After a dispute that they did not refund ( a service was performed against our wishes) I said enough with this company after more than a few complaints on this. Then tonite we get a message that Fall aeration was being done tomorrow. Ummm NO thanks! Have neighbors happy with Tru-Green and if we decide to do this anymore will go there. Have been with Weed Man 6 years and treated badly since our move to Hamburg.
Absolute worse service I’ve ever had. They burnt my lawn and when asked to come out and take a look they never called me back or cam out. Can’t talk directly to manager, therefore leaving you to deal with their ignorant answering service. The most weeds I’ve ever had in my lawn coming from a service called”weed man” smh
Weedman came unannounced to aerate the lawn. With no regard for common sense they dragged up the huge aerater with spikes up my sidewalk step to the back yard , despite me telling them last year front yard only. They tore 2 holes in landscaped steps. The manger Janet was uncaring and rude. She offered $25 to repair which would not cover the repair materials.. She was very nasty on the phone and I sorry I gave them many years of business
10/23 Update. I reached out via text on 10/15 as instructed. I was told a check was mailed out the week before to compensate for some of the damages and that works for me. A week after the text, and keep in mind the check was in the mail according to them, I haven’t gotten a check. I sent two more very short texts on 10/22 and 10/23, no reply. At least they are consistent in not replying. I think it is time I reach out to corporate. After 2 emails and a portal message to Weedman in the past 2 weeks, I have NOT gotten a response. I had my lawn aerated. The tech told me with the grass being wet, some parts in the backyard were torn up a bit, I told him not to worry and looks fine to me. The issue I have is the other two things he didn’t tell me about. In the front yard, the sewer cleanout was ran over with the machine and is now broken. Second, the AC unit was hit with the lawn machine and pushed back about an inch or two. Both are small mistakes, and it happens, I get it. I’m upset that it wasn’t mentioned to me and the company overall lacks accountability. I've made them aware of the situation, yet they are choosing not to respond, come on, it has been almost 2 weeks and after 3 attempts of me reaching out, they still have not returned an email or a portal message.
Advice: don't ever pay in advance for this service. Last year, we paid "per service" and they came out faithfully. Then in December they called and asked if we'd like to save money by paying for the entire next session in full, we agreed, what a mistake that was! They never show up on time, we had to call them 3 out of the last 5 months and they still haven't been out this month either. They were supposed to come on the 10th each month, numerous times we have to call to remind them. Their responses is that they don't have enough techs
They seemed to do a pretty good job first year we used them, but have gotten progressively worse. This year the lawn is even weedier than it was before they first started. They refused to come back and respray for weeds as I had opted out of the grub treatment. Will be trying TruGreen next year
I have a contractor at my house that ripped apart my back lawn. Weed man called to say they were coming the day prior. I told them not to as the lawn was torn apart. They came anyways. I called immediately when I noticed them on ring camera. They said they wouldn’t spray. They sprayed anyways and charged me for it. They literally sprayed just dirt. I am having work done tomorrow they have interfered with and my dogs have been out in the yard because they weren’t supposed to come and now they have tracked pesticides throughout my entire home. My kid was on the lawn that they said they weren’t going to spray. Additionally, they did the Application in the rain. What is the point of that ? Just to charge me. Do not use these people. They do not care about your safety. They literally didn’t even spray grass. Go to a reputable company that cares I included pics of the places they did “lawn care “
For years my lawn presented with lush and beauty. Yes, maintaining a lawn is a joint effort …however , just as our lives change so do businesses and personnel. Today. The verbal interaction regarding my dissatisfaction with “over fertilization” was dismissed by customer service. What would u do??
Customer service SUCKS!! I ve called 5x and sent an email regarding an invoice I m not paying because they treated the wrong house! Nice enough staff that came to my door to offer a free quote. That s where the mistake happened in accepting the free quote and now getting an in inordinate amount of calls. Don t call me I ll call you, thanks.

I m not gonna leave a 1 star review because I m sure you do great work, but one of your drivers was going 70+ in the 45mph stretch of 104 (Lockport) passing 5 cars (including myself) despite the double lines on the road. This happened at 3:15pm on 4/15/23. I know I d like to know if someone is beating on my company s vehicles.
Talked about sending someone out to give me a quote on what exactly I would need for my lawn and they were reluctant without me buying one of the package deals they were offering

I bought an annual package for over $700 and my lawn is covered in weeds, specifically clover. I have called twice and they claim someone fill be out address this issue and never show. Take your business elsewhere this is a scam company.
when girl called me to tell me they would be out to do my lawn she said there will be a grub control application. i told her i did not want it but when the guy came to do my lawn he applied the grub control. i immediately called weed man whlen i saw i was billed and charged $73 for it. i called weed man 5 times about this poroblem but never heard from them. today i called and was told that i did not cancel it in time so i was billed for it. how could i have cancelled it late when i told the girl when she schedled it i did not want it.. you can be assured that i will never do business with them again. it isl not the $73 dollars but the principle of doing business the correct way. very unprofessional. I ve had this service for 5+ years and found them to be responsive. This year, the lawn is full of weeds. The company refuses to address the problem because I m getting five applications instead of seven. I elected to stop the grub application , $120.40, and summer fertilizer, $88.03, totaling $208.43. Frankly, I don t understand why either application would impact weed treatment. I asked them to come out and evaluate the weeds in the lawn and they refused because I m not contracted for seven applications. I ve canceled and glad rid of this company s services. BTW, their customer service and sales service stinks.

They always call the day before service is about to come out. Everyone is courteous, especially the young lady calling. I am afraid I am sometimes abrupt with her when I answer as I get so many robo calls, but I do apologize for that.
Tevin came out a week ago, but we had the dog. He said he would reschedule he came back today at 8:00.he was great very nice and professional,he took care of the problem areas. I would recommend him to everyone.

Was Lied to! Told me they were out on my property, well guess what I have a door bell camera an just by walking on my lawn They Didnt show up!! Typically when you are lied to you want to make the customers happy. Instead they continue to cover up for the tec guy!! Very Unsatisfied an probably will Not use them next yr!!

I booked a core aeration service 2 weeks ago for a Thursday or Friday appointment. I called that Wednesday to verify which day they would be coming out and Nick tells me that his technician has been sick all week so they wont be out. Did you ever think of calling me to tell me this? Nope. So, try #2. Booked 2 weeks out for the same deal...Thursday or Friday. So, Thursday morning I call at 10:30 am to see when they are coming out...no call back and they never showed. I call again at 7:52 pm, leave another message and Nick calls me right back. He informs me that both of his technicians are out of state for training. Are you friggin kidding me? So once again they never called me to tell me any of this. Totally screwed me since I needed the core aeration done first before I can top dress and overseed my lawn. Completely wasted my time. Very unprofessional, poor communication, and just poor business practice...period.
This is my first year using Weed Man, They provided weed control for my lawn & also performed an aeration of my lawn. For most part, the applications went smooth & the aeration was done well. My only issue has been dealing with Creeping Charli in different parts of my lawn. I contacted Weed Man several times over a 5-month period to have it addressed. Their response was that the next treatment should take care of it. Unfortunately, it never did. I expected but did not receive a focused treatment to address the Creeping Charli.
We have a newly-sodded front lawn and requested weed control and feeding services from Weed Man. Since they began servicing our lawn, it looks like its dying.

Ive had the weed man for several years now, and I have not one complaint. Much better than TruGreen I had them many years ago and they were pitiful.
My lawn looks great, even with the hot dry summer I have a lush green lawn. I liked that they would call a day or two in advance to let me know they would be there. Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous. Thank you for your service.
They took my sad lawn of weeds and after a season, it looks so much better. They answer the phone promptly and really seem interested and involved in what is needed. If it s raining, they notify you when they will try to get back. I highly recommend them!

I contracted with Weed Man for annual weed control and fertilizer. The service was exactly what I had asked and paid for. As importantly my lawn looks better than ever and wife is happy. It as explained to me that it might take more than a single season to get rid of a particularly pernicious weed. While a few bits remain the unwanted weed is clearly on the path to being eradicated. I imagine it will always be a bit of an issue but the Weedman service has performed as promised and more besides.
Aeration and fertilization also. We appreciate all they do for us.

I ve been with Weed man for 4 years. Our lawn is one of the best on the street. The service is excellent. I called once because I had a couple weeds in one spot. The next day the owner was there. Sprayed and checked far any other missed.

The guy that treated my grass got sick,so after a week went by and no one showed up to treat my grass I called to see what was going on, The receptionist was so rude, she told me she didn t know when he was coming back and they didn t have anybody to send and she didn t know when my Grass was going to get treated, and so I asked her why no one called me she said they don t have to, and every time I had to call that office their receptionist was so rude so I canceled my service
I have treated my weeds without any success, and as a result, I thought that I would give Weed Man a try. There has been a considerable improvement after only two applications, and I am extremely satisfied.

This year was my first time using a lawn service. Considering the appearance and condition of the lawn when they started I didnt expect to as much of an improvement as has resulted. Their service techs were always professional, courteous and answered all my questions. I will continue having Weed Man care for my lawn.

I have used Weed Man since we moved into our home 5 years ago and use them for their 6 step treatment process. We have 3 young children and the fact Weed Man uses mostly no spray based chemicals and uses granules instead is huge!! Our lawn is one of the best in the neighborhood. I like that they call the day before coming so I can remove my dogs waste as well as move kids toys etc. Very professional and courteous. Definitely recommend!

Not understanding why people are talking about employees pay ive had lots of jobs overworked under payed. Its america were all just numbers. As far as weed man goes have had them for a few years now and they guarantee thier work. Zero complaints. Thnx weedman
Great service but very annoying calling all the time to get business back.
I had weedman service for over a year and the amount of weeds is my lawn is still out of control. I ve called a few times to let them know and they always send someone over to spray the weeds but the weeds are still here and now they have killed sections of my grass.

Helpful customer service. We just got 1st treatment, so the results wont bee seen for a season or 2. I hope its worth the $$. Several neighbors use them. Their lawns are beautiful.
Ive used them for a few years. For the most part, I was happy with them, but things took a turn this year. First, they seem to be really inconsistent with when they come. They started with service about a month later this year compared to last year. And every visit after that just seems random. The first year I used them, I had a really good idea of when they would arrive. But the main issue I had with them was they forced grub control service on us this year whether we wanted it or not. They used to call us constantly in past years to try and get us to add it, and I always said no. Then this year, I happened to notice a charge for it on my bill. I called customer service and they said the owner really felt every customer should do it because he was seeing major problems with grubs. Sorry, thats not how businesses operate. You cant charge me for a service I didnt ask for. Obviously this is a really high profit service for them if they kept calling us to try and get us to do it. Theyve lost my business.
This place is quality, great service, great people. I personally wouldn t let anyone else handle my weeds.
