Polo and his team did a fantastic job putting in pavers and building a fence around our back yard. The quality of work is excellent, the communication was always clear and timely, and the price was fair.

Polo and his crew helped us grade and irrigate our entire front yard along with a standing spigot. Hydroseed was subbed out, but they picked a quality service, and the grass has come in wonderfully. The border stones they placed along our fence look very nice and saved us money over using the same blocks as our retaining wall. Polo was very open to discussing the job details to make sure we were on the same page. When we wanted to make small adjustments, he worked to make it happen. One example was waiting for me to find a different spigot when the one he had purchased didn't match what we expected. Polo and his crew transformed our backyard into a beautiful outdoor living space. They are masters at design and creation of landscape and hardscape. Polo carefully listened to our vision and then took those ideas and expanded on them with the eye of an artist. They built a smokeless firepit, two patios and numerous stairs and paths with large rock features. They used premium materials and a special polymeric sand between pavers that does not wash away over time like plain sand. We appreciated their careful attention to detail and strong work ethic. We have gotten so many compliments on the yard and it has become our favorite place to visit, eat and relax. We highly recommend them and are already talking about additional projects we’d like to have done.

Polo and his team were a pleasure to work with. They took a steep slope in our backyard and built garden terraces and stairs using concrete blocks. From beginning to end, they were professional and precision builders, who showed up on time, were faithful to the budget, and left the work area neat and clean. We would do it again. Very happy!
Polo and his team are amazing! Polo gives an estimate on the spot, arrives early and works so very hard solving landscape challenges beautifully. He plans ahead with his stone work so we were able to remove the stones around the brackets and install the beams! He takes pride in his work and it shows! We hired ARC to build a large stone patio in a complex shape in our backyard. Polo provided a competitive quote, and after having him over to walk the job and discuss details, we knew we wanted to work with him. The team was skilled and professional, and we re really happy with the results. I especially appreciate their flexibility as we made some design decisions and adjustments on the fly. I would hire ARC again.

We realized after 20 years of railroad ties for steps from our drive way to the street, we needed something better. We called Polo and he arrived to look at the job exactly when he said he would. We had the quote within 48 hours. He and his crew completed the job when he said he would. The finished product was well beyond what we had envisioned. The pricing was very fair especially for the quality we were given. We would recommend him without reservation.

Polo and his team are professional, courteous, genuinely concerned for customer satisfaction, a pleasure to work with and experts at what they do. We had our whole front and back yards completely torn out and reconstructed. We started over essentially. Polo regraded our yard, installed a lawn and landscape irrigation system, removed our old patio and replaced it with a beautiful upgraded and larger patio. They replaced the entry stairs on our front porch and they pressure washed the existing driveway and my garage doors so everything would look new. A nice feature that Polo adds to Skagit Landscaping services is that he has so much experience that he can add great suggestions when youre stuck for an answer for what to do with a design element. This company isnt the cheapest and it isnt the most expensive but they really hit the mark for value. I wont mislead you. What we had done was expensive but what we got for the price was very much worth what we paid. Skagit Landscaping has done a few projects in my neighborhood and seeing what the did, how amazing the jobs turned out and how happy my neighbors were with the work influenced us to try their services. I would absolutely use them again from any small to large project. Polo and his team are my new landscapers as far as Im concerned. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

At the lower end of five bids, Polo and his guys did a fantastic job. Everyone walking by compliments us on how nice the garden retaining wall looks. And as a great example of his quality guarantee, after we noticed the stair steps they had built were slanted such that they would retain rainwater, he came back and tore out the old and rebuilt them several extra hours of unpaid labor, because he wanted to make it right. Nice, polite guys and really hard workers!

Polo and his team did site preparation on an area where a shed will be installed in my yard. I had difficulty getting any other local landscaper to even return calls. He was responsive to the fact that I was on a short timeline and even though he is working on a bigger project he managed to make time to get my job done. Polo obviously is very experienced and had good suggestions that I had not thought of for the site preparation. He was punctual and worked with his team to get the job done in a very timely manner. I am very pleased with the work and plan on future projects with Skagit Landscaping & ARC POLO LLC.
We had Polo and his team come work on our house this summer and we are so glad that we did. The paver patio he and his team built, along with the drainage improvements to the yard has greatly increased the functionality and enjoyment of our backyard as we move into the fall rainy season. He and his team also repaired a terraced portion of our back yard and its much easier to navigate now that the tiers are expanded and crumbling rock remove. The addition of the stairs on the south side of the house has also increased the safety to the property for everyone now that its not a steep slope and we all appreciate being able to access that side of the house safer.
