My house and yard was serviced today from the Defender Pest division. I was close to finding another company due to them not coming out. I hate spiders and do not want ticks in my yard. Douglas came today and was so nice and informative. He did a great job and my husband and I are very satisfied and have decided not to change companies. Make sure you keep him...He represents you well!!!

Don t hire them! Terrible service. Totally inept personnel. Been with them only 2 years, and I have had to call four times for either special instructions not followed, or them saying our lawn was fertilized when it wasn t, as RING cameras show. This last time I received a bill saying our lawn was serviced, yet I did not get a camera alert. I looked back to see .. What do you know! Our neighbors got our service instead! Can t even read a F_ _ _ _ _ address! Update 8-30-24. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS SEASON TO END WITH LUSH LAWN! Another stellar performance from this company. What a joke! We were serviced on 8-27-24, and no service form left on door, or an email stating we were serviced. (Usually occurs) Note surveillance footage shows we were serviced. On 8-27-24. On -29-24, we received an email saying they would be out for service on 8-30-24. What? Why would another service be done basically back to back? So on 8-30-24, I called their office, and I asked if they could check their records and tell me when we were last serviced? I was told back in July! I then informed them that my surveillance footage shows they were at my home on 8-27-24. I said I did not want service on 8-30-24, as they said they would be coming to service. I did not want a back to back service to possibly ruin my lawn. They then asked me to provide them with my video surveillance, which I did. This has been a nightmare with this company. What a huge mistake we made deciding to hire them. Total incompetence. We have been with them only 2 years, and have nothing but trouble, from saying they serviced our lawn when they did not, to damaging our lawn with riding cart ruts. When asked to have our lawn walked, it lasted 2 services! Now they are back to a riding cart.if you want something done right, you do it yourself. That is exactly what we will be doing going forward. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

They do such a wonderful job taking care of my lawn. Asked them to come out because of crab grass issue and the guy walked the entire lawn spot spraying the problem areas. First summer using this company and will be using them again for 2025.

when I was looking for a lawn service this year I was very disappointed with the interaction that I had with the bigger named companies. I wanted a person to come out to my home and speak with me about my concerns and eyeball the issues I had. No one would. They all had done a GPS scouting of my property and with that information they would give me a quote of their services. When I called Lush Lawn I wound up speaking with Aaron Pariser and finally found some one who I could connect with. I told him of my frustrations with the other places and even though a person wasnt sent to talk with me, Aaron spent a good half hour to 45 mins just talking with me and answering my conerns. I felt like I was talking with a friend and a person who cared and with that I felt that this was the company for me. I have not been disappointed.

They are great and pay attention to what our lawn needs. We were struggling to get our grass to look nice and only after a few applications from Lush Lawn our yard looks so much better!

Im a returning Lush Lawn customer having resigned for the 2024 season. The pricing for annual weed control and fertilization at Lush Lawn is very competitive. Customer service is what sets this company apart from others, which goes a long way. I have been able to customize my frequency for a schedule that works best for me. The reason I gave 4 stars is because the technicians seem to miss applying treatment to areas where they cant get their ride on spreader. A hand held applicator is needed for those areas.

I have used their service for many years and been pleased with their service and results. When there are issues I have notified them and they then come back and make the corrections needed.

Lush lawn has kept my lawn weed free, and have been working hard to eliminate bad grasses, quack and crab grass.

My yard looked horrible this year using Lush Lawn. Weeds were all over unaffected by their weed killer. 3 times extra notices were given to to Lush that they needed another application. Its hard to spot a weed to spray when they fly by fertilizing . I also also signed up for core aeration. Marked my sprinklers. No show by 2pm. Call and was told they would be there around 5:30. Never showed never called. I canceled next years service and told a manager would call me to handle the cancelation. Been a couple weeks never heard from them.

Lush Lawn does a great job. We have a huge lawn and they allow for signing up for specific services. I m rating with 4 stars instead of 5 because the price is higher than other services. The other services however require a 6 time per season contract. I like that the same tech comes out each time. My lawn looks really good!

We have used MANY lawn services in the past. Most did not give us the lawn we wanted. We noticed our neighbor s lawn and asked who they used. Honestly, we have never gotten so many compliments and just pulling up to a lush, green lawn puts a smile on our face. So, so glad we called Lush Lawn!!

I like the fact that they actually respond to our emails. You receive one prior to them coming out. When I emailed back that our street is closed for repairs and they would be able to get to our house they responded immediately. Its nice to know that if something comes up you can contact them and get a quick response.

Work is adequate, the billing is confusing. Theb send bills for services already paid .

We have wide darker and lighter stripes in our yard. Called, said would evaluate next application. Neighbor has same issue. I believe the last application was put on not correctly. Inclined not to use next season

We wanted a lawn fertilizer that is organic. We re happy to have fewer chemicals in our environment.

Lush Lawn is a fairly reliable company. The fertilizing service works very well. The biggest failing is their follow-up. Their salesman (Mike) that signed me up, gave me his personal cell phone in case I had any problems, whatsoever ... That numbers goes immediately to VM, and he never calls back. Also, their service technicians really rush through the job - the fertilizers and weed control dont always make it into areas likes inside corners and alcoves. Ive got to do those areas by hand. All-in-all, Id give them a 3+star rating ...

Did good job for the most part. Only complaint is they sprayed the lawn with weed control in the middle of a day long rain shower, and of course it pretty much all rinsed off. I called and was told not to worry and that the spray had additives in it that help it stick to the leaves, (wet leaves? really?). I ended up manually taking care of a good dozen dandelions as they flowered a week later.

Our lawn was continually turning yellow because the landscaper who put in our sod did not prepare the soil and put it over soil from our neighbors basement. It was pricey but lush lawn applied soil nutrients and it is thickening up and greener. They treated our problem and came back if needed.

My lawn went from lame to lush after the very first application. I am very happy about that. They are responsive as well. My only compliant is the over selling. It s hard to trust a company for their professional opinion when every spider or dark spot is a looming lawn disaster. With that being said, I WOULD recommend Lush Lawn with the buyer be AWARE mentality and will continue to use the service for years to come.

Weeds are weeds no matter where they are. If in grass, Lush Lawn does a great job of destroying them. Their people are professional and do a great job whether its fertilizer or wed control. They provide good service at reasonable prices.

This is the 2nd season we used them. 1st seson was great. 2nd season was awful. I signed up for 2 servoces: the tick control and the mole control. They never did then tick control until late summer and after multiple unanswered calls. The mole control was quite opposite; they kept applying it and charging me for it despite not needing the service. Many many emails and calls went unanswered. Finally near the end of the season the manager called to apologize.

Recently they have been really good. Getting all the small areas with hand held sprayers.

I have used Lush Lawn for 3 years and have seen the weeds in my lawn reduced quite a bit. And the lawn is healthier and grows well, nice green color. They are very professional when I call, though I hardly ever need to.

Contracted them for aeration and overseed. I was not pleased with their work, and withheld payment. After a barrage of phone calls, letters and e-mails threatening to give to collection agency, I reluctantly agreed to pay, telling them I never wanted to do business with them again! The following year, they came back (when we weren t home), and did that same service again, leaving the bill on my front door. When I contacted them, they said service is automatically renewed each year unless I call and cancel the service. What part of never wanting to do business with them, tells them, I still want them to come back? Pretty obvious cancellation, to me!!

For years we (lived here since 1988) tried different lawn services to try and help our entire lot. We have a very shaded and HARD ground and needless to say it required lots of TLC. Well, after 4-5 years of Lush Lawn we may be up for Property of the Month awards ! :-) Highly recommend you consider their services.

I have used Lush Lawn for mosquito control for several years with good results. This is the second season I have used their weed control in flower beds. Weeds take a few days to dry up, but they are then gone and beds are much cleaner for the season.

I love their notification system of when they are coming out to treat our lawn. This Company is totally dependable and professional. We added weed control program in addition to our lawn treatments this year which seem to be working with just the first round of weed treatment. Mike in Sales was very helpful. I like that they text me and let me know when they are coming. The only thing that I dont like is the fact that I can see tire tracks on my lawn from their little tractor a month after theyve been here. I think they need to adjust the air in the tires or lighten the load.

In the beginning (many years ago) Lush lawn had given us a very good service. Our lawn looked very nice. PROS: Very consistent service - always showed up when they promised, and not pushy for the add ons. CONS: Their Fertilization Service has been becoming less and less effective over the years, as they grow their business. Ive been a loyal customer for many years - always following their recommendations. But over the past few years, my lawn has been looking progressively worse. Also, they have poor follow up to customer concerns and complaints (You need to be persistent, and call multiple times - the squeaky wheel gets greased). Im actually contemplating switching service providers at this point.

I am a new customer this year. At this point I am still assessing how successful they will be with the weeds in my yard. The time spent when doing the application is pretty short. I made sure I was there to talk with the person and show him what needed to be done. Results were mixed. They say you will have a weed free yard and they will come back free of charge if need be. At this point I am waiting for them to come back since I still have MANY weeds ( called to ask for further treatment). It took a week, but someone came to respray the weeds. I had asked to be notified so that I could be there and explain some of the issues. That didnt happen, but I was home. The young man who came this time, Greg, was very responsive to my needs, and the application was much more thorough! I hope he continues to be the one who services my yard.

They called over a week later and never left a message to call them back when I couldnt answer the phone. Have another company now that showed up and sprayed the same day of estimate.

My experience as a customer is nothing but a disappointment. There is a lack of follow up accountability and making sure that there is quality control when taking care of a customer and lawn. I would in no way recommend this company if you do care about the quality and the health of your lawn.

The speed with which they controlled my issue with moles is amazing. These folks really know what they re doing! Whenever I ve had a question, I have an answer either the same day, or within 24 hours.

We had a contract for the year on a postage stamp size lawn. Neither crab grass control nor broad leaf control worked. I ended up pulling weeds by hand. I spoke with them several times and the were always courteous and friendly however that did not get the job done that I needed them for. I also paid for grub control and they treated so very late in the season that the grubs had already damaged my lawn. I will not be using next year.

This company destroyed my pet fence even though they were notified that it was there and that notice would need to be given before aeration. Ok mistakes happen. However they said I needed to get the repairs done and have repair company send bill. No company was willing to do this because,SURPRISE, they want to know they are getting paid. Ended up needing to do it myself. When trying to negotiate a way to recoup for these damages manager said since this service was a free add on I was entitled to nothing. After much argument they agreed to replace cost of line only meaning my time and effort for their mistakes worth nothing to them. Very unprofessional.

I have been a customer for around 5 years now. My lawn looks great every year. They are a little aggressive in the sales tactics. Ive also had multiple issues trying to just pay my bill. Overall happy with the service.

For lawn seeding Lush Lawn is an abject failure. They guaranteed to have grass growing in a shady area. That was 3 years ago. Still no grass and they are now telling me the area is shady. No kidding? For general fertilizing, they do a good job. For seeding, they are awful. Note: I have requested to meet with the supervisor to look at the area together. They have not contacted me before coming out, even after all this time.

They have the most competitive price for what they offer. I went other places and ended up with chemical burn, crabgrass. The mosquito service is great and totally worth it.

The sales process was really good. A representative came to the house and checked out with me what we needed to do. One week latter the lawn was treaded. The next day the weeds were all ready starting do die. One week after that the grass was already growing and had that dark green look. I would stongly recommend Lush Lawn to be your lawn service.

Last year we had a big problem with crab grass & broadleaf, since we started service with the crab grass is gone, still only a little bit of broadleaf but in hopes that our next few applications will take care of what didnt get hit with the first two rounds of application. Otherwise my lawn hasnt looked healthier in years than it does this year with Lush Lawn! Thank you!

Found them on google. Reviews seemed fairly good. Called them and I felt like I got a fair quote. Sales guy was pretty friendly and worked with my budget. Scheduled me quickly.... But then they never showed up for my first application. Never got a call that they weren t coming either. Called them to ask what happened and got a voicemail. They did call me back. Said someone got injured on the job and I have to wait another week to reschedule. Slightly annoyed considering I m already late spraying being that s it s nearly June. Sticking with them for now, but not a good start. Hoping they can still help me turn my lawn around. Addendum- increased to 4 stars. lawn looks better than it ever has after 3 sprays. Thick and healthy. Would be 5 stars but they went back on what they told me. It is NOT unlimited service calls. You get 1 service call. Had ants sprayed for $70 and it didn t work. I did not ask for money back. Just wanted additional sprays to manage the ants. They wanted to charge me for another treatment after second call, which I declined. I ended up spraying for ants myself and it worked well, but lawn looks great and I would recommend them for that.

I began using Lush Lawn this year for fertilization and weed control. They noticed moles after the first application. A salesman called me and was pushing their mole service on me (I was told later on that this employee was no longer working there). I told him I would try on my own first, to see if we could avoid more chemicals as we have a toddler son who runs around on the lawn. He finally said he would put the service on hold. I assumed this would be held until I approved/said I wanted the service, otherwise it would just be a note on the account. 1 month later I received an invoice for $115 for mole service. When I called initially to discuss this and let them know I never approved the service, I was told they will listen to the call and call me back. When they called me back, they said because we sent an email out before coming, we will not take the charges off, and said the hold fell off after one month. After writing a review, customer service did call me back to make it right, and did remove the charge. I do not think it should have gone to this level, and should have been made right initially, but I do appreciate them reaching out and taking care of the charge.

Lush lawns has been unreasonably regarding mold control service they said they performed. I was here all day the day they said they serviced my home and I saw no one. Also they usually leave an invoice on my door handle anc nothing was left. I have called several times and explained the situation and they insist the technician was there and performed the service. Julie, their manager, finally picked up the phone after 2 weeks of requesting a manager call me. She said she did not care and the technician told her he performed the service and that I owe the invoice. I told her I was not paying for a service they s did not do. She said I would continue to receive robo calls and invoices until the bill was paid. I then asked to speak to the owner and she hung up on me.

So far have had wonderful service and experience. Had one minor issue and the technician resolved it right away. Nice friendly staff and service.

Michael Cronin has been the biggest help this year. Lush Lawn started the year with soil testing. They have been coming quite often to our yard for both the lawn and shrub fertilization. My yard looks excellent. They come in any time I see a weed or an extra mosquito to enjoy my backyard and parties. Mike is only a phone call away. He reacts to my calls immediately. I ordered lawn service. I requested my lawn be seeded. I paid the asking price. I was told later that they couldn t provide the service I requested. I canceled service and asked for a refund. It s been over 30 days and they still haven t refunded my money. This is not the lawn care service you want to use. Very unprofessional way to handle Buisness.

First lawn care company Ive used and was not impressed. On 3 different occasions services were delayed by a few days. Its a huge inconvenience because I have to pick up my entire yard with all my kids toys. The main issue after 3 applications there are still weeds growing everywhere. WHAT AM I PAYING FOR?? I had to go out and buy weed spray from the store. What a joke. I gave it a shot and canceling services.

While performing a grub application, the technician obviously had an issue with their equipment. I found clumps of chemicals in various locations around the lawn, which resulted in dead grass(see pictures). I understand mistakes can happen, but they have been horrible to deal with to address it. I left a poor survey and asked for a call to address it...no response. I had to call the customer service office multiple times to get someone to come out and review it. Someone finally came out a month later, but fixed the wrong area of the lawn, even though I sent them detailed information of the issue. I left multiple messages/texts with the service Manager(Ryan) to come back out to review the right issue....no response. I left two messages with the branch Manager....no response. I would not use this company even if they offered their service for free...ZERO STARS!

They fried my lawn and part of my garden with their spray. They came to reseed but it s still not growing in in the front of my lawn. They said they would have someone call me about covering the bill but never did. Please do not use them, killing my grass was completely their error and they aren t taking any ownership of it.

Worst my lawn has ever looked. Left many messages to have rep look at my front yard. Never replied. Had to terminate service. Having to reseed a good portion of my yard. Lawn burned up from over fertilization done.

Organic lawn company. You can leave our ween control chemicals if you want. Youll pay more than some other companies. I paid for overseeding and they still havent done that. Was hoping for it to be done early September. Maybe after reading this review someone will get it done ASAP. Calling did not help

As a first time customer I was somewhat disappointed in the weeds still in my lawn. They were eager to come out and service my lawn again but the weeds are still there. I believe if the technician would take the time to locate the areas that needed to be addressed the problem would be solved.

The company put weed killer in areas we had contracted for them to stay off. The second time they came unannounced and sprayed my dog s water bowl and toys that were in the yard. I have not been contacted by the company after they told me they would follow up. If they had followed up I would have told them that a section of my yard was burned and the grass died and that turn tracks were left on my side yard; I guess the technician was in a hurry. Great sales pitch but a really disappointing experience.

I had a mole problem a few years ago and tried Lush Lawn. They came out and provided their service and it got my problem under control for a good price. If I had problems between applications they came out at no charge and corrected the problem. Great Service and Value.

Was sent emails before coming out to do job very professional and they do great work

I had Lush Lawn take over mid season and their service is sexy to none. I noticed a difference in my lawn almost immediately. The sales team was professional and knowledgeable but not pushy.

Seeding led to damaging the lawn in many areas. Upon sending the pictures, someone did come up and sprayed some seeds on spots but it got washed away in couple of drizzles... clearly seeding doesn t work by sprinkling seeds on damaged turf. That was a money lost unfortunately. There were all kind of theories that why grass won t grow between PH, soil, etc; while later seeding properly it did make a difference. So in my eyes this was missing from professionals after spending arm and leg... oh well...

Fertilizing the Lawn 7 times with Grub Control. Aeration last year and scheduled this year.

Did not work for me. Only wanted the weeds in flower beds killed but it did not do a good job plus killed parts of my shrubs. They will not pull the weeds only spray them. This doesnt work well for me.

We have been using this lawn service company for off and on for over a decade. Spending $400-$700 a year. I even hooked them up to the President of our sub division. They sold me on the aeration and seed deal. The service man only did my perimeter of my yard, 10% of my yard. The service manager came out to see and agreed, the job performance was lousy. You could see by the holes in the yard. So I canceled, I do not want this service. They are still billing me!!! Remove this bill and I will give a 5star as deserved for all the prior applications.

Great services with a local company

The left hug ruts in my lawn with their machines on more that one occasion. And at least twice they burned my lawn by dumping to much fertilizer in spots. The one guy that came out to correct the problems no longer works there. My lawn is usually the nicest in our subdivision and this year it was one of the worst. I know this is a difficult year but customer service should never be a struggle. Continually using Covid-19 as an excuse does not work. Finally got my last application on November 17th (I thought that this was a bit late). We will not be using this service next season.

Their phone sales people are nothing short of harassment, their service sucks, they need to fertilize their brains.

Terrible service. Spread grass seed all through the flower beds and now we have grass growing everywhere except the yard. Let a muddy mess all.over driveway when they lwft. Been waiting for two months for manager to come.out and looo at the mess thyt have made. When we called, the receptionist said they should have been here by now but no help at all is resolving this matter. No refunds, no management, no customer service at all. They even came out aftrr cancelling service die to lack of communication. I would never recommend this company to my worst enemy. Company is a joke.....

Being unfamiliar with landscaping companies, I asked our neighbor who maintained their lawns, as they always look very full, green and healthy. They gave me the number of Lush Lawn. Mike, the representative that handles my account , is always informative and friendly. He takes the time to explain the pros and cons of the many different services they provide, and how my lawn may benefit from them. He isnt pushy in his sales technique (which I personally prefer), and he stays in regular contact with me, to ensure my satisfaction with the services I Ihave selected. Lush Lawn has proven itself an asset to our shared goal of improving my property! Five stars!

Not happy at all with this company. My yard has numerous brown spots all over the yard. I placed a service call to them and then a week later they sent someone who left a note that they would call me to follow-up, no call and its been over a week. So now over two weeks! Now my yard looks even worse and I had to call them again. My neighbors yards all look much better than mine and no one else has the brown spots like me and my neighbors do not use lush lawn either. I am not happy at all and have spent hundreds of dollars early in the season already for a brown spotted lawn. Do not use this company, many other options our there.

Met these guys at a home show at MSU. Needed a solution for moles. They said they had something. One day had a note on my door that they sprayed, $164. Funny thing is, my wife and I work from home and never saw anyone putting a treatment down. I called to complain because the moles never went away, and got some guy wanting to spray my pine trees. I told him I wanted to cancel. They came out a second time, same thing, note on the door, I didnt see anyone. Called again to cancel and go a lady who said she would. Theyve been out a THIRD time now (ive paid them once). No answer when I call, but they have their robo dialers calling me 3 times a day to pay the invoice. Im not even sure they did anything. I had better results with the poison gummy worms I get at Ace hardware. Beware of Lush Lawn!

I am not writing this review to do this company any harm but maybe help them to see why they might be losing business and to make others aware of the issues I am having. 1. They stopped calling the day before applications. 2. Called to fix them not calling, then they called to say they would be out the next day and did not show up. 3. Paying for crabgrass preventative application and my crabgrass is worse than ever. 4. Called to talk with manager. was told she would call me back the next day. I never got a call back. 5. Called back to find out why and all I got was apologies. 6. Cancelled my account today. This is not good customer service!

So after 5 years of being a loyal customer, this is what Lush Lawn did to my lawn today. I called their customer service and told them what happened. They said they would send someone out to repair the bad spots. I told them I wanted a refund. I was not paying for them to destroy my lawn. I was told they could not discount their service. After a few times around and around the agent offered to give me $10 off. Really?? On top of their service declining since they bought Safari Tree, my lawn looking the worst it has in 5 years, they trash my lawn and offer $10 off. NO THANKS LUSH LAWN. Im out. You just lost a loyal customer who was trying to wait out your bad times and who will not be paying for you to destroy my lawn. There are 3 other houses on my street that Lush destroyed their lawn today. I am sure I was not the only call. Notice the 4th picture. They literally sliced my lawn and attempted to step it back down. Truly sad for a company whose responsibility is to care for my lawn. That doesnt say much about them. Hired these people to get my front lawn into shape so I can possibly sell my house. At NO time did a representative come out from this company to look at my lawn and come up with a plan of action. Noooooooo,,,,, they just stared sending people out with riding carts to dispense chemicals for what I dont know. Then the technician would hang a little paper on your doorknob with something scribbled on it. Long story short, after a year and hundreds of dollars later, my lawn looks exactly as it did when I first called them. Not a happy camper, matter of fact, Im downright mad as hell. This company has one business philosophy. That is to constantly upsell you products and services whether you need them or not.

Terrible customer service. Products DO NOT work, guarantee is a joke. Steer clear, loads of promises made, none were kept. Initially had them just out to give an estimate, all of a sudden a technician shows up to begin service next day without me agreeing first. That should have been my sign to get out while I still could. Slit seeding did not work, they skipped areas, my yard had more crab grass this summer than it ever had before. They put grass seed in my driveway, which did grow, offered a free drive way devegitation, never delivered. Paid for perimeter pest control, had bugs in my house constantly, even had a bees nest, called 4 or 5 times on that, no one ever bothered to come out. 1 star is too much.

Apparently writing a review is the only way to get a response frrom Lush Lawn. They have numerous phone numbers listed on invoices, lawn warning signs, robo calls, etc., but none of the numbers are answered. Some lead to a phone service that asks you to push numbers for various departments, but all those options lead to a general mail box which does not take messages. This is not my experience from a single call, but many calls over many months. So if by chance you are planning an outdoor event tomorrow at your residence, and you get a robocall tellling you that they will be coming out the folllowing day to spay methyl ethyl whatever, you cannot reach them to stop the service. This is not to mention the lack of lawn care that is, the lush lawn way. I had crab grass infiltrate my lawn on all sides of the house. Called to complain (and this one time, (by some miracle of God) I got through and they promised to send some one out to spray in 3-5 days its free they say. 11 days later they sprayed, and I have yet to see results. I entrusted the care of my lawn to lush lawn and am dumbfounded why a crabgrass infiltration was not caught in the early stages, by a knowledgeable and trained employee, during one of their many scheduled visits this summer. At the beginning of the summer I was called by lush lawn telling me I had a rodent called a vole (I think) and it would be in my best interest if I had them treat for it (and pay). They warned that the vole would eat tunnels throughout my lawn. I did not elect the treatment, nor have there been signs of the creature since. Lush lawn is giving customers the appearance of a poorly administered company which is not set to handle the growth it is experiencing. It is not all about hte customer, but all about the sale. It will likely not continue to see growth if this continues. I plan on cancelling my contract after the last service visit this fall.

I have been listed on the Do Not Call registry since its inception. I see that I am not the only one who is getting these unwanted calls. The owner of this business is flagrantly ignoring the law. Dont do business with someone who ignores a well-known consumer protection law.

STAY AWAY. They sound great on the phone, but if they show up (rare) they do more damage than good. I started with an over seeding in the fall of 2016. They told me I would get a phone call 24 hours before they arrived so I could clean up the leaves in my yard. They never called, they just showed up and sprayed seed all over the wet leaves. They also missed significant sections of my yard. I complained and a manager came out, confirmed it wasnt done well and sent someone out to redo it. The next spring (2017) they started the fertilizer treatment by twice calling to say they were coming out and then never came. When they did come, their machine broke down and they couldnt fertilize the lawn. When they came back the next day they did something that left dead grass tracks through my yard. The dead tracks were the same width as the tire tracks on their vehicle and went in a circular pattern around my yard. Again, a manager came out, confirmed what happened and said I would be scheduled for emergency treatment to repair what happened. 4 weeks later still nothing had been done so I called and told them to cancel the service, Ill pay for the first lawn-killing service then to never bother me again. Michael, the sales rep from Brighton kept calling me every few months offering more services. Twice I had to tell him to never call me again. I received yet another call from Justin (February 2018) and I told him what happened with the burn marks and he told me that my lawn was just diseased, it wasnt their equipment. I finally told Justin Im armed and they need to stay off my property. He told me I need to learn some social skills. I hung up after that. Stay away from this company.

I recently moved from Howell to Brighton. I had used Lush Lawn for lawn care and when I moved, I transferred service and was satisfied again. During the off season, I got some quotes from other providers and some came in lower, but I was leery of changing from a service I already knew was of good quality. I called and spoke with Corey who was extremely knowledgeable and was able to find me a service schedule that was an acceptable cost and allowed me to feel good about staying with tge service I wanted most.

Called as a robocaller and I am on the do not call list. This is an illegal activity.

Manipulative. Dishonest. Awful. This was the worst experience Ive ever had with a company. There are organizations where you have a bad experience and its oh well, customer care isnt what is was and you move on...I do not complain much...then there are companies that you want to stand at the door of and talk to every potential client that comes in the door and serve as a warning...this is one of them...this is actually the ONLY company Ive felt this strongly negative about. I was asked to host a wedding in my front yard. No worries. I had A LOT to do to prep for this, and wanted to delegate lawn care to another company. High five Lush Lawn.. I called and they tried to pitch me on a seasonal package. I was very firm with them that I only wanted 4 treatments. I clarified this over and over. They pushed for the seasonal package as a GOOD SALES TEAM should...I said no, and we agreed to a 4 treatment plan. On the 5th treatment, I paid, and immediately called saying this was an incorrect application as we were done. On their 6th visit, I stopped the lawn care person and told him we were done with our plan. He said he was supposed to be there...I said no...he said, I will finish up anyway and talk to my manager. I said, Thats okay. Just be done now. And I got a bill for the 6th visit. When I called Lush Lawn to talk about the experience, they said that I had agreed to the package. I confidently said NO, I did not. To which they sent me a recorded conversation of my sales call...but edited the entire thing so that it was literally the last minute of the call...the recording started at this, So we agree to the package. Yes, thats the plan. Great, well start in XX weeks. Purposefully leaving out the entire convo where the salesperson and I discussed the package was to be 4 visits. And then I was sent bill after bill for the 6th half-completion that I cancelled. Awful. Dont sign with them. Its not worth it.

I got a cold call from Lush Lawn back in February. Thinking I wanted to fix my pitiful lawn, I thought to give them a try. Got my first application this week and my lawn must love it because it is actually turning green. The staff is so helpful. I am glad I took the risk!

Fall 2017: Tried getting an aeration and overseed: 1. I paid in advance (mistake apparently) 2. It took over two weeks and 4 reschedules due to their lack of professionalism in order to get the work performed. 3. Lawn was 5-10% aerated (had full plugs removed) whereas the rest of the lawn had small pokes into the grass/partial dirt. 4. They came out after I complained it didn t look complete and they said, no U can still see reminance of plugs ... 5. Never offered to compensate in any way Do not recommend. *Spring 2018 Update* So Lush Lawn offered a Free return service this Spring to make up for the poor job in the Fall. After confirming with them to use the correct equipment (the walk behind instead of ride on machine), they still used the wrong equipment and my front yard was barely (if at all) aerated. Are you kidding? Still do not recommend.

I signed up for Lush lawn de veg 3/15/18 at a home show and I was told that someone will call before they come so I can show them the areas I want done, and they pulled up my home on the computer. Since then I have had two different people call me to see if I wanted to purchase their products not realizing I already am suppose to be a customer of theirs. The first time I was told they had just started working 2 weeks ago and I will be on the 5 day waiting list to speed things up. The next time I talked to anyone was when they called to see if I wanted to be a customer and to my dismay said, I have already been waiting for you all to show up to spray and no one has ever come I got a call back explaining that they had the wrong address and they apologized. Some how they found out the correct address because they never asked me for it. Then I was told they will get a rush on it. To say the least this company is very disorganized. Finally June 5, 18 someone showed up to spray but they did not contact me before hand and didnt do the areas I specified. So again I called and now am waiting for someone to return to do the area they left off. I wonder how long I will wait for this? When I signed up the agent told me they would start spraying early because I told him I have weeds that never quit, and so since they didnt show up for a long time I started to pull by hand and mow areas. I hope no one else has this run around to deal with. I am just hoping the weed eater spray is as good as they say it is because if I could stop pulling all these weeds every summer I would be the happiest person in the world.

If I could give 0 stars I would. BEWARE! They do dirty business. When you speak with a sales representative on the phone they will sneak in additional services and say it is included in your monthly service charge. In addition when you agree to a service they were supposed to tell us when they will be conducting the service, just in case we wanted to cancel and they of course didnt.Then when they come out and do service, they will find problem X with your lawn and say you need to spend an additional fee to fix it. They have horrible customer service. I do blame myself and should have looked at the bills in more detail then I would have caught their dishonest way of business sooner. They dont try to resolve the problem they just tell you if you dont pay the bill they will send to collections. Not to mention our lawn looks worse! We have dead spots all over. The only thing I can say is they definitely steered our neighbors away from using them because how our lawn looks and them being so dishonest. Truly beware with them!

Im really surprised that there are so many lower reviews! I used to be with TruGreen and my lawn looked poor. They missed appointments, didnt call me back, and never did anything to make it right. So, I decided to give Lush Lawn a try because their pricing was competitive. It was when I canceled that Tru Green finally started calling me back, offering greatly reduced pricing if I would just give them another chance. Id had it, and declined their multiple offers. Im glad I did. My lawn has never looked so good. Yesterday, as I was leaving for work today, I saw one off your staff applying a treatment to my lawn. Realizing that my sprinkler system was on, I turned it off for him. He stopped to chat with me for a few minutes and, when I noticed that a tree had split and fallen into my yard sometime the previous evening, this nice young man even offered to help me move the fallen tree off of the lawn. Upon examination, it was soon clear that it was too big for the two of us to move without my cutting it, so I thanked him for offering. I introduced myself, and he told me his name was Caleb. When I came home, I could tell by the tracks in my yard that he had done an exceptionally thorough job applying the treatment. Now that I know the guy, I have asked that Caleb be permanently assigned to take care of my lawn going forward. I would highly recommend this service. . .

I just moved to Livingston County and started using Lush Lawn. I have been very happy with the service I have been receiving thus far. Corey Alexander has been top notch. Highly recommend their service.

Extremely disappointed with their customer service. Over promised and under delivered. When they came when I wasnt home, Im not sure they actually did anything.

I wish I had checked here before hiring these clowns. I paid them over $1,000 to simply kill some grass and reseed a few areas. After SEVERAL attempts without the grass growing back, and having paid them more than once, I finally said, Guys, lets just say you tried and move on. I really need to get some grass in here; its been over a year, and my neighborhood association is going to start fining me. Their response? Pay us the last $100.00 or well turn you over to a collection agency!!! They called 2-3 times a day, every day, for over a month. I made the mistake of taking time to talk to them each time and being nice. Talking to Stephanie was like talking to a brick wall. I have LOTS of pictures from over the course of the year if anyone would like to see them. There are so many good lawn companies out there; why take a chance with these idiots? These guys are so incompetent that they literally CANT EVEN GROW GRASS! Lush Lawns? Hahahaha! In your dreams! (by the way, Im sure the owner will respond to this post like he has responded to all of the other complaints on the other Review sites. But the proof is in the pudding - he will respond online, where other potential customers might see it, but did he EVER call me to try to resolve the problem? NOT ONE TIME IN OVER A YEAR! And now his threat is to try to trash my credit over $100? Dont put yourself at this criminals mercy. HE DOES NOT RUN AN ETHICAL BUSINESS!

Not happy with services. Customer service is not their top priority.....weeds persist but bills are always waiting.

They might as well have been putting water down on our lawn. We cancelled our service within a 2 months and switched back to trugreen.

We have been using lush lawn for a while now and love their service! They are very thorough and good about notifying you when will be out at your home! I would recommend them!

I had called the Brighton Office(8/22/18) and spoke with Shana, to have a account manager come and look at my yard to evaluate why I was still growing crab grass and weeds after 3 application of their weed and feed. I was told by Shana a customer service manager that a account manger would be out the following week(8/27/18-8/31/18). I waited all week to hear from someone, finally on 8/31 afternoon, I had to call. I talk to Jessica another customer service rep. I informed Jessica of my issue, and she could not explain why no one had been in contact with me. I asked to speak to a manager, and I was advise that Jessica s manger had stepped out for a minute. I asked Jessica to have the customer service manager Call me back when she came back. No call or email was returned. I than called back 9/4/18 to figure out what the reason was for 1) no one contacting me for a no show, and 2) why the customer service manager did not return my call. I had spoke with Jessica again, and asked her if she passed along the message to call me back. Her exact words were I believe I did I ask Jessica does she believes she did or did she? Jessica than responded with I did . Customer service manager Shana got on the phone, and when I asked her why she did not return my call, she replied with I never got a message to call back So after again explaining my situation to Shana again, she simply state I don t know why an account manager didn t didn t contact you This company is clearly disorganized and needs to retrain their managers on customer service and teach there employees what honesty means, or get new employees that care about there jobs. I had to talk to the account manager myself and schedule a time myself for an account manager to come. The customer service and service all around at the Brighton location is beyond poor, and very unwilling to correct their wrong, but will easily pass the blame and be ok with their poor quality.

Made a switch this yer to lush lawn and I am loving the results. After each treatment I can see a difference. My lawn is thicker and greener than it has been in years. They also have great customer service with reps that are knowledgable and ready to answer your questions.

This was my first time using Lush Lawns and my last. My lawn is overrun with weeds and honestly looks the worst it has in years. I called to have them come back out to spray and week and a half goes by and still no one has showed up. I paid $190 for 5 applications and called to cancel the last application since I went ahead and applied my own fertilizer and they were going to refund me $6! Would not recommend this company

As others have noted - if there was a zero, I would give this company that score. After calling directly to the office and asking not to have the next treatment done by the riding machine (because of new sprinkler system installation and new grass), the next application was, alas, done by the riding machine, grass was torn up, and had to be reseeded. Additionally, after Lush Lawn has visited our neighborhood, there is more treatment on the driveways and sidewalks than on the actual lawns. Again, after talking directly to their staff about this (and the excuse being the person who did that doesnt work here any longer), it continues. Dont be fooled by their constant refrain that we want to make this right. I strongly suggest to this company that you work hardest to get it right the first time and, perhaps, spend less time responding to the many negative reviews here and work on your internal communication system so that the wishes of your customers are honored.

I would give them a zero. We have used lush lawn for almost 5 years. The first couple of years went well, but has gone downhill. I would recommend you stay away from them. Have had multiple times where they have burnt our lawn. Cancelled last year because they found grubs and didnt treat well enough that they had to treat 2 more times. They promised theyd do better, but Im done with this company. Just isnt worth my time. Not helpful or willing to admit their errors and make it right. BEWARE. So I posted the above around 4 weeks ago and before we moved no one had contacted me. I called to find out when the last application would be done and was informed by the gal who answered the phone that our account had been cancelled. She indicated that I had been told to aerate my yard. Also was told Id receive a refund check. Just called again today and now told that I wouldnt be receiving a refund check due to the fact that the credit I was given when I signed up for service. Asked why I didnt receive a call about this and the gals answer was my co-worker has it on her list to do, but its been at least 3 weeks since I talked to someone about the refund. Your customer service is far below par. Sorry, but no one contacted me or came out to talk to me in person. Again I say BEWARE. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Lush Lawn in Brighton is HORRIBLE. I have had a weed problem for two months with three additional applications for weeds and they are overtaking my yard. I will never use their service again. When I called to discuss paying my last payment and cancel my service... They of course now offer to come and treat for difficult weeds. Did my prior three phone calls and extra treatments not indicate I was having a difficult weed problem?????? I thought you were the experts! Very poor service . Of course I do NOT want you coming to fix my difficult weed problem NOW. YOU are the problem. Do not recommend

This is my first season using lush lawn. While their prices are competitive, their results are poor. I hired them this spring for slit seeding of my lawn, as well as paid for an entire season of fertilizer and soil treatments. While the fertilization did show some results, the soil program and slit seeding was a complete waste of money. Somehow my lawn is thinner and more sparse than it was before I hired them. I did reach out regarding their results guarantee and they were happy to come back out. Problem is they said they were coming out within a few days of contacting them (September 12) and they didnt show until the last few days of October. It was in the 30s every night and definitely doesnt seem capable germination at this point. Oh, and they broke a sprinkler head in the process. I emailed the account manager (Matt Harris) almost 2 weeks ago and never got a response. This is a large company growing at a quick pace and they only seem to care about new client acquisitions.

This company has called me multiple times over the past few days and haven t left voicemails. I ve reported the number as spam to have it blocked.

My prior post was 1 star. It had to do with a billing issue. Since then, Lush lawn has rectified the issue and apologized for the error. I was frustrated, but understand issues happen. I would like to change my review because believe it or not, this past summer, my lawn never looked so good. I do believe in their product and they were actually cheaper than me doing it myself. The people I have spoken to have been nothing but professional and I do value their service. You have regained my confidence and look forward to working with you guys in the future

This place is the worst. Can I give negative stars? I gave them my info because we had crickets last summer. Was told to give them a call in the spring when we see crickets, and they would come spray. They sprayed without a call (we jhadnt seen crickets yet). Called to complain, was told they dont treat crickets. The person assisted told us he would check and call back. He called bacl, said the mosquito spray worked for crickets. I paid that invoice and cancelled my service a few weeks later. They sprayed after I canclled, left another invoice. When I called to dispute the invoice, I was sent to VM twice, no calls returned. When I finally spoke to someone, I was again told that the treatment didnt cover crickets. They agreed to send me a check for the first treatment, and cancel the second invoice. Two days later, I received a call that they had accidentally double charged my card, but I would be credited that day. 4 days have passed and they are checking with corporate to see how long it will take. So Ive now been charged 3 times for a service that I didnt need and even with two mosquito treatments, I still have mosquitos.

I used Lush Lawn out of Brighton for 2 years and see no improvement in my lawn especially when compared to my neighbors to the side, back and across the street that have not had lawn services. I paid extra for a slit seeding (over seeding) on my yard and the job was done so badly that hardly any seed actually got below the surface so my grass is not thick. I also paid for 2 years services on my mothers lawn and the same goes for her yard although I paid extra for the aeration and over seeding there and again, no additional grass growing and certainly there are no fewer weeds! The young man who came to apply the over seeding didn t even know how to use the machine and ran into my fence and lamp post as well. I told the company that if they re going to send someone out to do a job, they should teach them how to use the equipment first! I was not happy at all! After the first year I told them how disappointed I was in their services and they gave me a price discount for the 2nd year and a promise to over seed both properties if I wasnt happy after the second year. Needless to say, the promise wasnt on paper so Id call it a lie because I did call to let them know even after the second year my lawn looks no better than my neighbors and Ive got long grass in some areas as if there are at least 5 different types of grass and I still have the weeds. They did offer to allow me to hire them again and I laughed and said nope, I don t think so! They were supposed to come out and look at my lawn but no one ever did. The funny thing is one neighbor of mine thought my yard looked great because of Lush Lawn during our drought and I told them no, that was a $200.00 water bill and after the rains, everyones yard looked at good as mine anyway. Live and learn, right? Why would I ever recommend a business or service that doesn t do me right? I can t, I won t, and I never will. Anyway, I think I was the one who got fertilized. The 2 pictures show a small area in my yard where the grass is thick and tall but most of the yard is like the other picture. Im still working on it myself, now.

Good service and they fixed my yard so far... I live in a new house and soil wasnt the best for sod to grow on. I tried to maintain myself last year but it go to be too much. Ive had soil treatment to help lower the Ph level and it was a huge improvement. I do not need to water my yard as much and it is much greener. Granted the rain we got this year has helped. The weed control could be a little better which is why I am not giving this a 5 star. I still have to do weed control on my own once every week. I also do understand this is the first year for the yard to be treated and controlled. I also wish they would itemize the bills so it is easier to split payments up.

This service truly sucks. They did the lawn service at the house I rented for 2 years. I constantly kept telling the landlords to fire them. I lost count on how many times they chewed up the front lawn by practically doing donuts with the mowers. Cannot believe the landlord didnt fire them the entire time we lived there. Stay far away from this company

They attempt to force you into a service and once you are in, they dont want to let you cancel.

Im very disappointed with Lush Lawn. Im supposed to be a call ahead because I have a little dog. When I was out of the country, Lush Lawn aerated my property without asking. Ive called the office. Their staff was rude. I have left repeated messages for the manager and he wont call me back. I left a message stating do not enter my property or else you will be trespassing and today they showed up unannounced. It is decent courtesy, if you are going to spend $300 of my money, at least ask me. Additionally, Ive never had so many weeds. It is an outrage. Be forewarned prior to using this company. Bottom line....they have terrible customer service and I still have weeds.

I signed up for the 5 application plan. I had them return 3 extra times to address the weed problem. I still have many weeds. My lawn was thin. It is still thin and has not improved one bit. After they serviced my lawn each time I would go outside and look at it. I would hardly see any fertilizer granules on the ground. I told them this, but it did not improve at all. I will not re-sign with them if these problems are not fixed. As far as I am concerned I paid them over $400.00 and received nothing. Paul Agne
