Been taking care of our lawn for 8 years. Very attentive to our needs.

Ive been using weedman for about 4 years and Im sad to say that they have done a terrible job taking care of my lawn this year. Basically they have new employees and management so are not providing the same service as in the past. Ive tried everything with this company and all they want to do is keep on trying to up sell me more services that have not worked so far. I do not recommend this company at all. Also Id like to add is that there customer service on the phone is very unprofessional when it comes to trying to address issues. They get mad at you if your not happy.

Johnny (technician) is extremely knowledgeable and attentive to addressing all concerns. Looking forward to working with Weed Man next season for an even healthier lawn!

Saw this companys pickup truck cross a double yellow on a residential street to pass a car going 45 in a 40. Wouldnt want them driving through my neighborhood.

Their organic tick control is effective. Since weve been using it, it has drastically reduced the amount of ticks we encounter, keep in mind that we live in the woods. This is our second year receiving the treatment and I can count on one hand the number of ticks the dogs have brought in on them. If you pay for the package in full you also receive a discount. Great product, price and service. Worth every penny and organic so its not damaging or ruining our property with unsafe chemicals. (2024 update) We are still using this service and my dogs havent brought in any ticks this year in spite of the wet summer. Please dont change the formula. It really does work

Im changing my tune. Im switching my extremely negative review to positive review. My normal yard of weeds looked dead during treatment, but then the grass did kick midsummer. The Weed Man owner was very responsive to my dissatisfaction, and he was proven right. This is the first time Ive had grass in years. Weed Man turns out to be far more effective getting rid of impossibly stubborn weeds then the other Green companies Ive used.

My lawn has never looks better, A++ Service! Remember, depending on how bad your lawn is when it starts it could easily take two seasons to get it back in shape so just stick with the plan it will work.

I just had Josh out at the house this morning to apply the Mosquito and Tick application for the yard. He did an Amazing Job and He let me know that the Product is Organic and it is Safe for Children and Pets. Josh made sure to tell me to wait about an hour before going on the Lawn so the Application could absorb!! A Very Satisfied Customer!!

Horrible service. Really disappointed with the customer service. I wish I never called them. Like some of the reviewers said, don t believe a word they say and I also paid for something I didn t request.

We were very unhappy with their service last year as our weeds persisted even after multiple email/phone discussions expressing our concerns. Now, this season, they left a voicemail stating they were scheduling themselves to come again (left VM on a Friday afternoon saying they were coming on Monday) when we did NOT renew with them. We will never renew with them. A sketchy and not productive service. We do not recommend. Our sister in law had used them as well and also was not happy at all - they will not be using them again either.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Weed Man lawn care. The technicians are always knowledgeable, professional and take time to explain exactly what they are doing and why. I ve used Weedman lawn services for many years always done a professional job I ve never had a problem with their service but I was very disappointed with an expensive service that I did not authorize. I told them I could not afford to have seeding done on my lawn due to another expensive project that was being done on my home. I was very clear about it. They did it anyway and I still had to pay for something I couldn t afford. I spoke to the manager and he did not care all he was concerned about was getting paid. I was a loyal and dedicated customer. The manger didn t try to offer anything not even an apology. Unfortunately I told the manger I know longer wanted their service. If you use WEEDMAN LAWN SERVICE BE VERY CLEAR WITH THEM ON SERVICES YOU DO NOT WANT!!

Ive been using Weed Man for many years and am extremely happy with the service. Owner, Greg, and his crew are very responsive and helpful.

I highly recommend the Weed Man to all of my friends and anyone who cares about their yard and the curb appeal of their homes. My font yard was weed infested, had grub issued and the pH of the soil was off so nothing good was growing and sticking around. Weed Man was able to balance out and remove the issues with 2-3 visits. My lawn has NEVER looked so good. I spent the extra money and had them aerate and over seed the lawn in the early fall and what a world of difference that made through the yard (even having dogs). The amount you spend on a yearly package with Weed Man is what you will spend at Home Depot doing it yourself but now you have your weekends back and its actually done properly and with quality products.

So, Ive been battling with my lawn for 7 years now, because Im a guy and I know about lawns. My neighbor hired the Weed Man 2 years ago and his lawn was looking really good in comparison. I broke down and hired TruGreen because I wasnt hiring some local weed guy. My mistake. After paying for 6 treatments and only getting 2 treatments by the end of August, I fired them, got a refund and hired Weed Man. This was the best move I could have made for my lawn, which I might add looks awesome and close to what my neighbors lawn looks like. I will continue to use Weed Man in 2024, because I know about lawns.

I didnt know what to do with our lawn. A few years ago, we started using Weed Man, and it has made a big difference. We no longer have weeds and crab grass is much less prevalent. The color and thickness of our lawn has greatly improved, and we are very pleased with Weed Mans professionalism and friendly service.

We are pleased with the email communication alerting us to our upcoming and recommended services, as well as the quality of the customer service we receive when speaking with the staff. Weve been using Weed Man for a couple of years now. Whenever we have an issue like finding ticks or an increase in mosquitos after it rains, they are very responsive to come out and respray. The last time I contacted them they came out the next day.

Weed Man did a pretty good job ridding my yard of Weeds. If that was the end of it I would give them 4 stars. However, since I cancelled the services a couple of years ago they continue to call me frequently to try and get me to sign up again. I have requested that they stop calling me, but I still receive multiple calls per week. Update 6/7/22: Since Weed Man replied to this review the calls seem to have stopped. I appreciate that so I am updating the review to 3 stars.

This is my first year using Weed Man. The reason for 2/5 stars is my yard still has many weeds and the the customer service is disappointing. I called recently to discuss the ongoing weed problem as they recommend: Lawn care requires making adjustments. Just know that if and when you need us, we promise a real person to talk to you, and prompt, reliable attention within 48 hours. There is no lawn problem that we can t help you solve. Simply contact us, and we will be there for you. The first person I spoke with was responsive and truly interested in helping to solve the weed problem. Over a month later, however, the weeds persisted so I called back to discuss. The second person I spoke with was rude and unhelpful. He provided a vague reply about moving my next scheduled service sooner but could not provide a timeframe. When asked for his ideas about how the persistent weed issue could be resolved (since the usual treatments dont seem to be working) he became frustrated and would only reiterate that my next service would be moved up to some unknown time. It was a very unpleasant and unhelpful interaction with someone who clearly was not skilled at problem solving nor at dealing with customers. It has been more than 48 hours since that call and I still have no idea when weed man will come address my weeds (their messaging states reliable attention within 48 hours) nor how they might adjust their strategy to address my ongoing weed problem (There is no lawn problem that we can t help you solve). This is an expensive service- my expectation was a weed free lawn and to work with a customer service oriented team interested in delivering on offering great results. Not the reality at this point, though I will update this review if things change. Perhaps the recent unhelpful person I spoke with was an exception.

Westport Weed Man has been very responsive & worked with me seriously on fungus control of my lawn. Especially nice to work with Johnny!

Who doesnt like cutting bushes and mowing the lawn.

After using 2 previous larger lawn care companies and being disappointed, Im so pleased to finally have a lawn care company that communicates and sends the same individual back to properties routinely so they get to know the property and build a relationship with the owners. Still a bit early on in the relationship, but so far VERY happy and MILES above what I have seen from others.

Over the past two years, our lawn has greatly improved thanks to Weed Man Lawn Care - so much so that I felt compelled to write. We previously had a troubled lawn with many weeds (even though we followed a complete lawn regimen). They are experts, and we are very pleased with our new lawn - thanks guys!

There ad was misleading $24.99 for the 1st application however they dont tell you that the 1st application is for lawn seeding not weed killing which was what I wanted. That surprise you get as a two part email explaining your charge. I had opted for a one time visit to see if the application yield any results but after seeing that they just automatically put me in their rotation and was about to show up without me setting an appt ($109 visit) plus that they charged me more then I expected the first time I dont trust them. When I called about the bill it was explained to me that they had to catch my lawn up to what my neighbors already are doing. Well screw that and the neighbors. I say look else where unless your satisfied with the explanation they gave to get more then the original $25.

I have had WEEDMAN for many years . I live in Stratford in the north end area our yards are close together and join with my neighbors whose grass is atrocious ! We started with Weed Man last year, and everything about our experience with them has been wonderful. Besides our lawn looking better than it ever has, their thorough tick treatments have helped minimize ticks and even mosquitoes. They communicate well when they are planning to service our yard, and their customer service is very responsive. All for a very reasonable price. We have been very happy with their services.

This is my first year using Weed Man and chose them because they were fairly priced and my neighbor uses them and their lawn looks great. I had every kind of weed known to man in my yard with little to no actual grass, even though I got a late start with them in June my yard already looks 10 times better. Everyone I have talked to, either on the phone or the techs on-site, have been really nice and knowledgeable.

Weedman was recommended by my landscaper after the other guys were not able to get my weed infested and unhealthy lawn under control. The service and response to my issues has been outstanding backed by a knowledgeable, professional crew. After this first year there is very noticeable improvement. I have very bad experience from weedman. I dont trust a word they say any more.

This is our first full season with them after researching and considering the competitors. They told me that aeration and seeding this fall should be $500-800 though they hesitated to give a figure until they came out. They came out and quoted my .3 acres at $1600. They said my lawn was a mess (it s on their plan!) and they d need truckload of topsoil 3 techs hay and the best seed. I was stunned and angry as Smiths quoted me 300-525 less than 12 months ago. They offered to come down by a tiny amount on price. I honestly thought they were quoting the wrong property. I find it hard to believe there is only one size fits all. Isn t there a more basic seeding/aeration option? After selling so hard on we will make your lawn beautiful don t you want to retain a new customer? Unbelievable. I might add I had to email them after they said they d get back to me with more information about a new proposal.

I found them more on top of things and detail-oriented than the larger company I had worked with previously. I liked that the same technician came to my house each application. I went out a few times to ask questions, and he seemed to know his stuff. During aeration this fall, part of a sprinkler head was damaged and they fixed it which I appreciated. Sadly, many companies would have tried to avoid responsibility. It take a few reminders to get someone out here for it, but still. Overall, a good season with them and I will use them again.

I used Weed Man for over 3 years and simply put my lawn looked WORSE after the 3 years than it did before I hired them. RESPONSE: Just to clarify the timing of my review does NOT reflect the current status of my lawn, but rather is merely a function of the time available to write a review. Second, after I canceled service, I hired another lawn care company in which we addressed the fungus issue and took other measures with respect to my lawn. In the three years of service those other measures were never recommended to me. As a result of addressing the fungus issue (which again was not an issue raised by any of your technicians) and the other measures that we have taken on the basis of the recommendation of the new service provider, my lawn looks healthy than ever.

The service from Weed Man has been excellent and very professional. This is the first year having our lawn treated and will definitely use this company next year. Our lawn was very weeded before using Weed Man. We now have a lawn with mostly grass and very few weeds and in just one season. I did some seeding this year after the initial treatments and together with their process, now have a green filled in lawn. I have seen a real transformation that brings a big smile to my face. I highly recommend their service.
