Wonderful work for a fall clean up on our property where we have plants and shrubs that need to be professionally cutback. They even turned the mulch beds and cleaned up all leaves and potted plants and disposed of them. Very professional company. Highly recommend!

I have used Green Thumb twice now and both times have gotten exceptional work. The fence they built me looks stunning and can t wait to see how the garden looks this summer. They are always on time and get the job done in a timely manner. Keri and her team are top quality and I highly recommend them for any work you need done outside.

So I set up an appointment with the VP of Business Development to quote out a pretty decent amount of work. She was a no show and tried to blame me for not confirming the appointment - which I clearly did confirm it. No worries, I reached out again and asked for another appointment - and Ive been totally ignored. Coming from the VP, this is very poor customer service.

I know there will be some excuse like, We are so busy this year, but honestly if you dont want new business, then just say so. I submitted a request online asking for a quote on a project to begin in Spring 2022. Simple front yard revival and backyard redo. The backyard is 28 x 23. I received a quote of $200,000. There was no viewing of the property. Just an outlandish $200,000 from out of absolutely nowhere. I told my friends to forget going to university, start your own landscaping business in Burlington. As for Green Thumb, they are just too busy, so perhaps you should move on. We are. Update Following Owners Reply As per the owners reply below...I have added my comments. BTW, patronizing a potential client is not a professional way to conduct business. A simple We are sorry for misunderstanding the project parameters. Perhaps, if we visit the property, we will have a better understanding and provide an updated quote. Instead, the owner of Green Thumb Landscaping has taken time from the busy schedule to post a ridiculous reply. The owners statement that their email was not a quote is interesting given I sent in the ask on the companys websites Get a Quote. The email I received from Green Thumb Landscaping states the following: Unfortunately, we are booked as far as consultations go for the next 6 weeks. I have forwarded your request to our sales VP, who has said that your request will likely be somewhere in the $200k range. If you are okay with this pricing and okay with waiting for a consult, please let me know and I will see when we will be able to fit you in. This is a quote, estimate or whatever they want to call it. The fact of the matter is Green Thumb Landscaping offered a quote for $200,000 that works out to over $250 per square foot. Secondly, it is not that I did not like the answer. Nor, that I was upset by the email. After all, there are hundreds of other landscaping companies to choose from that treat people with professionalism. The fact of the matter is Green Thumb Landscaping made a stupid quote while wasting my time and theirs. In fact, the amount of time the owner spent replying to my initial review is probably the same amount of time it would take for Green Thumb Landscaping to visit my property and provide a professional quote. That is simply prioritization. I am happy to read Green Thumb Landscapings 2021 season is going well. It is too bad Green Thumb Landscaping is not willing to consider projects for 2022 in a professional manner.

I had my overgrown garden cleared and replanted today. What a great experience. Theresa and Dave and their crew were wonderful. They go about their business and get it done. I can sit on my patio now and enjoy my updated garden. I am so happy with the results.

Met with the VP Business Development today for a quote on lawn cutting. $400 a month????!! Crazy. She did not like the fact that I was not interested in other services!! Obviously either does not want plain Jane business or is tremendously up charging for Oakville. The only saving grace is the office assistant is tremendous at providing great customer service!

This is one of many times that I have asked the same driver of his pick-up truck and trailer politely, if he could not park it directly at the base of our driveway. The same driver - I think he believes it is a game, is very rude and suggested that I shouldnt have a problem getting out - well I did and had to go into the oncoming traffic lane and drive over the side walk to exit my driveway. I took a photo so I could detail the inconvenience. My wife also had difficulty getting out when this truck and trailer was parked previously. It seems this individual with sandy blonde hair thinks this is a game vs. a safety concern. When I asked why he couldnt park in front of the clients yard which is twice as wide he said it might block their entrance - how ironic! I will speak to our neighbour so he knows how rude this driver/landscaper was. The driver also said - when I need the truck to be moved he would do that - I said I am leaving now and he continued to unload his equipment and did not move his truck or trailer. Oakville is a lovely community and we have lived here over 30 years. This driver doesnt realize how word gets around. I tried yesterday to call three times to bring this to the attention of someone who is capable of carrying on a civilized conversation at Green Thumb - the phone just kept on disconnecting either by the driver or a problem at the landscaping company with the phone systems. Now you have been made aware of two problems that you need to address. Unquestionably people can choose many different landscaping firms - Im glad I not using Green Thumb. Our landscaping company is always polite and sensitive to parking concerns. Lastly, you should probably consider using pylons before you cause an accident and by way of this review - you are on record for this concern, as well being on file with the Town of Oakville By-laws enforcement with a confirmed case number and flagged as this happening on multiple occasions on this street alone. Was it really worth being so flippant in your attitude and potentially causing an accident not just on our street but others? Hope others contemplating using a landscaping company take heed of this type of behaviour. Green Thumb gets two Thumbs Down for Attitude and Safety!

I just wanted to pass along my thanks to the wonderful men and women who have worked on our yard and gardens this season. It has never looked better! The edges are clean and perfect. Everything is trimmed and pruned to perfection. It just looks amazing. I would never be able to get it looking this beautiful.

.They asked way more than the initial quote. .I asked to install some tiles around the pool, which they said ok, however, when they started they said, we cannot install tiles, if I knew that, I would not hire green thumb for the job. The reason Im writing this review because they used my credit card without my permission. they asked for triple the initial quote, I told them that was not the initial price, they responded that they will get back to me later. a month passed and nobody called me. Then I knew why they did not get back to me as they said, because they took the money from my credit card without even telling me. over the years I dealt with some contractors, I never had anybody asked for credit card info.

This review is strictly on how these people operate in the community. They drive around like no one is on the road. No signals. They cut me off. Almost pushed me into the curb. If it wasnt for quick reactions there would have been a serious accident. Now I get it. Mistakes happen. But no signal. No nothing. Just a swerve over without a look going up guelph line. No wave of an apology. Nothing. Bad attitude. Not the way to drive a company vehicle

Green Thumb recently re-landscaped our front and back yards, including our pool area. From initial design, to hardscape and plant choice, through to installation and final completion they were amazing. Keri listened to what we liked and really delivered with the design - it is exactly what we were hoping for. She went over and above personally sourcing pavers, choosing the plants, shrubs and trees, as well as other elements of the design, resulting in gardens that we love. It was a tough project, removing an old concrete patio by hand, laying stone pavers in the front and back, as well as removing overgrown shrubs and plantings. The team was thorough, very friendly and courteous, answered all our questions and left our yard clean and organized each day. If you are looking for a landscape refresh or a complete renewal, I would highly recommend Green Thumb Landscaping.

Great landscaping

We have used Green Thumb for the past few years and are extremely satisfied. The staff that works on our lawn and garden are always polite, friendly and professional. Our front garden always looks great and they take a lot of care with our lawn to make sure it is just right. Weve had GT build us a backyard garden box for vegetables which our entire family enjoys working in and I dont hesitate to contact them when we have a new project or idea in mind. Working with Green Thumb has been a pleasurable experience. We had trees, perennials and interlocking stone work done to our specifications.
