Green Horizons removed two stubborn shrub stumps most recently. They are always prompt and professional, and do a great job. We use them for our fall cleanup as well, and lawn mowing during years where we can t get to it. So nice to have a go-to company for all our needs. They just did our 1st fall cleanup, and we have a lot of leaves ! I just have to tell them once how I d like something done, and it s done! Such a pleasure! They are so thorough and great guys.

Work done on the lawn and picking up the leaves was great. Lawn looked good however, what they did to my down spouts was another story. Glad I followed up their work with a walk around the yard. Several were ripped loose, and one was more severely damaged which took some time to repair.

My family has been using green horizons for lawn fertilization and crabgrass control for many years now. They have been absolutely fantastic to work with. They are very affordable compared to other services I used in the past. I highly recommend them.

The hours of operation to get ahold of anyone are horrible. Trying to get them to come out and take care of the weeds that they were supposed to prevent in the first place is abysmal. And if you call them to come take care of it, they treat you like your dumb and use excuses like oh thats this and thats not part of the treatment They said they could take care of an issue I had with creeping charlie but they never did. After it rained and rained and rained, they thought it would be a good idea to drive their machine over my lawn and make tracks in my yard. This place is horrible. I didnt want to use them but my wife signed up for them anyways. This will be the last year I ever use them.

We have an obstacle to work around , a badminton net, and they do a wonderful job keeping our yard looking in tiptop shape. We ve used them for about 20 years and really wish they could come back into the city for snow removal as well.

We have used Green Horizons for many years and have been pretty satisfied until this spring. I have no idea what spring cleanup means to them but I would expect at bare minimum that leaves, twigs and branches would be cleaned up. Not this year .. they forgot the south side of the yard completely. Also, I know the blowers are strong and some landscaping rock gets blown out but this year it was totally ridiculous. I had rocks half way across my yard. Generally speaking this year was definitely sub-par

We signed up for lawn services from Green Horizons, and they showed up the gollowing day and got right to work. They are thorough and hardworking have done an excellent job.

Love these people. They came to my house and helped me realize I had a grub worm problem. I would have never known, and that issue could have destroyed my whole lawn, which I was working diligently at reviving over the past few years.

Repeatedly difficult to deal with customer service. Last year there was a dispute over the time a crew was paid to work on the lawn and the amount of time they actually spent working. The was never resolved to my satisfaction. I let it go as a one time issue. This year there is another problem where the notes I specifically left on an order (start sprinkler before seeding) were disregarded and they sprinkler wont be started until 6 weeks after the seeding (seed will like have a significantly lower germination rate ... wasted money). The customer service person is also repeated rude/ snarky and wont work to resolve issues. Im done with these guys. Overpriced, unfair, dishonest and rude.

Watched while spaying broad leaf killer, they just covered half of the lawn, left lot of areas.

I didn t realize that they were going to stand in my roof to blow out the leaves. I was also disappointed that the down spouts were not cleaned.

This company has been a HUGE disappointment. Theyve been fine for weekly mowing service, but every other service I have tried to use them for has been absolute garbage. Their leaf clean up was a couple of guys here blowing the leaves into my back fence and not actually clearing them out. They left so many leaves in my yard, it was an absolute joke. This is my first year trying their snow service. Yeah, well, its snowed all of three times all winter, and they couldnt be bothered to clear my entire driveway this time, even though I (and however many customers they have) have been paying them every month for literally doing NO WORK the entire winter. Lazy, terrible, ripoff of a company. NEVER again. I gave them two stars instead of one simply because they do manage to come out every week to mow the lawn and do a decent job at that, but never, ever use them for anything else.

I have a contract with Green Horizons for snow removal. Obviously, I am not getting my money s worth since we had such a mild winter. All the more reason to think that the snow removal from last week would have been stellar. Not the case at all. When the driveway was cleared on March 25, 2024, big chunks were left behind on the driveway as well as at the curb. On March 26th, the truck ran through the grass on the side of the driveway, taking it down to dirt and also snapped the snow marker in half at the bottom corner of the driveway. There are snow markers along the sides of the driveway, so I don t understand how or why the truck drove onto the grass..?? I had attempted to request reimbursement for this month s fee, however, the Customer Service email address on their website is not complete so it would not go through. Here are the pictures. NO STARS, but you can t post a review unless you give at least one star.

My front yard was done fine. My backyard they missed two spots also from the blowing of debris leaves were left where they weren t at before. The yard is ok but just not up to past quality

Green Horizons came to our house to do a spring cleanup on a particularly windy day. Wind is a problem given that there are, at most, limited barriers to wind blowing first, across a large marsh; second, across our backyard. Nonetheless, Green Horizons 3-person crew did an excellent job under the circumstances. This was the first time that Green Horizons assisted me. I intend to continue to use its services.

They did a good job aerating my lawn. Only issue is scheduling. I couldnt schedule a specific day and they gave me a two week window. Then texted me the morning they were to come with little time to mark the sprinkler heads.

2.5 inches of snow on our walks this morning and Green Horizons says that they dont have to come out because it snowed under an inch. Typical of the terrible service we have received. I will never use them again.

Great company for seasonal snow plowing!

Ive been using them for 2 years, the first year they were great, on time, and would even shovel my sidewalks sometimes for no charge. Now, theyll text saying theyre coming to plow, and then send a text when plowing is complete , and multiple times theyve plowed someone elses driveway instead and not mine. Cant get anyone to follow up or explain why this keeps happening. When they do come they are clearly in a rush. Do not recommend.

We have been a customer of Green Horizons for about a year and a half. We started out with great service the first year, but their snow plow service this season has been so bad that we will be changing to a new company going forward. We ve had at least 4 instances where we got over 1/2 of snow but GH didn t show up to plow per our contract. When they do perform services for us, it is typically 10-16 hours after it s stopped snowing. There is no communication with us when service is missed or late. We have reached out to them for help multiple times via phone and email but we have never gotten a satisfactory resolution to our issues. Trying to reach them over the phone has about a 25% success rate. Really disappointed in our snow plow experience with them. Here s a picture of me shoveling 5 of snow from my driveway this week after they didn t show up.

Like working with this team. They always come sooner than expected and do a great job. Just had them perform a spring clean up. Very satisfied. Neighbors also noticed and are also scheduling.

Absolutely terrible quality of service and difficult to work with despite and expensive. They hit my house with their snow plow and it resulted in thousands of dollars in an insurance claim that took tons of time to coordinate and figure out. Now they are arguing with me that my contract expired on 3/31 and they wont come plow my driveway on 4/1; however, the contractual 2 trigger was reached before midnight on 3/31. Ive tried my best to work with this company despite the issues, but now thats the final straw for me. I wouldnt recommend anyone use this company for any services.

I ve been a customer for about 18 years and they have always done a great job cleaning up the leaves on our wooded 1.3 acre lot. This past year due to the snow they couldn t get their second fall trip in .but early this spring the cane and finished the job. Very satisfied with Green Horizons.

I had the power raking done. It was not cheap. Except for lines left by the machine, I see no difference. I thought power raking would remove old left-over leaves but it didn t. Their lawn mowing service last yr was good. The customer service at GH is terrible though at answering a question straight forward or in a timely manner.

I had Green Horizons aerate my lawn last week. They were easy to schedule and they completed the service, however they hit my in ground irrigation system in a few places and I had to have one of the sprinkler heads replaced and a section of pipe where they punctured it. I made note in the order that we have an in ground irrigation system and to be careful not to hit sprinkler heads or the junction box in the yard. Unfortunately I wasnt home when the service was being done. Now I have to nurse the yard back to health where they dug up the pipes for repair. I spoke with the irrigation company I used previously and asked them to bury the pipe deeper in the area where it was hit so that wont happen again, but the sprinkler head was not their fault. Its hard to say if I will use Green Horizons again, it depends on what service Im requesting in the future.

Told they will be here one day never showed or call came several days later. Came today for a spring clean up only picked up the leaves and broke my lights around my siding. My front yard still had branches and things laying around. Will definitely be calling tomorrow especially for the amount that we paid.

The lawn looked very nice. It stood out from the neighbors lawns on both sides. After signing the agreement, they were out taking care of the lawn the next week.

Team came out and cleared all the old leaves we were not able to clean up in the fall due to the early snow. All of our landscaping is cleaned up. Looks great!!

I very rarely leave a bad review and try to stick to the good ones but this one really got under my skin. Initially, I really loved the fact that this company made it easy to go online and order services quickly and efficiently. However, when it came time to the mowing, they never showed up but it registered on my account that they had mowed my yard twice. I called three different times, and each time they said your lawn will be mowed today . I thought it was very strange. They either had the wrong address or lied to me. I canceled my service and they charged me for 2 mowing services that I did not receive. Very frustrating.

I had a severely overgrown landscape/flower bed area and Green Horizons did a pro job at getting cleared out and offers a bunch of services to keep it weed free. Very impressed.

They do a good job taking care of our lawn. We have used them for fertilization/weeding, aeration, mulch, weekly mowing, and edging. Reasonably priced and responsive. They have done a great job with mulch application. Overall very happy. In reading other reviews, it seems like some people have had bad luck with garden work (trimming hedges, garden clean-up). I have not used them for this, because any decent garden work requires professional gardeners in my opinion. These folks are not professional gardeners, more like lawn care crew.

Really disappointed in the service this year. I purchased a spring cleanup and weed service for my yard and today your team came and picked weeds . The team hardly picked any weeds and additionally cut back several of my plants, one of which hadn t even flowered yet this summer. I purchased this back in may and never heard anything and then today they show up with no heads up and cut whatever they want?? I m so bummed.

I was not initially impressed with Green Horizons. The Spring cleanup was very expensive with marginal compleness. However, their fertilization and weed treatment was significantly better than the cursory TruGreen applications. Also, the minor gardening was pretty decent.

I would not recommend this company for hand weeding. hired 2 crews for 2 hours but they were neither efficient nor productive. Very disappointed

Asked for them to spray crabgrass early Spring. Was told a pre-emergent was used which should prevent crabgrass. Lots of it then came out and I complained so they came back to spray again. Now we have so much crabgrass we have the worst looking lawn on the block. So much for having a professional service care for our lawn.

Overall, Im very satisfied with their service and quality of work. However, just a couple of small things: they accidentally mowed over a drainage cover and shattered it to pieces. Im thinking they didnt notice. Also, would like the trimming to be closer cut to my edging. Thanks!

Do Not Use This Company! There is no communication between the workers that cut the lawn and the office. Communication is everything in a business! Our lawn is 2 inches lawn, no rain, I spoke to Jordan, Mike, to cancel the week before, I wake up out of deep sleep to Eduardo Driving over our lawn at 8:30am Monday morning! 2 Weeks in a row! Our lawn is turning brown and missing patches of grass.. Looking worse every week. They also do not trim there blades. A regional manager from true green pointed it out to me and asked me who cut our lawn and showed me the jagged tips. Not a clean cut. Another time they came after it rained 2 days in a row awhile back and it was actually raining at the time they were cutting it, leaving tracks and mud all over the lawn?! Green Horizons has the best prices, but you unfortunately get what you pay for. I do not recommend this company! I will be purchasing a lawn mower to cut the grass myself.

I guess my expectations were not met for the $300 it cost me for a very light coat of black soil and seed on about five rather small spots in my lawn.

Cut lawn too short, continue cutting during periods of drought when lawn doesn t need to be cut, circle around trees destroying grass around trees.

My experience with Green Horizons exceeded expectations. The online scheduling process was straightforward, and the quality and service followed soon after. It was less than 24 hours from the time I placed the order to the time everything was completed.

We had aeration and overseeds. Workers did not report to us when they arrived. and they never reported to us when they are done.

Grass greener and weeds under control at a lower price point than the neighbors

Didnt know they were coming so had no chance to mark sprinkler heads. Very few punch marks. Have to think twice should I consider using them again.

I am not sure what was applied and I thought I would get a text letting me know that Green Horizons would be showing up at my home. This is my first experience with the company, hoping the fall cleanup goes well and I will update my review once that has been completed.

While it took about 15 minutes or less to clear out my garage and roof gutters, I dont have any idea if they are in fact clean or not, so I suggest you add to your service some kind of proof of performance video to ensure your customers that the gutters are clear. Secondly, I was very disappointed that your team didnt notice how much of the gunk in the gutters that was blown out was spattered all over my house - particularly at my front entrance. I spent a good amount of time washing my front entryway and siding on the garage and front of my house near the entrance today, and was not happy about it. Since it only took a few minutes for you to do the clear out, why not take a few more and look around to see what happened?

I recently used Green Horizons for their gutter cleaning services and was pleasantly surprised by the effort put in on not only cleaning out the gutters, but removing branches and other shrapnel from the roof itself as well as clearing off the driveway and walkways around the property. Definitely went above and beyond expectations.

I purchased a one-time fall clean-up in the amount of $332.85 with a schedule date between November 14th and December 15th. Unfortunately, Green Horizons showed up on November 4th, 10 days earlier than our contracted agreement. The quality of the service was okay, but not high quality, as the technicians blew rocks and bark chips from the landscaping onto the turf and left them there without tidying up. As a former landscape professional, I know it only takes 5-10 minutes to tidy up an area to make sure rocks and chips are put back into their perspective areas. With a price tag of $332.85, this service was a poor value in relation to the quality provided. All stated above, Green Horizons normally provides excellent, high-quality service and this is why I have hired them in the past. Im sure this is just a fluke performance on their part and that they will correct the poor performance and the violation of our contract.

We used them for fall clean up so awesome to come home to a leaf free yard! And the garden beds were cleared out fantastic!

Green Horizon is the worst company you could ever go with! I had them for mowing, fertilizing, seeding, fall clean up. Very poor job, sloppy, missed spots, no weed wacking to trim, came out to mow on or shortly after major rain and made huge tire gouges in my grass. Tore up my yard. They didn t care. I asked for a manager to come out and look at it. I sent pictures. My whole yard was tore up. My neighbors were shocked! Nobody ever came out. They said they were a small company and nobody was in charge. They never came on the same day that was suppose to be scheduled for mowing. They fertilized and I had more weeds in my yard than you could imagine. (I m sure it was something other than fertilizer). The seeding was a disaster. They ran out of dirt and left it. The seeds never took. Again I asked for someone to come out and look. Nobody did. It was all a big waste of money. The Fall clean up was scheduled after the snow!! The whole yard was so wet and I ended up with huge puddles of dirt in my yard and again the grass was destroyed by their huge tractors they ride on. If you want to save your money and your yard, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. There are so many other companies to pick from. AVOID GREEN HORIZON. All my neighbors stopped service with them too. When I would get my statement, they falsified dates and overcharged me. I would have to call them all the time to take off charges. The people there are super rude!!

I pre-paid for two (2) fall cleanups. Unlike last year, I was charged and additional dumping fee and a gas surcharge. This was not disclosed before I made the online payment. I also requested that I be notified before and after the cleanup. This wasnt done after the first one was completed.

These guys are great. I placed my order for Fall clean up services on Monday. They were here the very next day and did a terrific job cleaning my property of all leaves, pine cones and other debris. They even mowed my lawn after the clean up. I could not be more pleased with their services.

This is the first time I used Green Horizons Lawn Care service. The ordering process on line was quite smooth. I need them to clean my fall leaves, gutter and fertilizer. They did a relatively good job cleaning the front yard, but not so great job in the back yard. After they cleaned the leaves, the leaves were left in a pile at my front yard for about 3 days before they eventually remove it after I emailed them. During the 3 days, the wind blow away some of the leaves from the pile, which was certainly not a very good thing.

Disappointed with this company. Prices jumped to almost double what they were last year. Was quoted $250 for fall lawn clean up in the spring then received an email days before service it was actually $691. Had I know that, wouldn t have booked the service and up kept the leaves myself. Leaves were left on the lawn destroying the grass, gates left open after service allowing my pets to get out. Overall will not be using this company again.

Do NOT use this company! They are snake oil salesmen that will quote you one price, then change it days before your scheduled date and blame it on a system error . When you reach out to discuss, the customer service department is unhelpful and condescending. Last season, leaves never picked up causing damage to my yard. All they care about is their bottom line with no regard to building a loyal customer base. I understand system errors can occur, but any good business works with the customer to make things right and Green Horizons does nothing of the sort. I can t overstate how disappointing my experience was with this company and would urge anyone thinking using this company to look elsewhere. I don t want anyone else getting swindled the way I have!

I love having Green Horizons do our yard cleanup. They are attentive and tidy. Today, they showed up and removed the 10 tons of leaves. They are fantastic.

Weve used Green Horizons for the past two year for spring aeration, weekly mowing and fall clean-up. Were delighted with the service, communication and responsiveness.

Ordered week of thanksgiving hoping to get leaves up before winter, they came out the next week and worked well into the night even after it was completely dark out. Came next day to haul away the massive leaf pile. Overall was very happy with the service, would recommend.

So my review is tricky. The work that is done at my address by Tito and staff has always been exceptional. Tito is the best and if it wasnt for him and his work ethic I would have left Green Horizons long ago. From a customer service perspective there is a person in your office that I have tried to deal with over the years. His name is Michael. In my 40 years of working as a manager in business I have never been talked too so rudely as he talks to me. He is disrespectful, insulting and in my belief overcharges. During my last encounter with him he actually insulted Tito to me and told me that prices for snow removal had changed because the company lost money last year and the cost has to be transferred to the customer in the future. My understanding from others that I have referred to Green Horizons is that I am not the only one he abuses. So sad because it has made me make other arrangements in the future for services. They provide great service for fall clean up with 2 visits. Unfortunately, they seem to drag their feet on the second visit when most leaves have fallen already with the concern of a snowfall before they show up. Not sure if they time weather conditions.

I ve noticed a few recent bad reviews about Green Horizons but I have used them for a number of years for all my service needs at my home in Plymouth. Their workers are always very nice , fast, and efficient in doing my services. I ve recommended them to all my family and friends to support the local company I ve enjoyed having a relationship with. I really appreciate the snow service they provide as I ve never had to worry about when and if they are going to show up to complete my service.

I signed up for a number of spring landscape services and then let them handle the schedule of when best to perform the services. Unfortunately, they performed spring aeration on my lawn on June 20. Technically spring, but the day it was 101 degrees with many 90+ days following. This was way too hot to aerate which I would think a lawn service should know. What was a lush green lawn now has many dry burned spots even though I have watered lightly everyday. Places where I had seeded in the spring and new grass was growing were completely torn up. Unfortunately it looks like I will be doing a lot of reseeding this fall.

They have done an excellent job on my property. They are always on time, they do a professional job, they are always friendly, they are always willing to please you, the folks back in your office have been great in answering my question and following up any concerns and for me they are a good value.

There crews are prompt and thorough. I like that they cut the grass in a different pattern each week. Spring and fall cleanup are done very well.

Green Horizons effectively destroyed new landscaping we installed this summer when they stopped by to complete a spring trim on June 27. After hacking away at our evergreens they proceeded to sheer the tops off 16 brand new boxwoods. Then they chopped up our hydrangeas. But don t worry overgrown bushes in the backyard that actually needed a trim were left untouched. Absolutely no quality and zero follow up despite detailed pictures and multiple emails to management.

Prepaid for the season-long weed control, fertilizer and Fall aeration/overseed program. They never bother calling, texting or emailing regarding planned applications, they just show up unannounced, then trying to get them to come back to finish the job I had already paid for was an absolute joke, it never happened. Their communication is horrible, their customer service is sub-par and apparently losing customers is not of any concern. I would not recommend; I advise against using this company due to their lack of attention to what matters most...their customer base. I hope this reaches management or ownership and they make some necessary adjustments. The only positive experience Ive had was getting my refund.

The online service ordering system is good and easy to use. Their scheduling could use some work. I got notified by email that a team was going to be out on Monday for the garden service I ordered. They never showed and I was never notified of a reschedule. Now I got notified for the bush trimmers coming out Tuesday morning and they did show up and did an amazing job. Now I only did get charged for the bush trimming and not the gardening which is perfect. Just wish that if a team is scheduled to come out and they run out of time for that day, that I get notified. I still plan on using this company in the future because they did such great work. Just need to work on communication.

Their customer service wasnt good when I messaged about an issue with a service we purchased. Their minor seeding option is not recommended unless you are only looking for 1/3 the amount of time being used to do work on your yard. Their response was to say they worked for the 30 min which I know is not true because I have cameras.

Zero stars. A Green Horizons aeration resulted in a terribly damaged yard due to the use of too-heavy equipment on a still-wet yard. After GH left, it looked like a car did burnouts on our front yard. Calls and emails into customer service have failed to produce even an acknowledgement. Horrible experience.

Every time confronted about mowing to the property line, has been dismissed and ignored, they are to clean up as well as mow our half acre yard and by the time we ad noticed what they were doing, the overgrowth showed they mowed only. About 70% of the yard any attempt at talking to the lead of the crew was dismissed or had a language barrier. I dont recommend.

Be warned! They turned a pyramidal boxwood into a round boxwood. They turned a round yew into a one side rectangular yew. They do not call in advance. You have to look for an email that comes 30 minutes before they arrive and you have no idea on which day they will be arriving.

This place is great. We hired them for the annual 6 fertilizer treatments this year.. I have always had great intentions and planned to do it myself since it saves a lot. Well.. every year I am lucky if I get more than 1 treatment done. They showed up as hired. Zipped around the yard in 10 minutes. Lawn looks great. What got me to try them besides my inability to get it done myself was the price. The price is amazing, about half of any other bid. The cost per treatment was about 30% more than if I did myself. Great price and now the lawn actually gets fertilized!

We were supposed to have sod installed between May and June. After several communications, the company installed the sod in mid-September without any communication with us. After we checked with them about an update two weeks later, they reported that they have already installed it. By that time, we found out that they installed it mid-September (3-4 months after projected date) at the front yard instead of the backyard, and the sod is already dry/yellow as we never watered it appropriately given that we did not know a new sod was installed. After we communicated again with the company to let them know that sod was installed without communicating with us, wrong place, and already dry because of their lack of professional communication, their response was: There where no notes listed on the account, if you want to sign up for another order we can provide with a 25% percent discount. Please let us know . I would definitely not recommend to work with this company.

GH has come a long way! They do great work, especially spring and fall cleanup. Mowing is consistent and on time, snow removal is spot on! They offer a 1/2 trigger depth which is the lowest Ive seen in the metro. Responsive to feedback and my crew is awesome! =)

Good value: prices seem fair. I like the ability to order extra services through the website. And if I want to make adjustments to the mowing services (for example, dont mow the front yard this week) just a quick email and they make the adjustment.

Contracted with them for fall lawn clean up. Crew came out on a Friday and piled the lawn debris at the front curb. Crew was back on Saturday and removed my neighbors leaves which was done the same day but they skipped my house. My email on Sunday went unanswered so my wife called on Monday. We were assured they would be there Monday or Tuesday the latest. Come Wednesday no response. No customer services what so ever. Avoid them like the plague.

Snow removal

We hired Green Horizons over the late summer/early fall for mowing and gardening services. We also ordered fall aeration services that I requested in the notes to not be done until September as I ordered in August. They ignored the instructions and completed the aeration in August without notice. During the last session of gardening services they cut down all of the bushes and perennials in our yard. I emailed and to ask what happened and didnt receive a response. Two weeks later I followed up to ask again and they responded that they would refund the gardening services. Its been a month since they promised a refund and we have not received any money back. I even followed up again a few weeks ago to ask about it to no response. The destruction of property was unacceptable. The communication from customer service has been terrible. Furthermore, the proposed solution to refund the gardening services was never completed and in my opinion, wasnt reasonable to begin with. The gardening service cost me less than $100 but the destruction of property will cost me much more than that to fix.

I would appreciate they keep their word and show up when they say they will to remove the leaves as part of their fall cleanup package that was paid for. Now instead of one pile of leaves we have 2 piles of leaves because they were too lazy to condense them into one area. Its like pulling teeth just to get them to make things right and show up and finish the job.

12/14/2022 - They did not show up to plow our driveway. We shoveled it ourselves. Then, we received a text at 6:30 pm asking us to review their service. They better not try to charge us. What s worse, I m laid up with a broken ankle and really thought I could depend on this service.

I hired them for seasonal snowplowing of my driveway, paid in advance (to my chagrin). Yesterday the City of Plymouth declared a snow emergency, which they only do when 2 inches have fallen. My contract is for 1.5. I emailed to ensure they were coming, and was told it was only half an inch. I called to discuss, and their employee looked up my account and told me they definitely WERE coming, so I did not snowblow. I waited all day and night, and they did not come, creating a mess of my driveway that I had to take care of myself this morning. When I called to discuss today, the man simply kept repeating that they were coming for the current snowfall. He did not care about my experience yesterday, and he did not care that one of his employees explicitly told me they were coming. He just shrugged. Even if it was not 2 inches, I should have received correct info when I called. When they made a false promise, they should at least be sorry about it. My trust in them is gone.

I have used Green Horizons for years. When I have trouble they are not very customer service oriented. I also do not get a response right away and many times have had to email and call to get a response from them. I also use them for snow plow services. In the past they always came late but did a decent job. This year they are coming early, but are damaging my yard and not completing the job. I have emailed them and sent pictures. I have asked that they repair the lawn this spring. However so far I have not received a response from them. Unfortunately I would not recommend their services.

SNOW REMOVAL: IF and when they do show up, the snow plowing service is OK. No one ever answers the phone, even during M-Th business hours. Phone calls go directly to voicemail and voicemail is always full so you can t even leave a message. Responses via email are few, if ever. This business can only get better.

Don t hire for snow removal. They don t come in a timely manner & when they do the snow has already been compacted by cars, so there s semi-permanent ice on driveway for the whole season. They don t do walkways, stairs or around garden & trash area. When they finally do show up, the job is half done & we ve done most of it because we can t wait 8 more hours for them to show up. No one answers the phone. They text stating that the job has been done & no one came to the house! It s insanity!

There are 2 facets to their business - they get 4 star for lawn care and 2 star for winter services. Hence the average of 3. With lawn care - They are pretty good with the services offered. utilizing them for over 8 years now. No complaints. I would like some proactive recommendations from them on what can I do keep the lawns healthy but I can do my own research. With winter services - I tried to leverage theirs for this season to consolidate and keep it together. Boy! was that a bad decision! Their snow plough services, communications around it, effectiveness - terrible. I end up doing the snow clearing before they show up as they flatten the snow and pack them in on the drive way. Customer service is non-existent. Wouldnt recommend.

Used the fall clean up service and they did a good job but didnt came until after the snow fell. Snow plow service is terrible. Nev er know if or when they are coming. I have been plowed in my driveway seversl times by the city plow and GH will not come back to plow me out.

Snow plowing service was good a couple of years ago. Now they dont come until 8 or more hours after snow has stopped. No plowing during the snow even after 6+ inches have fallen. Customer Service response is always were coming tonight hours and hours after you need to get out of your driveway.

Weve used GH for a few years for grass cutting & plowing. We will not be renewing any contracts. About 1 in 4 times they plow they do a terrible job and leave piles of snow on our driveway or dont plow a significant portion of the area they are contracted to. They also stop answering the phones every time there is a snowstorm. We just waited 3 days to get plowed out and no one would respond to us or give us an ETA. They plowed us twice during this storm. In the first plow they left a 4 snowbank across the middle of our driveway (not the end), blocking our cars in. Then they didnt come back until almost 30 hours after the snow stopped flying (again, not answering phones or email). It would have been really nice to at least have an update when they cant make it out within their contracted amount of time instead of going silent. They pushed all my driveways snow straight across our street and buried the blocks fire hydrant in 6 of snow. Again, they wouldnt answer phones or email (voicemail full). I finally got someone on the phone a week later and they said they sent someone to look at the fire hydrant. They admitted they couldnt find it at first because its so buried. They claim its the city plows fault and its not their problem. That spot across the street from my driveway (where my neighbors witnessed GH put snow) is the only spot on the whole street where snowbank is taller than the fallen snow. Its twice as high and 4x as wide. There are plow marks from someone pushing the snow perpendicular to the street. Its clear as day that GH is in the wrong but they refuse to come clean it out. They are willing to take the time to send a truck out to look at what they did but theyre not willing to take 10m and right their wrong with a long time customer. Instead they chose to double down on their lie. I pay to have it plowed because I have back problems - yet I am out shoveling 25% of the time they come because they do a sloppy job. Dont use Green Horizons!

The rudest service I have seen in Minneapolis, rude on the phone, contracted them for all season to snow plow my driveway and they did not. I get charged for services I don t get. Worst lawn service as well. Have been their customer for 10years! They are getting worse year over year!

I hired them for snow plowing and shoveling. Expensive for only being here for 15 minutes. At least one driver didnt speak English and didnt understand when I asked him to clear by my mailbox. Supposed to shovel my sidewalk but didnt clear the whole width. Just made a narrow path down the middle.
