Companies like these are a scam! We recently moved into a new home and realized the previous owner didn t cancel their service. You would think the company would check in with the actual owner. Also the summary left at our front door goes over the products applied (total volume and SQFT). I checked our cameras, the Specialist barely sprayed the front yard and didn t even go into the backyard. We know better than to use companies like these but what we witnessed today just proved, you re paying for a scam!

The app is great and shows you right where they are and when theyve arrived. They text ahead to let you know theyre coming. We arent 100% satisfied with the health of our yard, but have a dog who is part of the issue. My husband also doesnt like running the water system to water the yard all the time, which probably makes it get too dry and could be the issue.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have worked with TruGreen for a couple years now. I have my lawn regularly serviced and aerated. About a year ago, they offered to do mosquito services which I said yes to. Since it didn t do any good (I was still eaten alive by mosquitoes) I canceled shortly after, 1 year ago. They apologized for me being unhappy, said they would do 1 more service free of charge for me. Fast forward the next summer, I receive a call saying that I owe 200 dollars in mosquito services, and that unknown to me, they were still coming to do those mosquito services! Even though I cancelled, they are now still hounding me to pay for services I declined. They said I should be charged because by saying yes to the courtesy service I was still signed up. So now I am to pay for a service I did not ask for and did not work. Oh, and the lawn services only meh. I still have crabgrass and weeds so not much improvement from when I signed up.

Highly Disappointed. Took membership last year for lawn care. Lawn was perfect but with some weeds. I see the big patch of dead grass area now at backyard this season. They are asking for grub control and reseeding. Things could have been better, if identified before itself when they had a visit before winter. No appointment availability soon.

Paid upfront for the season and they showed up Twice. Spent countless hours on the phone trying to get someone to show up. Even went to their office to get someone to perform the service we paid in advance for. Would NOT recommend this company. Chaz from the Burnsville location does not know how to run a business. POOR COMMUNICATION! POOR SERVICE! I would STAY AWAY from True Green.

I dont think actually ever service the yard. Multiple times they have come and completed the yard in 5 to 10 minutes max. Today they stated they rang my doorbell which was a lie. I have a ring camera and no evidence of this. I saw them go to the next house and they were in and out again in 5 minutes. Our yard has not improved at all probably because we have gotten 0 actual treatment to the grass. Complete scam! will be switching companies.

Nakita extremely helpful! There was a misunderstanding on the service I asked for, and she was able to correct all my service requests, provide me with a refund, and do so in a timely manner. I cannot thank Nakita enough. Michael Z was also extremely responsive and helpful in correcting the error. Thank you to both of them! They are both wonderful employees who deserve a pay raise!

Trugreen is terrible with sick trees! We have been loyal customers for over 20 years. Over the past 3 years we have been very unhappy. Both my husband and I have been communicating regularly with customer service and even branch managers, but nothing has been done. In the meantime, our poor flowering crab trees look terrible and are struggling with fungus. No one at Trugreen seems to care and none of the staff that come to our home know anything about or even carry the proper products to treat our trees. We will be taking our business elsewhere and do not recommend this company to anyone needing help with trees.

True Green is reliable and does a good job controlling the weeds and keeping my lawn looking nice.

Really havent been happy with the service. The first time we received service the guy only did the front lawn when we paid before both the front and the back. The second visit they did do both but I watched the guy only do about a third of the back, basically skipped where we really needed it.

Seems like it was a long time between applications.

Service tech explained what I need to do to my grass in this drought situation, and with the treatment he put on my lawn. He was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Customer service in Burnsville is poor. The person that answered the phone did not know what is going on. It sounded like they were working off someone home.

I wonder how good our lawn could be if Trugreen was on time. This past Monday I received a message that I requested a schedule change, which I did not. Now today Wednesday, I received a message that a landscaping crew was at my house so they couldnt do the service. Once again there was no landscaping crew, they just sent a message that our service would be rescheduled.

FIROMSA provided excellent service while ensuring maximum coverage for mosquito protection/coverage. I highly recommend that he be dispatched in the future to provide my service.

I planted a new lawn in the fall before using them with hydroseeding. I seeded extra in the spring to fill in some missed spots and had a thick lawn starting in the late spring. TruGreen came by offering weed services for my new lawn and stated the services would not harm the relatively new seed. I pushed back the start of their service one month because I just didnt feel very confident in their knowledge and I should have never agreed to it. After the first application I lost nearly half my lawn. It dried up and hasnt grown all season now. It should be noted I even have an irrigation system and was running it daily-every other day now in the morning and night. Heres the frustrating part. TruGreens 100% guarantee was them crediting back the cost of one of their applications and then giving me a couple extra bags of seed to repair my lawn with. So Im now expected to reseed half of my lawn again which would include buying more topsoil and using more than the 2 little bags of seed they provided. Also, I have had multiple applications done at this point that the cost refund never addressed. I would not recommend them for lawns that have not had multiple years to establish from new seed, regardless of their promises or guarantees.

The value of having a professional doing the necessary lawn treatment applications is great. I dont have to think about when and what should be done. The lawn technician also leave lawn observations after service is completed.

Hands down the worst lawn service experience I ve ever had. I had to call every 4-6 weeks to make sure someone was coming out. The last two services they just no-called, no-showed. When they did come, which was sparingly, weeds and mushrooms grew within the week. We are canceling our service and demanding the money back immediately. Trust me, go somewhere else and save yourself the time and money!

Called them to give me a quote for lawn aeration. Sales guy was very high pressure and lowered the price 2 times to get me to pay then and there over the phone. Had them come out a few weeks later while I was at work. I seen their machine smoke a belt on my ring camera and they gave up and left nearly 1/4 of my yard untouched. Not planning on using them again. Edit: A year later, we are out of the country on vacation and I see a Trugreen crew through my ring cameras, trespassing on our property to perform an aeration. There was zero notice or confirmation that they would be showing up. I did NOT sign up for recurring service. A day later there is a charge from Trugreen on my account for the service. This is a totally unacceptable business practice. Lowering my rating from 3 to 1 star!

We had a bad experience with the application of granular fertilizer. The tech didnt apply the required amount of product to our lawn. I contacted True Green and explained the situation. They sent another tech out a few days later, no charge. Very happy.

Been using TruGreen Burnsville since May 2016 and they maintain our lawn Beautifully. The staff is kind and they do a great job each application. All we do is cut, edge and irrigate. Grub control, fertilizers and weed maintenance is in the contract. Highly recommended if you want Beauty and simplicity with the labor reduction on your end.

This is the worst place ever very unprofessional. Honestly save yourself the time and money never ever work for or get services for tru green. My brother worked there for almost a month and still hasnt seen a single pay check. What they do is illegal

They have an aggressive sales team but their services are the worst. They send inexperienced kids to perform the applications. They skip applications regularly and sometimes don t even perform the service and just put the yard sign and leave. They re unbelievably unprofessional. I bought their services despite my friend suggesting not to because the first service was good. But that s all it is. They send an experienced person for the first time and once you re reeled in, they ll ignore you as a customer.

Over the last few years, I keep using TruGreen even though I am unhappy with their service. I will no longer be using TruGreen. They continue to skip applications & my yard has weeds due to this. I pre-payed during the winter ( as I always do ) in hopes to having the company be prepared to treat my yard to its fullest. Do not use TruGreen.

Horrible communication and service. We called TruGreen and ONLY asked for them to come take a look at a tree in our backyard that seemed to have a pest infestation and only do a quick diagnosis so we can decide what we wanted to do before receiving any service. The customer service rep we talked to was terrible. After that, they decided to come and do a full service on the tree while we were out of town without telling us and didn t give us ANY diagnosis or summary and expected us to pay the service we clearly stated we did not want yet. I ve read the terrible reviews and they all seem to be true. When calling customer service to explain the issue they seemed clueless and were again horrible to work with. Save the time and headache and don t use this company for any lawn care, the negative reviews are spot on.

We have used TruGreen in the past and they did a great job but this year, the service has been awful. One our first service, we were not told they were coming out to take care of our lawn. Then I see two guys from the company who stated they were replacements who were called in because our technician was having mechanical problems. They were there about 10-15 minutes and left...not sure if they actually even treated our lawn. Now yesterday, I received a voicemail that True Green was coming today. My home office faces my back yard so I can tell if someone is present in my hard and we have a video doorbell that checks the front yard. When I checked the True Green website, it stated the service was completed... BUT NOBODY SHOWED UP! I checked the invoice and it says that someone was there between 9:16 and 929am. Well my video doorbell did not see anybody and I did not see a person come into my backyard! It looks like this is a regular problem with Tru Green now...poor, skipped or inadequate service I called the customer service line and I spoke with a very nice gentleman who apologized for the problem and said my service would be completed within the next three business days. I am not so sure what is going on this with this company. My neighbor has True Green and they are experiencing problems too. I want a supervisor of the Burnsville office to contact me and explain how this going to get resolved or I need a full refund. You cant even call the local office for help.

We used TruGreen before up in Forest Lake and had a wonderful experience with that office. Moved to Lakeville and its gone from a 5 start to a 1 Star Review. Bought a new home and had new sod installed in May 2022. Last Winter, we paid in advance $500 for a 6 treatment pkg. Yesterday am we received a notice that we had service done from 9:16am to 9:29am by Austin D. First of all, we have motion detection cameras installed and my husband works from home and no one walked a foot onto our yard. Second, it would be nearly impossible for a lawn tech to get their gear off the truck and walk our whole yard to treat it in less than 13 minutes. What happened was the tech driver pulled up in front of the house, put a TruGreen yard treated sign in the far corner of the front yard and drove off. NO SERVICE performed. In talking to our next door neighbor, this has happened to her as well. No video showing anyone on property and no one performed services. We are being told when you call TruGreen, they will come back out to do FREE re-service in about 2-3 days from the date of incident. Our neighbor received this and was then charged for it. I was also informed by TruGreen CS Rep that they will track how many times this occurs with a Lawn Tech and then move them to another area if to many complaints come in (TruGreen, you can listen to the call from July 20th 2022 to verify). So, if you are aware a tech agent is doing this, why move them to other customers to repeat the pattern of behavior? Ive notified TruGreen that they are required to notify us the night before that service will be performed and TECH is required to now RING the doorbell upon arrival and my husband who works from home, will monitor work performed. If the issue is not handled properly, and since TruGreen is aware of the issue, Im assuming they will provide a full refund for work not performed if this continues. We pay for a service, as a customer we expect to have our product delivered as promised and agreed to.

I called about a quote; their sales pitch is extremely aggressive and pressuring. We ended up going with a locally owned service at a cheaper rate. I received two calls from TruGreen the next morning aggressively asking what they could do to earn our business. The other company we went because they were very informative and understanding and when I said I needed to speak with my partner about the quote, they said they completely understood and would wait for a call back. Not this place - yikes.

I was super excited to have TruGreen for my new lawn and yard. Unfortunately they technicians they sent to my home spent very little time there including skipping my backyard altogether. The product is probably ok but I will never know because my yard was barely sprayed. I struggled to get in touch with an actual person to remedy the situation.

The results were amazing. I honestly thought it was take an entire season before I would see any change however it was almost immediately.

Have tried for two days to get ahold of a person to cancel our account as we have moved. Both times the wait time to talk to an actual person has been beyond 3 hours. Tried cancelling via the ap? Nope. You have to talk to a person. Insane.

Dont understand why they service my neighbor one day, then mine a week later. Doesnt seem efficient.

Terrible at responding to customer requests to update on a date when they can deliver the service that I paid for over a month ago. No responses to the following: phone calls, text messages, customer service calls and leaving messages. Please save yourself the frustration I am going through. TERRIBLE customer service. I WILL NEVER LOOK FOR THEIR SERVICE. I tried to use their service but WILL NOT. So they finally did come and service our lawn today. Service fellows were good and professional and did their job well. I only wished the customer service is addressed so people dont have to go through the frustration of not knowing when someone is going to come. I still cant tell if my call prompted them to schedule me or it just happened.

The Great Frustrating Epic Truegreen Cluster ^&*&^% Saga. If I could give TG a -18 for the number of times Ive had to call and get this unwanted problem sorted, I would. We do not want this service. We did not contract for this service. We think its reckless and dangerous to spray all those chemicals on the ground attempting to destroy our fragile ecosystem. They continued to spray even though we called and said no. Repeatedly. I have now lost the vast quantity of native plants Id planted. I saved for MONTHS to be able to afford the seeds and plants. Now all gone. I now have vet bills because my dogs like to eat grass. I cant afford that, either. Not in the budget. And when TG comes, they leave the gate open so the dogs wander out! Dont call them, either. Youll be on hold for HOURS listening to abhorrent upbeat 90s kinda rootless jazz. If you have any problems, they absolutely will not help you. Theyll still charge you, though.

Our yard had 3 trees removed and a huge old stump. We had little to no grass because of these trees blocking any and all sun on the yard for years. We also had a terrible weed problem. TruGreen started working on our lawn a little under a year ago and our grass is now growing like crazy and the brightest green. Our yard is quite large with many obstacles (fire pit, patio, wild flower garden, rocky areas, the dogs area, etc.) so I was worried it would take a long time to see changes. It has been so very quick though. My husband mows it every 3rd day now because it is so healthy and thick. We also have our weed problem 95% managed and I know after 1-2 more treatments it will be at 100%. These weeds were stubborn and held on for dear life so I thought for sure it would be a long journey to get them gone for good but it has been so quick. We ended last summer worried about our yard and started this summer in true shock at the difference. I also like that TrueGreen leaves us a breakdown of what happened on our yard so when we get home from work we can see what was done, by who, and what steps we can take to help. 100% recommend. I see many people gave a 1 star review due to communication and because it is hard to reach someone on the phone. I agree it is challenging because they always have long hold times BUT today I did the chat and had two questions answered in less than 10 minutes. You can also wait for a callback which I think is the best option. I would not even remove 1 star because of this. The results of my yard far outweigh my experience on the phone because that is minor for me compared to the service received.

The chemical they sprayed seems to work. Other then the crazy amount emails and ads I think theyre not bad. Fair price.

We ve used them for years but last year they killed a tree and this year they damaged our yard. We ve been calling for weeks and can never get through. Finally through a chat they said they would send someone out and no one ever came. Now my yard is dead.

Only have seen the tech once this summer 2021. Have not seen anyone since initial meeting. Payed $867 before hand and has not seen my discount for paying all at once. And have not seen anyone stop by to service my lawn since then. This is the Burnsville, MN location TruGreen that is supposed to service me.

Hi TruGreen Team, I am here to share my Trugreen service experience. I took your service in 04/07/2021 you guys promised for 7 applications. First application you guys did on 04/14/2021, after that no show till today I.e. 07/06/2021. it s like 12 weeks between 2 applications, if this is the pace of your work then my remaining applications would be in snow, I don t want your service in December or January. I called your customer care to cancel my service, because of your worst service and not delivering what you promised and not keeping up with your promise, your representative said that she will raise the request to cancel my service and can t promise about refund I.e. how much refund I will get. After that I raised a complaint from your website again no response. Just tired with your wonderful service and thanks for not keeping your promise. Will not recommend Trugreen to anyone

Horrendous experience trying to contact them by phone to ask about my account. Tried three times today. Waited on hold for 5-6 minutes before being told wait time is almost an hour. Then when I push 1 to Save my place in line so they call me back when available, Im disconnected. Three times today alone. How about telling me the wait time at the BEGINNING of my call so theres no need for me to sit on hold. And how about not disconnecting me THREE times. Its been almost a month now. Still no contact even after they responded to my review.

They charged $400 for aeration and overseeding, yet never showed up. Do not use this company. Signed up with a 50% off a season package and yard looks no different than before.

Horrible service, I am not sure if it post pandemic work shortage or what, but they rescheduled services ordered over 20 times this season. They even had help from their Rochester office, and they said that this location is the worst in the metro to work with. We normally do our own lawn care, and to be honest we did it better for cheaper. We thought might as well try to make our summer hassle free. Our lawn looked looked horrible all summer, had to keep calling for re treatments of basic things like dandelions and crab grass. They didnt even come out for the first time until May 11th, and the 2nd time was only on July 26th, but we had 5 more treatment to apply in basically 5 weeks before fall kicks in and then they just started coming weekly to get their monies worth. They also said they aerated our lawn, but there was clear evidence they did not, we have 24 hour camera streaming on our house 360 views, and they never showed up on our feeds when they said they were here. Even though the other visit 2 days prior showed up along with everything else that happens in our neighborhood, amazon deliveries, mail man, etc. We contacted Customer service, they didnt even complain and refunded my the $500 they charged for aeration and apologized. This was the worst service I have had with a hired company of Truegreen, and I will never use them again! If you are local to the area and are reading this review, Use Weed Man, family owned and operated, reliable and trustworthy.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! This is by far the worst customer service company Ive ever dealt with. We have cancel our membership 4 times over verbally conversation with the service techs and phone calls with customer service. They do not cancel the service and just keep coming back to fertilize our lawn without our authorization. We refuse to pay them any more money and they keep coming back to try and fertilize. Terrible company

This company refuses to cancel our subscription weve tried multiple times to cancel and they keep returning and fertilizing our lawn without authorization. We first attempted to cancel them early this spring. They said that they would make a note of it. We have still had multiple times where they have tried to fertilize our lawn even after I cancelization and now just today they fertilizer lawn while we were at the store without our authorization we refuse to give them any more of our money because they refuse to cancel our subscription.

I just learned today that my service has been rescheduled for the 3rd time... I called and spoke to a human that seemed less than concerned with my frustration. She said the automated system wasn t the confirmed application date. So why does the auto service say your next scheduled application is XXXX if that s not the date they re coming to treat the lawn? I used the automated system to learn that my first lawn application was scheduled 3 weeks ago. The day came and went, nothing. I called the automated service again to find out that my application was now scheduled for today, nothing. I called the auto service again today to find that my service was again changed to 5/22. At this rate, the snow will be flying before they show. And then there was the human. Customer service is a thing of the past. Find a different company to treat your lawn, completely frustrated....

Easily the worst service Ive ever experienced. 3 days in a row of skipped appointments from Rueben G and Justin G. And then when Justin Greene finally did show up, he serviced about 15% of my lawn and I got charged $98. Do not waste your time with these guys.

For the 5th!!! year in a row Trugreen came to my house to perform a service that was never scheduled. I made probably 2 dozen calls and requested for them to never even send me promotions and yet this happens every single year!! This year I have the guy that supposedly aerated my yard on camera. He rang my doorbell and left 1 minute later and today I received a bill for $170.00. This company is horrible!! This time I will publish the video along with my bill, so people dont ever give this company any business!!!

I turned you guys down on the phone. I received 15 calls over the next 2 days. Thats damn near harassment! I will never use you, and will make sure my family doesnt either!

TruGreen came out to provide the 1st application of my year contract(first time they have ever been to my house). The next morning I found my lawn burnt severely, called customer support where I received terrible service and attitude from the rep. Was told that a tech could not come and take an assessment for over a week. I called customer support everyday stating that my lawn was getting worse and it was in their best interest to come out ASAP. I never received a call back nor has anyone been out to my home to make an assessment. Absolutely terrible service and will not recommend to anyone(note: this is the first time I have ever left a review for a company but the service I received is utter BS).

I regret using Tru green. They burnt my lawn and basically made most of my grass dead or yellow. They use cheap fertilizer and the technicians that show up are only there for 5 minutes and then they leave. They rush to do their job and then they are in and out. So disappointed and I even had a nice green lush of grass right before they started coming out, until they started spraying and grass started dying. I even water my lawn 3 times a week. They also killed 4 spots of my lawn and the specialists has to come out and replace it with sod. Will not be signing up again for next year. Go with a more local company if you are looking for someone else.

If you try to sign up for a single season theyll lead you to believe its perfectly fine. What they wont tell you is theyll automatically bill you one year later without telling you. Then if you try to dispute the charge theyll send you to collections. Horrible people to work with

We started Tru Green last year. The improvement in our yard is very noticible. Thicker greener grass and the mosquito treatment works well. Give it a try.

Very good service. I like there service because they do what needs to be done at the time it needs to be done. I plan to have there service next year.

Whoever I talked to when I called this spring to adjust my plan was super helpful. Lawn technicians have been great as well when I have been home. Love the communication letting you know when they are coming so I can plan to get my dog out of the yard, etc. My lawn has never looked better too!

I did signed up for single season in the spring. They started with living for the first service. They never showed up on the day they said. By the middle of September they had only 3 services done and they pretty much burned bunch of my lawn in one service. I got tired of them so I canceled my remaining services and asked for refund but they were keep calling and pushing to resume the services so they dont have to refund me. I would never use their service again.

We used them for two years. Helped our lawn from creeping Charlie last year. This year a disaster. They have scheduled treatments and then weekly weed treatments, but instead of coming out every week to treat weeds, we have to call. Then wait. And wait. And wait. They dont show and then conveniently time for another scheduled treatment. This year they never came for weeds once. The tipping point was last week, guy came out, left the slip on our door, drove off. Never applied treatment. We have a ring so we could see, plus I was home waiting for him to unlock the gate. Called and said he would come back end of day, never showed. Called again, said they would come back when available. Called again, said they would come back in 5 weeks. Seriously????!!!! I asked for a treatment now or a refund for the missed treatment. Or mistreatment rather! Do NOT go with this company. Terrible and dishonest.

My lawn is both thicker and greener. There is still a bit too much creeping charlie.

Do NOT fill out the online quote or provide any contact information! They have called 6 times in the last hour to sell their services. Each time Ive asked them to stop contacting me....10 min later the phone rings!

They let you know when they are coming and they do a good job managing weeds

I have literally gotten nothing for my money except constant bombardment of upselling and wasted time. They claim to have treated my yard, but the weeds look happy and healthy (and plentiful) as ever. I gave them an opportunity to re-treat but that result was no different. My attempts to contact them only lead to excuses and more upselling. I was told 10 days ago that I would hear from a manager within 48 hours to discuss my concerns, but no follow up. I then called in again and was guaranteed I would hear from the local GM within 24 hours. Over 48 hours now with no contact. They refuse to refund me claiming they have performed services, but I have received nothing for my money. THERE ARE PLENTY OF COMPETITORS. AVOID THIS TRU B.S.!

Not very happy, for the look of our yard the last two years

Tried 4 weeks to get service scheduled and every time I call its fixed. Next week goes by and no-shows for my appointment. Call customer service to cancel service and get a refund, and cant even send a confirmation that theyre giving you your money back. Have to wait and see I guess. Terrible customer service. Do yourself a big favor and go with someone else.

TruGreen has improved my Yard dramatically from weeded Yard into fully thick green grass. My Yard is now the most healthier green grass in my neighborhood.

The sales team is great with selling the idea of what a great yard could be like. The POSITIVES: * I like the 24 hour advance notice of when the technician will service the yard. * I was also contacted about 6 weeks before the aeration and over seeding. * I like the convenience of a service doing the work. The NEGATIVEs: * I will look for another vendor for next year with the hopes the yard will improve after a second year of treatments. * Maybe my hopes of the sales pitch set the bar too high for service I paid for. * Tru Green did continue to solicit that I add more services every month since the signing of our contract.

Weve been using TruGreen since early summer. Our yard was a weedy mess but TruGreen put it right amazingly quickly. My neighbors have been noticing and asking how we did it. I highly recommend this service!

Overall I m satisfied with the outcome of how my yard looks. 3 out of the 5 times my yard was not serviced completely as I had asked. They always made it right by coming back but I had to call and let them know they didn t cover my whole yard and had to mark it off with flags so they could understand where my yard goes. They need to be better at communication, guy shows up for about 5 minutes and your lucky if you have time to catch them and express your concerns. If you call the number they provide you are never able to talk to a manger or the person servicing your lawn. Instead of calling me and asking me my concerns or having the person who would be treating my lawn call me so I could express those concerns, your just directed to some other state where they take a message.

Sales team over promises and under delivers. Techs don t spray trees and shrubs in the whole yard, only what s convenient for them. Sales team said the entire yard would be sprayed. They were looking at our yard on the internet via satellite and could tell exactly how many trees we had. I ve sent this multiple times via the post application survey with my name and phone number. Never got a response. If you re interested in fixing it you know how to reach me.

Worst service ever. My yard had clover all over it...only after they started spraying. The rep called me to ask me how my lawn was. I asked him the same question and he told me that it looked really good. I told him it looked like a mess with clover and weeds all over. They then proceeded to tell me how this was my fault, and that I should have called them to let them know how the lawn looked. So, I ask, what am I paying them for? The tech spraying the lawn doesnt know what a lawn is supposed to look like? Arent they trained professionals? Thats what they sell! Lastly, they over charged me by $105 dollars. I asked them repeatedly to produce proof that I authorized service. They continued to call me for 2 months, and I continued to ask them for proof...they always tell you they are recording our conversation for better customer service. Yet, they couldnt produce proof that I authorized payment. They sent me to collections. This is, by far, the worst company Ive ever done business with. My suggestion; find a local contractor that specializes in this service. They obviously hire untrained professionals to do their work. This is an assembly line with a system that operates without a care for customer service. Awful.

Used true green for 5 years. Was fine. Last year was terrible. Called at Burnsville office 4 times- was ignored, nobody s respond. A lot of promises, most is lie. Not recommending.

I requested a quote online the morning of 4/28. Within minutes of hitting send I got a call. The salesman provided me two quotes for 8 applications with aerating and over seeding and just the 8 applications. I asked him to email me the quotes at which point he seemed to get offended that I didn t want to proceed right then and there. I explained to him I want to see the quotes and asked that he email them again. At this point he got frustrated and hung up on me. It is apparent that if you don t want to proceed with them on the phone they don t want your business. Still have not received the email quotes either.

Makes fun of customers because they decide to go with the competition.

Waited over a month to get my yard sprayed for Mosquito s. They never contacted me to tell me just didn t show up. I had a friend tell me he had the same experience but I thought I d give them a try anyway, bad mistake on my part. The manager for Trugreen in Burnsville should probably be fired!

Company fell way short of their promises and service. I hired this company on a Thursday, they said they would get out the following week for my first application. They never came. I followed up and they said they would be out the next week. NO call, NO show. They just moved my application out another 2 weeks! I called, and the service rep told me they were way behind due to the late spring and that the sales person should have never told me they would be out the following week, let alone, next couple weeks, as they were basically a month behind! Basically lied to in order to get signed up. I then asked why I was scheduled, and then taken off the list, without a call. The rep looked into it, had no answer, and said the service tech must have been sick. Instead of putting those sprays onto someone else s schedule or moving anything around, they just moved everyone on that list to the bottom. The homeowners were basically penalized because they had an issue on their service end. I told them to cancel my service. They then offered me ½ off my first service, which was now back at the bottom of the list. I was not concerned with the savings, but the customer service and their dedication to their business. I said if they can get me in in the next couple days, that is all I wanted, and they said, No, not possible, I was moved to the bottom of the list as it was too much work to redo schedules that were already done for the next 2 weeks. I will not hire someone to do work on my home/lawn who will not put in the work on their end to fix their problems. I want a honest, reliable, trustworthy company, not a discount.

They promised me they could kill my weeds when I called and complained they weren t doing what they promised, the retard In the truck mixed something wrong and almost killed my whole lawn and still didn t manage to kill the weeds lol. My lawn looks terrible... weeds everywhere, dead spots as well. I called a couple weeks ago and asked for an additional application (which is supposedly part of the service) and the woman was very nice and promised to send someone out. But after two more weeks nobody came. I called back and the next application is scheduled a week from Thursday. I once again asked for someone to come out and was told that the soonest they could come out was ... a week from Thursday. Then I asked to speak to a manager to let them know that I will be looking for another service, shockingly, none were available to talk to me.

I get compliments from family, friends, and neighbors about how my lawn looks like a lush green carpet, thanks to TruGreens specialist work and assistance when I ask !

Purchased mosquito control, guy was rude to my wife and spent under 5 minutes here for almost a half acre. I Cancelled next day.

Lawn looks the best it has in many years just after 1.5 years using your services. The person who services my lawn is very communicative when Ive spoke to him on what he is going and what the results should be from the applications. He was happy to talk and thanked me for talking to him about what he was doing that day. I have neighbors who have signed up after the results of my lawn. Im sitting on just over 23K square feet of manicured property, so theres a fair amount of lawn.

Recently, my two beautiful, mature (old) birch trees were scheduled for a merit injection for insect control. The technician was knowledgeable, friendly and answered any questions I had about the service call. I wanted to be certain that the quantity and quality of the injection were ample for both trees and following our discussion, was comfortable that the treatment was going to do what it was supposed to. He also informed me to be certain to water around the trees for a couple days if we didnt get any rain. I highly recommend Trugreen for any of the services they provide.

After just 1 season, our lawn looks AMAZING! No issues with dandelions, outstanding value! Highly recommend TruGreen! Payment plan, online pay, super easy access to customer service. Were sold!

I can NEVER get through to a Commercial line and get transferred twice to the wrong location. When I am CALLING the number listed for my city, it would be NICE to have an option in the automated menu to SAY Im a Commercial Account. I dont have alot of time to wait on hold, to finally get through to someone, tell them I am a Commercial Account only to be told I need to give the information anyway, and then told Im a Commercial Acct (Yes, I already TOLD you that) and am transferred. Its always to the wrong franchise, and then Im FINALLY given a number to someone who isnt even my sales person. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!

Incredibly disappointed with the pest control service. I had to make four phone calls to try to get service. Each call ended in a promise from TruGreen to either call me back or to have someone come out with a treatment. I received no follow-up calls or service. I ended up canceling. Will find someone else to do the job.

I paid over $1,000 for their service and I am unable to get them to treat my lawn. After months of calls I asked for a refund that I still have not received. This company is a rip-off --- DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE.

I have been a TruGreen customer for over 15 years. Every year the service we receive from this company gets worse and worse. This year they burned my grass by over fertilizing. I have called, emailed, and called again and NO ONE can bother to contact me to resolve my issue. This is the LAST year that I will be giving TruGreen ANY of my money. Not happy.

My specialist is very friendly, knowledgeable,listens if I have questions. The most important is to have the same specialist come each time they get to know the yard that is being treated and the customer.

2016 season, had a decent experience with True Green until it came time for the aeration and over seeding. 1st they never completed the service and didnt reschedule, I had to follow up with them. 2nd never showed up for the rescheduled aeration and over seeding, no communication why that service didnt get completed. 3rd I had to reach out to them via email 2 times with no follow up, so I had to call them multiple times to see why this service wasnt completed in several occasions. 4 they finally came out to do the aeration and over seeding and that wasnt fully completed, just the aeration was done, and no communication from them why. So I had to reach out to them again to get a resolution. Just a bunch of excuses why it wasnt done. After I asked for some sort of discount they said they would do the final service for free. Who knows if that will get done. Next year, wont go with True Green, Ill look for a local company such as The Weedman.

Our yard looks great. If I am home when the specialist comes we always chat....mostly about my dog. My husband is an agronomist and appreciates the print out of what is put on our yard.

Please look around the trees in back against fence for weeds.undwr them and in the back of them.ither than that I am pleased with all the men who come out and do my lawn very polite and informative please with them.and have mention to others at work and one has actually called.and is having his yard done. I said I have had you out for my yrs and are happy with you .

I talked with the specialist and did exactly as requested regarding recently seeded spots. Very friendly, and answered all my questions.

My lawn looks great, especially for August. I do have some weeds but not many. The specialist does a very good job. I think the value for the dollar is excellent which is important to me as were living on a small income and have many medical bills.

I was recently disappointed with regards to my last lawn treatment. I was scheduled on a day that extreme thunderstorms were happening throughout the morning and in to the afternoon. I was shocked when I arrived home from work that day when I saw the TruGreen stakes in my yard (acknowledging that the treatment had been applied that day). I called TruGreen to explain my feelings about my most recent lawn treatment and disappointment with it being administered on a very questionable day. The TruGreen Representative told me my treatment would be reapplied at no charge. I was happy to hear this response and glad I took the time to call. Last night (maybe 2 weeks after talking toTruGreen rep) a representative called to schedule my next lawn treatment appointment and I explained that a make-up treatment was going to be applied due to weather conditions of previous treatment but it had not been applied to date. This representative (wish I could remember her name) told me she didnt see any notes of re-applying treatment but said she recommended I had the next treatment scheduled because this treatment is more critical due to Winter approaching. She was VERY understanding and helpful explaining the difference in the last treatment vs. the next and I agreed to go ahead and okay the next treatment. She then told me this treatment would be free of charge due to the issues I had expressed to her. I felt really good after talking to the last rep. The new treatment hasnt been done yet but feel like this gal will make sure I get the next treatment and it will not be charged......Time will tell but am confident that it will happen as she indicated to me. Gotta feeling!
