Luis and his crew were easy to work with. Hired them to install pavers and grass. Very happy with the work they did.

I had an appointment to meet with somebody between 8 and 9 AM this morning. Nobody arrived every time I called the office. They said they would call me back and let me know the ETA. Nobody bothered to let me know what s going on. While I was waiting, I ended up connecting with another landscaper who was able to give me a quote over the phone and will be getting the work done for me this week. I wasted four hours of my morning, trying to get a hold of Red Rose after they scheduled to meet with me. I will never use them again. I am a repeat customer and this is not the way you treat your customers.

Replaced our failed retaining wall with natural stone wall and installed some very large trees. Work done right, results as promised, and the price was fair. Highly recommended Red Rose!

Our experience with Luis and his team generally was not favorable. He complained about my being too picky and was very displeased when I realized that the wall he was he was building around the bubbler was too large and when I asked him to remove a layer of stone from it. The wall was not yet finished and could be altered at that time. He gave me a bad time and wondered if I d pay him for the extra work. The bubbler was completed and looked good. We also had stepping stones put in the area. The stepping stones were laid on top of the planting soil and not buried as I d expected. The soil that was placed in the planting beds area by his team was laid haphazardly and not evenly. I asked him to remove a lot of rocks that were there after the pond was removed. He said the soil would cover the rocks. I thought that was not right. He spent about 4 or 5 hours finishing the job while I was not there. When I returned home that evening I found that Luis had gotten my husband to pay him the full amount and was done. He cashed the check immediately upon leaving our home. He told my daughter he would be back on Tuesday when she called him. We called Luis and asked him to come out and finish the job (sink stepping stones and tidy up the soil. He refused and said I though I was a privileged person and he did not want me to call him again. He said my husband had approved the job. He said I would never be satisfied . My husband was badgered into paying him. I believe Luis is a disrespectful person, does not take input well and believed he knew what was right and the customer should acquiesce to him. I also feel he overcharged us in the end, adding 1500 to the original bill. After he read a Yelp review I posted.,he wrote a post saying Iwas a very difficult person and in the future he would be sure to check out his clients more carefully. My daughter and I are left buying more soil (for which he charged me $500) and picking rocks and debris out of the planting beds. I realize I now have no recourse at this time unless the Franchise can do something about it! Carol Laughlin Dissatisfied Customer

Total lack of follow through and very unprofessional. I got an estimate from red rose and I accepted it for the work to be done. I never heard from the company again, despite multiple calls, texts and emails to them asking when they were going to schedule and do my job. They wasted my time and left me hanging. Totally disappointing and unacceptable. UPDATE: Within minutes of posting the negative review above, Luis texted me saying he is sorry for dropping the ball and said he will come do my small job himself and wont charge me. I was grateful to hear this. However, he did go to my house Saturday for about 10 minutes, but did not even do what he and I had talked about. The work done was minimal and seems to have made part of my irrigation issue worse. When I told him about this, he responded well we arent getting paid for this. Yes Luis - because you pretended that you wanted to do the right thing and you offered to come do the job for no charge since you totally dropped the ball in the first place. I gave you a chance to follow through and earn a good review and you totally failed. A total waste of time and disappointing. And how you handled the whole situation says a lot about your character.

Luis is a real gem when it comes to landscaping. He came to give me a quote for some wooden edging removal. In the process he made some very excellent suggestions regarding changing the hard scape around our pool. He even suggested how to change the hard scape for my husband s wheelchair. Luis was timely, a great communicator, and efficient. He gave us an estimate and was able to fix our drainage problem quickly for us (a huge stress relief) and gave regular updates throughout the work. We also uncovered some additional water mid-project and Luis was able to adapt to accommodate the extra water without extending the project timeline.

Lopez Crew is the best, they came out to our Lot in Beaverton and Installed a 350 foot French drain system behind our buildings, we had a horrible drainage issue for years and finally got around to taking care of it. Very happy with Luis and his teams work! They were prompt, worked hard despite the cold, rainy weather and were responsive to questions/requests. They hauled away a fence for us, an old garden bed, placed new pavers and a retaining wall, and built two cedar garden beds with irrigation. We are excited to plant veggies soon, and are very pleased with how everything turned out. When we did have an issue with the amount of gravel, it was no problem for them swing by and eliminate some of it upon request. I would use them again in the future!

The crew arrived on time. After removing shrubs, weeding and dead plants they planted new shrubs and mulch. Also installed crushed gravel on a side path. I am very happy with the Lopez crew. I will definitely call again.

Luis and his crew did an excellent job building a retaining wall and making our yard flat by adding material and sod along with redoingour sprikler. Before, we could barely utilize our yard because it was too steep. Now its completely functional! We also had flagstone installed which looks amazing. They also planted Arborvitae in our front yard too for better privacy which turned out great. We are very pleased with our yard and the value!! Luis and his crew were really helpful and understanding.

My personal rating of Lopez Nursery is A++. I met the owner, Luis, when I stopped in at the nursery. Luis is very personable, genuinely listened to what I wanted help with for the undeveloped backyard of my new home, was very helpful, and reassured me that he could fit my project into their existing schedule. I was further impressed that he sources most of his plants, shrubs, and trees from Tsugawas in Woodland, from which I had obtained stock for many years due to their wide variety and quality. After completing my design and selecting the final 54 plants, shrubs, and trees at Tsugawas, Luis started my project in his original time projection. Luis was on site each day to make sure that all was proceeding as planned, plus suggested slight alternatives that would also save me money. Luis communication and use of his app were great for providing me updates about arrival times, etc. Sergio and Josue did an excellent job, along with Luis direction and help to perfectly bring my low-maintenance design to life!! My project included paver pathways, paver platforms, in-ground irrigation with emitters for each plant/shrub to conserve water consumption, application of landscape fabric to control weeds and unwanted grass, soil improvement, planting, and rubber mulch application. I have received rave compliments from friends and neighbors. This experience was so appreciated because prior to that I had contacted other landscapers who were months out before they could work me in or had issues with me doing the design and selecting the planting materials. I am so glad that I found Lopez Nursery!!!

Luiz and his team at Lopez Nursery and Greenscapes were very professional and did an awesome job. They arrived on time. The job was all the flower beds around our house. They cleared the beds edging the grass back, leveling and sloping the flower beds away from the house. Then laying down landscaping material and edging barrier. Finishing it all with river rock. The team was very friendly. Cleaned up and left the lawn as it was prior to the start. I would definitely recommend Lopez Nursery and Greenscapes to family and friends. Louis and his team managed and completed a major landscaping project for us. We are very happy with their work. Excellent communication, managed all follow-ups promptly, very knowledgeable, expert in the field and offering perfect solutions to some of the landscaping/ground/piping challenges that we were faced with. We highly recommend them to our family and friends.

They had installed a fence to keep my dogs out of the raised garden in the back of my back yard. They installed one fence there and a separate one to keep the dogs out of the area along the side of the house. Both gates failed within about 5-6 months, one gate due to not enough room being left to allow for water swell of the wood (so the gate wouldnt close) and one due to sagging so much that the latch didnt work. Each time, they came out to fix them free of charge. They do a great job, and if something does go wrong, they come right back out to fix it.

There us no one I can depend on more than Lopez Nursery. They are like Family and treat you that way. Louis us ethical and stands on his word for doing a good job! Kathy Van Tries

Luis and his team are amazing. He has great communication as well which really helps track any changes. He tackled the 200 hedge border install and even found a tetherball pole buried decades ago. Im thrilled with how it looks.

The quality and prices they have are both very good. However do not have them plant what you purchase. All 13 of the fairly large bushes we bought were planted very poorly! The holes they dug were way too shallow for their root ball leaving much be of the ball exposed way above grade. They pilled a lot of dirt around the ball to hide how poorly they were planted.

Highest recommendation for this outfit. I used Lopez Nursery for a fountain project. Fair price. Made and met commitments. They did a great job. This is the kind of family business that I want to support.

My yard was a mess of fallen branches after a windstorm. The guys from Lopez nursery showed up on time and did a thorough job of cleaning up my yard. It was a big job and I appreciate their hard work. I would definitely hire them again if I need more work done.

If your looking for a great landscaping experience at fair prices for quality products/customer experience look no further. Luis and his team were great. Communication was clear and prompt. Quoting was accurate. Scheduling was very quick (within days to get on the schedule). They arrived on time. His team was very professional. They completed installing 40+ trees (and drip line) in a tight space in hard/rough ground in a couple hours. He also went over expectations for watering and tree maintenance to prevent potential tree issues. I will definitely be using Luis team for other projects in the future and recommend to friends/family for other landscaping needs.

We purchased arborvitae from Luis and had them plant them. We were able to tag the plants we wanted at the nursery and make all the final arrangements using messenger. The delivery was on time, they added three way soil mix to the planting area and quickly planted. Luis made sure we understood how to water and furtilize before he left. We are extremely happy with the quality of the plants and the service and highly recommend him.

I just moved into a new home and needed privacy for the backyard. I wanted arborvitae but wanted tall plants for instant privacy. I first saw Lopez Nursery on Craigs List. I went to the Nursery just to make sure I knew who I was dealing with. Super nice people. I hired them to install 17, nine foot arborvitae in my backyard. They came today, just as scheduled, at 9:00 am. They brought beautiful plants and planted them for me. A fantastic job. I highly recommend Lopez Nursery. The price was VERY reasonable for the size plants I received and the hard work it takes to install such large plants. I am thrilled and highly recommend them. They are wonderful people and do fantastic work. I plan to go back to the nursery this spring to pick out some additional plants. You will save yourself a ton of money by going to Lopez Nursery. They have their own farm in Sandy, I believe, which eliminates the need for a middle man which will save you money. I highly recommend them if you are looking for plants and especially if you are looking for someone who can deliver and install as well.

We purchased 3 mature pink dogwoods and 2 golden Hinoki cypress trees to be delibered and planted by them. We couldn t be more please with their professionalism and work ethic. I called Lopez Nursery wanting to purchase arborvitae for a privacy fence. They came out so they could give me an estimate for the job. While walking around our property, I realized we had lots of overgrown and out of control shrubs and plants. We purchased 15 8 ft arborvitae for the privacy fence to be installed and also do a full cleanup of our front and back yard. They did an awesome job! Love our yard and the new privacy fence. The cost was very reasonable. The crew was efficient, professional and really nice! I highly recommend them!

Gate locked and we had to wave someone down to even attempt to get in. Outside and at a distance and couldn t even go through gate because 2 kids didn t have a mask but I did. Not walk in/public friendly! But posted open to public.

Great Christmas trees! My super picky mother found a perfect nobel fir 2 minutes out of the car. All pre-cut so you dont have to wander about with a saw to get a good price on a tree. $ 25- $50 where other places are charging $130 for cut trees :p

Absolutely a GEM! I drove by this place every day and finally popped in. What an amazing find, locally owned by really nice family. Prices are very competitive and trees are really healthy. I bought 8 Leyland Cypress trees and a Japanese maple, will definitely be back. You have a happy customer. For a reasonable fee they deliver and even install the trees.
