I would stay far away from this company. The owner is very disrespectful , she makes derogatory comments to her employees, and very bad communicator to her customer, and her staff. Even while employees wear company uniforms, she refers to them as hoodlums.

The owner of NortheastHorticultural gave us a reasonable price quote and we agreed to get the works done. On the day we schedule the work, three guys came to the my house . Ramon, Junior, and Nigel did a great job on both cutting and trimming. They did an excellent job on cleaning up, and we appreciate their professional service. Highly recommended!

We are very avid gardeners and take a lot of pride in our property. The guys doing the trimming were so attentive to detail and not only opened up the property but made everything look perfect! We are very pleased with this service.

Used them to cut down a tree. They said if I went with them in March it would be like they were never there aka keep the yard clean. They mentioned they would use protective planks to not let the grass get destroyed. Well they destroyed the lawn, when I asked if they would come back with soil and seed, they said the cost of seed is too high now?!?! I had to go to home depot and spend 200 out of pocket on seed and soil.

I ve been working in landscaping for over 15 years. This is the most organized, knowledgeable, efficient company I ve met in the industry. I highly recommend their services.

After googling tree removal services in Milford, CT, we were surprised and pleased to find Northeast Horticultural Services practically in our back yard. From first contact with Stacy to the day of removal, I found it to be a seamless process. We felt the quote was reasonable and affordable. The day of removal came, the workers showed up on time, set up the equipment, started taking down a huge tree in our yard and before long, it was down, chipped and hauled away. They did an amazing job and we would absolutely recommend their services without hesitation.

Northeast Horticultural Services were a dream team in handling a densely wooded area on our property. From the arborists knowledgable evaluation, to the crews careful and meticulous tree removal, every phase of the project was handled with thorough professional care. We are very pleased with the job, and are extremely grateful.

Hired to landscape and hardscape around a pool and fix the lawn after a pool was put in the backyard. They repeatedly did not show up when they said they would, had poor supervision of work, did not finish on time, grass did not grow, lawn was not prepared, tree that was dying was replaced with a 1/2 dead tree. Wanted to charge me for the labor to replace the tree which was in their warranty that they would replace within the year. At this point even with some of their shrubs not doing well, I would no longer deal with this unprofessional company. It was a very bad choice, the worst company I have dealt with. I would caution anyone against hiring this company

We love Stacey and all the crew at Northeast Horticultural! Allan, Bernardo and Raphael did an amazing job transplanting and removing numerous items on our property prior to construction. They were all super professional, hard working, and went above and beyond to make sure our satisfaction was their top priority.

Stacey and her team were incredible. We had a big tree removal job on large tulips in our front yard, including grinding those stumps, as well as other tree cutting and trimming on the property. I was so impressed with the level of professionalism and precision - the team did a tremendous job, plus they were very careful at taking care of our property and cleaning up in the process. Our front yard looks beautiful - we can t thank this team enough. Any time we need other tree or landscaping work in the future, I ll definitely call up Stacey - she was a joy to work with, and the reasonable pricing is well worth the value and quality end product we received.

Doug and his crew did a great job on spring maintenance for several of our gardens. Easy to schedule with and very attentive to detail. They worked on our ornamental grasses, perennials, added mulch, added rocks, moved a few plants, and pruned several trees/shrubs. Also left our driveway and yard clean after the work was finished. I can t wait to see everything grow in over the next few months!

Highly recommend! Animals were digging up my lawn. at an alarming rate. Called and Doug said damage came from skunks and he was there the very next day applying product to kill the worms& insects the skunks eat. Very knowledgeable. Also use them for pruning trees - one of very few companies that do interior pruning. Stacey the owner is very responsive and knowledgeable also. A few years ago they took care of another lawn problem I had . I had interviewed many companies and they were the only one that knew how to resolve the problem

Doug, Brian, and Rocky removed overgrown plants and relandscaped our front bed with a dwarf cherry bush. They also planted a seven sons flowering tree in a place of prominence in our front lawn. Their responsiveness, professionalism, cleanup, and desire to satisfy went above and beyond our expectations.

Thank you for the beautiful pruning job your team did. The shape of the Cherry trees in the front yard looks great and we cant wait to see them in full bloom - they kinda had a bed head look about them before. Were also pleased with the cleanup of the Dogwood in back and the snipping of the beard along the back fence line. Stacy and her multiple crews helped us immensely with 10 trees removed and 8 stumps ground up. She worked with us to fit our schedule, which was extremely helpful, and the multiple crews she had at our house worked professionally, speedily, and it was all for a very reasonable price. Many of our trees were trimmed and pruned to make them healthier and the advice given to us was spot-on. We had enormous Tulip trees that were endangering our house, and smaller trees that were all taken care of with ease by her crews. We highly recommend Stacy and her teams - they were wonderful to work with and professional the entire time.

Great service. Came within days of giving me a quote. Removed 4 small trees, trimmed back an enormous maple, and ground all the stumps. Their truck accidentally broke the cement cap of a dry well we didnt know we had under our lawn. They sent their masonry to team to fix it.

My mom passed away unexpectedly. A tree that had moved with her for years and was incredibly special to her was at her rental home. Suddenly I had to make a really difficult decision to move it from her rental home in a really short time frame. I called tons of places and Stacey, the owner, was the only one who came out quickly, gave us an accurate assessment and quote, and helped make this move possible. The tree was moved timely and successfully from CT to its hopefully final home in RI. I was so happy with the service provided!

Stacey came out to give me an estimate on Tree work. She is very knowledgeable about her work and horticulture in general. She has a lot of energy and enthusiasm in what she does. She took her time explaining her evaluation of the job and was very informative. I am not going forward with the work but she is definitely well trained and professional in the field.

My husband and I were awoken to an enormous tree falling on the corner of our house at 4am On a recommendation we called way before office hours. As the sun was rising Stacey called offering to help. We called other companies and this is where I am leaving my review . She was amazing & came out to assess the situation and had her crew there what seemed like immediately. The job was done being carful of my neighbors property as it is so close I needed to ask to use their driveway. They cleaned up the fallen tree and other than some saw dust you would have never known they were there. I recommend using this company for all of your tree service needs. The personal touch and professionalism are something missing in business But not this one

Do not use this service. After planting a tree last November, this spring showed the whole middle of the tree to be dead and new growth only on the top. I called Stacy many times before she agreed to send a crew out to trim. The crew never showed up. It took a month before a second date was set up and again no one showed. I wish I had checked BBB first. You can see the truth about this company there.

Stacey and her team were so great I needed some advice with the needs of large, older trees and what type of trimming & pruning was needed overall. I have a heavily wooded property and after they spent a day at my home the view from the street was obvious immediately a nicely trimmed & maintained appearance. And a healthy look overall. Job well done.

I had a bunch of dead tress on the property of my newly purchased home. I first reached out to Northeast Horticultural Services for a quote, and got a great detailed quote, down to each tree. It turned out the best quote out of 3 I solicited, by far. So was happy to hire Staceys team. They did a fantastic job cutting down 7 dead trees, trimming some very large branches and getting rid of small random saplings littering my yard. Looking forward to working with Stacey and her team again on other projects. Highly recommend these guys!

We hired the company to manage our lawn care. When it became clear to us that the treatments were not working we placed multiple calls to Kate to discuss the state of our lawn, she was unable to provide prompt callbacks or attention to our property. We reached out to Stacey directly and twice through Wendi Taylor, in receivables and did not receive a returned call.

Stacey came out and walked my property with me and identified several needed projects in addition to the many projects I already had in mind. The price was reasonable, the team came exactly when promised and worked hard for several days to get the work done. They were very professional and did high quality work and left our property nice and neat. I highly recommend Northeast Horticultural!

Tropical storm Isaiah downed a tree onto my home collapsing the wall and roof. I called five other tree service companies. All of the others said I would be added to the list or didn t get a call back. The receptionist at Northeast Horticultural made special note that there was home damage and had Brandon Archambault, their arborist out the same day (within the hour) and the team was working on the job the next day. The quality, expertise, expedience, cleanliness and genuine care by their team went beyond all expectations. My family feels exceptionally fortunate to have been helped by their team and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you very much!!!

Stacie is very passionate about the business , has a wealth of knowledge on the status of tree health and its hidden danger, yet she is reluctant to recommend just taking them all down. My work began as an estimate for pruning and vine removal... One week prior the scheduled work the recent storm dropped large branch 200 lb from 60 feet up caused significant damage to garage roof and would have been lethal if in the hammock. On arrival I changed the order for complete removal instead of pruning. The up charge was very fair. The crew very professional and clean up was perfect. I highly recommend this company.

As a result of the recent storm that blew thru Westport the tree close to my home which topped 100;feet had to be removed very carefully ..base measured over 5 1/2 feet. Had to bring in a 55 ton crane! Northeast Horticultural was fantastic. The crew was exceptional and was able to finish the job in one day. All wood was carted away and left the property spotless! Was a big job and would highly recommend them as the had been also doing my tree work previously!

Spoke with Stacey from Northeast Horticulture over Labor Day weekend. Said she would call either Monday evening or Tuesday morning to come give me an estimate Tuesday Evening. She never called or came. recommended from Angies List. Buyer beware, thats all. This was one of two recommended tree service from Angies list. certainly wouldnt recommend this one solely on professionalism.

Northeast Horticultural Services are tree professionals. There are countless firms that can drop a tree, but few are as professional, polite, meticulous, and experienced as NEHS. They offer very competitive pricing, but once they are done you will realize that it was more than a fair price. Over the years I have had experience with four different tree removal operators, and am very happy to have found a group that I can trust implicitly. My wife & I extend sincere thanks to Stacey Marcell and her crew.

Ive used Northeast several times. Their estimates have been the lowest, and their workers are careful and clean up after themselves. They come when they promise and do what they said they would do! I plan to use Northeast in the future when I need their services.

Northeast spent three days on our property in Trumbull taking down several very large trees including a gigantic tulip between my neighbors house and our own. I watched most of the work and I cant speak highly enough about the professionalism of this crew. They also cleaned up after themselves and minimized the effects of the heavy equipment in the yard during this wet Spring. Ive had several of the neighbors comment on how good they were as well. Great job to this team; my wife and I could not be happier with the work.

We had a great experience with Northeast Horticultural. They arrived exactly when they said they would, finished a large tree removal and pruning of three trees all in one day and the crew was extremely friendly and hard working. They left the property clean and neatly piled manageable pieces of wood for our personal use. Prices were very fair and all staff, Stacey, crew, and billing admin were very friendly and kind. I called at the last minute to request an important tree examination and soil sample. Kate promptly came out to the property then later provided the test results along with her evaluation. The cost for the service was fair and her evaluation thorough and very helpful. Making this visit on short notice along with a thirty mile distance says a lot about the company. I was impressed.
