this project, which I have asked to be remedied, but the company is unwilling to engage, despite repeated attempts to show the cause. It has been a disappointing experience since this initial result was ok, but ultimately the execution has failed after less than 13 months. Further update: The claim that the excavation was completed by a third party is correct, except from the area where failure occurred, as shown in the attached image. In this area the contractors performed the excavation by hand, and failed to follow the depth necessary. As originally stated, the business takes little responsibility after completion of the work, refusing to even visit or discuss a remedy. The outcome speaks for itself.

Highly professional service for my driveway installation project, after a previous positive experience installing fencing in my back garden. Phil and his team worked hard to get our front and rear garden back to something that we can enjoy. Although the weather was a bit hit and miss they ploughed on regardless. They were a cheerful bunch of guys, very polite and if changes were needed they discussed it with us. There was a minor problem but that was dealt with even though they were busy elsewhere.

Outstanding work exceeding my expectations. We contracted the Cambridge Landscaper, initially to clear out a seriously overgrown garden, a work that subsequently extended into a full revamp of our garden, including the laying of new turf, creating flower beds and a large patio. The work was done and agreed with Phil in stages, (i) clearance, (ii) turfing and flower beds and finally (iii) the patio. The James and Marius team, that made the bulk of the revamping work of our garden was extraordinary, their work ethics and professionalism impressive. Moreover, it was a share pleasure to have them around. The final result exceeded my expectations. The James and Marius team (as well as all the others who were more occasionally involved in this project) comes highly recommended in my book.

The team did a fantastic job on our garden fence. Very skilled and done in a very timely manner. Couldnt recommend them enough.

Phil, the owner is very friendly and charming but he struggles to cope with details, tight deadlines or with any unscheduled hiccups. My job was delayed because Phil told me that the wrong materials had been delivered the week before the scheduled start date. Since no-one had checked what had arrived until the workmen turned up to start work this was a poor excuse. Saying his team was unable to do the job without the right materials, the workmen all left and returned with only three days to go before Christmas. This left them in a rush to finish the job and they disappeared as soon as it got dark on 23rd and refused to come back on 24th to finish off and deal with the snags despite my offering to pay them extra to do so following which my partner spoke to him once on the phone to clarify what rectification work was required. Phil thought this was aggressive I assume because we had woken him up when wed called him at 10:30am after hed failed to turn up as promised at 10am. It has taken two months of postponed, cancelled and no-show appointments for Phil finally to deal with the problems and, while he was very apologetic and has at long last sorted out what was wrong, I m left feeling very disappointed that he and his team didnt take the time to do their best work first time round. To add insult to injury Phil explained what lessons he had learned from my job and how hes since done it properly for someone else, and I see a new review which suggests this is the case, so you might very well be luckier than I was.

Phil and his team cleared and fenced over 50m of our garden, and we are very happy with the results. He was able to come and visit and give us a quote within 24 hours of contacting him and we found his rates extremely reasonable. His team were also able to start work sooner than we imagined, which was fantastic.
