Today was the last visit of my first season. We are totally impressed by the incredible transformation in just our first year. Charles is topline amazing to deal with and tells us what to do to keep things looking great and on track. My only warning . If your considering choosing LawnMart you need to be prepared to cut the grass a little more often because once things get rolling in the spring its growing thick, rich and GREEN! Awesome and well done LawnMart, you definitely have a handle on preventing weeds and producing very healthy lawns! See you in the spring.

Lawnmart is one of the best lawn care companies that we dealt with.... our lawn has never looked better and if it doesnt they will go into detail of what the problem is. Highly recommend their service. Nyle was very helpful and gave us good advice.

Customer service is great from communication to lawn service. My lawn took off after I switched to LawnMart! The only problem I had was when I accidentally sent in two one star reviews due to a technical problem. Definitely 5 stars!

Our lawn was getting overgrown with weeds. We changed our lawn service to LawnMart last year, our lawn is better than it has been in years.

My first year experience with Lawnmart has been good.My Lawn has improved substantially. The technician we have is Jesse and I cannot compliment him enough.He always showed up on the days expected answered every question I had enthusiastically .I had a few special requests because of our large gardens and he made sure that he took care when working on days with higher winds.Very pleased with his pride in his work and will be requesting his services next year.Thank you Jesse!

We used Lawnmart a few years back and then decided we could probably do it on our own. Big mistake, our lawn looked terrible, we were inundated with bugs, bare patches, the works. I have been using this service for many years now and I get a lot of compliments on my lawn from neighbours walking by. It took about 1½ seasons before I saw results because I had really let it go for years. I was unable to overcome the weeds drifting in from surrounding properties and even a nearby park that literally turns yellow in dandelion season. These guys found a way to eliminate 90% of the weeds consistently since then. They also call the day before to confirm when they will be coming

I have been using lawn mart for the past several years and overall its been decent. My lawn has improved from what it was....We followed the directions they suggested like watering 4 hours at a time and raising the mower blade. I noticed our front lawn had really dry patches and it doesnt look well....I requested for someone to come check out the situation....I have done this in the past and they have always been amazing...this young punk comes over and says ...oh I know whats wrong...its drought...so I say well how often do I need to water it then? I told him that we watered it last on Saturday (today is Wednesday) for 5 hours...he laughed...had a cocky face on and said ya ok...youre trying to tell me that this was watered for 5 hours ....I asked him if hes calling me a liar and then told him to get off my property....I cant even explain in writing how rude he was....I dont pay this company money to take care of my grass to ask for help and be treated so poorly....obviously if I wasnt watering properly I wouldnt ask them to come try to figure out what was wrong....needless to say I cancelled my services right away.... Edit: Im shocked that Nyle you are the owner of the company and you spoke to me the way you did....I do water our lawn religiously and if I wasnt why would I call to ask for someone to come look at it?? I would know its because Im not watering as you are saying is happening...my backyard grass looks great so maybe i just take the time to water that?? ..I had issues previously and your company applied some nutrient type spray because I was told the soil over time goes dead....you were completely unprofessional ..and I stick with acting like a punk....you were very rude and again floored that you are an owner....

Apparently we have snow mold in our backyard and it is July From what I know snow mold appears in early spring. Nothing was done back in April when we could have rectified it. Maybe this could be a new strain? I doubt it. I have been a longtime customer but they use the same advice for different situations. We were told the front was burned so they seeded. The back was left until today when lo and behold we have snow mold. We do not expect a perfect lawn by any means just honesty and customer satisfaction.

Hands down the best lawn care company anywhere in the GTA, we refuse to use anyone else. Owner and staff are very knowledgeable and polite. All you have to do is take their advice instead of pretending to know more than them and you will have golf course quality grass in no time! I m guessing the women writing the bad reviews here fell under this category. We ve had zero complaints in over 5 years of working with Nyle and his crew!

My husband & I hired Lawn Mart this spring because a friend at work showed me pictures of his lawn and it was beautiful. We have been fighting weeds and crab grass for years. It seemed like we would never win. After just two visits our lawn is much better. No crab grass in sight and the clover is slowly disappearing. Also areas where we couldn t grow grass are better. No more back breaking weeding. Thanks guys. Very happy.

Words can t begin to express our appreciation for Lawn Mart this season when it comes to Mosquito Control! At the beginning of the season, we couldn t sit outside in our backyard and enjoy watching our kids play around because we d be eaten alive by the mosquitoes in our backyard. I m heavily prone to bites and huge flare up s and it was becoming a nuisance that we couldn t be outside at night. A colleague highly suggested Lawn Mart as they use them every season for mosquito control I was skeptical to begin with. After 3 doses, it has been a game changer for us! They come, spray the whole property, take time to go even into places I wouldn t think to treat to ensure the larvae don t become an issue and if at any point we feel like we might need extra treatment they have been so professional and ready to come and re-treat if it s needed. I ve been able to enjoy our backyard with a peace of mind and ease for the first time in 3 years since having our home! THANK YOU SO MUCH LAWN MART!

This is the second summer were using LawnMart. Big difference in the health of our lawn since we started with them! Would definitely recommend. Just wish they offered slightly better pricing for loyal/repeat customers - a 5% discount for prepaid services is rather negligible. However, I will add that our Technician, Charles, is professional, efficient and super courteous!

I have been with Lawn Mart for many years now dating back to my old house and they do a great job. I when moved to my new place the grass was in a dire state to the least, and Lawnmart sent Charles and by the end of the first summer the Lawn was in good shape and the neighbors were complimenting us on the great shape it was in just one season. Charles comes every year and does a great job. The office staff are professional and courteous and they address our concerns promptly. I have recommended them to many and will continue to do so.

They are efficient and their treatments are effective. The price is reasonable and only increased nominally over the past few years. They will also give a courtesy call the day before a treatment.

I can t say enough positive things about my experience thus far. My grass was worse than a hot mess. Weeds, thick clay and so sparse. After just 1 treatment so far, I have the best grass on my street. Weeds are gone and it s already so thick. The customer service has also been amazing. Such positive, happy people I ve spoken to. I look forward to working with you all for a long time. I have recommended you to everyone.

We moved to LawnMart 3 summers ago because we were so fed up with the poor services of a competitor. My parents recommended LawnMart. Now, after a couple of years of recovery, our lawn is thick, green, and weed-free! Neighbours have complimented us and the family has complained that they have to mow more because the lawn grows so well. That same competitor stopped by last week to offer mosquito services and said they wouldnt try to sell me lawn care since my lawn looked so good! Thanks to the LawnMart team!

Very disappointed with Lawn Mart. I have used their service for the last 2 years. I did not renovate their service for this season. They showed up today at my house, entered my property (even when in the last 2 years they have in my file they have to call me 24h before going to my house, for authorization and they have respected that during the last 2 years) and left the invoice for me to pay. I have called the office and spoke with the manager where I explained this season I am renovating my backyard and I wont need their service but I was planning to use them next year again. I was informed by the manager that I should have called to cancel their service (service that I have not signed up for this year). In summary I am a costumer that always paid their service in full at the beginning of the season and I have recommended their service to other neighbours and friends.... Because of this really bad costumer service and an invoice of $60 Lawn Mart just lost a loyal customer.

Lawn Mart provided me with excellent customer service, and provided amazing results. I recommend them to all my family and friends. If I were able to give more than 5/5 stars I would! They work very efficient and expeditious!

My lawn is now completely devoid of weeds (Ive had to manually pick weeds using the other service in the past), and its thicker than ever. A special shout-out to Carly who has personally nursed my lawn back to health and been a pleasure to work with. On my 2nd or 3rd treatment and I am amazed at the results. My lawn had a lot of patches and weeds and I felt like giving up on maintaining it but after the 2nd treatment I saw the weeds got destroyed and healthy grass appearing. My wife was also very impressed and I highly recommend the treatment that Lawnmart provides. Adrian has been applying the treatment at our house and he has been amazing to work with. He treats the work like his own lawn and gets the job done professionally. I will be recommending this service to neighbours and family. Also make sure to follow the instructions as they help the treatment work better. They are simple to follow like water once a week for 4 hours.

Genuinely very disappointed with the service provided over the season for the cost of what they charge. I stated that I would like to be phoned prior to services being completed (which is an option they offer) and was basically called a liar over the phone when I brought up how this was not completed. Services were completed on days in which it rained heavily, completely making the service appointment useless YET I was still charged for each service. Once, they did come out and do a respray yet again on a day in which it rained... Needed to call because two of the first visits my entire property was not sprayed... because they apparently need to be told what grass is. Another service they offer and dont follow through on is grass seeding. This was one of the selling features to me as I have... yes still HAVE patches of no grass in my lawn and was promised that someone would come and take care of that. This was not completed. I ended up discounting service before the end of the season as I was seriously not impressed. I called and spoke with the owner of the company regarding some of the issues Ive had over the season, he agreed that this would definitely leave a bad taste regarding the service but still continued to blame me as if this was my fault. This company genuinely seems as if its run out of a garage by children. I can not in good conscious recommend this company to anyone. Hopefully they can take this criticism and improve on some of the areas they fell flat on. Also yes... I still have weeds on my property. Response to Owner - I hope that you learn that charging customers for services you don t provide isn t probably the best idea. Also your snarky attitude isn t cute best of luck though!

We had been using LawnMart for over 10 years on our 2 acres. We just moved to a much smaller property and hired them again. That s because we see an amazing result with dandelions they have been pretty much non-existent on our lawn since we started using LawnMart. LawnMart also takes care of fertilizing and spraying against other weeds. Our lawn always looks amazing. This year, we also hired LawnMart to spray against mosquitoes. LawnMart customer service is straightforward and easy to deal with. I highly recommend them.

Great customer service, 3 seasons with Lawn Mart. Always respond to any problem areas quickly and effectively. Marianne and Taylor in the office are very courteous, and give us advance notice of our next visit which we appreciate. Technician Everett regularly maintains our lawn and is always very friendly and professional.

Save yourself some money and headaches. Absolutely worst lawn service. An entire year of service with the same issues. No call prior, no lawn sign, backyard gates left open and worst of all they continue to apply during heavy rain which results in pointless lawn service. On top the employees don t care as I mentioned the experience on multiple calls. Further when talking to the apparent owner they have no regard of what the employees actually do and all they care about is getting paid. Save yourself the time and headaches go somewhere else there are a lot of other lawn service providers the will actually do what they say.

I hired lawn mart to restore my partially dead lawn. at the time I was promised a full green lawn before the season is over, however that did not happened. after couple of month summer was over and the lawn was still bald and partially dead as it was in the beginning. therefore I stopped making payments that was agreed on to get their attention but when I brought up the issue when they contacted me for the balance on the account. they simply ignored the fact that they did not hold their end of the bargain and told me that I had to make the payments as agreed. I was told to make the payment in full immediately otherwise they will be sending me to a collection agency. very disappointed by the service I received and the way I was treated as a client. already hired the weed man company to take over and take care of my lawn and wont recommend lawn mart to anyone for their lawn services.

Absolutely the worst svc ever. They came out measured my lawn quote me and I agree to the terms. They then in turn do only half my lawn and bill me for the whole lawn. I live in a town house so the lawn is very tiny. Last year my total cost of svc was $360. Im retired so I saw them perform the svc each time they came out. Came upon renewal this year I said ok as long as you do the complete lawn as quoted last year the reply was no we cant do that. ????. So I in turn cancelled the service. They were also extremely rude.

When your whole neighborhood is taken care of by the same company, you dont have to ask twice. Glad I was informed about Lawn mart Inc. Detailed instructions verbally & written on first visit of grass examination. Polite honest service & trustworthy. Theyre already taking good care and its only been the first treatment for my grass! Give them a call now, have your grass taken care by true professionals. Oh yes the treatment is safe for your pets & yourself.

The service has been fantastic.

We have been using Lawnmart for well over 5 yrs. Always been happy with service. But when i requested that only my front lawn to be treated for 1 month due to purchase of puppy and her use of our backyard and not wanting to ingest any chemicals . The office told us no problem and said they would only treat front lawn which by the way is approximately 1/3 the size of back yard. To our surprise we were charged the full amount of $ 67,46. When i contacted Lawnmart office and asked why we were charged full amount and not even half the full amount , considering only 1/3 of my yard was treated , I was told that I was being charged full amount because of increase in fuel costs !!! I know for a fact we are not the only customer in this area. Lawnmart did not make a special trip to my property for treatment. I guess Lawnmart is more interested in finding new customers instead of trying to retain long time customers. And by the way the cost of treatment had already increased in cost for this year.

Great service and friendly staff. Product does work because my grass is starting to look good.

Contracted for the first time in 2022. First visit went fine. Second visit they sprayed my neighbours lawns in error because my front is a garden. The came back late and the weed control did not take. I called yesterday to book the to respray next week. Our agreement from the very beginning is that they would call the night prior. This morning we cut the lawn and over seeded and began to water given we were not expecting them to arrive today. When I complained they cancelled my service because they felt I was disrespectful complaining about their comedy of errors. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last year was an exceptional year for drought and weeds but LawnMart came back more than the scheduled visits to re-treat the weeds. We have had friends comment on our lawn and say how beautiful it is. We started with weeds and now have, what I like to call Carpet! Give them a try, you will NOT regret it.

We hired LawnMart to do weed control two years ago, and the turnaround weve seen in our lawn is nothing short of amazing. Weve gone from flowering vines, dandelions, and thin grass to thick, lush grass (and its only APRIL; imagine how beautiful it will be come June!). I have used LawnMart for more than 6 years. I have used others over the years. LawnMart is the best bar none. They are very responsive with any service calls. We recently decided to put interlocking bricks in the front and back yards. The service technician was surprised when he showed up and said he would cancel the rest of the service and issue a refund since we had prepaid for the year. I got my cheque promptly. I signed for Lawnmart services last year through a friend, I also went ahead and recommended their services to a friend because of the lovely attitude of the lady who signed me u and told me they guarantee the satisfaction of the customers. I have had lawn services for over 5 years and last year was the first time I decided to give Lawnmart a try and I can tell you the nice experience ended from the moment I agreed to sign up . I had the worst looking lawn over the past year and I had to reach out to the manager quite a few times over the season every time they justified the reasons why it looked the way it did. I had a sprinkler system installed and followed their instructions to the t. yet if you look at my lawn now, it looks worse than ever before. i have had to invest in soil and sod just to make up for it. What disappointed me more than their lawncare service was their customer service. My emailed quite often went unanswered and I had to follow up a few times on issues. Still, I had told them if they can fix the issue I am willing to give them another year. I emailed Ian in April and he told me they were not working because of Covid and that he would let me know when things start again, so I asked him to call me before he comes. Ian was supposed to call me and come and take a look at my lawn to discuss but they lied to me again by saying he already came in late April ( when in fact the order for lawn companies to start started in May) so none of what I was told makes sense. Furthermore, I am working from home due to the pandemic, I work out of my dining room/kitchen which faces the backyard....There is no way I would have missed this visit ( even if it was true) unless they came after dark. When I inquired about this especially when I had asked for a call before they come, they insisted that they have already done the inspection and left me a note. Which , again, was not true. I wrote the manager again and expressed my disappointment and told them I am willing to refrain from leaving a bad review if they tried to fix it. But the email went unanswered again..surprise surprise! This company does not respect the need of their customers ....the person I referred them to was also unhappy ..quite honestly , it is a bad rep for the company because I will be posting pictures of my lawn and explaining that this is the kind of service I received. I usually refrain from leaving bad reviews but the way I have been treated as a customer has just been unacceptable. I have given them quite a few chances to make up for this but they dont seem to be willing to. I have attached a picture of my backyard.....all the yellow areas should be green ( last year they were).

I own my own property management company and use Lawn Mart for places I take care of. Great service all the way through the company. From the workers to the owner. They are all awesome to deal with. Always have great results at my clients properties when it comes to helping the lawns looks golf course ready.

It s not every day that I will make time to write a review about a company. But after going through an exhausting search to find a lawn care company that truly met with my expectations and all the headaches, I was just compelled to share. LawnMart has exceeded my expectations! Mike and his team have taught me that not every lawn is created equal. It s a living thing and like all living things it will have good years and years with a bit more of a struggle, be it draught or an unfortunate mold. What I learned was that there are different shades of green throughout the year and that I m part of the solution. It s an informal partnership, alliance if you will between LawnMart, my lawn, and me...I had to trust Mike and his team, listen and follow their instructions and share any concerns I had through the various transitions of my lawn ­ the different shades of green. To date, any concerns that I have raised have been dealt with and serviced accordingly. The proof is in the accolades I receive from people passing by or visitors to our home wondering how I got my golf course like lawn. Many thanks, Mike and team, I have one less headache to manage.

Used Lawnmart for the first time this year. They were recommended to me by my neighbor. My lawn has never looked better! They provided all the services that they promised. They provided services 5 times this season (signed up late so missed the first step). They even provided an extra day of weed control at no extra cost to me since I had a major weed problem in my backyard. Most of my weeds are gone and my grass looks green again! :-) All of their employees have been professional and courteous whether over the phone or in person. They make paying their bill a breeze with accepting online banking payments. Very happy to continue using their services next year!

Ive been a LawnMart customer for almost 5 years. My lawn looks great and definitely much better than it used to when I used to take care of it on my own. Theyre lovely people who take pride in what they do and have always been more than patient with me when Ive called and asked questions. I would definitely recommend!

Lawn Mart has always been easy to get a hold of and someone follows up when you have a request. We have had their services for close to 10 years.

I hired LawnMart in July 2020 for 2 final applications (weed and fertilizer) as I was having clovers issue on my lawn. Other than that, my grass was very healthy. A lot of things went wrong, starting with the technician. The first weed / fertilization control application was done on July 30. I was told to wait 4 weeks for the results, and call for re-apply, free of charge, and then in September, they would do the final application. The first couple weeks, I saw some improvement, but afterwards, the clovers were worse than before. They say, and I quote We make grass green and get rid of weeds and bugs! . Upon contacting Ian numerous times, and finally a phone conversation on Aug. 18, I was told that they won t re-apply because only one application was done. I was very confused with this answer, even his emails were not clear. I wanted to speak to the owner, but this never occurred, and he was never available. Very bad in customer service. So I told him to cancel the program. I was left with an invoice of $63.00 and my clovers worse than before. I had to hire another company that took care of things fully, and returned to re-spray, without me even calling them. I m not sure what LawnMart preach, in my view, nothing is clear, so be aware, and get things in writing. There are many other companies out there that do a better job and even cheaper so customer be aware !!

Ive been a customer for 2 or 3 years now with 1.5 acres of lawn and this spring I cancelled my contract. Last year near the beginning of the year, they unexpectedly stopped treating about 15% of my lawn. When I called the office to ask why, I got to speak to the owner who advised me that his man in the field wrote Cheap on his report. This apparently was his way of telling the boss that there wasnt enough profit in the job and thats why they stopped treating a part of the back lawn, presumably to make the job more profitable. I met with the manager and we negotiated a higher monthly price and from then on they treated the entire lawn but it left me with a bad taste in my mouth. It felt like a union negotiation and that I was strong-armed into paying more. I was very displeased with their chosen method of problem resolution. But wait, theres more... Secondly, in my 26 years living here, I have never had a problem with lawn rust fungus. After Lawnmart began caring for my lawn the fungus has become a persistent problem. When I cut the lawn my mower was covered with orange spores. Parts of the lawn were outright dying. Cause and effect. They tell me that I need to rake up the lawn clippings which is just not practical with a lawn of that size. Thirdly, they didnt treat my lawn for about 3 months last fall and then came in and fertilized and aerated both on the same call... in mid-December. This is not the recommended time of year for aeration and we had some severe frost before there was any snow on the ground. This spring there is quite a lot of winter kill and I have to re-seed (25kg) and spread topsoil (4yds) over about 20% of the lawn and Im not done yet. I do not recommend Lawnmart in Bolton.

Used lawn mart for years on my 3/4 acre property and my lawn was the envy of the entire neighborhood. Just moved to a 2 acre property and started using their services - been less than a month and the lawn already looks 10 times better. Would recommend LawnMart 100% for anyone looking for the best lawn on the street.

Great service and customer service!

Weeds, who? LawnMart WORKS. We were hesitant to make the investment at first but the Lawnmart team did tell me might seem pricier on paper compared to other companies but we really do it all with no additional charges so we gave it a go and our once - fully owned by weeds- backyard is now owned by actual grass and it was achieved within the first summer of their services. Their performance is also topped with the kind and helpful team that answers your questions, returns phone calls and talks to you as if you have known them for years. Definitely happy to spread the good word!

Decent service but overall the consumer has many options he or she can consider for the same service & price.

Lawn Mart service was exceptional! The Lawn Mart servicemen were courteous and experienced. Before they started they explained what service was going to be applied and if there were any current problems. Our lawn has improved tremendously since Lawn Mart has been our lawn care service. I highly recommend Lawn Mart!

Good job on my lawn

For a number of years, I found it difficult to find a good lawn service company. All of them simply seemed to be focused on up selling but offering poor customer service. Technician staff typically rushed in and out in the blink of an eye. LawnMart has been a breath of fresh air, offering personalized service, answering your questions and most important of all, given me the greenest most weed free lawn in years.

Last year was the first time we used Lawn Mart and even though it was a hot dry year I was very much impressed with there lawn care. The thing that I liked was after 2 weeks there was not one weed on my lawn. Thank you Lawn Mart

We use this service at my house and my dads house. we are both super happy with the results and saved us time over the summer. my job at the lawn is to water and cut grass, while the rest is left to Lawnmart to make my grass look closer to a nice green carpet. I recommended the service to others and they signed up as well. I hope they keep this standard and prices reasonable

We have used Lawn Mart for many years and have found them to be not only timely and thorough but very accommodating in their service. They are willing to go the extra mile in order to satisfy their customers. When you have lawn problems, they are willing to explain the problem but give a solution that is effective as far as the laws allow. We are satisfied and will be using them for years to come. We moved to Newmarket 8 yrs ago - we tried to monitor, water and groom our lawn for the first 3 years, but we just werent able to do what was needed to get it going. It was green in some spots but they were patchy and it had crab grass growing throughout. My neighbours lawn looked lush and green, so I asked her how she did it and she said she had a company taking care of it for her. So we got the name LawnMart and called them. We have been with them for 5 yrs now. We just need to water the lawn in the evening once or twice a week if its dry. The crab grass is all gone and we feel good about our lawn when we drive up to the house. Last year 2016 was a hot dry summer and as we drove around our neighbourhood we saw the terrible toll it took on other peoples lawns, but ours was pretty good considering the conditions. The company is very organized - they get in touch with us every year pre season & we even get a discount for early sign up. I highly recommend LAWNMART INC. D Robinson, Newmarket Ont.

After years of using this company, they have dropped the ball. Last year they did a bad job and promised that this year they would do much better. They said it was their technician and said he was no longer with the company. I decided to pay the full year in advance this year. They only came 2 times so far and it is now August 18th. They did a worse job than last year. When I asked for my money back they only gave me the money back that was not used up yet. I am out of pocket several hundred dollars and have a crappy lawn. Do not use them.
