I hired Massey Services through their salesman. Of course like all salesman he promised the world but his company couldn't produce. I was out of the Country 3 months and when I got home my yard looked horrible. I called the office and the person jumped all over me. Told me to go look at the other 10 yards in my neighborhood that looked great. I was shocked at their customer service. About a month later a technician shows up out of the blue. He knocked on my door and told me my yard was eat up with chinch bugs. As we talked he said he replaced a guy that had many yards including mine and had never got out of the truck for the last 6 months. No treatments at all. This guy said I will be your new technician. 2 weeks later this guy was gone a s a new technician came by. At this point I went to the office and canceled my nonexistent services. When I was in the office there was a guy in the back cursing up a storm screaming at somebody . Can you imagine that kind of behavior with a customer in the office. Safe to say Massey lawn services brooksville is s joke. You might as well flush your money down the toilet 🚻

Terrible customer service if I could put 0 stars I would …… I called Massey as I was having a pool built to come out and check for any sprinkler lines in my back yard. They came out and we checked and I told the guy I was pretty sure their were lines that ran to some trees in my back yard so he continued to check and turned all my zones and said there definitely was none in the back. So being I thought they were a great company so far with us being with them I trusted his expert opinion and boy was he wrong. We customized our pool with the information he gave me and while the pool company was digging the hole they hit 3 lines that were together and branched out. So I called Massey and I talked to at least 4 different people who said someone would be out and they would pass my info to the correct person to set it up…… well the Monday they said the service tech would be there I called to confirm and they had no idea. The very polite lady said the general manager would call me within the hour….. after about 8 hours he called and pretty much said “ well our guys aren’t trained to find lines under ground that he was probably looking for sprinkler heads and he probably didn’t understand what I was telling him” , and “ well they never charged me to come out “ which I was willing to pay, and “ well when the pool guys were digging did they not see the lines” I guess a guy and a huge tractor with a boom shovel was supposed to see them before hitting them, and “ I don’t know what we can do in this situation as we aren’t in the field of running sprinkler line”, well we wouldn’t need to have new lines if I was told that they couldn’t find the lines underground when I called them out, I would have used that info and found someone who could. So after all that he proceeded to tell me they could send someone out to give me an estimate to run new lines. It just doesn’t add up….. lesson learned as we really liked the way our lawn looks while they were our service providers, but the way the general manager wouldn’t own up to their mistake and pretty much said I’m on my own to fix the mistake his service tech made, I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere…… $95 a month isn’t cheap but to have a great yard and a company who values us is important. I hope nobody else has to deal with the damage to their brand new home and the downright no help to rectify the shortcoming of Massey……… To this day a month later nobody has called to help rectify the situation……. And we just had a sod company come out to check that the sprinklers work before we get new grass, and none of my brand new sprinklers work :( this has been the worse experience ever

Would not recommend. Asked to have a manager come out, made an appointment in the afternoon and he did not show up. Called and she claimed he was there in the morning on a different day and we were not. She acted as if it was our fault and I just canceled the service. This was a second request, our lawn has less grass and more weeds then when we started.

I am just thrilled how Massey brought my lawn back to life after another lawn service almost killed it. My lawn is thriving it is lush and green and all the bare areas are filled in, I cannot say enough good things about my technician Jacob Reed just a very caring employee. Very special employee for sure. I trust him to do what he has to regarding the condition of my lawn and I never have to call Massey customer service. Thank you so much keep up the good work!!!

We ( unfortunately) paid for a year of monthly service! Our lawn looks worse now than it did when they started! Twice they came just to spray weeds, another time we were told they were only going to treat the front yard because the rest looked fine. We had a newly sodded yard and had a problem with web worms a year ago. Massey assured us they could treat it and keep our new lawn fertilized, free of pests and weeds. They said " Give us 6 months " We tried to cancel and get our money back for the remainder of months with no luck. Waste of $$

My yearly free irrigation inspection showed 4 heads that needed repair or replacement. The inspection tech drew me a map with locations of each sprinkler head and details on which zone each was located in. The repair tech arrived a little earlier than scheduled which was great. He went right to work and when he finished he had me come outside to make sure all the repairs were working properly. Everything was done efficiently, and both technicians were very professional and personable. I highly recommend the service.

Technician Bailey identified a problem with the irrigation system during a routine inspection. He investigated and found a cracked manifold part; he turned off the zone until he could effect repairs. When he returned the next week, he brought everything he needed to fix the problem within an hour. When tested, there was no more leak - saving my Dad’s lawn and money. Bailey restored the irrigation timer to the same settings my Dad originally set before he was left. Very professional and courteous services performed in a timely fashion.

Massey went beyond our expectations. First we have to thanks Mr. Justin Korp, our Sale Rep. After trying 4 other companies, Mr. Korp was the most knowledgeable, transparent, honest and he was the first and only Sale Rep that didnt offered us a sale or a product but a Full Service. I didnt have too ask him questions because he went over everything so detailed that unknowingly was answering all of our concerns. Other competitors I had to bombarded them with questions. Why Massey went far and beyond? Customer Service followed up consistently to schedule/re-schedule, we didnt have to go fishing for them. And they were very professional and polite (not over doing it). Sale Rep, Justin Korp truly gave the extra mile. Furthermore, Massey is the only company that we tried whom offered to do a soil test to know the soil needs and what products to use for our lawn. Massey offered us a truly personalized treatment (specifically for our lawn), not like other companies that sell you a program/ plan that is standard. They even take care of the sprinklers system to make sure that your lawn has a proper care. When Massey is schedule to do a service they carried with all kind of products to treat different kind of lawn every time and every where. So if you have a different type of grass in your front yard and backyard they will be able to treat it because they carried all the products needed for all kind of lawns. With that say, we felt for first time worried less and that everything is taking care off, FINALLY!! We cant wait to see the results in our lawn and continuing our lawn and pest control care with Massey.

Massey services is an excellent company I highly recommend them I would also recommend to purchase a service contract for the sprinklers It makes a huge difference, especially if you go back-and-forth between two states and are not there to monitor If I own my own business, Harvey /Crew/office personnel would be the type of people I would want working for me

THIS COMPANY IS A HEADACHE. You can read reviews similar to mine below, which accurately explain their poor rating. My fault for not doing my due diligence. I paid for a year of lawn care, basically they come out bi-monthly and seed, fertilize or whatever needs to be done. On their most recent visit (my second) month they came at 7:18am, walked around my yard for about 10 minutes spritzing every few feet. I received an invoice after for $129 saying they performed multiple services during this visit and one required them to walk the entire yard. I have cameras front and back and have video evidence this was not performed and that the employee left only 20 minutes after. 5 of which were spent on a phone and another 5 in the truck. No big deal though, lazy employee...No, the company as a whole has this mindset, Ive called 3 times now and during each call the person (no matter who i speak to) says they cant handle it and theyll have to have someone call me back, to this day I have no received a return call. Im truly hoping this is all a big misunderstanding and that I can edit this review accordingly in the future, but at this time all of the ether negative reviews are spot on. UPDATE: After the headache of trying to receive a phone call back and speaking with the most rude and unhelpful customer service agents Ive ever encountered Massey did end up getting back to me after leaving poor reviews on multiple platforms. They let me know that our cameras can be misleading and that the services were performed, however, they wanted to make things right so we scheduled a follow up visit. The follow up visit happened, they did one job less and it took them 20 minutes longer this time. Although it was a hassle they ended up doing the right thing, I still feel like my review reflects our experience with them and I will update it further if that changes. For now, proceed with caution.

This is a follow up to my (direct contact) concern about whether my initial services were completed in the back portion of the lawn (needing repair), as it was the main reason for changing providers. The GM/Travis contacted me and explained everything to my satisfaction. I feel very comfortable that the services needed for lawn repair were provided just as planned in discussion with the Inspector. After going through each problem and how it should be treated, I not only am satisfied, but am confident they will take good care of the lawn, without worry, going forward. That is what I want and what I pay for in utilizing an expert that is focused on my issues, my lawn, and my shrubs! I chose Massey because I dont want to just be on the same monthly circuit along with other customers that have very different lawn requirements. I want them to address any changes to my lawn due to weather, or other environmental forces, without reservation. Lawn Maintenance: Fertilization, Insect Control, Disease Control, Aeration, Shrubs and Trees.

The general manager in the Brooksville office assured me that the tech would be at my house at 8am. The tech also called me the Friday before and told me he would be there at 8am. I took off work so that I could be there for the tech and he did not show up until 3Pm that day. I called the office and they act like your a liar that they do not promise times. They are just very unprofessional.

Two weeks ago I gave Massey a 50% deposit to re-sod my front yard and have yet to receive a call from them in regards to a schedule. Today I called and was promised a return call today. When I didn t get the return call I called back and was given nothing but excuses as to why I didn t get the promised return call and also why no one can tell me when Massey is scheduled to re-sod my yard. I ve talked with a total of 5 Massey employees and not one has apologized for their poor communication. Wow! How does a company the size of Massey get away with such horrible customer service???

I recommend NEVER using this company, I contracted for 1 year of service, the lawn looked worse when the year came to an end, then they come and do an additional treatment, unauthorized, not contracted, and keep sending me a bill. Countless calls, hours on the phone, I was told it was fixed, yet, I am still getting a bill for service not ordered. Do not trust people who do business this way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They will harass you.

Over my time in Brooksville, I have had my lawn cared for by a number of Lawn Care Companies, including Massey. when Stan Clark was promoted to a supervisory position, I became increasingly unhappy with Massey and moved to another company. I was unhappy with other services as well and was beginning to shop around for a new provider. During that time, I received a call from Stan Clark informing me that he was returning to his technician position. I was thrilled. I asked him to stop by, review my property and work up a price for service. I was willing to sign up as long as he assured me that he would handle my account. He confirmed that he would be my technician. I switched back to Massey as soon as he left my home. Stan is an outstanding technician. He calls before his appointment to let me know when he is coming and always arrives on time. He completes his work efficiently and with out Question. He is always willing to answer any questions I have as well as make suggestions to remedy issues with my lawn. He is polite and respectful at all times. He conducts himself in a very professional manner. He is an asset to your company and should be commended for his work, his level of customer satisfaction and his positive attitude when interacting with his customers.
