Nick and his team were absolutely remarkable. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Nick was very knowledgeable and so professional, especially with explaining and answering any questions and concerns we had, he made the entire process so quick and painless. The work ended up being better than we ever could have imagined. Nick and his crew worked quickly and efficiently, and were very great about keeping us in the loop with everything. You can really tell that Nick and his crew genuinely care about the work they do and keeping their customers happy, he was very accommodating and even went out of his way to go above and beyond what we expected. He took our little idea and turned it into an absolute masterpiece. We couldn’t be any happier with how everything turned out.
Ever since my wife, dog and I were lucky enough to have a backyard in Brooklyn with grass, it's made a huge difference in terms of our overall happiness. We love to spend time outside, and we also never thought we'd have a backyard living in NYC. The gist of what I'm saying below is: Nick and his team will enable you to live your best life! And for the quality you get we absolutely could not find a better price. We did get lower quotes from other suppliers but seemed too good to be true; we did get at least one quote at 3x the price with no clear benefits. Nick is honest, will get you the best materials (for us we got K9 turf as we have a dog), and will actually follow through on his promises. I will also say, not just for turf, but out of all the contractors we've worked with the last few months, Nick has been the absolute best hands down! It's good to have that comfort in knowing something will get done right. Background is: In the place we lived in from 2020 to 2024 there was a backyard with turf - and we'd host bbq's out there (not directly on the turf), put up a swinging chair, played with our dog, etc.; and then this summer we were moving to a new place and we thought we had to have space for a backyard and luckily we found one. After getting 3 or 4 quotes we ended up going with Nick as we felt the most comfortable with him, his quote process, his knowledge, his willingness to do the best work, etc. That's definitely clear when you talk to him. We then had him come over and take a look, measure everything out, finalize the order - and we were on a timeline as we had tenants moving in on the ground floor so Nick and team had to do it before then. See attached pics - it turned out awesome! And those pics don't even capture the final backyard as it looks today. All to say - go with Nick and team - you won't regret it.
Great experience with Nick and his team. They turned our jungle of a backyard into functional and attractive space with turf and a new fence. Just as important - they were on time and on budget and great to work with.
I spoke to many other turf companies and out of all of them Nick from Onafastpace Yard Solutions was the most pleasant of all. The price is something he can work on with you and they're the most affordable option out there. We gave a deposit. Nick ordered the turf, when it came he let me know and we scheduled a date for the install. The workers came, and all the work was done by the end of the day. The work was done quickly, they cleaned up after themselves, and the quality of the work is amazing. I would recommend this business to anyone who's looking to have turf installed in their backyard. Every step of this process was easy, and pleasant. Once the job was done my backyard feels much bigger than it ever was before, and looks phenomenal. Thank you , Nick and team! K-9 Park artificial turf made our dogs and grandkids very happy! Our backyard is much easier to keep clean now - just use the blower and minimum of water. No spots or smell. Dogs are free not only to play, but also do their "biasness". Nick's team also redo our sprinkles system and extended patio on backyard. Nick is very responsible, easy to reach and communicate with. Job was done on time and smoothly. Highly recommend Nick's company!

What a blessing having Nick and his team work on my property! After a previous contractor did a terrible job, we were recommended by a friend to contact OnAFastPace, and they completely renovated my front and backyard. They were able to remove the old pavers, put in brand new pavers and turf in the back yard. Not to mention, they were professional, VERY clean, and reasonably priced. Ive wanted to get a nice NEW fence installed in my back yard since I moved into my place about five years ago (the old ones were seriously old and ugly--one was a chain-link fence, which I hated), but (a) I didnt want to deal with workers going in and out of my condo all day, and (b) I was afraid that the tree and flowering bushes I planted along the perimeter would get trampled. But a few days ago my next-door neighbors replaced their old fence, and I got to talking with Nick about the possibility of doing the same. I told him the reasons Id been hesitant, but he assured me that my plants wouldnt get smushed (they also do landscaping, so they know what theyre doing), AND that no one would have to come through my place--they could just get the materials over the fence from my neighbors yard and get it done. And Nick quoted me a great price. So I jumped at the chance. Im so happy that I did. My yard looks so much prettier wirh the horizontal cedar fence that Nick and the men who work for him installed, and I have privacy, and my house isnt a wreck, and it didnt cost a fortune! Nick and the men who work for him were very careful while working in some tight spaces not to step on my plants (I know I sound obsessive, but I was proud of them and happy to see them growing from little twigs), and were all very pleasant, professional, and responsive. Total win. :)

I recently renovated my backyard, and had no idea where to start. After a call and site visit with Nick, the rest of the process went smoother than I could ever expect. He is very knowledgeable about materials and design concepts. Definitely made best use of the space. The fence, turf, and patio came together as one cohesive whole. Straight lines and clean edges around curves looked sharp. Nick and his crew cleaned up as they worked, and where very responsive from start to finish.

Nick and his team did our install in a matter of hours and we could not be happier. We tried real grass for years but not matter what we tried we do not get sufficient light. They came with multiple turf samples and were competitively priced and did it the correct way with a crushed rock base securing the turf around the border so it ll last for years to come. Our dogs and us couldn t be happier!

100000% recommend Nick and his crew on so many levels. My family and I just moved into a home in Brooklyn with an empty dirt backyard. I had a vision to do a mix of astroturf and new pavers, but had no idea how to execute it. When Nick came over, I showed him my chicken scratch sketch and he knew exactly what to do and gave really great recommendations on things I had no idea about (flood prevention, etc). I also appreciated that I told him we had a really strict budget so he shared with us some amazing ideas on what we could do to keep the cost down. He never pushed for me to do any additional work which I really appreciated. Okay so to the good part. Here are the reasons why I highly recommend him: Communication - incredibly responsive. always answered all my questions, even if I repeated the same ones because he just wanted to make sure I knew exactly what he was going to do and why. Honest - he would literally show me RECEIPTS of items he purchased! I have worked with other contractors and they would just make up numbers when I asked how much things would cost. Quality - he really cares about the work and commits to it. You can see from start to finish. And he was there majority of the time doing the work alongside his crew. There was a moment after the pavers were installed where I was nervous about my design decision but he said trust the process and I was glad I did because the backyard came out really wonderfully. All in all, we had a great experience and would recommend him to everyone and anyone. Super happy about the work. And they did it on time so that we could enjoy the backyard for the summer. Great, responsive company. Nick is very reliable and communicates well. His team had to come through our home to get to the back where they installed the turf. They were careful and protected our floors, walls, etc. Very positive experience.

Nick and his team did a great job. We had turf put in and it looks and feels very nice. Our son loves playing out there now. We also had a huge metal pole in our yard and his team was able to remove it even without truck access. Amazing work!!! Would definitely recommend and use them again.
