The third and current company is Kelly Green, who I just renewed for a second year (2024) of service. I did so because I was given a weed free, luscious lawn in 2023. They were on time and always kept me notified as to what was going on with the lawn. Five Star Company.

I ve been a customer for going on 5 years, for their weed control service. They are reliable, have good customer service, and remedy concerns in a timely fashion. A big plus is they don t put you on a list for constant telemarketing calls (unlike a national provider that never would take me off their list). Very happy with their service.

NOT LAWN CARE!! Lawn care is mowing, edging, weed control, etc. This company charged me 45+ dollars to spray my yard with round up. Thats it. Spent 5 minutes spraying my yard and leaves. When I asked what kind of lawn care service is that? They responded with, thats all we do. sorry. Now please pay us... Absolutely pathetic. I now pay the same price for someone else to ACTUALLY perform real lawn service. Dont waste your time or money on this sad excuse for a lawn care service company...

An appt was set up for someone to come put down my 1st application and to answer some questions I had about lawn pest control. They were a no show and I even called and left a voice mail with no return call. Disappointing how much customer service has declined over the years.

This company will charge you for services that you never requested, after treatments have been done; and at a ridiculous rate! Beware!! Edit- they claim that I was never a customer. Nice try- the account was under my wifes name. This was some time ago (7years). They had an opportunity to remedy the situation but chose not to respond for 7 full years. That should be an eye opener for anyone looking for true reviews. Dont want a bad review? Do things ethically.

2023 update: Sadly, we switched to a more affordable company 3 years ago. 2019:We have been with Kelly Green for many years. We dont even worry about our lawn in regard to fertilizing and weed control. Kelly Green treats at regular intervals. IF we see a concerning area, they come out between treatments without additional cost. (I think you have to be a regular customer for the between treatments to be free) Our guy, Caleb, even is super careful around our vegetable garden so as to not get chemicals on it.

They are really good at lawn care. They killed all the weeds and made our grass green. Loved their service. Check them out.

Have used for my lawn treatment and maintenance for several years at 2 different properties with great result. Awesome customer service, along with consistent and efficient treatments throughout the year. They will even come out outside of your scheduled maintenance treatment if not happy with results.

My husband and I had small worm-like insects that were taking over our home, genuinely 20-30 worms in our home per day that I would clean and get rid of. They were disgusting and we couldn t figure out how to get rid of them. Kelly green came out and did one treatment on our lawn and within days the worms were gone! We also had them treat our lawn for chiggers and mosquitos since they re so bad in the summer and this is the mildest summer we ve had yet! Excellent job and quick!!

I wish I had before/after pics to post because the difference after using Kelly Green Lawncare is so remarkable. I had nothing but weeds, and now I have healthy, mature grass. I have found the folks at Kelly Green to be responsive, professional, and very easy to work with. While weed control and lawn care is not cheap, they have worked with us to make it doable. I especially appreciate the advance notice that they will be coming out, so we can take care of our dogs accordingly. Customer service has been impeccable. Highly recommend.

I had some concerns with my lawn that I had been wanting to address and met with your guy (Eric Chenette) during my scheduled service this past week. I have never seen him before but have to say you have a winner there. He was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and willing to share with the layman. He offered some great suggestions on efforts I can employ to improve my lawn and landscaping without breaking the bank. He never seemed rushed to get to another job and took the time to address each of my concerns. Kelly Green has been doing my yard for a few years now and this was actually my first personal interaction with them. Although I never really see them doing their actual work, I have seen their impressive results. They are Silent Professionals and worth giving them a try.

I received a letter on my mail box from this company charging me a $120.00 for a service that they apparently did but I have never requested. The letter has my name and address. So I called the office to talk to billing department and the receptionist girl was a totally disrespectful and also hung up my call. I refused to gave her any information su Cj as my personal phone number, because I wanted them to tell me when and what number they have on file. The girl on the phone then said that she has non to do with the office or billing and she hung up. I m putting an official complain with the BBB because this is totally fraudulent. Unprofessionals and they are trying to steal people s money.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED We fired Kelly Green Lawncare two days ago, after having used them for 5-6 years. We try to buy local whenever possible, and the change to Kelly Green from Mega-Corporate Chemical Lawn originally seemed to have been a good choice in terms of both performance and price. In 2019 (pre-COVID), we began to notice that the lawn just didn t look good anymore. It got to the point that other lawncare providers were walking up to our front door doing cold sales pitches, because it appeared obvious to them that we didn t have a lawn service. We called Kelly Green, and they were very nice. They stated that they had had some problems with certain techs, and they were correcting the issues. If we d stay with them, we d be credited for the last two service calls, and the Manager would manage our yard personally to ensure that the job was being done right. We accepted, and stayed with them. Fast-forward to 2021. We were unimpressed again. The yard did not look thick and healthy. We had crabgrass, again. We had dandelions for the first time in 20 years. Clover was making a comeback in our yard. On Tuesday, I found out why. I was sitting in a room overlooking the street when the white Kelly Green van rolled up and parked. According to both my clock and the time the technician wrote on the invoice he left behind, it was 10:35am. The tech sat in the van for several minutes, using both his phone and some other device. He then got out and unstrapped the broadcast spreader from the rear of the van. He reached into the van and retrieved a bag that appeared to be about ¼ full (10 lbs?) which he loaded into the spreader. He then retrieved another bag from the van and proceeded to dump what appeared to be an equivalent amount into the spreader. With a broadcast spreader loaded with what appeared to be roughly 20 lbs of product, he proceeded to treat my entire lawn of about 26,000sqft of grass. He did not reload the spreader. As the product was stated to be a balanced fertilizer , I was surprised that he could effectively treat my entire yard with a fraction of a spreader load. The invoice also stated that the tech treated weeds as needed . As he walked/jogged past the dandelions, clover, and crabgrass without slowing, this simply did not happen. The tech then loaded the spreader back onto the rear of the van and spent a few more minutes with phone and clipboard before jumping out and sliding the invoice under my door mat. The tech then got back into the van and pulled away from my house. At 10:47am. Twelve (12) minutes after he had arrived. To be charitable, let s assume that he spent only half of his time sitting in the van, but that still means that he spent a grand total of only six (6) minutes actually servicing my lawn. Twelve minutes of total presence at my house, for an invoice of $131.61. That equates to an hourly rate of $658 per hour. You ll have to trust me on this, but my lawn DOES NOT look like it s getting $658/hr worth of care. Since January 1 of this year, Kelly Green Lawncare has invoiced me for five treatments, totaling $852.53. Since four of the five treatments were performed by the same tech who I observed on Tuesday doing such a pitifully poor job, when I look at my lawn I am of the very strong opinion that I have not actually received the services for which I have been billed. I did call Kelly Green, again. They were very nice, again. They made - essentially the same retention offer they made last time. This time I am not staying. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice Why 2 stars? They do get partial credit for being very nice on the phone and they do a solid job of letting you know they are coming, which is important to dog owners. They just dont seem to have anything like Quality Control, at all.

I always receive advance notice when they are coming to treat my yard. This is important, because I have dogs. Ive used Kelly Green for several years now and Im enjoying a 100% weed free lawn.

In 2018 I hired Kelly Green Lawn Care out of Burleson, TX for lawn and weed control after receiving a postcard in the mail. My home is located in Fort Worth, TX so the quote for weed control service had to be provided via email. Kelly Green Lawn Care pulled up my home via satellite and provided a quote. I needed more weed control service than the area quoted so I provided a picture with details of how far outside my fence line I would like to go. Kelly Green Lawn Care gave me a quote for lawn weed control and it was a lot cheaper than what I was paying so I accepted the offer. After a year of service with Kelly Green Lawn Care this is what my yard looked like. I repeatedly tried to get them to come back and look but all I got was lip service well send a technician over to spot spray. Looks like Kelly Green Lawn Care would need to spot spray the entire yard. The relationship started off a lot like they left my yard........ full of weeds. I learned a valuable lesson about weed control in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Good weed control companies cost more because theyre worth it.

When we contacted Kelly Green Lawn Service they responded quickly and even sent us an aerial view of our property. We thought they were so professional and were looking forward to getting our lawn healthy and green again. We had lots of weeds and thinning. We paid full price for the whole season and after 1 application we noticed a big difference with the weeds. But they didn t do anything about the thin patches and downright dry dirt. We ve tried to call over and over more than 5x to get someone to give us advice what to do or let us know if we can pay for more services to get out lawns thick and green. But no one ever calls back or texts. We are willing to pay more to just have them come out and let us know what we can do. We wanted those services they advertised to keep the soil to retain water and such but they haven t answered our calls. We have very many weeds that need to be spot treated that they say is free but never treat them or pull them out. I ve been doing them by hand. This company is HORRIBLE and I would never recommend them. I want to warn everyone to stay away and wait for another lawn service who actually wants your business. After this season is all done we have to wait for next year to get our yard healthy by ANOTHER service!!!

I am very concerned with the level of service with this company. I asked them to take care of my lawn. The first time they came out they did not have enough treatment to do the full yard. Then they said to wait 2 weeks to do a retreatment. then they came back and it had no impact on the year. I asked and sent them photos of the yard. They said to wait 2 weeks again. I waited and no impact. Then I call them again and they said they would send one of their supervisors along. It rained that day and I understand that but then they did not come out again until 2 weeks later. The yard after that did not improve again.. I called the lady and asked to cancel the service as there is no impact to my lawn. I asked her to come out and see if she did not believe me. She cancelled the service. Then I get a bill for the supposed service. I text her again and said I am not paying for a service I did not get. NO ANSWER. I get another text message for payment. Said the same thing and asked her to send someone to come see that my lawn has full of weeds. NO ANSWER. Then they text me again for a payment for a service I did not receive.. Dont know what to say but they are still asking for payment for a service I did not receive and they continue to text me for payment.

They take like forever to get a job done, scam scam scam. Beware of this company, they charge you without getting the lawn done. Called so many times but they didn t show up. Worst customer service ever.

I thought Id write a review here because their rating seems too low. Ive used Kelly Green Lawncare for over 5 years with no trouble and no weeds in my yard. Theyve kept my lawn nice with all of their promised treatments each year and the autopay has gone through with no billing trouble and no customer service trouble. Very disappointed in their service. I paid for a full yard treatment - both front and backyard. On two occasions I observed the technician only treating the front yard before leaving. On one recent occasion, I observed the technician drive up, park on street, wait 10 minutes and then leave without performing any work. A few days later I received a bill in the mail for treatment that was not applied. I have complained to the management, but the problems continue. I cannot recommend based on my personal experience.

We ve been customers of Kelly Green since 2014. Prior to that, our yard was in bad shape with poor color and being overrun by every kind of weed you can imagine despite our own attempts with applying fertilizer and weed killer. Now Kelly Green helps keep our yard nice and green with rarely a weed in sight. If you do experience a problem, like an area of weeds appearing, it is quick and easy to schedule a free service call. They have always been extremely responsive via email and phone, and they have always quickly answered any questions I had about their service or billing. Their techs always call or text me a day prior to coming by so I can unlock the gate to our back yard, and after they re done they always leave a form explaining what work they did that day and any specific instructions regarding watering or other instructions to care for your yard following their service. We appreciate the difference that Kelly Green has made for our yard!
