They have no respect for other people s property. Their employees have little regard of neighboring homes when they service their customer. A few examples I ve came across with their terrible service: scalping my yard and blowing the grass towards my shed. I ve worked and seen many lawn care companies. Small ones even. They do better work than this company and at least most of them have respect of others.

Blake Schmidt of ACE Outdoor Services did an amazing job finding a buried drain spout pop-up valve that I had been searching, off & on, for 15 years. Every time I tried to find it using a metal rod I would only find rocks. Blake did it in a matter of a few minutes.

Amazing team, worked on our patio a while back, along with some other jobs. Always quality work.

March 19th at approximately 5:15 one of there drivers had a shovel bounce out of there trailer and land on miller rd. You could see all of there rakes and shovels were thrown in the trailer not laid down in the trailer making a unsecured load. Hope the person who hits the shovel contacts me I got it on my dashcam.

Throwing salt all over my car because apparently It s necessary to drive 1 foot away from my car while salting a parking lot. My car was not the only car he came extremely close to. Will be checking for scratched or chipped paint and you guys will be paying for repairs if there are any.

My condo association has contracted ACE for snow plowing services. After the snow storm on 3/3 into 3/4-they plowed our subdivision using a subcontractor. This subcontractor hit my boyfriends LEGALLY parked car. Several attempts were made to have the situation rectified. ACE & the subcontractor did not return phone calls or meet with him to examine damages. There were numerous complaints from neighbors regarding the shoddy work that day. It s unfortunate I have to tolerate their services as it s out of my hands. Things happen-but the complete disregard and rudeness of the staff & owner are despicable.

Teach your people to drive with respect. Tailgating roof lights flashing for no reason. No snow removal going on this morning. West bound on I69 at 715am this morning. Total jackwagon driving one of your trucks.

I live in an apartment complex where everyone has a front yard. For the past couple of years have left me and my neighbors extremely unhappy with the service provided. Their work was done quickly and was very shoddy. They took no pride in their work and it showed. For the past two weeks the company has sent out Gerald Crawford and Josh Martin. They take pride in their work and it shows. What a great team.

Yes thank you ace for cutting a residential lawn from 830 am still going at 11am in the rain. Some people dont mind hearing the mower when they work 2nd shift. smdh

They come at all hours in the evening. As late as 8pm. They have no respect for the people in the neighborhood. Blocking driveways, dropping the trailer door making a LOUD noise, & making a mess with grass trimming.

One of their trucks blew the red light I was sitting at on South Blvd and Centerpoint. Did not even try to slow down in slippery conditions with a plow on the front of the truck. Not cool.

Plowed all the Snow From the Business off Swartz St, Near Panda Express all Into the Road. Left us Residents to Struggle through his Huge Snow pile. What a Joke for a Company s Employee Work Ethics. Called and complained to the Woman Manger in the office and she is about as half brained as the Guy that Left all the Snow upon Swartz St. Said she CANT DO NOTHING ABOUT IT cause she DONT CARE

I DO NOT recommend this company!!!!! This is my first time using their services. The only reason they are getting one star is because I have to put it to leave a review. The lady who answers the phone is extremely rude and disrespectful she makes me not want to call the company again. She rushed me off the phone, didn t handle my issue, and she talk so smart mouthed. They DID NOT mow my lawn correctly they did a awesome job and a rush job. I asked that the people who cut it not come back again and the lady was so rude about my complaints instead of just handling it. DO NOT USE THEM if u want good customer service.

Asked for a quote, they took our credit card information to open an account. Said they would call back in 2 days to schedule an appointment. Another company mowed our lawn 3 days later that we called prior to and set up an appointment with the day after another company mowed our lawn Ace then mowed our grass without calling us back to set something up. We didn t authorize the mowing and were just looking to gather quotes. They wouldn t honor anything back to my girlfriend who helped set this up. The response was that s how it works So just be aware of that if you re looking for a quote and they ask for your credit card info. We were told we would be called back 2 days to schedule something and proceed after a quote. But they just showed up and mowed the lawn a day after it was literally already mowed.

Have always had problems. They have broken many things in my yard and have poor communication.

I am only giving one star because I have to in order to review. I called 4 weeks ago about when they would be doing my weed and feed which is typically applied around Memorial Day or so. Well they still haven t showed up and now it s the end of June. I didn t get much help from the person answering the phone either. It s out of her hands when she takes the message. I should not have to beg for the yard to be done. Funny part is they always want to offer a discount if you pay up front no way would I ever do that. It s almost July and they have been her once. Not happy

This review is not on their quality of work but how they drive ... 11/20 at 910 am by bishop airport. Cut me off the road I was doing 60 mph and that was not fast enough . Two ace salt trucks speeding to put salt down. Not speeding like 5 over but I was doing 60 and they blew by me after cutting me off. I am over it ace drivers pull out of their lot dont care about anyone else . Like I said I never used them for service this bad review is how they drive. . I hope the owner sees this. And has a long talk to his employees. This could cost the owner his business one day

When snow plowing our neighborhood ( its in an association) they plowed the drive way, but hit the garage door so hard the door doesnt work and car is stuck inside. No one came to the door to let us know, only found out when went outside to leave.

Very professional and give good rates for lawn services. I would highly recommend setting lawn care to a schedule, you get an overall discount than doing one offs. They are going to clear out our yard and I will take picture after it.

Not impressed to say the least with this company! The office staff are the best thing going on for ACE Super kind, helpful and respectful. 2 weeks in a row they didnt show up to mow the lawn like they were scheduled too. Rain was not a factor! Im tired of calling the office and those poor girls making excuses for their careless crews. Sad thing is they lost 3 customers all within a month because of their poor service. Both of my neighbors signed up after me and have canceled too! ACE is a joke. Hire a local high-schooler....they are more dependable.

Not the least bit impressed. Should ve read the reviews first. They are such a huge company so we trusted they would do a good job. We needed temporary lawn services while our tractor was under repair. Used them for a total of 3 times and each time our yard looked worse than the week before. They are clearly in a rush as the guys practically run with the push mower, missing strips of grass. The driveway was left covered in grass clippings because they didn t blow it off. They didn t weed whack around the outside perimeter of the fence and the areas they did do still have tall grass standing. They missed the small bit of side yard we have, between us and the neighbor. They re also super inconsistent they never came the same day of the week. Weather was not a factor during these 3 visits!! The only good thing was the timely response by the office staff when inquiring about their services. We will NOT be using them again.

This makes me sad to post because many businesses are struggling, but at the same time I feel obligated to inform others of the potential pitfall of out to the owner and he told me he would send someone out to look at it. That pershiring Ace Outdoor Services for a landscaping project. In 2016 I hired Ace to install 2 large boulder retaining walls; a flagstone pathway around the side of the home with stone steps leading down to the back, basement of the home; and another flagstone walkway traversing the front of the home with additional stone steps leading around the other side of the home. I spent over $15,000 with Ace in all. Within weeks of the installation the fill used between the pavers was lifting and crumbling away. The owner Aaron told me he didn t know what happened but did have a crew come out and replace it. The The only problem was that he did not have them replace it along the front of the house. And within a few more weeks the issue occurred there as well. I did not complain at that time as I should have, because we weren t really using that walkway and I never believed it would get as bad as it did. Shortly after they redid the field between the flagstone, the 5 foot high boulder retaining wall collapsed during a rain storm. I again reached on looked at it and then replaced the boulders. However, within another month the wall collapsed a second time. Aaron, the owner, came out to look at it this time. He explained that when it was installed they did not put in a drain and he would have them come out to put in a drain and we do it. This was done and I believed this would be the end of it. Last year I noticed the boulders are now all misaligned and one of the boulders along the bottom even popped out. The wall is slowly collapsing again. I had three other landscaping companies come out to look at the damage and every single one of them told me the walls were never properly installed. Every single one of them told me the way they were put in would never last and had they been installed properly they d last at least 20 years or more. In speaking to these landscapers I also learned the flag stone pathways or else I ll never properly installed. There should never be a gap greater than 1 inch between any of the flag stones, but our flag stones have upwards of 8 to 10 inch gaps and in some areas the fill dirt spans an entire yard stick wide. There is more to the story, but there is simply not enough room to write down all the details of everything that was done incorrectly. Needless to say, the appearance of the job is abysmal, the quality beyond poor, and now the owner won t respond. I reached out to him in the hopes that he would redo properly what should ve been done correctly the first time. I was not, I repeat I was not, asking for this to be done at no cost. I was definitely willing to pay, I was just hoping he would do it at a reduced rate. For me to fix everything Ace Outdoor did incorrectly is going to cost me over $11,000!! I can never recommend a company who will take that much of your money and never look back. They do not install boulder walls properly, and provide sub par skills in installing walkways.

For the second time they have mowed down my garden, I have flowers, basil and mint growing in front of my apartment and after looking around and seeing that they did not cut down other peoples flower arrangements. I realize Im either being targeted or they just carelessly chop away. Very sad, extremely disappointed Ill make sure no one uses them if they ask me. My produce destroyed and my flowers are decapitated. I even laid out glass containers with dirt and plants growing out of them inside of my garden bed to make sure that they didnt go into the garden bed and cut it, but when I arrived home my glass container was knocked over, the dirt out of it and everything was chopped down.... like why!?!?!

Never received estimate that was promised in 2-4 days. Very unprofessional!! Tell me if youre too busy and dont want my business. Would never recommend this company.

Very disappointed with our overall experience. We had them hydroseed our property last summer and have since grown a very thin, patchy lawn that doesn t even extend to our full property line. We have complained numerous times. It takes weeks to hear back and months for any type of progress. (We still have not seen any.)

We got the worst mowing job ever. They damaged our newly built deck, which will cost us a bundle to get repaired. They left big patches around flower beds. No words. Save yourself a lot of grief and avoid this company!

Would not use services from a place that drivers tend to shove people around on the highway because theyre in a hurry. After I was done shoving me around out the highway he proceeded to do this to the guy in front of me then to miles up the road he got off the highway I personally would not use services that employ people like this if youre like this on the road youd be like this in my yard

I was referred to this company by a landscaping company my employer does business with. - I called on a Sunday, no voicemail to leave a message. - I messaged their Facebook page the next day, Monday morning and an automated response told me someone would get with me. - Three days go by and I message them again. They responded and asked for my address WHICH IS LITERALLY ON THE SAME ROAD AS THEM. They said someone would come out the next day to do a quote. - I messaged them the day they were supposed to come out asking what time because we were going to be home. No response... - Messaged again asking when they came out could they fit us in to mow as well? No response. - I called their number to try to actually speak with someone...no answer. - Later on that night, I messaged A THIRD TIME asking if anyone was able to make it out to do the quote....STILL NO RESPONSE. - Today, I messaged again saying apparently they dont want any business...so I would just suggest going somewhere else.

Ace services has a friendly staff. We get our lawn serviced from spring to fall. During this time period they do a good job. The only negative we have is that they dont cut behind our fence.

Longtime customer for many years. Easy to recommend. Their service is very good. Most importantly, if I have a concern, it is handled promptly. For example, last Winter, after our morning plow, our sidewalks were severely drifted over by the afternoon. One phone call and we were all set. The sidewalks were cleaned again and salted by 5 PM. Any company can have an issue, no one is perfect. Unfortunately, it is too easy to complain about one issue, forgetting about how many great days came before it. For me, it is how the issue is handled that really sets Ace Outdoor apart.

Ive been using this service for years at my place if business. Only issues come from the fact that the property here is not easily defined so when I new crew comes in there are some hiccups. Of which are addressed and taken care of quickly. I also appreciate the way they change direction everytime the mow. In addition to that they also do or snow removal. Always here ahead of the staff to make sure they are safe with clean salted parking lots and sidewalks.

We have used Ace Outdoor at Glengarry Park Apartments for several years for snow removal and this past year for lawn care. They are very professional and do a great job in both capacities! Our sales rep. Ryan is always on top of things and makes sure we are well taken care of. We highly recommend them!

Working with Ace has been a pleasure. Chad is so easy to work with. Whenever I contacted him with questions he responded very quickly. I always felt that I was a valued customer. He is knowledgeable, listened to what I was asking in regard to landscaping around the new pool. They did a beautiful job. He made a suggestion that I would not have thought of, and would have been a problem for me at completion. I would definitely hire them , and will as I have another smaller project for next year.

They treat there guys like nothing call them at all time and everyday of the week. No matter the weather. They had to close down a store because of underpaid workers as he s raking in the money and can t give his guys a good pay to do there dirty work. 7 days a week and on 2 week pay for hey bring in only $300 a week. There quick to hand out your. Money to you and charge you 10% if not more. If you work here wright down your hours and watch your back. I was threaten on the job and at the shop.

This company I have had nothing but issues with. On two instances, They have stolen from us. Once a pack of cigarettes off the front porch no disciplinary action was taking this was in the summer months. All that we were told was we will talk to them. And just today they took our snow shovel from our porch because they broke theirs. Was the explanation I was given. I do not recommend these people to anyone. Lock up your stuff when there around.

1 week before Superbowl they plowed on Sunday night and cut my drive thru cable that lets employees know when someone is in The driver thru. They didnt leave a note or acknowledge that it even happened instead they burried the cut cable,Ive called multiple times left messages ,finally my building owner spoke to them finally I got a call back from Eric almost 3 weeks later, but was told its not their fault. Lots of others snow removal companies out there forget about ACE OUTDOOR SERVICES!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, BE CAREFUL TERRIBLE COMPANY TO BE A CUSTOMER FOR!!!!

Terrible employees, non stop complaining while on the job and badmouting other companieswith a much higher rep. Employees will most likely steal anything you have on your front porch, snoe plowers cant seem to stay withing the bounds they marked themselves, dealing with broken spinklers and ruined landscaping in the spring. I live in a trailer park so the park has ace mow the lawns if you dont before the deadline to mow your own lawn I came home to late to do it and they left my lawn looking atrocious!! Shredded pop cans all over my yard I have a tote that I put my pop cans on my porch and (some must have blown off) I didnt realize that some did.. burn marks everywhere!! Big random circles in my yard they didnt even mow all of my lawn either the whipping was terrible also mow hawks and patches too from mowing this is the 3rd time they have messed up my yard I have taken plenty of pictures to show proof too.Most definitely taking my business to green country lawn and landscape when needed .. they have done my yard before and they do a wayyyy better job!

Where do I start? Ace is not our service provider, and will never be due to their disrespect for neighboring properties. First, they have mowed into our lawn (we are a neighbor of one of their contracted properties) by 10+ feet, we called and complained. Next service date, they came over FURTHER! Even coming over our bush line and into the next section of grass in OUR yard. Called and complained again, spoke to the regional (or whatever hes called), only to have the encroaching happen worse today! What is wrong with you? Do you have no respect for other peoples property or concerns? If you respect your neighbors, DO NOT hire this company. Shame on you, Ace.
