I had them out for some sprinkler repair. The repairman listen to the issue, considered my thoughts and involved me in uncovering the problem. Its rare that you find this kind of customer service. While he was here I had him do a couple other things to our sprinkler system that werent planned because he gained my trust so easily. Simply by listening. Highly recommend lawn and landscape for sprinkler work!

Im a new customer with Lawn and Landscape Solutions, and started a lawn maintenance program and installed new sod and new trees, over the summer. There were some discrepancies with the timing of certain maintenance treatments, and they were understanding and accommodating. Lawn and Landscapes Solutions will now be coming back in the late Fall, to repeat the service that normally received during this time of the year, from a much larger company in town. As a new customer, Lawn and Landscape Solutions has been more personable with our lawn and landscape needs, and I dont feel like were just a number, like with the bigger company.

I have had an annual event of poor drainage in my back yard. The recent effort by Lawn & Lanscape Solutions has corrected this problem. It even handeled a 4 inch downpoor. Yes I now walk on wet lawn , but, It no longer is a lake!

Lawn & Landscape Solutions has exceeded expectations and has been a great value for us since day one. They have been on time and have more than fulfilled what they promised.

We have a challenging hill behind our house, covered with junipers, often interspersed with pesky tree shoots. About twice a year, Lawn and Landscape meticulously trims this area and beautifully sculpts the junipers. Recently, they also removed some shrubs in one of our gardens and added river rock - looks great while we decide what to plant there! Lawn & Landscape Solutions has our HIGHEST recommendation!

Seed was well sown, and is growing quite well. I had to do more seeding where the grass was disturbed when the Google fiber was laid last week. They put down sod, but there were areas that needed extra attention, which I handled. I called this morning and ask the the front at lease be mowed by a walk-behind and for the person mowing the be very careful not to disturb the new grass, just now coming out. This was my first time using Lawn & Landscape Solutions for maintenance of our sprinkler system. Scheduling the spring startup was easy. The technician identified two leaks during the startup, which required scheduling another date for the repair. The technician on the rescheduled date repaired the two leaks and started up the system. They provided outstanding service at a reasonable cost.

Great company that actually answers their phone when you call. I went back and forth with another landscaping company the does business via email and text and it was a pain. I ditched them and called Lawn & Landscape Solutions. After calling them I had a quote within 24hrs and my landscaping was fully mulched within 48hrs. Excellent service.

From the first phone call to Jess Hole, designer, to the completion of our total landscape project, this company and all of their employees were timely and very professional. Our house is 15 years old and the landscaping was overgrown and needed to be revamped. They prepared a design for us that we approved and they immediately started gathering the materials needed. They did drainage correction around our house, installed a new concrete patio and sidewalk, removed old plants and planted new ones. At the end of each day, they cleaned up all patios and sidewalks. I was very impressed with the quality of work they provided. Every time I called, they called me back in a timely manner and when they came to appointments they always showed up a little early. We couldnt be happier with the work that they did at our house. I would highly recommend them.

We hired Lawn and Landscape Solutions to do a major overhaul of our front yard. The project involved significant excavation, concrete formwork and pouring for a retaining wall foundation and new patio, a CMU block planter and stucco finish, brick masonry repair, relocation of an existing tree, and regrading of the front yard complete with new buried drains. It was complex and the design was specific and required a crew that could understand and execute a fairly detailed set of plans with great accuracy. The final product is excellent -- Sean (owner) and his employees are true experts with the experience and results to back it up. Will (our project manager) was totally up for the challenge, and he was fun to work with and a great problem solver with smart ideas about how to improve the design and function of our project. They were SO punctual and showed up with a huge crew every time they were on site, so the work was swift and efficient. Everyone in our neighborhood was impressed; trucks just kept rolling in and out seamlessly with no downtime waiting on the next crew. They were also really great about managing their subcontractors for the job, taking a lot of stress off us as home owners. Communication was also consistent throughout the process. We always knew what to expect each day. The other thing we continually observed was how much all the guys all seemed to enjoy working for the company (and everyone was super nice). We ve had a lot of crews at our house over the last three months, and it was refreshing to see guys that seemed like they enjoyed their work and felt good about the company they worked for and the people they worked with. Its important to us to work with companies that respect and take care of their employees, and we saw that play out with this project. Our neighborhood HOA contacts recommended Lawn & Landscape Solutions to us for demo and paver installation of our front courtyard. While we had obtained a scaled drawing of the proposed updates to this exterior space, we were super pleased with L&LS sales rep Jamie Gorkow who comfortably and expertly reviewed the drawing and discussed paver options with us and demonstrated his knowledge about the products and services. The estimate process went smoothly and was reasonable compared to other market quotes, but Jamies style differentiated L&LS allowing us to easily select them for our work. Field/project supervisor Tyler Lewis also did a very admirable job of initially partnering in handoff from Jamie to Tyler and the work crew and then daily checking in on the work being performed by an exceptional labor team that did the demolition of previous concrete and some brick and installation of the pavers and replacement of certain brick and mortar. We had solid trust in Tyler who consistently educated us and followed up on any questions or changes. We are very, very happy with the outcome and would certainly turn to Lawn & Landscape Solutions for any future hardscape needs. Bravo!

Weve worked with Lawn & Landscape for 5+ years now. Theyve handled virtually every detail of our yard, including lawn, shrub, tree and bed maintenance; landscape design; and irrigation management. The entire team is outstanding, but weve especially enjoyed working with Sean Baxter, president of the company. Hes super responsive to questions or concerns, and has been a great partner on some of the design improvements weve made to our landscape. But, to be sure, the entire team is top-notch. I highly recommend Lawn & Landscape Solutions! Our back yard had severe run-off from our rear neighbors yards, which was damaging our garage. We noticed from their website theyd done excellent work elsewhere in Brookside-- one down the street! -- and called them asking for an estimate for a retaining wall. We paid an upfront design fee, which was later deducted from the project total. Their design team was quick and thorough, and we iterated over four designs, balancing cost and aesthetic, until we arrived at happy medium. Jamie was a great help, outlining options and explaining the work. The estimate was detailed and easy to follow. Everything was incredibly professional. They didnt pressure us at all for a commitment, which was lovely considering we were about to have our first child. Once we saved up and the weather cleared, we paid a deposit and we were scheduled very soon after. I had no idea how difficult putting in a retaining wall would be. Over the course of 13 days, Peter and Ricardo worked (often in light to heavy rain) to excavate, repair, fortify, build and plant our amazing new backyard. We have plans to have a fence installed later this year, and they even worked with our fence contractor to place tubes for the posts. While the estimate was thorough, one of the things to keep in mind-- and Jamie told us this might happen-- is that change orders happen. In our case, we wanted the wall to be a bit higher, and decided the patio could use an extra foot or two of space. We also opted to add some of the plants from the original design wed put off until we saw the wall. In each case, Jamie sent a change order with costs which we approved. In short, there were no surprises when the work was completed and we paid the balance. Their warranty one everything is also clear and appropriate, though I doubt well need to exercise it. All in all, Lawn & Landscape Solutions did a wonderful job. Were so excited to enjoy our new back yard!

In this day and age, its nice to have a business do what they say they will do. I was very happy with Lawn & Landscape Solutions at every step of our project. My first meeting with Sean resulted in some good ideas. He followed up with a written plan and quote that was easy to understand. When it came time to do with work, his team was responsive and professional. After the job was completed, they followed up several times to make sure we were satisfied. It was a great experience.

Work Quality: fair as far as general landscape care. Their work results are average or less. They do not pay attention to detail. Clean up after shrub trimming is fair to poor. Reliability: fair as far as general landscape care. They do call before coming to the property, I do like that. They dont miss many appointments. Costs: ...as far as general landscape care. Labor costs are very expensive. I feel Ive been financially abused more than once. They try to push you into an annual contract. I feel Ive been neglected because I do NOT do an agreed contract with them. Staff: They appear friendly over the phone and in person. They appear to have a constant turn-over in staff. Its hard to know who will show up at your property at any given visit. It has been better in the last month or more. Weed and Feed Dept: Excellent service Closing Comment: The above might be common issues with landscape care in the Kansas City area. I was spoiled by 16+ years of excellent, economical landscape care of my home in Portland, Oregon. These people are the second company Ive tried. I may be looking at a 3rd company, but I may still have the same Kansas City problem with them.

Lawn & Landscape Solutions was recommended by a friend so I gave them a call. Ive now been using them for about 3 months. Here are some of the key differences Ive noticed: - No more tire ruts in my yard. Lawn looks great, they do a great job with chemical and seeding applications. - Better cleanup after mow. - Careful and diligent mowing staff - they take their time and dont rush. - Knowledgeable and courteous staff - easy to work with, schedule, they make good recommendations on services. - Prices are very competitive. - Accountable for their work - they check-in to find out how service quality is going. We left a dog leash in the yard by accident, it got damaged by a mower and they replaced it w/o us asking - this was really our fault, but they replaced it anyway. - Local business

Working with Sean and his team has been an absolute pleasure! In our first meeting he was able to put together a comprehensive landscaping plan that we have broken down into individual more manageable projects that they have executed over the past several years. He and his team are always incredibly responsive and the quality of the work has been second to none. We were very happy with the work Lawn & Landscape Solutions did for us. We started with a retaining wall, but plan to use them for other projects in the future. The communication and responsiveness were outstanding. The crew was very hardworking, and even carted off some debris we had sitting around.

Jamie gave us an accurate bid on the project and Robert and Ricardo did a great job completing the proposal. They created a small fieldstone patio in front of our porch stairs, removed and replaced a shrub, as well as edging, mulching and applying a reemergent weed control on all our garden beds. When I was struggling with a project of my own, they readily lent a hand. I would definitely hire them again.

CUSTOMER/BUYER BEWARE: I dealt with Scott at Lawn & Landscape Solutions. Scott sold me a 52 Wright Stander on March 28, 2016. Scott told me that the lawnmower just came from the shop had a clean bill of health and was ready to mow. L&LS was just selling the mower because they were moving away from the 52. One of the blades was upside down (should of been a clue on my part) Scott was nice enough to flip the blade over and told me the shop must of put it on upside down. (found out later that the blade was bent, probably why it was upside down) Within two weeks/ under 10 hours of mowing I discovered the mower to be leaking from underneath by the rear wheel. I took the mower to Reynolds Lawn and Leisure in Shawnee, they informed me that the wheel motor needed to be replaced and appeared to have been leaking for some time now. $700 part. I called Scott on the telephone, informed him of the situation and asked if he would be willing to split the cost of the part, $350. Scott laughed and told me that I bought a used mower as is. Scott went further to say that Reynolds was trying to sell me a part that I did not need. I do not use L&LS for landscaping, however based on my experience dealing with Scott. The company does not seem to have a great deal of integrity.

The owner, Sean Baxter, is a great businessman and incredibly knowledgeable of the industry, as are every one of his managers and office staff. Ive truly enjoyed every interaction Ive had with them. And I will continue to work with them, as well as highly recommend their services to all of my clients in the area.
