There are plenty of other professional lawn care company's in the area that can handle any lawn care needs you may have. Do yourself a favor and give those other businesses a call and stay away from this one. You'll thank me later.
Proceed with caution when considering this lawn care company. Unfortunately, we had a negative experience with their service. Despite expressing our concerns multiple times about the lack of progress on our front lawn, we did not see any satisfactory results. Surprisingly, our neighbors, who have similar shade conditions, managed to grow more grass without the assistance of this service. During a follow-up call to address our shock over the complete deterioration of our front lawn, we encountered unprofessional behavior from the company representative, who responded dismissively with, 'They don't need this.' Additionally, they attempted to shift blame by claiming we had instructed them to kill all the Bermuda grass in our front yard, which was not the case. Unfortunately, the company provided no viable solution to rectify the problem, leaving us with a yellow front lawn and the additional expense of fixing the issue. Considering our experience, it may be wise to explore other lawn care options.
My first year with this company was recommended to use them from a coworker. So far so good I called and asked for lime treatment, and another time to address some weeds. Came out both time and handled the issues. I call leave messages they always call back.
I do not leave reviews often but I feel a responsibility to leave one after the interaction I have had with this company. I have used multiple lawn care companies all over the state for other houses and have never been treated so unprofessional. I used this company for lawn treatment/seeding/etc for one year prior to this spring. We were excited to go with them again and the individual who services our lawn has always been friendly and professional. However, this spring they sent a letter out asking you to notify the office with a date that your sprinklers will be turned on by your landscaping company, IF YOU DO NOT TURN ON YOUR OWN SYSTEM. Since I do turn on my own system, I did not call with a date because I assumed I would just be auto-scheduled. The disagreement in verbiage above is not the problem. The problem is that when I called to find out why they had not been out before this April and to make sure nothing was missing on my end I was told, "if you can't read the letter that was sent I will send it again, highlighted, and circled". The business office is very rude and this is not the first time I have been treated like I am bothering them. I calmly asked if I could speak with the tech who was coming out that day when he arrived because I had some concerns over the weeds that had developed and I was told, "no, they are busy with the lawns they cannot call you" (which they absolutely can and have in the past). I didn't even plan on leaving a review at that point, however, I did cancel their service and am very happy with the new company we went with. Three days later, I received a letter in the mail, with the entire paragraph highlighted and every 3 words circled. This response is childish and wildly unprofessional. There are SO many good landscaping and lawn care companies in south jersey. I am confident there are others that would meet your needs without this level of unprofessionalism and lack of care for how their company is presented.
Ed Hayes is the best. We have been using his service for the past several years and our lawn is as beautiful as any golf course.
