I have used TruGreen for years and have been satisfied with the results and the promise to return as often as necessary to control a problem if one arises. My present tech, Daquan Thompson, is the best one I have had. He always greets me then gets to work and does a careful, thorough job. My lawn looks better, healthier, and prettier than ever. He is an asset to your company and I am pleased to have him as my tech.

I spoke with my technician today. Caleb, he is very informative and knowledgeable on all the product they put down. I asked questions about other concerns. With the yard and he was able to answer everything. I would highly recommend caleb from true green to do your lawn service.

Through the last couple of years that I have had service with TruGreen the quality of work has gone down significantly. I have seen more weed growth in the past two years than the years prior. The routine fertilizer service I received just two days ago was not what I expected. Apparently it only took TWO narrow parallel passes in both my front yard and back yard which are roughly 3100 sq ft each. Not to mention, the section of lawn on the side of my house was not even considered yet Im being charged for the full service.

Not ready for pics yet in process of killing weeds out so maybe by end of summer before color turns I can post a picture of a beautiful green Bermuda grass yard and not crab grass, Dallas grass and dandelions.. I had it all.. way to much to dig up so this was my option, no regrets!!!

Mosquito spraying contract clearly states front yard and back yard. Technician showed 2 1/2 hours late yesterday, sprayed the front yard and left. I have asked to speak with a supervisor, get my yard sprayed today or tomorrow, or refund my payment for yesterday. Trugreen states I can t speak to a supervisor until 5-29-24. I can t get my backyard sprayed until next week. When I have this episode straightened out, will be canceling services.

Tru Green is the worst customer service company I have ever had to deal with. They hire people that don t do what you ask them to do regarding schedule changes, billing, updating information, etc. Tru Green does not care about their customers or care that they make a billing mistake that causes their customer extra fees with their bank. Tru Green doesn t care to refund their customers when they make billing mistakes or care to correctly update information such as addresses and name changes even when the customer calls in numerous times. Tru Green has done nothing but cost me money and my yard still looks the same as when they started. I will NEVER use them again and have reported them to BBB as well.

Worker was here two weeks ago and tractor got stuck due to rain. Had to reschedule. She just came back and due to wet yard, couldn t use tractor so applied product by hand. Very professional, took great care to ensure satisfaction.

I was lied to by True Green to get my business. I cannot physically water in granules treatments. I was promised I would get all liquid treatments that did not need to be watered in. So I accepted the service. I was not at home when the first two treatments were applied. I was home for the third and caught them using lime granules. I sent them away and called Trugreen. I was refunded the charge. When they returned to do the lime treatment, I caught them using granules again. I sent them away and called Trugreen. For my trouble I was given a discount on future treatments. I said forget the lime treatment. Lets move on to fertilizer and pre-emergent. I caught them again spreading lime granules. After catching them 3 times using granules, I feel quite certain the first two treatment done when I wasnt home were also granules, and it did not get watered in. So my lawn got no benefit from the first two treatments. All subsequent treatments were only partial because I caught them using granules and stopped them and sent them away. The bottom line is, overall my lawn has not gotten any benefit from any treatment. In a recent call to Trugreen I was told that liquid had to be watered in, too, or it would damage my lawn. Had I been told that in the beginning I never would have enlisted the service. I said cancel my service and I want my money back on the first 2 treatments since they didnt get watered in and I got no benefit from the treatment. Instead of getting money back I was sent a bill for the last partial treatment of lime when I caught them using granules again. Trugreen has very poor business practices. I only wish I didnt have to give them even one star, but that was lowest option.

The guys are great, they do a good job. the lawn looks great and if not they work with us to keep it looking great. We appreciate the extra effort if and when needed.

Going on my 2nd year of using TruGreen and my lawn still has dead spots and looks terrible in some areas. I called to resolved the issue and after being on hold for a long time an automated system tells me my hold time is 1-2 hours. This has happened 3x now. I dont think it is a fair ask to have clients wait 1-2 hours every time they call for a live person.

We have used Tru Green for a decade or more in BA. In the past couple of years we ve had so many problems. By the time Tru Green responded with an actual supervisor with basic knowledge at best, 2 months had passed and our shrubs/trees had died. We ve had a beautiful yard with extensive professional landscaping for over 20 years, but it s gone downhill fast. One Tru Green technician admitted they have minimal to zero training. The last straw was when they came into my backyard to treat. My small dogs were present and they sprayed anyway. Even though it s printed - twice - on their paperwork to not let dogs or children out till the dust settles and it s dry. This is completely irresponsible, careless, and dangerous. We were loyal customers. Sadly, I highly discourage anyone from using them.

I honestly wish I had never called and asked for a quote. I am disgusted by the aggressive sales tactics used by TruGreen. I called one Monday morning to ask for a quote for just treating my lawn for weeds and applying fertilizer. It took ten minutes of being told by the salesman how my lawn desperately needed the aeration and seeding to make it into a brand new lawn worthy of being on a magazine cover to finally get a price for just the weeds and fertilizer. Once he gave me this sky-high price and after hearing him belittle TruGreen s competitors, I decided I wasn t interested. Later in the afternoon, I got a phone call from another salesman following up with me. I told him that I had already expressed that I was no longer interested in TruGreen s services. The next morning, at about 8:30 AM when I was on my way to work, I got another phone call from a different salesperson. This was the first of four calls and text messages I got that day. On Wednesday, I received SIX phone calls and text messages from salespeople trying to sign me up. I finally had enough and called the Tulsa number to ask them to remove me from their system and stop the calls. They told me it would take 14 days(!!) to remove me from the call list and I m still getting calls and text messages now four days later. Their salespeople are obnoxious and relentless.

So far we have only had one visit but as far as I can tell they are very knowledgeable and helpful. I will continue to update this review as the program progresses.

Was using a local service. They really did a horrible job on our lawn. Called TruGreen and they have been unbelievably amazing to work with. Not only are they better priced than the last company we used but they are great to work with and are very quickly getting our lawn looking great.

My yard has gone downhill every since Truegreen bought Lawn America. My lawn has never looked worse than it does now, and this is after repeat visits and I still have more clover and weeds than ever before. I guess its time to move on to a better service. Im pretty sure Truegreen isnt actually using any weed treatment or has diluted it to a point where its not effective. They also sprayed my lawn during rain last time. Not happy at all with this service at this point.

The salesman in the Tulsa, OK office, Phil, quoted they would treat the lawn every six weeks. Later in the conversation he said every 5 to 6 weeks. I asked which is it, 5 or 6 weeks. I said it sounds like you do not have a set program. He said, I do not think I want to do business with you and he hung up on me. I called back out of curiosity and it was my mistake to sign up with them. The schedule they made for the first application had to be changed multiple times because they were trying to come out and spray chemical during the rain. I told them not to schedule a first application until I called them with a date so I could make sure it is not going to rain. They rescheduled it anyway and again I had to call back their 800 number and post pone their first application because again they scheduled it when it was due to rain. After the first application was completed the schedule they made for their entire program was every 4 weeks, not every six. The 4 week schedule was just so they would be able to get more money out of their customers and one of their customer service representatives did not deny this. On the first visit, the Technician ran his machine very quickly across the lawn to spray his chemical. He said if after two weeks if the weeds are not killed to call and they will come back out. Two weeks later, the weeds were not even wilted. My wife said she watch him spray the entire yard and he avoided spraying some areas. They did not deserve a call back. True Green has a 3.4 average review and Ryan Lawn care has a 4.7 average review. Plus, Ryan is less expensive, better, more reliable and worth your call. I found a mutual friend that has used Ryan for approximately 15 years and has always had good service, reliable service and great results. During my investigations to find a reliable lawn service, I found no one that had much good to say about True Green; competitors and ex-True Green customers alike.

I currently have service with TruGreen. Customer Service on the phone is terrible. It s impossible to talk to my local company, you have to go through national call center. I canceled my service last year because of this and poor communication with the local office. I was asked to try the service again and give. A local number to call. Guess what, it doesn t work. I would really like to know why no one cares about customer service anymore!

Over the past 2 years, I have employed TruGreen to kill the weeds on my lawn. They have not been able to. I have had ugly patches of weeds alive and well the entire time I have paid these people to kill the dang things. I gave them plenty of chances, finally I canceled my service. I later found out that true Green cannot kill weeds because they do not have the products that can kill weeds. Was told by a former employee that the active ingredient, msma, was outlawed for them to use. So I just bought msma myself from Sutherland and Im treating my own dang lawn. And its worked! Dont waste your money on these people or any other weed service, it wont work. That was the advice given to me by a former employee.

My lawn was in pretty rough shape when I bought this house. After 1 season with TrueGreen, it has completely transformed. It is greener and fuller and the weeds are in decline. There was previously more weeds than grass in spots, and now it looks like a healthy lawn. The guys that come out always chat and give me advice and recommendations. I recommend their service to anyone who cares about and needs a little extra help with their lawn.

The app is extremely user friendly and I love how it notifies you when they are on their way as well as when they are arrive and are done. Disastrous start. - quick great customer service response!

The TruGreen service today was worse than horrible. It appears the Specialist did not even attempt to close the gate to our backyard. 2 of our dogs got out to roam the neighborhood. Something completely avoidable, yet was not. Its not hard to check the gate after dragging the hose back to the truck. The gate faces the street no more than yards. And to top things off, the 2 phone numbers I used that are listed on search results were remote. How can local service issues be resolved that way? Oh, but they were kind enough to take my phone number and have a higher up return my call. In 2 to 3 days. Beyond frustrated. Spitting mad. Imagine losing 2 of your beloved due to something like this being overlooked. The dogs were found, but Imagine the stress. I would like to get a written explanation and apology, but wont hold my breath for that. Argh.

We have an account with TruGreen, paid in advance, for weed control. We receive a message from TruGreen that they will be here today . We stay home to be here when they arrive. Toward the end of the day we get a message that they can t do the service. They do not follow through. Their GPS is apparently outdated as the map placement of our address is wrong. We have contacted customer service for help but nothing seems to matter. Also, calling the local number gets customer service representative in a distant state. TruGreen is an unreliable source for lawn service.

I called to get a quote a month ago. They proceeded to blow my phone and e-mail up. I ve asked them multiple times to take me off because I don t appreciate it getting blown up all hours of the day. Just based on that I wouldn t recommend them to anyone.

The worst to deal with. I have cancelled my service since the end of December and have called 4 times that I have documented, calls recorded and cancellation numbers documented. True green is still taking money out of my account and I am on the verge of taking legal action given I have enough documentation to do so. This is fraud and taking money out of my account that is not authorized. I expect a phone call today and a resolution with a refund that s as instant as you taking my money from my account. Otherwise I will be contacting your legal department and taking further action

I called to get a quote. The guy did not seem very friendly and once he gave me a quote he immediately went into which one am I gonna purchase and tried to pressure me. I had mentioned that my dad help me last year put some stuff down he said that was a mistake and that made my yard worse. When I said I didn t wanna make a decision yet I was just getting a quote he s like well clearly you did something wrong because your dad did something wrong and when I said I was going to get my dad s opinion he said that was not a good idea because clearly he doesn t know what he s doing. This is not how you handle business you do not put down someone s family and this really really upset me and I will never ever use these people and I will tell every person I know to not use this company

I am beyond livid! We pre-paid a year-long lawn package. They were out a few times but didn t perform the services correctly. After a few days of back and forth we asked for a full refund. The only positive with the trugreen experience is that we did get a refund.

I tried trugreen years ago abs didn t like their service. Now I get 5-10 emails a day no matter how often I unsubscribe or report as spam

New customer and they no showed me on first treatment. Came out after I called them on this and then walked the yard with the tech and he did about a1/3 lawn and left. Called them and they scheduled me a follow up and no showed

Front yard looks the same. Back yard is way worse. Payed for a year . They told me they oversees and then they came out and overseeded the front yard with fescue , it is Bermuda with no trees. The back yard is zoysia and it looks horrible now it only had a little bit of weeds and now is over ran. A lot of the time they were not even doing the back and saying they were . Kept having to have them come back. I had guys pushing their spreaders around with nothing in them. And now I am being told I need to continue with more service. Horrible service .

I have technically been a customer since 2013, I say technically because I had been using a local company that trugreen bought in 2019 which I was absorbed into. Every year I have prepayed in full in the spring. Last year (2021) I was a little late but paid in full on June 5th. I found out on 3/19/22 that trugreen had made an error because I received a notice from a collection agency for $51.41 saying it was from the last service of 2021. I promptly called trugreen and the representative explained it was an error and to disregard it and it would be taken care of. Then on 4/30 I received a 2nd notice from the collection agency. I promptly called trugreen again and the lady did not seem to understand anything but eventually said I did not owe anything and that she would have a supervisor call me in 24-48 hours. 48 hours later I had not received a call so I called trugreen again. I was told it was incorrect and they would submit a ticket for a general manager to call me in 24 hours. 24 hours later I had not received a call so I called again. I was told it was incorrect and this is the first time they told me me account had been charged and then credited $51.41 on 2/22/22. Again the representative said I owed nothing and that a representative would call me in 1-2 business days. It has now been 5 business days and I have not received a call. This is truly unacceptable and I do not want a derogatory mark on my credit report. I will be filing reports with the Better Business Bureau, the CFPB, possibly my states attorney general, as well as sharing this on google reviews, their facebook page and the many facebook neighborhood groups I am a part of. I have all of these calls with the representatives recorded saying that it is trugreens error and yet they fail to try and fix it. Avoid this company at all cost.

Called about using them, shopping around. First person I talked to quoted me one price locally but never even accounted for the actual house and driveway on my property. Then, I got a call from Phil who explained said quote and gave me a lower quote then wanted a credit card and to get started next week. I explained I would talk with my husband and get back with him if he agreed. Since then I have received 13 calls in four days from him & Truegreen, even all weekend. I can t even block their calls! I had not decided if we wanted to use them, had calls from other TG people wanting to give me quotes even as late as 8 pm! I have a child, on a school night, who I have to have in bed by 830. If I wanted to call them I would have done so by now. I get they work on commission but they lost our business by harassing us, by their reps not even having correct information the first time they talk to us, and by calling multiple times a day, especially on a weekend and late into the evening. We had a family tragedy and they couldn t leave us alone. Call once. Leave a message. Do NOT mess with my family time. You have NO IDEA what my life is like or you wouldn t dare call past 4. You care more about commission than actual customer service so no thanks.

How has this company even gotten 3 stars? I ve read NOT one good review. I only ended up looking in to this company because some friends posted a complaint in FB and there were 4 more complaints just in the comments of that post. So I thought let s see if this is normal for them.... YEP, it looks like most of their costumers are very dissatisfied with their work... or lack there if.

Service was good until this year. Now I have a yard full of weeds and they wont come out to spray. They cold call constantly claiming they inspected the shrubs and trees that we dont have claiming we need additional services. They should treat weeds, like I paid them a lot of good money for, before they try to get more.

I asked for someone to take care of the weeds in my yard. The edges of my yard look terrible. Your techs are missing the edges because they are cutting corners.

I had four recommended treatments starting January 2022. Spent over $250.00. Totally dissatisfied. My lawn has never looked this bad. I would have done a lot better if I had done it myself. I called them about it. They came out and took pictures. They never contacted me again. Complete joke. Dont waste your time and money.

Quick response, professional, timely services., knowledgeable, and, more importantly, no weeds! I had my previous lawn service, consistently, for 4 years and still had broadleaf weeds amd unwanted grasses come up every year. TruGreen took care of that in just 2 applications. I also have their mosquito service. Best investment ever. Can now enjoy sitting outside any time of day.

I opted for the prepaid service for a year a little over a year ago. There seemed to be much confusion on whether I had purchased service for the entire yard or just the front. Multiple times I had to call to tell them the service call was only half completed. At some point in time, my service rolled over to a la cart or pay as you go. Three services were scheduled over the period of four days with only less than a days notice. When I called after the second service was scheduled, I ask when the following one was going to be scheduled and what was it going to be. I was told it hadnt been determined yet. That call was on Monday, I got notified late Tuesday that the next treatment would be on Wednesday. When I called the 800 number to cancel or reschedule, I got a message that the number I dialed was for new customers only. Customer service people are pleasant and helpful, but I cant say so much for the people calling the shots behind the scene.

One of their drivers cut me and my family off on the highway then insisted on driving 35mph on the highway. Needless to say not a good look for your company. Happened 3 miles outside of Bartlesville at 12:45pm today.

My neighbor used true green so I thought I d give them a try. Paid for 6 months in advance. They come out and let you know when they are going to be there. Then the calls start. Friday nights. Wanting to spray shrubs for bugs, aerate the yard. Thats ok. But, if you day no, they hang up on you. Bam! The problem with true green is the bottomline. They hired kids that have no life experience. I guess they think if they hang up on you you ll call back. But if you call back you get matt or joe s voicemail. Or you get Cincinnati or New Jersey. Thus is Oklahoma, true green doesn t respect the customer. They start the call by thanking you for watering your lawn because it s so rare that people water their lawn. True green needs a reset or they will run out of customers to badger

They treated my lawn a few years ago. They killed the lawn. I quit the service but kept the shrub service. For previously healthy bushes died under their care and this week they came and treated the lawn instead of the shrubs. Unprofessional, poor service, an incompetent in my opinion.

Do not recommend. Different people treat month to month. Not treating anything close to the whole yard. I have them on camera just making a single pass speed-run. Not sure what has changed but the specialists used to spend 20-30 minutes on my yard. I have a huge very oddly shaped yard and now they spend 5-7 minutes doing a single speed-run loop and miss 70% of my yard. Complaints haven t changed anything. Just cancelled service and will find someone local.

I hired TruGreen in December to make my lawn look better. I have trouble with weeds and Tru Green has tried hard to get rid of them but it has been difficult. They are professionals but I do not feel like they spend enough time at the actual location when they show up

Absolutely horrendous. There is no individualized plan for your lawn. I now have more nutsedge in my yard than I ever have since starting their service. In fact, for the past two services (one month apart), they have completely ignored the problem applying fertilizer to my already healthy lawn. There is an area near my shed that has been completely neglected and at this point is more clover and weed than grass. The value is no where near worth it for this.

True green has turned my yard around this year. They killed the weeds and my Bermuda took off with the fertilizer used. They retreated the stubborn weeds several times until the lawn just looks great! I never thought it could look this good!

Thats a hard working man. Hes loving every minute of it. This man, Eli is greatful for his job and loves his work. But, most of all, he appreciates his customers. He says they are the best. And, TRUE GREEN HAS BEEN GOOD TO HIM IN SO MANY WAYS. I didnt know there were still employers that truly care about their employees. They invest a lot in these men so, they can be TRUE, to their customers.

After filling in my information to get a quote online, TruGreen then decided it would call me 5 times in 2 hours to see if I wanted to sign up. After the 5th call Ill take my business elsewhere

I used TruGreen for many years and it went downhill annually. I finally went out and sprayed the weeds myself and couldn t step one foot without having to spray something in 50% of my lawn. They claim weeds can t be sprayed in fescue, well they can, I did it and my fescue didn t die. My yard looks better without their service. Cancelling my service I got disconnected twice with calling, twice during chat and finally emailed and got no response. My service is canceled but I found that out logging in, not by being notified. They ve taken over most of the bigger companies in town and don t have the manpower to take on the accounts. I went 13 weeks between services one time. I would ask if they sprayed certain areas and they d say yes and I d go back and look on my cameras and they hadn t. Save yourself a headache and find a place that can keep workers and that actually has customer service.

So many things wrong with this company. Allan/Allen, a service manager we spoke to Friday about one of their employees breaking our fence, did nothing to help us. We asked that we get our prepaid balance refunded and them covering the expenses of our fence being repaired. Somewhere he completely missed paying to repaid our fence and is for some reason expecting for us to fix it out of our pockets. This is unacceptable and will go to whatever length necessary. They broke the lock to our fence by slamming it aggressively twice, and now will not fix it? Several times they came out and didn t have the product they needed to do the work that we paid for them to do!!! Prepaid!!!! I would stay far away from trugreen and they are extremely unprofessional. Only people that seem professional are their costumer service reps. Other than that, every higher up person has done a terrible job. Can t believe they expect us to pay out of our pockets to compensate for their employees breaking our fence. And we have dogs!!! Took them two weeks to come and even check the damage done. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. If I could give 0 stars I would!!! Terrible company! & there is no number for their cooperate office. You just send in an email and hope they get back with you!!!!!

Got talked into Aerating our lawn, so we agreed. Technician left a gate that we never use on the side of the house open, and because its a gate we never use our dogs got out this morning and have been missing for 2 hrs now. Tried calling TruGreen to be put on hold and then told that someone will be in contact with me in 24-48 hrs. After telling them I will not except that as an answer I was put on hold and transferred to corporate. After explaining to corporate the situation she said that she would call the branch office and they would contact me. -5 stars!!! Do not use this company if you value you your Pets! They do not care! Hank is still missing !

DO NOT USE TRUGREEN! Two summers in a row they completely killed our grass and did not fix it or offer us a refund! Horrible and rude customer service. We had to practically beg them to return our calls. Save yourself the trouble and use someone else!

Weve had then out 3 times now and twice they have left our gate wide open. They were supposed to seed when they were here and cameras show that didnt happen. So far were not impressed.

TruGreen tech came out to service my neighbor and they parked in front of our driveway when the street was empty. I drive a SUV and was leaving and asked the tech nicely to move his truck so I could leave. He told me to go back in the house and hed move the truck when he was done spraying the yard. He said his name was Mike. Dont be a Mike.

They did green up my lawn nicely but you still have to watch them. TruGreen tried twice to do spray and pay on my lawn, caught them on cam running around the yard in a thunderstorm. Biggest complaint is their customer service. They use a message service to call you and tell you to call them, what happened to real people on a call. Cancelled service and switched to a local company that answers their phone.

Do not use this company. I cancelled all my services today after their technician let both of my dogs out even though they knew for a fact that i had dogs since i have to put them inside every time they come and stressed multiple times when i setup the service to double check that my gates are closed before leaving due to my dogs. Luckily, after sometime i was able to find them in the neighborhood.

Second year to have service with them and this company is absolutely horrible. They cant keep the weeds away, always try to upsell another product to you, and they dont come out on time. If there was another company that services my area I would use them instead. This company sucks, please choose another company.

Don t do it. You save money by just doing it yourself. TruGreen only cares about the initial sale and then after that, you pretty much have to beg for service.

Paid extra for a consultant to come out with the regular maintenance person and evaluate my lawn. When they came I had bare spots on lawn that I thought was due to the hot weather. They sprayed for weeds and fertilized my lawn. A month later no grass was growing in the areas so I started digging the compacted ground areas and replaced with sod. In the other areas up front I started digging and realized the ground was soft compared to the other area which I thought was odd. Upon further inspection I found numerous grub worms, I started doing a spot checks in other areas and found more grubs worms! I was very dissatisfied they did not even do a core sample when it was my first visit with this company and they missed a huge infestation, I wouldn t of even known if I didn t do their job myself and fix my lawn so on top of the money I paid them I had to go out and buy grub poison. Another thing is after they came none of the weeds even died. Yes the grass was greener but that doesn t really matter when the weeds start abundantly growing as well and do not die. For the 60$ I bought three months worth of weed and weed and insect killer, I ended up spreading my lawn myself and got very quick results just a week later. All in all I m very dissatisfied with the careless service I feel like they just hurry along and don t take the time and care that lawn America did when they treated my neighbors lawns before trugreen took over.

Started back with Trugreen after years of not be able to afford to have them take care of my yard, not impressed at all. Have had two treatments and I dont see any improvement in my yard at all, the crabgrass is flourishing more than when they started if things dont change with next treatment Im getting a refund for the rest of the year I paid for in advance not HAPPY at all, was told with last treatment that the would start turning brown and dying in 6 to 8 days to 2 weeks, havent seen any of that at all and they were a week late on the last treatment!

Signing up for text notifications is very handy. You know when your technician will be there, so no surprises on that part. I like the real-time locater service that give you an approximate window of when your technician will arrive. Helps to keep everyone in the loop.

Insect control has been awesome. Plus my yard is looking better after each service call.

I discovered Army Worms in my yard. I called Tru Green to get it addressed. Was forced to buy a lawn care program vs getting a one time treatment. After a week, they finally show up with no notice. We live in 2021 and this company has no ability to tell you a window of time other then the entire day of when they are going to show up. So of course they show up when I am dropping my kids off at school. So they then dont check with me about any issues with my lawn (like the fact I have new sod) and then DONT even spray for the Army Worms!!!

They killed my entire front yard with whatever they sprayed on it! And of course no one ever calls back or comes to see what they can do to fix it. Terrible!

I cancelled my service today after 2 years. I am disappointed with the actual product and service. Ultimately, I dont trust they are performing the services they claim to be performing. I have seen their tech arrive, spend 5 minutes and get back in the truck. There is no way they could have performed the services listed on their invoice. If they did perform the service then the product itself is inferior to other services. If you ever have to contact TruGreen go through the sales option on the phone tree. Otherwise, plan on being on hold for at least 15 minutes. I am typically very loyal to companies unless there is obvious neglect in the service or the product. Click off this review and find a better service. Disappointing.

I cannot speak to their product and quality of work. I filled out a questionnaire online and was literally bombarded with sales calls for the next 48 hours. I do not appreciate high pressure sales and hung up on them, only to have them call back repeatedly for 20 minutes straight. After 20 minutes I blocked the number and stand firm in my decision to never use their service. I am choosing a competitor based on the sales team alone. TruGreen, when someone says no, learn that no means no. That is a great lesson for all areas in life.

I have been trying to cancel TruGreen because of a few things that I didnt like about their service, but the response Ive gotten is maddening. I have tried cancelling with them over the phone and online, and they still showed up to my house to give me a service. I of course told them to leave. They called and said it was time for my service and I again told them no, Im trying to cancel. Just today, theyve called me five times, four of those were in a span of 10 minutes. But when I call back, I just get put on hold! Once I finally got someone who would listen to my complaints, SHE HUNG UP ON ME. So unprofessional and irritating.

TruGreen purchased our prior lawn service that we were quite happy with. Since taking over, our lawn has never been as good. They spilled chemicals over a year ago and we found out after a swath of grass near the street died - it still has not fully recovered. We have more weeds now than ever since starting a lawn service. All the phone numbers lead to a national call center where the folks are nice, but clueless on how to help. I asked for the number to the local branch manager and was told they did not have it and I would have to wait for them to call me. This feels like a large national chain that doesnt care about their local customers. I am seriously considering finding someone local who is not nationally owned who will listen to and respond to my concerns. They are prompt at showing up on schedule to drive their machine around the lawn - I only wish they took an interest in addressing individual weeds before they get out of hand like our prior service did.

Trying to talk to somebody in billing and I waited on hold for 25 minutes and then they hung up. When I have asked for weeds to be Resprayed the 1st time they told me they were too short of help, the 2nd time I called she said they cant schedule it because I was already scheduled for somebody to come out within a month and the last the last time when the guy was here he didnt have the product. I would like someone with authority to call me. They are now charging me for something that I was told is included with my yearly package that I purchased

Not rating on service but on the high pressure to sign contract with them. I should have known what I was getting into with a national company. Spoke to an agent and made it very clear I was not ready to make a commitment with any lawn service. Then over the next two days I received multiple emails and phone calls, basically every other hour. Finally answered the call at work and told them I would not be using TruGreen due to the repeated attempts to contact me and that I made it very clear I was shopping and told them to remove me from their list. I would not consider TrueGreen if they were the only lawn care company available. I would rather have a dead brown lawn or a lawn full of weeds.
