Who Did it Lawn Service in Breaux Bridge

DO NOT recommend this service! They’ve been cutting my yard for several years. The last month they charged me full price and did not cut my backyard. Calls and texts to Brad went unanswered. Called the message service and left messages that went unanswered. The last time they were here they destroyed my yard and my neighbors yard. They got the lawnmower stuck and then backed their truck and trailer into my yard to get it out. Left ruts in my yard and my neighbors yard that are at least 6 inches deep and they left with my yard half cut. Brad finally answered when I sent pics and said he couldn’t help it bc it’s been raining. No offer to fix the damage or finish cutting my backyard that hadn’t been cut in a month. Cancelled my service immediately. Most unprofessional service I’ve ever dealt with.

Brad talks a good game and sometimes he delivers. But sometimes he leaves you either feeling hustled or totally abandoned. I had his lawn service for a few years. I hung on despite some real clear warning signs because he was usually OK. But when he dropped the ball it came with a ton of attitude. Even bold-faced lies. I had to stroke him before we could move on. Fragile ego or maybe simply dishonest. The worst part was his communication. You can’t reach him directly, only his answering service. Messages get ignored. I’ve tried texts, emails and phone calls. Recently I worked hard to get a quote on garden job. I thought I had the price ballparked but it came in much higher. Since he requires a credit card on file one gets the bad news after the charge has been submitted. The explanation was full of padding. And then after this experience he totally stiffed me on the regular yard work, didn’t come by at all. It was a month, two charges. My grass was way high so I found someone else. I’m disputing both charges with my bank. This is not professional behavior.

I was in a bind and Brad, the owner, went out of his way to ensure I was taken care of. This is and good company, with honest and hard working people. They will take care of you.

It's really not professional to quote someone a price then change the price asking for more money after a couple of meetings. It's not the customer's fault that you underestimated the service. Not happy at all!

Comes on the same day each week , makes sure to leave a checklist each and every time they come to ensure everything is done correctly and that good customer communication is maintained

It's pretty sad when this company refers you to someone because they don't want to do the job. And because he didn't do the job he wanted the customer to pay him and not the person that actually did the work. Know this company who did it lawn service want to cry and take the man to small claims court when he didn't even do the work. I would not refer this company to no one. It's not the first time this happens.

Don't do it!! Cancelled this company's service within 2 weeks. They CUT my confederate jasmine vines on TWO separate visits. BUT the reason I actually cancelled is... the owner blamed me!!! Said it was my fault NOT his because we didn't have "preventative measures" around them!! And he said that he has too many new hires to remind everyone and make sure they do their job right. Wow!! I was shocked. Blaming the customer is never the way to go. Very disappointed
