I recently purchased sod from this store. The transaction was quick. The lady at the register was friendly and courteous. The sod was green and moist. I’m so glad that this store was recommended by neighbors on the Nextdoor app.
I've been coming here for years and the staff and people are extremely friendly. The woman at the main counter was extremely nice, always educates me on what I should do and has never steered me wrong and how to take care of my grass. Today she also gave me a free pound of grass because they had misbagged in the barn area and she didn't charge me. I insisted I'm paying and she said it's our gift.
This rating is for the lady you had in the loader this morning. The one yelling at me about her imaginary line she has when dumping in the brush pile. She was pretty rude. I have been using your waste yard for years and never had anyone yell at me for backing up to a pile. I’ve spent thousands at your business even when I could go elsewhere to dump for free, because I do appreciate the fair pricing of your materials, but that lady needs to learn how to talk to people.
We had a retaining wall built. Normally I cringe hiring contractors. NOT these guys, they were AWESUM. They came in, did the job, knew what they were doing.got it done On time. Would gladly recommend them.
I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. They were very fair in their pricing and promptly got us on the schedule. They respected our property and did an amazing job. Their attention to detail is impressive. I could not be happier. Everyone I dealt with was polite and friendly. I will never use anyone else for any landscaping needs I have.

YOU WILL learn to comply with state regulations Edit: I just dropped my 5 star review to a one star review for quite a few reasons including violation of state regulatory laws. Misdig is required when breaking ground, esp around utilites. November is a TERRIBLE time to pour concrete, which you would KNOW if you were concrete workers, not land scapers. The owner was extremely rude on the phone when i asked questions, and brought the violations and lack of knowledge to his attention. They gave a false sense of security to the customer assuring them they're professionals, but gave every reason to the educated to believe they are only after money with zero ethics, and zero professionalism involved. You aren't flat workers, and your practices have now been found questionable at best...original review below As the owner of a small landscape company myself. I can't believe the 3-man team you have in Presidential Estates hudsonville right now. I've seen a lot of grades in my day, but rhese 3? Their work is exquisite. The 35 years worked foreman knows his skid well, very smooth and very precise movement, no crazy tracks everywhere, and he's conscious of his tredbelts on pavement, with easy turns. The 18 years worked guy is quick and efficient. He knows where to put his material, so there's no double handling, and he gets it done. The 5 years worked guy is a boss with that landscape rake. Nice smooth rows, and all junk cleared with no crazy waves left behind, nor footprints. Definitely left an impression with me. From what i hear, they're paid fair as well. I hope every crew you run pays as much attention to fine detail as these 3. I became a landscape business owner because past experiences forced under paid slop work. Companies that always value quantity over quality and numbers over members. I've seen them struggling since '20, too big and too rushed with no ❤ for the workers or the craft, and i see them continuing to struggle. Your employees ❤ for the craftsmanship in the trade and the companies value in them will be your win. They exhibit patience and persistance. I'm clueless as to what you charged the customer, but I'm led to believe it's fair based on what I've investigated. I applaud your company through to the encore. My company is much smaller, but in quality, we see you. Keep up the great work. If the load gets too heavy, let us know.

Unimpressed with management
Landscape Impressions has a great supply of trees, shrubs, rock, soil, and mulch. Their expertise is extensive, and the staff are always friendly and patient. As a professional gardener myself, I can attest to these facts.

Great place to shop for landscape ideas
They sell top notch plants, your buying quality, great place to get your top soil. Friendly service.... Trees, rocks, you can drop off your yard waste, they dont want any trash in there, its all recycled...I bought some flat rocks to put my planters on, they are a game changer you can mow around it no weeds make it so you can mow it will settle in the ground...
I dont know who the lady was that answered the phone but she was very rude and disrespectful and cut me off. I thought it was kind of funny that she acted in such an unprofessional manner at a business. I would highly recommend contacting other landscaping companies who are more than happy to take business
These guys were in my neighborhood doing some driveways so I got in contact with them. I was about to sign the contract to have these guys pour my patio, until I went down the street and seen their work. Dodged a bullet. Terrible work. They use sand as a base instead of gravel, which is amateur to put it kindly. The picture with the cracked driveway has a 4 inch hole underneath where all the sand washed out. They also waited over 2 days to sawcut, which is a ticking time bomb for cracks.
They did an amazing job, LOVE LOVE LOVE how our stone landscaping turned out. This company was one of the few we found that would remove our current mulch, redo the barriers, and place the new stone/gravel. We felt the price was extremely far for all the work they did. Our project start date did get pushed back a little further than planned, but honestly we didn t mind because their quality of work speaks for itself. The team was very professional and respectful of our property, being mindful of not making tracks form their machinery in our yard. They were very responsive and spoke with us multiple times during the two day project on how we thought things were turning out, and shared helpful advice on how to maintain the areas where the stone met grass to keep that nice clean line. High recommend them we already have a neighbor or two calling to get quotes as they themselves were highly impressed with their quality of work.
I do not recommend this company. Their finished product is going to take a lot more work and $$$$ to fix. It looks like they comment on all of the 5 star posts; lets see if they make this right and I can update this review. Our backyard was overgrown and full of massive thorn bushes so we had them come clear out everything and lay down grass. They scheduled us for 3 months out, which seems to be common, but then didnt set the actual date they would arrive so we woke up to a bulldozer in the backyard. All of that wouldve been acceptable had that been the extent of it. Unfortunately, they broke several of my sprinkler heads (eventually, they replaced them with a cheap version that broke immediately) and left me with patchy grass and mud pits. They didnt pack down any of the new dirt so it is lumpy, soft, and slanted. The space is no more usable than when it was filled with thorn bushes - total waste of money.
Landscape Impressions is the best. Called them an hour ago and they delivered 10 yards of sand right away and dumped it by the beach. Great service by then and the delivery driver!

I currently live in a rental, while looking for a home to purchase. This company was supposed to move my shed when they did the lawn and soil grading. I specifically told my property manager that I wanted an appointment before they performed the work, so I could instruct them on where I want the new shed placed. I was concerned they may arrive without an appointment so I called Landscape Impressions directly. I gave them my name, phone number and address. I told them that I wanted to be called prior to their arrival so we can discuss options on shed placement. The guy in the office said that would be no problem. I came home on my lunch break a few days later and saw the landscape crew had moved my shed, directly in front of my bedroom windows! No one had called me prior to their arrival as asked. I told the workers the shed was not in a suitable place. Not only did it block my entire view from my room but the suns heat would radiate from the asphalt shingles and into my windows. I had to return to work but asked them to please move it to the other location. When I got home from work, they never moved it again. Left it sitting in front of my windows. I called them and the property manager a few times to ask them to put it where I needed it to be. None of them were willing to come back and move it. Landscape Impressions should have called me and should have been more accommodating. I know when my permanent home is ready, I will never hire them. It s sad that you can t trust a professional company to perform a common sense job, without having to babysit them. It would have been nice if they at least contacted me again to let me know if they d be able to move it and even if there would be an additional cost. They just sat my requests aside because they just don t care.
BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT HAVE YOUR MULCH DELIVERED THEY DO NOT DELIVER THE AMOUNT YOU PAY FOR! We have done business with Landscape Impression and have spent a lot of money with them for years, with no problems, however this year they don t seem to care about their customers in anyway. I have had a couple of issues this year with their plants and shrubs being very small and overpriced AND not making it - with a to bad for you shrug of the shoulders response. (Bought and replaced the same plants at Harder & Warner - for less- and they are beautiful!) Last straw having paid for delivery of 5 yards of mulch and received half of what I ve received in the past years with no effort to rectify the situation but a that s 5 yards honey response. Harder & Warner here I come for ALL my business - I m done with Landscape Impressions.
Lanscape Impressions always has everything I need for my garden and yard needs. Everyone is helpful and very knowledgeable. Ive been shopping here for large order of topsoil. They will deliver if needed for a small fee. Great service.
Tried getting a free quote but they kept rescheduling me on the day of the appointment. They lost a customer.
Designed and built retaining walls to replace existing wooden walls that had rotted. They were very professional, did the work within the time frame they said they would, cleaned up daily, and the result was fantastic!
Jennifer said she could draw up a sketch for me based on my pictures of my house. Wow! She did an excellent job. We both picked out flowers and a bush. Explained to me how to plant them and watering procedures. She went way above. I had asked if she ever planted before and she explained that she went to school for this. Thank you Jennifer you did an amazing job.
