It has been 6 months since the closing of the home and Meadowbrook acres has been paid in full, but I have not received sod yet. All the new construction homes that started construction when I closed 6 months ago have gotten their sod and I called Meadowbrook several times in the last month. The phone operator is rude enough to cut me off and say they cannot give out a date. Look no further if you want your money taken and cheated without sod. I wonder if I will ever see my sod in a years time. Stay away at all costs.

I dont recommend this company. They installed the irrigation system at my house 2 weeks ago. The system had an active leaking at the main valve and 1 sprinkler head was leaking too, plus 1 head doesnt work at all and another one has insufficient angle to cover the lawn. I called the company to report the problem twice. Nobody has ever got back to me. Now a portion of the lawn is dying. In addition, the sod installation team doesnt seem to have sufficient communication with the irrigation installer.

Been calling for months to get some trees that are covered under warranty replaced and cant get a call back. No one ever answers your phone or emails so maybe leaving this review will finally get a response. In response to what Meadowbrook said, its all the same parent company as verified by the phone number. On a positive note, at least the owner responds when you call his cell phone.

I am currently waiting for my final grade to be approved by the township so that Meadowbrook can come in to do my sod/irrigation. I have seen their work in my subdivision and it is far better than anyone else that has done work in the sub. Not only is it high quality sod, you can tell the people laying the sod know what they are doing. There is such a thing as poorly laid sod, and that is not the case with Meadowbrook. I worked for a golf course for a number of years so I can appreciate a good job when I see it. As for me, they have kept in touch with me and have been very helpful without even seeing a dime from me yet. I am excited for my lawn to be installed and I know I wont be disappointed. Update: lawn came back great after its first winter. They did an awesome job last year. Doing it all over again I would have went with them again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I highly recommend Meadowbrook Acres! They are a local, family owned company that takes pride in their work and has the best costumer service. They grow their own sod and go the extra mile using quality parts within the sprinkler system that they provide. We had sod and sprinklers installed and everything works and looks great!

Had Meadowbrook install my lawn and irrigation when I moved to South Lyon a couple years ago, my lawn still looks fantastic to this day! The builder left my lot an absolute mess, but they did a great job grading out all of the rocks and making everything smooth. Really appreciate how easy they were to work with too, in fact I would say they re one of best contractors I ve ever hired for my home.

I ve had a few new construction homes in my lifetime and dealing with landscapers has always been the biggest nightmare! Unorganized, deceitful, and poor quality seems to be the norm Then I found Meadowbrook and noticed how straightforward and honest they were about everything, I went ahead with hiring them to install an irrigation and sod package at our home and from start to finish it was a great experience. I seriously couldn t be any happier, my lawn is just plain awesome, it seriously looks like something from a magazine, I m not even kidding!! I know who I m calling next time!!

This was our first home and first time having a lawn put in... so I really had to do my homework and they were the most responsive and the most affordable of the various quotes I had received. They were nice to work with and everything turned out looking great. A+ service.

Recently moved to a new build home in South Lyon, and literally didnt know where to start regarding sod and irrigation. We noticed one of our Neighbors having sod installed and we couldnt believe how great the sod looked. It literally stood out from the rest -- Amazing quality and color. After finding out it was Meadowbrook Acres, we called right away. After talking with Nick, we knew we would be working with him and his Team. They offer the best prices we could find (makes sense since they are the source for the sod). They were very professional, prompt and actually took the time to explain everything there is to know with the care of our new lawn as well as a full explanation and demo of our new irrigation system. Highly recommended !!!

I did my research before getting sprinklers and grass installed at my new home, Meadowbrook was BY FAR the easiest and most professional to deal with. They gave me the best price and the service was phenomenal. My sprinklers work great and the sod is absolutely beautiful. Would highly recommend this company!

We hired Meadowbrook for our sod, landscaping and sprinklers. They never finished the switch back for our daughters wheelchair which was the selling factor for us to go with Meadowbrook. We had our landscaping and sod laid in Oct 2014. It snowed, a lot, within 2 wks of the placement of the sod. We didnt walk on the yard until the following spring. When we did walk in the yard it was (still is) horribly lumping/uneven. I called and emailed Brian, our Meadowbrook Sales person and he accused is of walking on the yard and wouldnt even address the issue. I then called when some of our bushes were dead, wrong plants planted, etc. I didnt know they were the wrong plants until they bloomed. I didnt hear from him. I decided to call Meadowbrook and asked for Brian, they thought I was someone else and transfered me to him. I wasnt very nice, I know that. He claimed he came out and looked at the yard, I asked him how did I know since he never communicated with me. Brian sent someone to try and rectify the dead shrubs but they never addressed the yard/sod issue last summer. One plant is dead and I am waiting to see if another bush is dead. Our yard is not the quality we expected or paid for. I would look for another company.

We had our sod and irrigation installed in May 2014 by Meadowbrook primarily on a few recommendations from our landscaper and other neighbors/friends. The customer service just in the quote/estimate process really made us feel like they were the right choice let alone other companies often wouldnt show up on time for appointments or return phone calls like Meadowbrook (Nick) did. We have had 2 full seasons on our lawn now and are extremely happy with how the lawn looks, especially when you see so many others that use other sod farms, may water as much as we do, yet their lawn quality isnt up to ours. I would challenge anyone to find a better company to use overall for lawn and irrigation than Meadowbrook especially for continued customer service years after installation when I have questions even about general lawn care such as recommended fertilizer, watering plans...etc.
