They took care of the spring cleanup - including leaf and branch pickup, weeding, and redefining flower beds - and mulching of my yard, and it looks beautiful! They were efficient and did excellent work, even double checking with me on some of my plants to make sure they werent accidentally weeding out good plants. The quoting process at the beginning was simple and very professional as well. I will definitely use them for any landscaping needs going forward!

Honestly the best experience we ve ever had with a contractor for any kind of home improvement. Service was delivered at a fair price on the date promised despite days of rain. Seems according to them, they service ever area within 5 minutes of my house, including Brookhaven, Media, and Aston, but not Chester. Guessing they dont like Chester Residents, keep that in mind when you are considering a landscaper.

I hired Evan after seeing the work he did on my neighbor s back yard as well as lots of other nice yards with his signage in them. The project seemed beyond what I comprehended anyone could fix; weeds as far as the eye could see 5ft+ tall, buried rugs, raised garden beds, all to be removed and replaced with grass seed so my children can play outside next summer. More than once my husband and I were like I hope they can actually do it. To be honest it was a little scary for me putting trust in someone so seemingly young to do this job right. I m happy to admit I was wrong to worry! I ve had a lot of people come to our home to do different labor and E&J team did the most detailed and competent work of any of them, and at a fair price. I recently moved into a home in Wallingford that had mulch beds that had been so overmulched and built up. E & J landscaping removed all the old mulch and replaced it with a higher quality product. (The beds are literally 6 inches lower in some places and all that extra moisture is no longer up against the house, or growing fungus.) They were prompt, communicative, courteous, and the yard looks amazing! They were so careful to work around the plants and preserve existing root structures. Im already planning my next project with the company. Plus, my dog is absolutely in love with Evan, which never hurts!

Evan and his team were absolutely incredible, start to finish. Professional, communicative, and courteous to both us and our neighbors. They showed up on time, every time, and the work itself is clean and precise. We had a drainage issue in our side yard, which is too small and awkward for traditional regrading and required a more creative approach. Its certainly not a fun job, but we really needed to get it done to keep water out of the basement. We had called several landscapers about the issue, and nearly all of them either ghosted us or gave us outrageous estimates. I finally called E&J and spoke to a very nice woman who got me on the schedule for an estimate within a few days. Evan came out on a Saturday (precisely on time, as promised) and went over the issue and some potential solutions with me. Ultimately we decided to put a small swale in the yard and run the gutters and the sump pump to it to direct water away from the foundation. Evan said hed get me an estimate within a few days, and lo and behold I had it in my hands that same evening. It all looked good and we got on the schedule for a few weeks out. When that week rolled around, we spoke again. Evan had called our municipality regarding proper code, and we made some adjustments to the plan to include a dry well per their suggestion. He also expressed concern for my neighbor and wanted to make sure that he and his crew wouldnt cause any strife by stepping on her property, and also assure me that they would seed and straw any damaged grass on her side as well as mine. My neighbor really appreciated the heads up. On the day the work was scheduled to start, Evan and his crew showed up right on time. The work itself was executed beautifully. The trenches and the ditch for the dry well were made with care and precision, and the grading for the swale is done perfectly (not too dramatic, but still effective). When they stopped for the day, they left the job site clean: materials tucked away neatly, machines and equipment parked out of the way, and they left a wheelbarrow on top of the drainage ditch and put cones around it, presumably to make sure nobody would fall in. Evan also made sure to chat with me when they were finishing up and give me a rundown of their progress. Overall, a perfect 10/10, especially for such an unpleasant job. E&J has my business for life. You really cant go wrong with them!
