Will Not Use This Company Again - I have used this sprinkler service twice, both times the service has been sub-par. The first time the service person arrived later than the scheduled time, was incompetent causing 2 sprinkler heads to be blown off, I had to replace both sprinkler heads due to this. This year, 2024 I called a head of time and requested the sprinkler blow out to be done and was told I was on the list. When the person finally arrived it was late into the blowout season and after the line had frozen, which at that point the employee did not seem to know what to do. I had to assist in the process by providing warm water to unfreeze the line so the blowout could be completed. The employees that arrived to blow out the sprinklers both times were filthy dirty and proved to be incompetent at the job. Not to mention the price was more than quoted when I received the bill.
Worst landscaping crews ever. half the time work paid for does not get done correctly and they make a mess in other peoples yards that they are not working on.
Best Practices are not in play at this company. The HOA hired them and they use grass killer to border common area fences. Unfortunately it also poisons everything on the other side of the fence, grass, plants, vegetables. Try using a weed whacker, takes longer, cost more but is less destructive.
Our Star HOA (Lake Pointe) has had 3 different landscape companies since 2019. In 2024, we contracted with Blue Ribbon. Our sub has never looked so good. Our grass is green, and they do a great job of adjusting sprinklers, weed abatement, and regular fertilization. We are getting positive feedback from our homeowners, and I appreciate Blue Ribbons' professionalism and commitment to helping our sub look it's best.
Adan and the team at Blue Ribbon installed a 3 post fence for us. Everything was professional and communicative. I am very happy with the outcome of the job.

Finally decided to speak out after being completely ghosted by Blue Ribbon Landscape (I have no reason to give 1 star - 3 stars seemed appropriate since when we DID get to speak to people, they were very kind & friendly). They came highly recommended by two people we spoke with. We are completely mystified. They came out to our house, surveyed & wrote down our landscaping needs, and were super friendly. We expressed we weren't in a hurry, so it was ok to let us know, knowing landscapers are so busy. But, alas, I waited over a month before calling, and called a total of about 3 times over a couple of months to see if there was news, a bid, something. I tried emailing a few times, too (I don't think annoyingly so, nor was I ever rude or mean). Nothing. No response -- no "I'm sorry, we just don't have time," "we don't like you," nothing. When I called, though, the gals in the office were super friendly, and I appreciated that. I'm not here to bash their business at all - I'm just expressing deep disappointment that we weren't able to work with them - we are actually just very sorry it didn't work out for whatever reason.

They had a yard sale on Saturday and I bought some pavers. What a great deal. This company is wonderful to work with. I just wish they worked with the public on a regular basis.

I m done with this place. Avoid. They tried to make it right, hired on more people, and I m back to where we started. They charged me $7,000 for sprinklers and yard. We didn t want sprinklers, and they did part of them anyways and are charging us. We literally proved to them we didn t want it, didn t ask for it, and their project manager confirmed this. I told them we wanted $3500 worth of work and we re quoted that for our grass, and their updated bill is $5500 this time. I can t afford this! We told you that from the first minute. There were no secrets and we told them multiple times over, but they won t hear me out. I ll pay what I was quoted, but this company has been a disaster for us. It s not worth it. I tried and wanted and we rechecked and the staff LITERALLY AGREED WITH ME and I m still getting $2,000 extra. 5/11/2022 Despite coming to terms with their owner, I m still getting bills. I ve overpaid my $3500 request, and am in the hole about $5200+ And still getting billed! But nobody can produce payment records besides me. Strange.

I m sure they were hired by the HOA to do something but I m not sure what, never came to my door to let me know what was going on while they came in and out of my back yard making noise and blocking my driveway for hours when they could have parked in designated parking on the opposite side of the street. Doesn t seem very professional to me.

Poor communication
We have used Blue Ribbon for several years now and have had many great experiences from setting up new sprinkler systems to repairing old, general lawn upkeep to full tree and shrub trimming as well as landscape design and construction. The owner, Hans, does his very best at taking care of his customers and we appreciate that! Use these guys with full confidence!

Its very good company
Hans and his team put in our landscaping a few years ago. They also maintain the landscaping and our very large trees plus mow for us once a week. They are all friendly, professional and quickly respond to our questions. We highly recommend Blue Ribbon to our family and friends.
Blue Ribbon is very professional. They always respond if I have a question, and their crew is very responsive if I have any issues or questions. They always keep their schedule and follow through with other services as requested and contracted. Im never in the dark about what the plan is. My wife is always happy when she comes home from work and the grounds look great and well groomed. You pay for what you get.

We have enjoyed our first year of service with Blue Ribbon (of SW Idaho). Theyve done a good job identifying and resolving issues (e.g., bill-bug) and making it nice again. Workers are always fast and friendly. Early feature/billing issues caused by a late sign-on were resolved by always-helpful office staff. We (and they) just had to be patient until things got squared away. Looking forward to Year2!
Ive been using Blue Ribbon for quite some time now. I enjoy that they are always willing to help me make my dreams and ideas come to fruition. With planned services and treatments, cleanups & trims, my yard ALWAYS looks amazing. Their work on my water feature, yard landscaping & tree arrangement, to a huge Oasis build around a new pool, have all been phenomenal. All scheduled appointments have email reminders, and a later email detailing completed work. Blue Ribbon goes well outside the boundaries of necessity to help make their customers happy and pleased.
This was our first time having to hire out for a big project. I went by reviews and wanting to support a local company. Carlos and his crew did a great job! They were on time and always cleaned up each day. It came out exactly how we wanted it!

As a subdivision we went with BLUE RIBBON to decorate our entrance s We received many quotes and were kinda going in blind. Jim at BLUE RIBBON really put in the effort to keep in touch with us and make sure we were happy, start to finish!
Best landscapers in town
As incompetent as I have ever seen in a business. Want to blame anyone or anything they can for their inability to do job correctly. There is a whole lot more to landscape and maintenance then mowing some grass and planting a couple trees. These guys apparently do not realize that.
Work that they do seems very good. Communication with people living in area where work is being done... deplorable. Very dissapointed that they could be so bothered and rude when dealing with a resident living in one of their jobsites. Word of mouth seems important in todays job market...

This company does a great job at both landscaping and customer service. They keep me informed at all times and I really appreciate it. They are proactive in the field and I can count on their expertise.
I have not hired them personally but I would like to share was I saw. I was sitting in my car in a park eating my lunch. Two gentleman from Blue Ribbon Landscape were mowing and trimming. There was a lot of trash in the parking lot, on of the guys picked it all up and put it in the back of his truck. It was nice to see that he noticed it and took care of it instead of leaving it. If I ever need landscaping I will definitely be giving them a call. I feel like this was going above and beyond.
We hired Blue Ribbon to install a paver patio and custom build and install a 16 x 20 sized pergola attached to our house. The communication was excellent, always able to get a hold of them and get quick response! The quality of craftsmanship was also excellent! We have received so many compliments from neighbors and friends. The work crew was clean and respectful and the kind of workers you enjoy having around for a few weeks. We did experience some delays in starting date, but weather did play some part in that. Truly, the project turned out better than we expected and we now love spending time in our backyard. Thank you so much to Richard and the Blue Ribbon crew!

Tough to beat these guys. Blue Ribbon did an amazing job with my landscaping. I knew they were good at their job, but they still managed to exceed my expectations. If you want a cheap service to do cheap work, dont call these guys. They only do high quality stuff, but they still do it for a reasonable price!
Ive had Blue Ribbon and Hans (the owner) do various jobs for me over the years and have always been satisfied with the work they do. Very professional, friendly crew and high quality work. We had them do our entire yard this year and it has never looked better. The only (very minor) complaint I have is they can sometimes be late or slow to respond to calls or emails. I would give them five stars if they improved on this.
