The Grounds Crew does Excellent work. Both their Fall & Spring Clean-Ups are Very thorough - as is their lawn care & snow removal thruout the year. Their crews are very polite & responsive as is the office staff. And their communication is Outstanding! I had tried other services for my home - & they were nowhere near to the Quality that The Grounds Crew consistently provides. Just AAA+++

Excellent service and communication with customers.

We have used the Grounds Crew for fall cleanup and snow removal for the past three years. Last year they sent two people to do the job. They did a great job and completed it in less than the two hour minimum. This year they sent three people. It took longer and cost a lot more. $380 - almost $500. And we have two less trees than we had last year! Not happy. This was my previous review : They do a great job, reasonably priced and respond quickly to questions or concerns.

I use The Grounds Crew for both plowing and mowing services, and they are as dependable as they come. Great, consistent communication. They go above and beyond for both plowing and mowing. Sidewalks get shoveled, lawns are quickly and efficiently mowed. Invoices are sent promptly for record keeping and tracking. I would elaborate, but they simply do a fantastic job with excellent service!

I actually found the ground screw by mistake. Im glad I did. They have done more for our yard in one season then our other lawn care company did in probably 20 years. We have grass growing now where we havent had grass growing for 18 years. As long as I have our house Im going to have the grounds crew take care of my lawn. Give them a try. Rolling into year two with TGC & just as happy as day one! Great company to work with. Prompt to answer emails and/or return calls. Charlie and his crew completed a backyard project in a day and sooner than expected. The project turned out amazing. Respectful and kind workers. Bob handles our propertys fertilization/weed control package. And since he took over (we had a different company before) I have seen a huge difference in our yard. As a matter of fact, grass looks so good that now some neighbors are using their services too. Prices are reasonable compared to others in the market. I recommend them 100%

The grounds crew does a great job and has very strong communication! They plow a condo parking lot, we had a lot of trouble with vendors in the past but TGC knows what they are doing!

Communication is key with TGC. They keep you well informed of on coming weather, when the plan to be out, when the job is completed. Even though we had such a mild winter they are a pleasure to work with.

The grounds crew has always provided perfect ( in my case ) snow removal. Durring the biggest of storms or small requests it has been a value to myself. Lake Ridge Apartments located in Prior Lake loves The Grounds Crew. They are always willing to listen and rectify and issues that come up. They do such a great job, and Charlie the owner is always donating gifts for our resident events, which our residents truly enjoy. I recently inquired about an irrigation install. I reached out to five different places, only two responded, and only one responded within a couple hours. TGC had me scheduled to meet three days from my inquiry, a quote within two days from meeting, and my project completed within a few short weeks. I worked directly with Charlie the owner. He was professional, prompt, answered all questions, and left me feeling good about my decision to move forward after receiving a very competitive quote. I love to support small business whenever possible, but reliability can be hard to come by sometimes. Charlie and team were definitely the exception. Chris was the project manager of my instal. He did a phenomenal job with his team getting it completed in one day. He communicated with me multiple times, walked me through setup, and made sure the job was done to my standards. I had an issue with one head, a couple spots not getting watered, but he was back within a couple days of each inquiry to fix. Danielle and the rest of the staff behind the scenes were quick to respond to my questions, always heard back within 24 hours, took care of my questions/concerns, and always communicated with me through the process. Used them for a year. Late summer and fall into a spring and early summer. Worst weeds we have had. Regret switching to them. Was told the next application was to kill the weeds. My expectation was to prevent not kill after they appear.

I have used this company for weed control for 2 years. The first year my lawn looked very nice. This year. I have so much crab grass and weeds it was terrible. I called and left messages with no response. It was a waste of money this summer.

I called your business yesterday and talked to some guy named Charlie, about an estimate for snow plowing I sent him a text about how much it would cost? And he never got back to me. Very poor customer service!!!

Do not hire!!! Service was always half a day or more late We hired this company for removal or plowing of snow of our driveway and front and back paths. From the first significant snowfall, they never came to deliver service earlier than 11:30 AM. For the last snow fall, We called at 9:00 AM, the company told us they were on their way, and it is now evening, nearly 5:00 PM. and we still havent had anybody from GroundsCrew come and deliver service, even though the snow stopped falling several hours ago. Theyre not delivering what they promised in the contract. Worse, when they dont deliver service and get unhappy customers, the receptionist simply doesnt answer the phone. She lets everything go to voicemail. It is negligence! Do not hire! I will never use this service again nor can I recommend it to anybody. Save yourself money and a bad experience. Hire anybody else. Even hiring a young person for shoveling would be better than this! I never write a bad review, but this was such a terrible experience I want to save others parting their money and not getting the service they promised.

I spoke with TGC twice and they said they would have the person in charge of scheduling call me to confirm my services. I called them four or five times and left messages over the course of five days. None of my calls were returned. They were rude when I eventually connected. Very bad and unreliable. I wouldnt trust my lawncare to them.

Very poor communication lately. I dont get whats going on with them, Ive been a client for several years. The lawn care service itself is okay but communication is becoming a real issue. Lately every email appears to be automated, theres no reply to repeated emails sent to the main Info address on their site, and today their website is down. I dont understand why its so hard to reach anyone at this company or get a reply from a human being.

The Grounds Crew have done a ton of work for us. From landscaping the entire front yard, creating a new concrete driveway, walkway and steps to weekly yard services. The entire crew is fantastic and so much better than our previous service I would never think to change. It s refreshing to get clear communication on projects or as schedules change due to weather. This is our experience trying to work with the Grounds Crew. A few key points on their dismal performance with respect to their Snow Removal service: 1. Last year they failed to ever show up within 24 to 48 hours of snowfall. They finally gave us the number of the subcontractor they use who would respond to our calls. 2. This is not their own crew so they actually subcontract out the contract you sign with them. Hence, they typically have no idea when they will show up to your home to perform service. 3. This year, they auto renewed our contract and we had to follow up to figure out what they did and why they did it. This year, they said they would not give out the number of their subcontractor crew and would require authorization to do so. For $190/month, their communication and service is extremely poor. I would definitely not recommend working with them and find alternative options.

Nice quick and efficient!

When I was looking for new Snow plow service this year I came across The Ground Crew. I saw some good reviews and decided this is the company for me. I couldnt have been more wrong!!! The first snow fall was last Tuesday night November 26. The snow had stopped early Wednesday. When I had come home @ 6pm Wednesday the plow service had not been to my house. I called and had left a voicemail. My neighbor made a path on city sidewalk that day so I wouldnt be fined and then had helped me clean the rest of the front. I did not get my mail that day. On Thursday , Thanksgiving, I had went to the Portal and left a message there, knowing that it was mentioned that this was the best place to get a response but did not hear back using that either. And I had left another voicemail. Nothing, no one called and no one came to plow the driveway. I had gone out and shoveled some of the snow over towards the garage so my neighbor on that side would not get mad, bad back and all. When I left for work that Friday morning still no plow. I had called the office number from work and someone actually picked up the phone. I said who I was and why I was calling. the woman on the other end had said Yeah and hung up. Half an hour later I tried again and would get the ringing and then the voicemail so I just kept calling until someone finally picked up. The woman was rude and not very nice. Like it was my fault. Said was very busy and that all had Thanksgiving off. So while I was shoveling on Thanksgiving all of you were enjoying your Turkey, nice. The lovely woman then said someone would get back to me. Another woman got back to me . said that the driver had sent pictures and said he did my driveway. I guess I was lying about my neighbor helping and that I shoveled part of the driveway just for the heck of it because I did not have anything else to do?? It was my neighbor garage that the driver took pictures of and said he had did, which by the way my neighbor had already shoveled his apron and that is all he has so not sure what the driver did. After finally done arguing regarding what garage and who did or did not do what, someone finally came out and did a very poor job cleaning the rest of the driveway. I had mentioned that the snow from the driveway would need to go around the corner because there is not room around the garage but nope that did not happen either --it is sitting between my garage and the neighbor and hanging in the alley. I had then sent a message using the wonderful portal about that but did not hear anything back. Over this past weekend as all know we had more snow which started Friday night. Off and on during the day Saturday. Stopping totally Sunday afternoon. To this day I still have snow on my driveway and my neighbor and I cleaned the front. I did not actually cancel your service until Monday afternoon one would think that my driveway would have been cleaned before that. Not once did I ever get any response from the portal messages or voicemail. Cant wait forever. Terrible service!! I dont know how you keep in business treating people this way and not be responsible or reliable. I will tell all and anyone I know never to do business with you. Seems like you do not care anyway. Thanks for your time....

We hired this company Nov 1 to do the groundskeeping and snow removal for our townhome association. The subcontractor who showed up did a miserable job. Our streets were not cleared properly so we have a thick layer of ice. They havent returned any of our calls.

We signed a contract for a full season commitment of snow removal - close to $900. The contract stated the crew would arrive within 12 hours after the snowfall stopped. The Grounds Crew did NOT arrive within 12 hours and did not provide notification that they would be late. We reached out to the team, and they stated the snow was heavy and they couldnt make it within 12 hours (its a snow removal company?). As a result, we shoveled our driveway on our own. Our learning was that the company will push that 12 hour limit boundary. We elected to terminate our contract; as middle ground, we offered to pay for their alleged visits despite one of those times being outside of the contracted window. To date, they will not respond and own up to their failure and have kept a full month of payment. I would not suggest this company if you are expecting timely removal AND timely communication.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR SNOW SERVICE I am extremely frustrated with the service Ive been getting. For example, I came home from a business trip and there was 1 inch of ice and 2 inches of slow on top of my driveway that had been there for several days (per my neighbor). The answer I got to fix this was that someone will come plow during the next snow fall. I had to hand shovel my driveway and couldnt get the layer of ice off. When they do plow, the plowing and shoveling are not of good quality and nothing is done to fix the issues. For example, missed the step to my front door when shoveling. Left 2 feet of my driveway covered in snow.

Dont buy their snow removal service. I would give a 0 star if I can. I never got any response and they always late to do the job. Sometimes even abandoned the job. Not responsive and not on time. You cannot reach them by phone, by email or by anything. I really regret to pay them almost $900 dollars and got nothing.

It s January 8th so we ve only had a couple of snow events but so far it s working as I hoped. TGC sends out an email when the snowfall has triggered an event. The last time, my sidewalks and driveway were cleared before I woke up. If you have an issue, they ve got a website where you can enter the details.

Very responsive to the customer s needs. I have a difficult driveway to plow, so they send a driver and a shoveler. Thanks!

We are new customers to The Grounds Crew and so far have had amazing service! The staff that come out to our house are knowledgeable, polite, and very aware of what they do. We had a billing problem, I called Pat and he looked into and completely took care of it. You guys are running a great company that I will be sure to recommend you to our friends! Thank you!

I don t often post a negative review but I am completely disappointed. My experience started off well last Sept with a quick response for an estimate followed by quick completion of deck cleaning and staining. They did, however, use a different stain than what I requested but I just let that go. Fast forward to May and my deck stain is peeling and falling off. I called to inquire about this and was told they would get back to me. No follow up. I called again and was told it was the condition of my deck that is causing it. I was never informed when they did the work that that may be an issue. And my deck is not is bad condition. I was also told they would come out to check it and get back to me. Again, no follow up. I paid a lot of money to have this done and am very disappointed they have not even tried to address it, yet they were quick to ask me to write a positive review right after the job was completed. Just a caution for others to be aware of.

Weve used TGC every year for irrigation and theyve been consistently prompt and professional. This past Fall we had them do a major overhaul of our oft-neglected landscaping and they were able to wash and reuse most of the existing rock, very eco-friendly! Charlie even drives a Prius! That is pleasing to us. We do not miss our weed garden.

I had an excellent experience with The Grounds Crew painting team and Id highly recommend using their services! To start with, TGC provided us with a highly competitive price making it easy to choose them as our contractor. Mark, our contractor was awesome and we trusted him in our house. We had a large project that included a huge great room with 18 ceilings, a sun porch with vaulted ceilings, kitchen, laundry, mud room, bathroom, hallways, a den and others. Mark was meticulous in his work and he paid attention to detail. He took excellent care of our house and personal belongings. He was flexible and willing to add things on at a competitive price when we wanted to add additional rooms in the middle of the project. We will definitely use their services again in the future and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality painting service.

Charlies great and always is ready to help on a moments notice. TGC cut my lawn, winterize my irrigation system, also does snow removal when I am travelling! Over the years, I have had a few different companies provide lawn and snow removal for me. These guys are absolutely the best. They are extremely prompt with the plowing. They are very thorough on my annual fall yard cleanup. Price is competitive. I highly recommend them.

Charlie & Team were super responsive, on time and extremely hard working. The crew delivered soil, mulch and a large Boulder to build a beautiful garden bed in my yard, and were a pleasure to work with. After they finished the work, they cleaned up every stray piece of mulch! Highly recommended!

We ve worked with The Grounds Crew a couple of times now for our various landscaping needs and couldn t be happier with them. Our yard was a bit of an undertaking, as the majority of our backyard contains retaining walls and landscaping beds. In addition, the yard had been neglected for a few years, prior to our purchase of the home, so it was in major need of some TLC. The Grounds Crew came in and completely cleaned out the beds, removed a dying tree and large bush and added fresh rock/mulch throughout the front and backyard. We honestly were blown away with the results- it is like a whole new yard! And working with the crew was great, too. They are very professional and knowledgeable about their craft. They took the time to explain and answer all of our questions and were very pleasant to work with. We will definitely be continuing our relationship with them and would recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping or painting services!

I contacted The Grounds Crew through their website (the owner, Charlie, responded to my chat request within seconds!) on a Monday night. By Wednesday afternoon, Charlie had already stopped by our house, took photos and measured the area we wanted excavated and graded (about 1500SF). He got back to me with a quote that evening, and they completed the entire job the next day! Granted, Charlie mentioned they were in a slow period gearing up for fall cleanup time, but we definitely appreciated the promptness. The whole area looked great exactly how we wanted it. I would definitely recommend The Grounds Crew, and will think of them first for any other services we may need in the future!

Very personal. When wandering about color gave good advice on how to pick it by saying look at what cant be change and go with neutral color. Would go with them again.

We had our deck stained this summer and from start to finish the whole company, but Mark in particular, was great to work with! Excellent communication, stopped by the day I called for an estimate evaluation, and his crew painting did a spectacular job. However, at some point after the painters left that day, stain got onto our composite deck boards and we emailed Mark very upset and concerned about the stain lasting. He showed up the next day personally and spent hours scrubbing on his hands and knees with a special mix until the stains were gone. We were so happy with their customer service and will work with them again and would recommend them to anyone! Thanks for a great experience and a deck that looked great all summer long!
