Tony and his crew did an absolutely amazing job with my property. They cut down 2 huge trees in my backyard using their state of the art equipment that reached over the roof of my house with a giant arm and claw. His crew did this in what felt like minutes, but literally in a couple of hours. Tony’s crew were not only Professional, but knowledgeable ,efficient, polite and tidy. Cleanup was superb and all in all I consider it to be job done with excellence!!! Above all, Tony by far has the lowest prices around. I had my free estimate and quote done by Tony, and not only did he beat all his competitors prices but Tony had my job done 2 days later. I would Also like to mention that his office staff are all very kind and personable. Many companies have staff members that LITERALLY just show up to collect a paycheck. Those people for the most part are not very helpful or friendly, Tony’s staff shined with respect and friendliness . You can really tell the difference between family owned and operated verses the other local tree services in the area. I would highly recommend Tony’s Tree and Landscaping for the job!
I hired Tony's tree service to trim the branches of a tree in my front yard mid October 2024. The original tree picture is attached. At the initial meeting we discussed specifically which branches I wanted trimmed simply because they were very close to the house. He gave me a quote, stated that they would be out to complete the work within 3-5 business days and I paid a 50% deposit. After 10 business days, I contacted the office because the work wasn't done and I hadn't heard anything. The office staff said oh it will get done soon which I didn't care for. She called me the next day and the work was completed. Unfortunately, instead of trimming the branches of the tree near my house, they cut down to the trunk all of the lower branches of my beautiful tree. At the initial meeting, Tony made a comment, oh we wont cut down your swing branch. In my head, I was thinking of course you won't, it's nowhere near my house. Attached it what they left of that branch. They did cut down 3 birdhouses and an additional branch that had another swing mount on it. So now I am left with this ridiculous looking tree and have been trying to get a refund from them for a month only to be met with excuses. We had a meeting 12/2/24 scheduled to get my refund which Tony cancelled 30 minutes ahead of time via text message. Watch out for this company.
There are a lot of really nice things to be said about Tony and his company, but suffice it to say that Tony's Tree Service exceeded my expectations in every regard: they were knowledgeable, efficient, and more than reasonable from a dollars and cents point of view. My property is full of very tall old trees, some of which were actually hanging over portions of the house. I was afraid they would need to be completely removed, too. Tony himself came out to give me a free estimate, though, at which time he assured me the trees were healthy and just needed some proper TLC--that is, pruning. Tony and his crew were here the next day. They showed up with everything they needed to do this job and, except for the fact that my trees look healthier and are no longer arching over the house anywhere, you cannot even tell they were here. You can't tell that serious bits of equipment were driving back and forth across the lawn either. Amazing. They were here for at least 5 hours, and there isn't even a twig on the lawn. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated the workmanship, the attention to detail, or the personal touch Tony provided throughout the process. If you have tree landscaping needs, I highly recommend Tony's Tree Service.
I have been a loyal customer of Tony’s since 2006 when he cleaned up after the October storm. 18 years later, my trees have aged out and Tony identified that it was only a matter of time before they became a real problem, like falling on the house. I am grateful he spent the time with me and strongly urged that all three of my beautiful maples be taken down.
We have a giant willow on the bank of pond. Tony was exceptional and very professional. They are a family owned business that has been around for generations. We needed the tree out of here asap because we are installing a fence next week. He made it happen for us the next day.

We would like to thank Tony and his crew for the emergency work on our Silver Maple. We were initially taken off guard as our neighbors were having trees removed from their property & wanted branches trimmed from our tree which overhung the property line. We asked the crew member to stop the trimming of our branches until we had a chance to speak with the neighbors & make a unilateral decision on how to proceed. In the spring of 2024, we employed an arborist to evaluate our tree noting there was a hollowed out branch leading to a hollowed out knot in the side of the tree. Wishing to keep the tree safe, the Arborist suggested to cable the branches in two spots to keep from losing the limbs. He never indicated the hollowed areas of the tree could lead to future problem or the ramifications & the legal rights our neighbors had to removing branches that overhang the lot line. Once the branches were removed, we discover the Arborist cabled a branch that was totally rotten. The section beyond the cable could have fallen and injured someone or caused damage to our neighbors home. Had it not been for taking down those overhanging branches, we could have had a major catastrophe. The service cleared 1/3 of the tree and now the tree would not be in the position to be stable & we could have further problems. We then decided the tree must come down. With the evidence starring us in the face, & more tree damage became apparent as the tree was dismantled, it became clearer we made the best decision. At some point the tree would have come down, either by an act of nature or by our choice. We chose the later. Tony and his men were very professional & courteous. They worked well as a team & even though this was not on their agenda today, everyone involved was patient and respectful of the situation. I would highly recommend Tony's Tree & Landscaping service to anyone who is questioning the viability of a beloved tree. Thank you Tony.

We recently had Tony s tree service remove five trees and ground two stumps. Two of the trees were over 100 years old and towered over 80 feet in height. Tony responded quickly to our request for a quote. Tony s crew showed up on the day promised and his crew set to work and simultaneously began taking down the trees. Tony made it a point, at the time of contracting, to mention the state-of-the-art equipment his company uses in removing trees and stumps. We were not disappointing in that regard. The crew worked in tandem with one another, cutting, shredding, cleaning up as they went along. By the end of the day the five trees were reduced to stumps, small pieces and wood chips. By the time the crew left on day one the lawn, driveway and surrounding sidewalks were cleaned of debris, the larger pieces of the tree were stacked for the next crew to haul away and the equipment was removed from my property. The larger pieces of the tree were picked up about 10 days later, the same day the stumps were ground out. All in all, we were pleased with the work performed by Tony s Tree service. His crew were professionals, worked hard and left the site very clean. Some reviews indicate Tony s Tree service left them hanging, left messes behind, were not responsive. Our experience was nothing like that at all. Tony was responsive, answered his cell phone every time I called, had very good follow up, met my expectations and his crew were professional and cleaned up the work site as they progressed with the job. The job was completed timely and we were satisfied with the work. The one thing I was not pleased with involved the machinery used for the stump removal. the person operating the stump remover crushed my walkway stones in the process of moving the machine across the lawn. No effort was made to repair the damaged slate squares.

The worst company that you can find out there, it s ridiculous high price and scam they never do what they promise. They destroyed my front and back yard after they left the wood of the tree they cut done for over 2 weeks. We agreed at first to include the stump grinding and they try to back out and said they didn t agree to do stumps! Which is not true and I had evidence. And after multiple calls and back and forth with an office visit they decided to finally grind my two stumps and they came did only one and left the other one. And even the one they did they left the grinded stump over in like a mountain and never picked it up. I don t even know at this point if the stump is grinded all the way, because I can t even see it!. And the guy they have who does the stumps he s the worst person that you want to deal with, very rude and dishonest and untrustworthy and unprofessional and untruthful person. Everything comes out of his mouth is lies. Overall experience is very very disappointing and I wouldn t recommend this company to anyone. It s a 100% scam. Stay away from this company!.

I was originally manipulated into sharing a good 5 star review for this company with a promise to knock a cpl hundred dollars off the total for it AND was told they d be here the beginning of the following week since they were supposedly doing other homes on our street, of course AFTER I paid for half the bill. (estimate was done on a thursday, the following monday was labor day so I expected them tuesday) well almost 3wks go by, not a peep and still nobody here!! don t bother calling the main phone number bc nobody answers!!! got a call this morning (9/18/24) at 11am the crew wld be over today. 6hrs later STILL NO crew and I get another phone call. oh they could not make it out, they will be there tomorrow! I suggest taking your business elsewhere to a company who ACTUALLY stands on their word!!! im absolutely regretting giving them a dime! oh! we ve also had to pay for storage of our camper this entire time so the equipment cld get in the driveway. more money lost! dude is a total con-artist!!! do NOT recommend!!!!!

To ALL SENIORS CITIZENS ..The crew from Tony s Trees did an outstanding job cleaning out trees, grinding Stumps and Landscpaing and haule ALL debris and weeds. They worked tirelessly from 8:00am until 7:30pm. They cleaned up all broken branches, etc. and left the property in Preston s condition. The cost was a very fair price which made doing more than we planned possible. Tomorrow they start the actual landscaping and I expect the same results as today. One happy costumer! They were the best PRICE and There Service was 2nd to NONE!

They never finished the job. After several weeks of calling - which no one from their actual company picks up their phones, theyve hired a third party service to take their inbound calls - we couldnt get anyone to come back nor get a refund issued for the uncompleted work. With that being said, we found another company who came and finished the job right away at an extremely fair price - Walter Tree LLC. I wouldnt recommend this company and do not plan to hire this company again in the future.

I would not use this service for any reason whatsoever. Go anywhere but here. Tony came out and offered me a quote to remove a couple trees. The price seemed high but there were service lines involved with the removal so it seemed fair at the time. However what really ruined the experience was that the price I was told and the price that I was charged for was not the same. Tony had added charges on top of the estimate one I had accepted almost I cancelled the work immediately and got another estimate that was 1/3 of the police he charged me. Don t trust this guy.

I hired Tony s service to cut down some trees around my house. They took away the bulky branches and left the tree trunks sitting on my front lawn. They were here March 21 24. I ve been calling them many times to come and pick up the tree trunks that are sitting on my front lawn, possibly Causing damage to my grass. I paid him cash money and I ve yet to hear anything about picking up these limbs. I am very upset with this company and I would not. recommend this company to anyone if you had luck with them good for you I also wrote a bad report in the Kenmore flyer about this company. They take the money and run as far as I m concerned.

Exactly why I stated that neighborhoods need to beware if they see Tonys in their area. So its my neighbors fault your crew cut branches out of my tree? I spoke to my neighbor and showed him pictures of your truck on my property and the cut branches the day this happened. He told me he never gave you permission to drive in-between our homes and he was shocked to see what your crew did to our tree. Furthermore, my spouse was home and had to stop your crew from further cutting branches out of our tree. So, they knew they were in the wrong. But ya...line 26 in the contract...blame my neighbor. Very frustrated that after multiple calls, messages left with your answering service, speaking with your team and two no show appointments by Tony that this is how you excuse your teams actions. A contract that neighbors never see, nor should they. No way to treat a veteran. No way to treat anyone for that matter. ************************** Neighborhoods Beware Tonys was contracted to cut down a tree in my neighbors backyard. In order to gain access to my neighbors tree, Tonys drove their large lift truck on my property and cut multiple branches off MY tree to gain access to my neighbors yard. No notice or permission was given by/to Tonys to conduct any of these actions. When Tonys crew was confronted on the day of their actions they looked very confused and unaware that they were on my property. Im now left with a Willow tree that is shaven on its one side. Ive filed a police report with my town. Ive called Tonys multiple times and been given the run around from Cindy, Mike and Tony himself. Tony was scheduled to come access the damage his crew committed twice, but twice he was a no show. Tonys is not a professional company in my opinion. I highly advise that if you see Tonys in your neighborhood that you ensure they do not damage your property or cut your trees.

What a disappointment Tony is. My wife and I wanted to make sure our tree was in good health and have it pruned back a bit from the house. Were new homeowners and I have no clue about trees so I called Tonys. Tony showed up and immediately began pointing out all the problems we had. He rambled off a long list of issues and even said Its dangerous, I wouldnt even stand under it. We felt gutted. We love that tree. It really is the perfect tree. Its very clear to me Tony was willing to cut down a perfectly healthy tree that he knew we wanted to keep. Why Tony?? Cutting down and not pruning is better for business? If you know exactly what you need to have done and are comfortable dealing with people like this go ahead and gamble. Family owned and operated company I see them all around my town, more specifically, theyve had to go through my yard to access my neighbors yards for tree removal. Theyve done work for all my neighbors and now I know why. I have a massive over 100ft tree whose branches are leaning over the side of my roof and have branches that are constantly coming down. Tony gave me a hard to beat quote for the tree removal, branches and grinding of the stump. Tony was very professional, answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. Highly recommend.
Honestly shocked. I called to schedule a service. They called back and gave me a date for the estimate. No one came and they called to reschedule. They did that again and gave me a date and again when the date came I got a call to reschedule and again for the third time the same thing, I asked and they said the person had COVID and they will call me again to reschedule and no one called. Tony has the most skilled tree trimmers/cutters in the region. I was amazed on how well they performed this very dangerous job in my backyard. Both trees were massive and surrounded power lines. They were efficient and impressive in handling the job. I would definitely use them again and recommend to anyone who needs trees removed or trimmed. I was given an appointment 2 weeks prior to the actual day they were suppose to come give me an estimate for trimming trees and possibly removing another. Texted me at 10am to remind of the appointment time that they would be here between 1-4pm, just for the owner to call me at 4pm to tell me he s still coming and was just running behind, didn t show, and then have the secretary call me after 6pm to say they had an emergency and have to reschedule to another appointment/ day and time in another weeks time. Probably the most discourteous, unprofessional and time wasting thing I ve had to experience in a very long time! I don t recommend this business at all unless you have time to waste for no apparent reason or another than just to do so. Never again!

This is a process review. The crew came and took a willow tree that was dangerously close to landing on our house. Amazing.
Tony, while he seems to be a nice guy, just does not do the work when agree upon. I had to contact them 4-5 times before he sent someone out - 3-4 weeks after he said it would be done. In doing the job, their truck ran over 20 - 18inch pavers and crushed them all. Nobody from the company called to tell me they broke anything and to say we will fix it. I had to call them and again bug them for 4 weeks before he finally set someone out to replace the pavers. Of course they installed them all wobbly because they did not use sand to level the pavers. Tony just informed me today that someone will be out tomorrow to level the pavers. Will see. But again, I had to contact him again to get him to say someone will be out tomorrow. This company does not know the word communication. The contract date was the 1st week of September. He said he would do it next week. They did it Sept 27th. Since then I have been trying to get the pavers fixed. All for one tree. In the end, Tony did get out there, as agreed upon this time, and fixed the pavers and it looks like new again. Thanks to Carol for all her support and effort.

The owner of this company is very difficult to work with! Cut the tree s 1/2 way, he demanded 3/4 of original quote before he would start,and never came back for atleast 3 weeks! Then crew came back on random days to cut remaining branches. They left limbs of 6 (75-100 ) trees in our yard surrounding the house. Very unprofessional and I am sorry I ever hired this company for the job. Owner is not loyal and doesn t communicate with customer at all. Do not consider Tony s Tree Co. for a job!!

I will state that this review was for services rendered a number of years ago, so I am hoping it has changed since but none-the-less a review of my experience with Tonys. I needed one approx 30 pine tree removed and called Tonys. Someone was out within the next 24 hours and provided a reasonable quote while being extremely professional and friendly. I unfortunately wrote a check at that time for the entire amount. In hindsight, that was my biggest mistake, They advised they were busy at the time but said due to the small nature of the job that they could get me in within a few days. No exact date/time was given as it seemed I would be fit in between jobs perhaps. Two weeks went by without as much of a phone call expressing sorrow that my tree had not been removed along with stump grinding. I called multiple times and nobody would call me back. I even stopped by the office and the young lady said there was nothing she could do. Since I had already given the check I was fearful of just having someone else do it or trying to cancel the check. Nobody at any point would just give me an even estimated time of arrival once the first two weeks past. The total lack of communication a business has is BY FAR the worst thing. I know their business gets delayed due to inclement weather, etc...but simply communicate with customers when that happens. I do not think that is unreasonable to ask. The job was finally completed about four weeks after my first encounter with the appraiser and it was done as requested, so no issues with that.

Tony came out to personally quote the removal of large overgrown Cottonwood trees that had grown over our home and roadway. As a Veteran himself Tony extended a Veterans discount to help keep the project within our budget. They were fast and responsive being able to complete our project within a week and we did not have to wait months for the work to be completed. Ive heard horror stories about people getting screwed by tree guys. This company is the Good Guys. Integrity, trust worthy, and they do exactly what they say or quote. In a little over 2 hours they cut down 3 trees, trimmed and cleaned up. They have the coolest very expensive equipment that literally cuts the tree from the front and lifts it over the house to the equipment that chews it up. No one had to climb, or figure out which way the tree would fall, they are state of the art Tree Service. His crew cleaned up like it was their own house. Raking loose leaves and debris and then blowing the street of any wood dust etc. I live on social security and feel that Tony gave me sound advice and a great value. Hes the kind of guy you like right away. He is also a Veteran that saw active duty in war. His 80 year old father still goes out on jobs, you can just feel the family pride they have in their business. They also care about the community. While he was writing up my contract, he was on a phone call about buying little helmets for kids who will come and climb in the trucks, honk the horns. Sounds like fun! So I never write reviews, but felt the need this time around given the amount of negative reviews Ive seen for this Company. I called a handful of companys to quote me on taking down a very large maple tree in my back yard with power lines running through it, a shed next to it etc. and 10 large shrubs. Tonys was the last company i called and Tony himself came out to do the quote. Not only did his quote come in at thousands of dollars less that the others, it included taking down my large 75% dead ash tree on my front yard (which he recommended). He was very knowledgeable and explained every step of the process and said his crew would be there in a couple days. Now a lot of these other reviews state that Tony takes 90% of your money (50% deposit, 40% when the trees are dropped) up front and doesnt show up to do the work. Again, he discloses all this to you and you sign a form stating that you understand this so I am not sure why people are so confused. Anyways, 2 days went by and i received a courtesy call from Tony again stating that the crew would be starting the job that day. The crew showed up, laid rubber mats on the lawn, and were very nice to me and my wife. They dropped all the big branches that day and came back the following day to complete the job and hauled away all the wood. All Im waiting for is the stump grinding which he disclosed could take days/weeks to finish as 811 has to come out to your house and flag your gas, water, sewer, etc. before they can grind the stumps. Overall, they were a pleasure to work with, got the job done safely, and at thousands of dollars less that other companies. I will be calling them back up for my future jobs.

Said there was no other way it could be done. Gave me an outrageous quote and told me no other company would be able to do the job or would be able to get there the next day. I turned them down and called another company. They were able to remove the tree the next morning with no problem. No other trees taken. No fence came down. For a quarter of the price quoted to meby Tonys.I feel like they were trying to take advantage of the situation.

I am a happy customer of Tonys Tree Company. Tony came out to look at our trees, he told us important factual information concerning the state of our trees and literally saved us from potential multiple catastrophic damage of the home. We live on a heavily treed corner lot. Once quoted for 30 trees which were so badly diseased, dying, infested or dead, they set to work quickly. In a week all trees were down. Many people having a hand in helping to cut and shred branches. We are so thankful. It was only a miracle that these trees did not come down during our winds storms. Someone was looking out for us these three years of home ownership. The property was built up in the 70s along with quick growing trees too close to the home of large silver maples. They look different when they are all together and gave a very forested vibe. The truth was we were taking our lives in our own hands and tempting fate. Many people asked us what had happened, I spoke honestly about our experience, there was nothing to hide. Some people actually rang the bell to try to sway our opinion and choice of company. I try to look at everything objectively. We had no problems at all from start to finish. We are finished with the job now and as with any work there are unexpected obstacles: metal hooks that were imbedded in the trees, carpenter ant infestations, ash borer, rot and disease. There were at least 11 trees with metal occurrence, that means added expense because you cannot dump these at the same facility. I am satisfied customer that is extremely happy. Tonys Tree and Landscape Service is a great company, family owned for generations, committed to not only getting you the best price with their own equipment but also the most helpful and kind. We appreciate Tony, Tony Senior! and his crew. We appreciate the family within the community. They are there for the dire and the simple. I highly endorse their service.
I called Tony s tree services and they could not be any more professional! Got an estimate 1 day later in a timely manner! We are on a tight budget and let me tell you, Tony himself came to my house and gave us the best price ever! This started as a 5 star review but Ive needed to reduce my rating; when they came to grind the stumps, the workers were awesome but they hit my invisible fence wire. Im not mad that they did this as I figured they had some kind of insurance to cover costs like this but after reaching out to Tony inquiring about this, he has not responded to me once. Ive asked 3 times, once a week since they did the work and he has not answered me at all. I ended up paying $120 for invisible fence to come out and fix the wire, but at the very least, a hey man, sorry that happened but we cant cover it wouldve sufficed. Aside from that, this company was pleasant to work with from the beginning and we were able to come up with a reasonable price for taking down dying trees in my front yard. I recommend, however I will say to make sure you discuss ALL aspects of the job at the beginning and pricing (find out pricing for taking the wood away, wood chips from branches, etc).
I tried getting this company out to my house and they rescheduled 3 times then the owner calls and says he would be there personally and never showed up. Very sad and unprofessional.

UPDATE: Still no response from Tonys and the work has NEVER been completed. No refund for over charge, wood they charged to cut up and leave which they didnt do or for the unauthorized second withdrawal made 2 weeks later. Tony finally answered one of our calls, said he was on another call and hed call back .. surprise, he never called back. BEWARE and read your contract before signing..he has you sign that the work was done to your satisfaction BEFORE the work has even begun. This company is horrible, they take advantage of elderly people, over charge and do NOT finish the job. My parents, both in their late 80s hired Tonys to remove a tree that was hitting their home. Tony sold them on additional work they didnt really need (or want) and made them many promises, none of which were not kept. When the workers came out to do the job they were at the home for a total of 15 minutes and they were rude. They did cut down the trees but have never come back to finish the job or to grind the stumps. My parents had made arrangements with Tony to leave the wood from the trees they removed cut it into logs a service which he charged extra for, but they took all of the wood. Not only did Tony take the wood from their trees, hed also promised to leave them 2 extra face cords of wood on the front porch but did not. The contract price was $1,495. yet Tonys billed their card for $1,845. then two weeks later billed another $97. with no explanation. Now we cant get anyone from Tonys to return our calls to resolve the situation. Tony, you need to make this right, finish the job, give them their wood and return the funds you fraudulently took from the account of people who live on social security. KARMA CANT COME FAST ENOUGH FOR SOMEONE WHO TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY

Needed some trees down. Tony s tree service was working on a neighbors house , came over to look over what we needed done. Came over same day to start the job. Had everything done following day. Gave us a great price. Great crew working on the trees. Pleasure working directly with Tony.
I originally contracted with Tony s Tree & Landscaping in June of 2021 to remove a very large limb from one of my ash trees in my backyard. I was prepping for a major landscaping redesign throughout my entire backyard, and removing the limb would provide necessary sunlight to my yard. In the process of removing the limb, Tony s worker discovered the ash tree was infected with the Emerald Ash Borer. Pictures were taken, so we could validate the diagnosis. Tony (the owner) promptly inspected the 13 other ash trees on my property. He discovered all the trees were all infected. As heartbreaking as it was for me to agree to remove all 14 ash trees, his guidance was spot-on. Tony altered his crew s schedule to accommodate the immediate removal of my trees. He utilized his advanced, robotic truck to expedite the process. He was able to accomplish this project in two days, whereas a traditional tree removal process would have taken 5 days or more. Many of the trees were over 120 feet, so this was a massive undertaking. He also used a robotic device to promptly remove all 14 stumps in a matter of hours. My neighbors were so impressed that they, too, had their ash trees removed by Tony at the same time. Working with Tony was a real pleasure. Tony is high-paced and operates with a real sense of urgency. He is hands-on and stays involved from start to finish. He was willing to move mountains to ensure my complete satisfaction. I am grateful that I hired Tony and appreciate that he worked with me financially to make this project viable. If and when I need trees removed in the future, Tony will be my first call. And yes, he does provide his cell number to his customers! He gets my 5 star rating!

This company is trash! Had a contract to remove 3 small trees and to have a branch removed from a tree around my deck. Tony came out on 7/16 and stated theyll come do the work Tuesday the 20th or possibly Monday the 19th. Total amount was high ($1895), but I needed it done because I was having my deck rebuilt. I proceeded to call multiple times, during the whole weekend, because I needed to make changes to the service. All I kept getting was their answering service. Which is not in the office...But theyre a 24/7 service. So on the 19th I wake up to $918 transaction for them. I proceed to continually call them. I finally get a call back from a Maria who states, no one is scheduled to come to my house to do the work. So I asked, why take my money then if Im not scheduled? She stated, that was the deposit and used to moved the contract forward. But the earliest someone would be out to do the scheduled work wouldnt be for a week or 2 out! Which Tony lied to my face! I canceled the contract and requested my money back!! Its now 8/13 and still have not received my money! I disputed it with my bank and were still waiting! AVOID TONYS AT ALL COST. ITS MUCH BETTER SERVICES OUT THERE! DONT BELIEVE THE FAKE GOOD REVIEWS! BY THE WAY, I HAD A COMPANY COME OUT AND DO THE SAME WORK TONYS WAS SUPPOSE TO DO AND WAS CHARGED $475. THEY CAME OUT 2 DAYS AFTER I CALLED. AVOID TONYS...THANK ME LATER
Got here very quickly for some very critical service. After all was done, price was excessive and most of the wood was left on property. Equipment was also left for 5 days after completion of job. Get multiple quotes for future jobs.

Oh my goodness! This guy is amazing - NOT!!! I left a positive review 2 months ago before he did the work - because it was a requirement to get a good price. Since then, he has not done the work he contracted for, marked my trees with giant neon X s and will not take or return my phone calls. He took a substantial deposit, refuses to return it, and broke the contract - never having done the work nor planning to ever do the work. Wow. Please - steer clear of this guy. He is not ethical.

Do not waste your time and hard-earned money with this company. I had two trees removed from my property and one planted. I signed the estimate in the first week of October and the work was not completed until mid-December. Tony was impossible to get ahold of. I caught him in several lies and at the end, our final bill was much more than we were originally quoted. If you do make the mistake of using this company, make sure you have EVERYTHING in writing and make sure that things add up. They do not charge you the tax if you pay in cash... seems more than a little sketchy to me.
My next door neighbor had several trees removed by Tonys a week ago. To my disgust, they lifted the cut limbs over my house to bring to the front for removal. No one asked my permission, neither did Tonys workers clean-up the massive debris that was left on my property in the back yard (and roof) where a large tree bordering the property line was removed. It took three hours to gather the tree branches and debris left . Two things: Tonys disrespected my house which could have caused massive damage as well as my property. Neighbors BEWARE when you see Tonys!

His crew finished my neighbors and came right over to finish our yard! Tony had his guys do extra trimmings as well because he saw I have a young daughter and for he safety felt it was in her best interest! Incredibly nice group of guys and an absolute pleasure to work with! THESE GUYS WERE THE BEST and live up to the company motto! Highly recommend!

His work is done late, and not finished most of the time. He doesnt return phone calls when there are problems. Go read his reviews on facebook, they are nothing like these google reviews, which are probably all the people that left a review before the work was even completed. His prices will be cheaper, but you get what you pay for. I can even show you pictures of where his guys hit my shed with their truck and never told me about. Go read the reviews about the worker who pooped in the yard....you have been warned!
It took over 9 weeks to have my stump removed. I called every week without a single response from the company. Even after they finally came out, they did such a horrible job that I asked them to come back. Once again, there was no response. I ending up calling another company to complete they terrible job. Please be aware that they quoted me one price and then added a lot of additional charges I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

Wednesday, August 19, 2020 Yesterday, on 8/18/2020, Tony s Tree and Landscaping Inc. came out to our home to give us an estimate for the removal of three trees in our front yard. One tree was hitting power lines in several places, so we knew we had to get this job done immediately. Tony himself, one of the owners, came out to our home to give my husband the quote and just as he had promised, the trees were removed today. That s right, you heard me. Without any wait time of days, weeks or months later, Tony sent his crew out and they completed this job in less than an hour. To watch the professional teamwork these three men embodied today was phenomenal. They listened by watching each other s hand signals, all while avoiding taking down powerlines and curbing the traffic on what appeared to be at that time a busy road for traffic to yield and go around. What captured my attention most was the robotic machine lift/saw/clamp that was used to replace a manned cherry picker and chainsaw. This machine was meticulously controlled by a joy stick, like that of a conductor waving his wand to his orchestra. The operator of this machinery strategically knew the correct angle, height, width and length to move his controller, as he directed his jaws of death , to precisely remove each one of those trees varying in size, from skinny to wide. Never in my life, have I ever witnessed something like this before. That machine grabbed and held onto everything from a simple skinny tree branch to the bulky wide tree trunk, then raised each piece away from those nagging narrow power lines into midair, and landed safely on the curb where it awaited to be chopped and grinded. The trees are now gone with our power lines undisturbed, still intact. Those three men impeccably cleaned up every tree branch that fell in both our yard and our neighbor s yard. Not a tree branch or speck of sawdust remain on our property. Thank You, Tony s Tree and Landscaping Inc. These guys exceeded my expectations. They showed up the day after I gave them a deposit and made quick work of the job. Their radio controlled machine was incredible and what struck me was the attention to safety by the foreman and his crew. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. Tony the owner was onsite and he even gave quotes to some of my neighbors.
Tony will come out and do an estimate. He will always recommend more work than necessary and use fear to convince you to cut down trees. His estimate will be lower than competitors but usually contingent on that you leave a positive review before work begins. His fine print will state that you have to pay 50% up front, 40% when the trees are cut, 5% when the logs are removed and 5% when the stumps are ground. He collects as much money as he can on signed contracts, promises the work will start in 5 days then disappears for a few weeks. The remainder of the contract is structured so he holds all of your money. The logs, debris and stumps will remain incomplete on your property for weeks and in some cases months. Customer service at the home office is poor and sometimes hostile. Tony never picks up his cell phone and his voicemail is permanently full. If you need help or have a complaint it will go unheard. His Better Business Bureau rating fell to a C before it was removed and now he is no longer accredited. Dont be fooled by false and fake 5 star reviews. Pay a little more and save much frustration.

I m trying to figure out what would compel this company to hack off the upper portions of multiple vibrant birch trees at our neighbor s home in our small, pristine development in Brompton Woods, Williamsville NY...and just leave them that way. No competent tree service expert would recommend that, leave them in that state, or agree to even do it...outside of removing the trees in their entirety...which won t likely survive now. Truly unfortunate. We are collectively dumbfounded that they d want their name associated with that job.
Tonys gave us a professional and through review and estimate for the removal and trimming of numerous trees on our property. The timetable for doing the work fit well into our schedule and with a good price for the work to be done we anticipate a quality job.

This company Tonys tree service is a joke. I called six times over two weeks and never got a response back. You call and get transferred to two different people and they leave a message for you. Twice I had appointments and twice they canceled. The first time I can understand because it was raining but the second time it was a clear day and when I called them back, they never responded back to me. I cant believe a reputable company like this treats potential customers that have a huge job like this.

These people are the worst of the worst customer service. Tony is focused on his other professions. They have not made good on promise to repair sprinkler damage when removing tree trunk. Avoid
I recently purchased a new home and had some trees that needed removing. I received several quotes from tree removal services and was planning to call Tonys. As I drove down my street, Tonys was doing work on a neighbors house. I stopped and asked for a quote and was fortunate enough to meet Tony. Previously we had met and his company was a third generation business, now its a fourth generation business! Tony came to my home and assessed the mess my homes previous owner left for me. Ironically, Tony had done work there previously (ten plus years ago). Tonys price was $700 dollars lower than the lowest estimate I received. He was also able to perform the work that day since his crew was just down the street. I immediately returned home and wrote a check to get the work done. Not only did I save money using Tonys, the experience and job his staff did was second to none. My new home looks amazing and the 80 year old Maple they took out went flawlessly. I would recommend Tonys service to anyone, his team was professional and performed the work in a timely manner. I am very thankful I ran into Tony that day, I would recommend his company to anyone I know that needs work done.
My 85 year old mother paid to have 3 trees removed and several more trimmed last October. He encouraged her to pay the full price up front and hed take care of it the next day. Now its 9 months later and 1 dead tree remains, marked with an orange X and despite MANY calls asking for a status update on when they will finish the job, the tree remains. Noone calls back and they have her money. DEFINITELY DO NOT PAY IN FULL IN ADVANCE!!!
**dont fear tonys tree was here** We had our 64 year old tree crack in the middle of the trunk (8feet in diameter). The tree came down on the house. We were just getting home and were lucky enough not to get crushed by the massive tree. We called the clevehill fire who responded really quick. They said it is a nyseg issue. So they put a call out for us to nyseg. Nyseg came to take pictures at 1230A.M. for them to call this morning and say they dont touch the issue if the tree is on the house. Called tonys and they responded in minutes. And crew was here within 10 min to take care of the problem. Due to quick response they saved our home. Unfortunately NYSEG is a big waste of time. And the poor crew is risking their lives with live wires that should of been taken care of with nyseg. Tonys is the only one that came thru to help us and very nice guys. Would reccomend them in a heartbeat!!!! Emergency tree service at its best. If we would of waited any longer we could of had a house fire or with the amount of weight on our house had the roof cave in. We thru a ball to tony and he came thru with the TOUCHDOWN. Tonys tree service definitely has all the right trucks...equipment...staff...experience..training...Knowledge and customer service is off the chain. They truly live up to their motto.. Fast, courteous, and honest. Was there in an emergency for my neighbor and then a late job to take care of me as well. Couldn t have asked for a better deal or quicker service. Even met with Tony personally before and during the job! Wouldn t have gone anywhere else!!
Our experience was amazing! They came prepared with all the right trucks and equipment. They worked diligently and were very professional. Our yard is a whole new place thanks to them! They are the best heck with the rest!

As a teacher, who does his research in looking for a fair price for a good job, I had 4 different companies bid on the removal of a giant silver maple tree in my backyard. I assumed that Tony s Tree service would cost the most, but I was completely wrong! The size and efficiency of Tony s actually benefited me for their bid was over $1500 lower than the highest bid. Tony and his crew were able to get my entire tree removed and stump ground in a very timely matter despite a very long spring full of rain that put a lot of demand on all the tree service companies. I found the best of the best right in my back yard! I saw my neighbor having their trees taken down. I inquired with about getting a quote for my tree to be removed. Tony personally came over to give us a quote. We have gotten quotes in the past and his was the best and cheapest by far! What other company s charged for trimming the tree his price for removing the tree and grinding the stump out was much cheaper.

Tony is great! His prices were almost half the cost of his competitors. He is man of his word. His crew was polite, friendly, professional and hardworking. Other companies took weeks to come and give a quote. Tony only took a day. They came out did the Quote, answered ALL my questions, Came out within a couple of days, did the job, (and DID EXACTLY what he SAID he would do and for the AWESOME PRICE HE SAID he would do it For) I would ABSOLUTELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tony Tree and Landscaping to friends and family.

We called Tony s after moving into a new home. There was a huge tree behind the garage that was by all rights dead. The trunk was hollow and severely damaged. Tony came out himself at 730 pm to assess the situation and the tree was out the next morning. The tree was so big that if it had fallen it would have taken out the garage and the house!! They saved the day. The men that came out were extremely polite and so tidy. Can t say enough good about the whole process. Funny thing is we called multiple places and no one returned calls! Thank you 1000 times for saving my house!!!!

Life savers!!! Tonys 24 hr Emergency tree service Service came and removed trees that had damaged my vehicle less than 8 hours after the initial call .And to think this was Labor day weekend..They come highly recommended and the owner Tony is also very personable , professional & knowledgeable .He even took the time out to help me with my insurance claims. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future.
Third time using them for a reason. Completely reasonable prices. Did the work fast. The guys were polite and cleaned up the branches, etc. Dont go with other businesses just because they are willing to undercut prices. You wont get the service that you get from Tonys

Doesnt return calls after they start and never complete the job. We got tired of looking at the huge tree limbs on our front yard so we had family come help cut up and move the logs from our yard with us. Then Tonys decides to falsely charge us for the logs they removed when in reality did no such thing. They are a terribly unreliable company who should never be used especially if you want the job complete. Trust all of the one star ratings.
So, where to begin...At first they were fairly prompt with coming to provide a quote and *start* the work - this was back in May. They were here for an entire day and managed to cut down a few tree limbs, part of another tree and eventually the trees in our front yard (not the stumps though). After roughly 4 calls back to them, with no return call by the way, they came back out to grind the stumps in the front yard - keep in mind they never called me back they just showed up to Im assuming make me happy. Well, after another dozen or so calls back to them I still havent received a call back. Like anyone else I got frustrated, called them back and told them to cancel the rest of the work. Oh, they charged my credit card too before any of the work was done. So naturally I had my credit card company reverse the charge and then a couple days ago (10/2/19) I received an unexpected charge to my credit card. From who you ask? From Tonys trees. After realizing how much wood I actually had laying on my front yard (originally I did NOT ask them to remove the wood) and the fact it would take me a long time to cut it and move it, I ended up asking them to take it away. I called and spoke to someone and informed them that I still havent gotten a call back and I wanted to additionally have them remove the logs. Well, as previously mentioned, I never got a call back - ever - and my brother-in-law, wife, and myself ended up cutting the wood and moving it. They charged me, yet again, for work that they didnt do. Thankfully my credit card company called and informed me of the charges and is taking care of it. Ive already told multiple people not to even bother getting an estimate from these people and I plan on reaching out to the BBB. What really gets me is that they take care of veterans. Lol. A friend that initially recommended Tonys Trees (hes also having issues getting the work completed) and myself are both veterans so Im curious as to how often they use the we take care of veterans speech on people. We were also asked to write a review before the work was done, not sure why. Im glad I didnt. Just do yourself a favor and avoid this company.
My family and I had a few different quotes for the removal of one bothersome tree in our front yard. No other companies were as polite and thorough during the quoting process as Tony s. Since their prices were so great we decided to remove a few trees. The trees we had them cut were very large so we were nervous but they came more than prepared and I m sure they could handle even bigger jobs. Their thoroughness continued throughout our experience, all of their work was excellent and they clean up very well. I highly recommend them for their professionalism as well as their reasonable pricing.

If I could give a no star review I would.. not only did I pay over 3 grand to have my tree cut down but I wanted to keep the wood to use for bonfires. I requested that they cut the wood into manageable pieces so we could move it and they did nothing of the sort.. they left pieces that are literally 3-4 hundred lbs.. I ve called them several times to no avail. Now I have to call someone else to cut it up smaller.. the only good thing about this situation is that the dangerous tree is no longer at risk of falling on my house or car.. I would never ever recommend Tony s tree service to anyone...
Tony showed up the day I called, in the rain, and on time. I called a dozen other places and either got zero call backs, or broken promises. Tony gave me a quote and scheduled the removal for the next day. I hope I dont have to deal with a damaged tree, again, but if I do, I will call Tonys first. And he supports his fellow Vets. Vets helping Vets. Follow up from the next day: They showed up on time and worked all day to remove all of the dead ash trees from my back yard. In cold and wet weather. These guys are awesome.
Tony came to our house on a Tuesday night for what we thought was some tree trimming and limb removal after the Halloween storm. Instead, he identified a number of mature trees that were compromised to the point of immediate danger to our home. Tony was very knowledgeable and responsive. Tony was able to schedule the tree removal for the very next day, giving us peace of mind before the wind storm that was expected the day before Thanksgiving. His crew arrived on time and were very professional. All the trees were taken down, giving us tremendous peace of mind. Remarkably, just as his tree removal crew was finishing the take-down, the wood crew arrived to haul away the tree trunks. The tree stumps will be taken care of in the next few weeks. We appreciate the priority that Tony gave us to avoid a potential life-threatening emergency. Before deciding on a tree service, we recommend that you contact this company for their expertise. Came quickly to give a quote but took forever to clean up and deal with the stumps. Had to go to the office with pictures of the mess in my yard to get them to come back. Cannot reach anyone by phone once they take your money. Would not have used him had he not been parked in my yard. Beware. My experience with Tony s trees was exceptional. Tony himself came out and bent over backwards to accommodate my young 86 year mother. Tony is a Army veteran from a family of veterans and my mothers father was a WWI veteran so they bonded immediately. I would highly recommend Tony to anyone in need of tree service. I had two very old, very large trees removed from my property by Tony s Tree and Landscaping. I live in a village where the houses are very close together and the trees towered high above at least 4 houses. Tony and his crew expertly removed those trees down to the fence line and told me that I would need to remove the fence and the posts before they could complete the job. As luck would have it, I discovered that two of the metal posts in one of the trees had become embedded in the roots of the tree and would not budge. For the next two months, I consulted with several different individuals trying to find a way to get the posts out. Ultimately, the consensus was that I probably wouldn t get them out and would have to fashion a new fence around or over the stump. So I met with Tony to arrange for his crew to come back and remove what they could. Andy (Tony s Dad) happened to be on site when I met with Tony and said if he could not remove the posts no one could. Well true to his word, Andy was at my house a couple hours later and patiently maneuvered the grinder until both posts were out! He was nothing short of amazing!!!!!! After months of stressing about how to get those posts out so I could replace that old chain link fence, Andy did it in no time.! I am forever grateful to Andy for his patience, tenacity and expertise. I highly recommend Tony s Tree and Landscaping.
