Unfortunately, I cannot give zero or negative stars. I live in a subdivision in Parkland. Top Cut is contracted by the HOA. I have opted out of lawn services from Top Cut and today was the fifth time I have chased one of their crew out of my yard. I cannot believe how terrible the communication is within this company. I have spoken with my attorney and am looking into options. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT!!! Follow up. After posting this review I called the main office and demanded that someone call me to discuss this issue. Naturally no one called and I'm not at all surprised. Unprofessional and incompetent. Our common areas look terrible as well. Worst company our HOA has hired in the past 10 years.
They are our resident lawn experts and WE LOVE THEM. START TO FINISH. So knowledgeable , kind, hard working and always timely.
Our neighborhood, located in Evergrene, Palm Beach Gardens, recently contracted TopCut for maintenance services starting January 1, 2024. However, two months into their tenure, the state of our community has deteriorated significantly. Leaves are scattered everywhere, obstructing sewers and staining sidewalks. Despite residents' efforts to clean up, TopCut's methods seem ineffective as they blow leaves back into yards. TopCut claims to mulch the leaves on the property, but this does not seem to be the case. The situation has become so dire that residents are considering legal action if improvements are not made promptly. It is essential for our neighborhood to be clean and well-maintained, and as paying clients, we expect better service. We are hopeful that TopCut will address these issues and restore the beauty of our neighborhood. We will provide updates on any improvements, particularly in the Stoney Drive section. It is disappointing to see the decline in the quality of maintenance since TopCut took over the contract, as Evergrene used to be a beautiful place to live.
The absolute WORST landscaping company in south Florida. We are forced to use them from our HOA. Hopefully that changes soon because a lot of residents have complained. They never cut our back yard for some reason, and I have to call weekly for them to come back out and cut it. Yesterday, they came to trim our bushes, and they not only did a horrible job, they missed spots, we have branches hanging off halfway cut, bushes halfway trimmed, and didn’t clean up the scraps after trimming. See the photos for yourself. I’m completely fed up. 1 star is generous. We don’t care if you have the HOA contract, do your job and act like you care even in the slightest about the quality of work you do. Awful.
To be fair they do a good job on landscaping. Some workers give good cleanup grudgingly. Others they seem to deliberately neglect cleanup. That is unprofessional and distasteful. I cannot blame the company, it seems most HOA complaints are about individual;s workers quality of service Some good, some not so much. Need to start taking photos.
I live in an HOA that unfortunately uses this company. Myself along with other owners have been unhappy with this company for a long time but we can’t do anything about it. The property has been going downhill for quite some time. Weeds galore, slowly our bushes and vegetation are dying or being overrun by asparagus fern and other weeds. They blow all the stuff on the ground from one end of the property to the other where they pile it up on the strips of grass in the parking lot. Over time this has ended up killing any grass that was there. I have never seen any worker with a rake which is important to aerate the ground. Any time I have tried to talk to any of the workers there is no communication as they don’t seem to speak one word of English. The owners have taken to buying rakes and other yard equipment in order to do the work themselves. I would NEVER recommend this company to ANYONE!
UPDATE #2: The response from the "Owner" is of his vivid imagination. I was never presented with an estimate to sign. The foliage TOPCUT killed is seasonal and are to be planted in Summer & Fall. If they had done what was right and fixed the problem in August or September of 2020, there would not be an issue. TOPCUT was given an Invoice with the breakdown of the $1,300, include my gate to my backyard that was also bent, and labor to replant everything TOPCUT destroyed. Bottom Line he is angry because our HOA FIRED TOPCUT and hired another Lawn Care & Maintenance Service. UPDATE: Top Cut saw my Review and I received a call & visit that they would "Make It Right" LOL. That was 2 weeks ago. So on Monday I am going to File a lawsuit in Small Claims Court. STAY TUNED FOR UPDATE! I live in an HOA. When TC sprayed for the "weeds" they also KILLED over $1,300 worth of landscaping that I had purchased. This was months ago, I have submitted an invoice through our management company to Top Cut no response. Spoke with Top Cut manager still nothing. Sent the invoice to Top Cut office Still no Response!!!!!! Do Not Use
Top Cut has been taking care of Hammock Reserve for several years and has always done a great job. I would recommend them to anyone. The knew daily on site person ,Nora, is the best we have ever had. The property has never looked better. Joe Scott

Worst landscape SUPERVISOR we ever had in our community with a rude and nasty ATTITUDE to boot. Maybe if top cut REPLACED him they wouldnt have so many complaints!
Ive been living in this community for 21 years, never had trouble with our landscapers, they have a manager by the name of Brian who is the most disrespectful person that seems to go out of his way to create problems, we pay our HOA over 1000 dollars every 3 months, my HOA pays top cut to do the work, this Brian comes to my home to cut the hedges, he was cutting it very low , my daughter asked him to please cut it high enough so we can maintain our privacy he immediately started to tell her that this is the he will do it, she said rightly so that she wants it higher, ho told her to get back in the house, I m her father and I wasnt home, this man needs to be repranded by his employer.at the very least, I spoke to our manager when I got home and told him what my daughter had told me, he told the our office manager a different story, this should not be happening in any community, there was no reason for any of this.

Bryan Wackes has been our Property Manager for 3 years. He is conscientious, knowledgeable and is always respectful (even with upset homeowners). He is very responsive to problems and follows through to make sure things are done. He identifies issues and bring them to our attention before they become bigger problems. Bryan is respectful to his team of workers and looks out for their safety. I have been the chairperson of our HOA Landscape Committee for 5 years and find him to be one of the best to work with. When he doesn t know the answer he reaches out to his team at Top Cut and confers with them to solve issues. No lawn service is perfect or can please everyone but Top Cut does a very good job overall and Bryan is the best property manager I have worked with.
Rudest employees ever. Cut hedges that were on my property and when we called them the womans answer was sue us!! ok we will.
Unfortunately I cant gixe 0 stars. This company has been doing my community for years. The only thing they have to do on my property is take care of my grass and they cant even do that right. From damaging my front driveway to damaging my fence from my grass dying from not being taken care of by Top Cut. my yard is full of mud I cant even go in the backyard.
Hired by our HOA. They do a decent job of the common grounds. They just cut everything down so everything looks neat. But if you are a homeowner and have flowering bushes or fruit trees... they will cut them down too with the weedeater, they will use the blower to blow any much you might have placed in the flower beds, and use the hedge trimmer to cut any blossoms off of flowering bushes... There is a different boss every time they come so you have to hunt him down and tell him just the lawn mower (if you value your plants) He doesnt speak English usually but he agrees, okay. And they proceed to do whatever they want to do on your property. If you call the headquarters they say they put you on a specifications list, but the bosses on the jobs never see any list. It is hell, if you value your plants.
This company does poor quality of work as well as customer service. If you want your yard to be overgrown with weeds and to take no responsibility for their work then this is the company for you.
