Ive been a Weedman customer for over 10 years and the service has always been great. The lawn techs do a great job keeping my lawn green and weed free, and the sales and support staff are helpful and always happy to answer any questions.

I signed up for a year of weed service and paid in full. They auto renewed me after the year was up and sent someone out and sent a bill. They are now saying I owe for a service I did not want, schedule or consent for. Be wary.

He pays attention to detail and my yard has never looked better. I really needed the Wild Violet program and it has worked remarkably well. I have been fighting those damn things for years and they are mostly gone with just half of the treatments!

Stop calling me. I have zero interest in restarting services and you have now called 6+ times. Since you are so interested in my time, heres my review: The billing of this business was shady, I had charges rollover that I was not made aware of and then I was dismissively told that I was definitely aware. I paid the charges regardless, as the work had already been done without my notice, and its certainly possible that I made the mistake. I ended the services on a good note only to be spam called by this business. For anyone considering their services, dont. Theres many other lawn care services that will respect your business.

Excellent results. Applications are done with care to protect from overspray into ornamental plants. Marc Jackson does an excellent job.

Kaleb Brown came to our house and serviced our lawn and did a great job. He was patient with us even though we lost the key to our gate and couldnt let him in to our backyard, and provided us his card so that we could call him to come back if we found the key while he was still in the neighborhood. We found the key, Kaleb was still in the neighborhood, and he came back to finish the job. He even made sure to close and lock the gate back when he left, which is not always the case when people come to work in our yard.

I have been using Weed Man for years. They service 3 of the 6 homes in our cul de sac. I could not possibly be happier with them. Always an email and text 48 hrs in advance of them coming out. Scott, our technician, is incredible to work with. Always rings our doorbell before starting to confirm what he s doing that visit. Always asks how things are going and if we have any questions. His background is in horticulture. It s very obvious to me it is more than just a job to him he genuinely cares and is invested in what he does and genuinely cares about the satisfaction of his customers. I could not be happier with him or Weed Man!

After telling the salesman last year that I was no longer going to use their services, they sent someone out and charged me for it! Last year, the weed treatment did not work for my lawn. When I called and spoke with them about it they told me I had to wait two weeks to see if the product worked. After two weeks with no results, I would call back and tell them I was still having a problem but they said they would just move up my next application. The problem persisted without ever fixing the problem. When I called customer service again after they serviced my yard after telling them I did not want to, the representative told me that I never told them I wanted to cancel our service, I just told them I declined lawn aeration.

Weve had Weedmans full lawn care service for 5+ years and theyve always done an outstanding job. Our back yard was referred to as a desert when they started. They have performed miracles and now we get compliments on our yard. Frank is wonderful to work with, friendly, professional, and on time.

Started out great! 1st season newly sodded lawn was kept looking good. 2nd Season I called Once because I didnt think they showed up to treat my lawn and Im noticing brown spots in well watered lawn. Neighbor had lawn treated and mine didnt look like it had. Next time I saw Weedman truck two houses down. They had just text that they would be treating in the next two days on Monday. It is Wednesday and Im home and outside working. I figure they will be by soon enough. They did not show up. I paid for the service. That is 2 times in a row didnt show up Replied to the automated text to cancel service and issue refund and they said they would. Decent service if they show up I guess.

I wished I would have read the reviews before starting with this company. Two times in a row the technician never showed but I was charged a fee for a service that was never rendered. My weeds are still growing out of control after dealing with them for months. I ve complained only to receive the same messages that the technician was at my home but they never knocked or even asked what area to spray. I WFH so of course I would see someone treating my front and back yard but I never seen anyone. I will dispute this with my bank. Try a different company. They are just out to get paid but never complete services promised.

My wife contracted with Weedman several years ago and even referred people to them who hired them. THIS YEAR HAS BEEN A COMPLETE DISASTER! They rarely showed up, even after numerous calls. Because they didnt fulfill their side of our agreement we now have dead grass and fungus that is costing time and money to try to fix. When my wife called to cancel and wanted all the money refunded, she never received a call apologizing or offering something to keep the business. WE WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN! hope people reading this review will save their money and shop elsewhere.

Weed Man finally got around to aerating and over seeding our lawn today. It was 3 weeks earlier than last year. Problem is their customer service is so pathetic that they wouldn t give us a 15-20 minute notice that they were on their way so we could go home and lock our dogs in. The dogs were shut up for 3 days waiting on them to do the yard. The lady my wife talked to said it was against their policy for technicians to be on their phones while driving. That s a good policy. What s wrong with having them call BEFORE they start driving? We ve been using them for several years and I still have to do a considerable amount of weed care despite the fact that we pay them to do that. Well, we did. We re done. We will not renew.

Love Weedmans online portal and prepaid yearly service. Pretty much everything can be handled online, which I like. Steve is great and just met him today!! He brought my trash cans up and was super nice and introduced himself. Thanks Steve!

The guy that came to service my yard was very professional. I was impressed with the service and called to sign my dad up. This was a very unpleasant experience so much so I called back and cancelled my own service. I asked why his service was double the price of mine. I was told his yard is 3x the size of mine. His yard is larger than mine but not 3x the size. While discussing this with my dad, the lady on the phone kept interjecting. It was very unprofessional. I disconnected the call as I decided to no longer pursue the service for him. I then called back to cancel my own service because of the experience and the lady, Cory, attempted to bait me into an argument after I told her I had no desire to discuss the master further.

First time customer and I am not happy with the service. Called for reapplication of weed control so the process of preparing for reseeding and sod can be done and this company hasn t scheduled the reapplication as of today. Will not use again - was trying to wait to write review based upon their service and quality of products. Too early to tell if the grass will be a lust green because it s zoysia a true warm season grass. That sometimes doesn t show results until middle of May. Will update once grass turns green. However, the services at this point is very poor and will not be renewing. I will be using my neighbors company that are more timely and most definitely have my neighbors yard looking lust green.

We scheduled them to come out and perform a treatment for our yard. The Company provided a time by which they would be there on a Monday (May 2nd): between 9 and noon. My wife waited around until one oclock and no one showed up. She called the Company and they said it looks like the tech called in sick. At that point, we just decided to buy weed & feed from Home Depot and treat the yard ourselves. This was a mistake because while we were away on May 11th, a tech came out to our house unannounced and unscheduled and performed a treatment. This was only a couple days after we had treated the yard, which resulted in some of our grass dying. Both my wife and I called several times to try to see what needed to be done to avoid more grass dying. We were able to connect with the receptionist several times but no one else would call us back. No one would call us back about processing a refund either. Then, today, May 18th the Company called us again to get us on the calendar for another treatment. This just seems like a poorly run business that doesnt communicate well and doesnt care about doing the right thing.

Our yard look absolutely horrible last year. Then we started using Weed Man and ever since we started using them our grass has been so beautiful! They are very reasonably priced and its very much worth the money. We will continue to use them every year.

My lawn was dirt and weeds and most of the grass was dead but after Weed Man treated it now it is full of beautiful green grass. Thank you Weed Man for killing the weeds and getting new grass to grow! The employees are courteous, very knowledgeable, and helpful to answer questions.

They worked magic I ve tried to get grass to grow since 2017 when we had a new septic and a 90 retaining wall put in. The heavy equipment and the erosion not to mention a 19 mole infestation made sure that I had spotty weed grass if any at all I saw results after 1 treatment the money I spent on seed and fertilizer trying to do it myself could have paid for this service 3 times wish I would have hired 4 yrs ago

Slowly becoming worst yard on the block. Ive used Weed Man at two properties. The first went well enough however, the second has had issues since starting the service. Ive reached out to the company for assistance but no resolution yet. Literally each week there are more and more weeds in my yard. Not sure what to do since (**warning**) they dont give refunds. This is quite disappointing - not sure if its under new management or what. Responding to comment - I appreciate that you would refund payments for services not already performed, but (and I think I speak for most customers) you should be willing to refund payments for failed work if you stand behind your service / company claims etc.

I am not happy with what they are doing. I am wasting my money. My neighbors grass looks better than mine. All they do is cut it. Ill never use them again.

Very dissatisfied with weed control. My lawn is has as much weeds as it did before I used Weedman srvice.

Hired them for weed control, fertilizations, and mosquito control. Price was a little higher than other bids but I chose them because of the door to door guy. Even convinced the neighbor to sign up, was told just give her my direct number and she would take care of it for my referral credit. Called back a few weeks later to check in on that credit and was told I didnt have any. Girl in the office made an excuse that my neighbor found them on google. There was no compromise so I cancelled my service at the end of the season since I foolishly pre-paid for the year of treatment. The dispatched workers/ lawn care guys are great but the office is full of bait and switch/ deceptive tactics.

Managers instructing employees to park vehicles on the wrong side of the street facing the wrong direction while servicing houses is unprofessional and illegal. The service technician today pulled directly in front of me as oncoming traffic on a two lane residential street I had to slam on my brakes, stop then go around him into oncoming traffic. I spoke with the technician he said his manager instructed him to park this way. The woman who answered the main office phone laughed at the end of our conversation and hung up on me. The owner of this business need to pay better attention.

We ve had Weed Man for a couple years now. They provide great, consistent service.

Had the service for a few months. Had a tech literally pull up to my house, sit in the truck for 1 minute and then drive off. I feel cheated. Received no notice in advance that they would come for service during treatments, so I am unsure whether any service has been provided. Especially since part of my yard is covered with a privacy fence. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! You will be wasting your money.

We moved into our home 1 year ago and the yard had been neglected for years. Weedman came in and restored our yard. Grass is green, thick and beautiful. We are so pleased with how they have revitalized our lawn! 6/14/21 This is an update on my yard! We are soooo happy with our lawn! I can t say enough about how beautiful it is! My husband and I talk about it a lot bc at the start it was a sad sad lawn! When we have parties our friends compliment it often. We have worked on our landscaping a lot and Weedman has resurrected our lawn! Thank you Weedman!!!!! I was prepared to post pictures but don t see that option!!!!

When I purchased my home in the fall of 2019 everything was great. But when springtime 2020 came, the lawn was brown and spotty. We had the worst lawn on the block of beautiful and well manicured lawns. It brought me to tears. I noticed that a lot of my neighbors used Weedman, so we gave them a call. By summertime, our lawn was starting to look like a normal lawn. We did all of the recommended services for the entire year and when springtime 2021 came around, our lawn was green and beautiful. It was the complete opposite from the condition of the lawn the previous year. It is now thick, lush, and bright green. I definitely recommend Weedman to get your lawn together.

This is my first and only season using Weed Man to fertilize and control yard weeds. Fertilization went fine. Weed control did not happen! I ve dealt with a technician doing the wrong lawn once and stopped another from mistakenly doing my neighbor s yard another time. (Our house number is clearly marked.) We ll be finding another company that can manage our weeds next season.

Contract was canceled but they came and treated my lawn anyway and charged me for treatment after contract expired. Not only that but charged me for treatment after lawn doctor came the day before to treat. They refuse to work with you. Sign with someone else

BUYER BEWARE !!!!!! These guys will continue servicing you account even after the contract is over and keep billing you. After poor service for a year and paying for constant worthless applications we decided to not renew our contract. There guy came out and treated anyway even after we had switched to TRUE GREEN. The Weedman guy even yanked out the Trugreen sign and replaced it with his own, totally unprofessional.

Brandon was just here to do the third treatment to my lawn. He was extremely pleasant, answered all of my questions, was professional and just a pleasant interaction with him. My lawn is starting to look great ! Its this interaction with Brandon that insures I will remain a patron.

We always struggled with our lawn looking the way we wanted it to. We tried everything, even tilling the front yard and starting from scratch. After numerous attempts and little success, I was referred to Weed Man. We noticed a huge difference after the first few applications in the Spring and Summer. By the following Spring our lawn has never looked better. This is my second season using them and I get a ton of compliments on our lawn. Worth every penny.

When my family and I bought our house, the front yard was about 1/3 grass, 1/3 moss, and the remaining 1/3 was just mud. I tried seeding, fertilizing and aerating myself for a couple of years, but it didnt make much difference. A friend recommended Weed Man, so we gave them a shot. Theyve always been very easy to work with. Their on-site professionals have even picked up our kids toys in the lawn when we forgot to, without complaint or additional charges. They also leave detailed and easy to follow instructions for any after care (watering and the like) thats needed in the days following fertilization or seeding, including how to adjust based on weather. Over the three years theyve taken care of our lawn, all the bare spots in the front and back yards have gone away. The front yard is now all grass, and it looks great. The moss and mud are gone, so its finally nice to hang out in the front yard with the neighbors. They do a great job. I highly recommend them.

Ive had a very good experience with this company. Their services were fast, reasonably priced, and very effective. Whenever I had any problems customer service and management did a VERY good job handling my issues. I highly recommend them.

They came, were at my house for maybe 10 minutes. THEN left my back gate open, and my dogs got out. Next time....they can meet the dogs they almost let out to get lost. I have not actually used this service before but I certainly would NOT recommend them based on how someone was driving on Zumbehl Road at 7:30am Thurs. May 30 in St. Charles. He/She severely cut me off as I was driving with my children in the car. Seriously stupid and dangerous, and I would never patronize the company based on that.

My lawn has benefited from all the care received by weed man lawn care. The fertilizer and weed prevention and the the aeration and over seeding. I couldn t be more pleased nor replicate what they have done.

I have tried for years to have my lawn beautiful, kept buying sod, putting fertilizer on and still not happy with it. Finally in April 2019 went with weed man even thou I missed the crab grass preventer my lawn looks 100 % better. I highly recommend the weed man

We have had this service for many years and we have a beautiful lawn! The cost is reasonable as my husband says he would pay as much just to buy the product. We sign up at the beginning of the year for 7 treatments, they come and do their job, leave a note with the receipt. I find them very trustworthy and would recommend them!

I have had three different lawn care services in the last 7 years. Weed Man has been my provider for the last two years. PROS: Locally owned Very professional Very affordable ( fixed income and 2 1/2 acres). Technician (Scott), What a nice guy. I love him. Understands my concerns and is very considerate. Makes sure my driveway and sidewalk is cleaned after application. Customer Service will assist anyway they can. CONS: My neighbors are jealous how awesome my yard is. 1 random dandelion and that is it. I feel sorry for the Bees.

Great service! My lawn care technician is very knowledgeable and it is obvious he enjoys what he is doing. I had a moderately bad problem with nutsedge and clover and they were able to clear that up within only a month or so. I have received many compliments about my lawn from people jogging or walking their dogs. I would highly recommend Weed Man for your lawn service.

I have been completely happy with Weed Man, having used them for the past year. My yard was in pretty bad shape at first, lots of weeds, bald spots, you name it I had it. The care they provided my yard was personalized, taking the time to get it back into shape and something I could be proud of. Previously I had used TruGreen and spent a large amount of money with them with less than half the results as Weed Man. As with any company that is providing a service, what they sell you has to be as good as the people who provide that service for you, with Weed Man I get techs that are willing to take the few extra minutes and discuss what they did and what I need to do in order for it to work. The techs are polite and respectful, never have I had one that was grumpy or in a bad mood, this says a lot about the company itself. And the gals Ive talked to on the phone are the same way. I recommend Weed Man without a question.

Do not use this company. I cancelled my service at the end of the year. The next year they still came out and sent me a bill. I disputed and they sent me to collections. They are rude, are not interested in solving customer billing issues. They treated me like a dead beat and it was their mistake.

Ive used Weed Man for the past 5 years on my lawn and they took my lawn from poor to excellent in no time at all. With regular treatments on my lawn I now have the best looking lawn in the neighborhood! I would for sure recommend using this company to family, friends and neighbors!

After a door to door rep explained Weed Man s process a year ago I took a chance as an alternative to sod which I was quoted $1900 to sod from a landscaping company. I started the Weed Man service April 2017 and as of today my yard does look completely different for the better. I stuck with the monthly applications and did the aeriation and overseeing. I m looking forward to see my new lawn in the spring. My advice is to be patient and stick with the process. My lawn went from weeds and dirt to a nice grassy lawn. I have a dog who is out on the lawn every day and no problems. Billing and customer service was neve an issue. Everything was explained clearly and my expectations were set. Brian

The service I get from Weed Man Lawn Service is second to none. My lawn throughout the growing season is always pretty, healthy and green. My lawn tech Keith Brooks always leaves me with a short written note on my lawn s condition as well as what sort of treatment he has used. The prices are competitive and very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them to my neighbors and friends!!! Oops, I already have!

Our lawn had been showing signs of neglect as our good intentions each new year were quickly crushed under the weight of other, more pressing matters. I have to admit that I was a hard sell, because, as always, we had such good intentions for our lawn this year. In the end my husband and I --and no doubt our lawn, are glad I caved, because our lawn looks the best it has looked since we moved here five years ago. Amazing what a little TLC can accomplish!

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY - Even with a No Soliciting sign posted on the door, they rang the doorbell. That interrupted 4 hours worth of work which took me an additional hour to recapture the process. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

What a mistake. Door to door marketing, I was weak and felt sorry for a kid. Never used the service but now Im getting ongoing telemarketing harassment. Requested several times that they stop calling. Seems like a violation of the do not call list. Since they dont seem to honor my request or perhaps the law wouldnt trust them on my property. 2015-08-12 Still calling. Promised to stop calling. 2016-03-03 Sill calling. Promised... who am I kidding?

They called about a supposed past due bill even though we paid every bill they left the same day. So they must not have done the treatment they said they did. Whatever wife paid it instead of arguing. Week later we get another bill. Yea not paying this one.

Do not use this company! Poor service, charging for per application and they mix 2 products together then charge you twice. They killed some of my vegetation. Also they are difficult to get a hold of when you have a problem.

Ive had a good experience with them on my primary and rental property. Theyve done a good job, billing was easy, the treatment was good. It wasnt expensive so for a one-time winter treatment I was happy with it.

We got Weed Man services about a year ago. Our dog died one day while playing in the grass. The cause of death, poisoning. We called the office to cancel our service. About a month later I found a Weed Man truck in our driveway, and a man in our yard. I went out side and told him that we had cancelled our service and that he needed to leave. He went back to his truck, got on his computer, and it showed that we never even called them about our service. A few days later he came back to try to fertilize our lawn. I called the police, but they couldnt do anything about it without the company saying that they wouldnt cancel my service. I decided to let the officer listen to the phone call.

If you like people knocking on your doors at 9PM at night in the dark to harass you about weed treatment, then hire these people. They are obviously not professionals and not respectful of peoples family time.

For months I have been receiving telemarketing calls after repeatedly requesting that they place me on their internal Do Not Call list (DNC) and advising them that I was on the National Do Not Call list. The calls continue. Business must be good enough to pay the fine for continuously violating federal law. Its only a $13,000 fine...per call. STOP CALLING PEOPLE unsolicited!
