I was having a bad Millipede issue in my yard, and they kept finding their way into my house. I talked to Pat on the phone and he sent out one of his very knowledgeable technicians, Randy. Randy located the source of the problem very quickly. He sprayed down the problem areas, and I haven’t seen any millipedes since. Very prompt and affordable service
Floridas Best is hands down the best company I have dealt with. The Customer Service from Patrick Quinn and Matthew Rosen and the others has been extremely professional and very informative. I have recommended them to many colleagues and friends.
If I could give 0 stars I would!!! People you need to read their reviews for the last 6 months- there isn’t a one review that is over 1 star! They are the worst customer service company I have ever dealt with. The owner says he had a truck out to my place 3 times last month and yet not a single thing appears to be done. My grass is all dead in front and Juan tried telling me the sprinkler wasn’t hitting the grass - not the case, but even if he was right, it has rained more the last two months than the last 6! It’s not a water issue- it’s weeds!!! My bougainvillea is eaten alive and they’ve been here 3 times? What are they using to spray…water? They have no customer service in their blood at all - they act like you are not a customer and they’re doing you a favor. Yet their prices are very high and you get NO customer service. I sincerely do NOT recommend this company at all unless you want to lose your lawn.
This company has the worst service. Extremely unreliable and very poor communication. The Sales Rep, Juan, promises anything you want, but he doesn't communicate this to the main office. You can't talk with anyone from the main office, the machine directs you to email them. I contracted for weeding and trimming only, I never got info as to when anyone was going to show up, but suddenly someone came and mowed my lawn. My HOA mows my lawn that I pay for and I didn't contract for this. I called Juan and he started arguing with me saying that wasn't true. He then said he'd call the office. Took a day to get back with me and he apologized. Took 2 more weeks for a crew to come out to do the other maintenance work and didn't know to do the weeds in my back patio which was contracted. Juan assured me all was good ongoing. Invoicing was wrong and had to get this corrected. Contracted for 1x/month. Juan said they'd show 3rd week every month, which is when they came in August and I would be alerted the day prior to them coming. September came and went, no service, no communication. I called Juan and he mumbled something and hung up. I waited a day to Sept 30. No communication. I cancelled.
This company has provided multiple services for me. Some major landscape projects which came out good and other monthly maintenance on a couple of my properties. On one of my properties I've brought up multiple times that the lawn was getting tall in between cuts. And they insured me they were cutting it twice a month and suggested to cut it 3 times a month. I didn't understand how it could be getting so long in between cuts. I took their word for it because they were cutting another one of my properties with no issues. After the last couple times it just didn't make sense to me anymore. So i personally drove by this property every single day before bringing it up again and they hadn't cut it once. When I brought this up to Matt, failed to find any resolution and just wanted to get frustrated with me like im looking for some gotcha moment. All I was looking for was to get my grass cut regularly. Other owner Patrick tells me that they cut on the 16th ( two weeks after my last complaint) which isn't true. I explained that i drove by every single day and he just said ''well we have gps'' obviously something isn't adding up. Either someone is lying or there's some miscommunication with your employees. I'll chalk it up to miscommunication. Either way the way this was handled towards the end I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone using them. I've spent over 10k in lawn projects with them so I can only imagine how they handle other clients.
I have used this company for almost two years. Today they came to spray the lawn and all the shrubs and they used a spray can instead of the hose from the truck. I asked why, and the man told me because of all my landscaping. I told him this landscaping has been here all along, why now. He would not use the hose from the truck. So I called the office and spoke with Pat and he told me he would have to talk to his partner. I said to Pat that please have the man come back and spray the same way that you have always done for the past couple of years and if he does not come back then please cancel my service and do not charge me for today service. I told him that it was not what I contracted for and always had. Well, he called me back and said the man is not coming back to my home so I told him that I will no longer need his service. To me that is poor customer service. They all start off great in the beginning and then they fizzle out. I have never in my life come across companies like I have here in Florida that could care less for your business. From me all my neighbors use this company and I will tell them my experience. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE…….
If I could rate them a 0, I would. We hired florida “best” lawn and pest to take care of our small backyard. The first few times they came, they didn’t do much and there were still weeds and leaves all over. We gave them one more chance once we gave them feedback and oh boy do I regret that. They sprayed my butterfly garden with weed killer. I am attaching the before and after photos of my beautiful vine, yellow flowers to my butterfly garden. I have lived here for years and never had issues with this fenced vine. We wrote to them to come back and at least clean up the mess or replant and they instead, charged us for half of the service. Very disappointed and would not recommend.
Whatever you do, DO NOT use this company! I hired them to maintain my Airbnb in south Florida for pest and lawn maintenance and they completely DESTROYED my lawn. i spent a ton of money on landscaping when I purchased the house, getting all new sod and it all needs to be replaced. Check the before and after. My lawn started lush and green and is completely dead

Their sprinkler crew came out & did a great job bringing our broken, leaky 1988 system into the modern times. We talked about the plans I have for future landscaping & hardscaping so they set up the sprinklers to cover only where we needed watering including cutting out the entire zone where we have astroturf. We are very satisfied with the crew, the job performed & the price quoted. Definitely recommend.
My grass struggled with weeds for a long time. I tried to fix myself multiple times but could not get rid of the weeds. Called Floridas Best and the weeds were completely gone in 2 weeks. The yard looks great now, thanks guys!

Been working with this company for several months. Do not use this company. Has a we can do it attitude with no results. Had a weed problem and spoke directly with the owner, Patrick. He assured us he can kill the weeds with his treatments. His tech sprayed and sprayed and the weeds kept growing. It was almost like weed fertilizer. We eventually pulled the all weeds and his tech continued to spray. The weeds came back and took over the lawn. We spoke and texted directly with the owner Patrick and he explained it takes time for the weeds to turn brown. We patiently waited and waited and the weeds continued to grow without any effect from their spraying. They have no idea what they are doing. We invited the owner Patrick to do a walk through, but he clearly told us he does not have time to come to the job. We then parted ways do not use this company.

My condo decided not to use our management company s landscapers for an uplift and revitalization of our landscaping. Boy, did we make a great decision to hire Florida s Best because they were exceptional. They removed old lawn and replaced with new sod; planted 75 new bushes; relocated older bushes to fill in areas; trimmed existing larges bushes, small trees and existing bushes. They left our condo cleared of any debris and dirt. Needless to say, they worked nonstop as if the heat wasn t oppressive. This company is my idea of total professionalism.
Love Floridas Best Lawn and Pest!! They are reasonably priced and provide wonderful lawn and pest services. They are kind and answer any questions I have. They are also very thoughtful in trimming things and ask you if there is anything else you need at the time of service. We really appreciate everything they do for our home.
They were responsive to come out right away and fixed my chinch bug issue, but neglected the fungus that was taking over my lawn. We had a 3 month agreement via text which was reiterated by the owner. I even stated after 3 months I may be able to do every 60 days and Patrick said we would discuss. However, he then came a fourth month, without notifying me and sent me a bill for the service, then sent me to collections. This service is double what I pay my current company who does much more and I never have any issues. I did not want the 4th month, as he didnt do anything about the fungus that was taking over my lawn.

My daughter needed her yard renovated after recently purchasing their home. We contacted several companies in the hopes of getting the work done quickly. Some never returned our calls and some were too busy to do the work within our timeline. I finally contacted Patrick from Florida s Best Lawn & Pest. He said he was available to do the work by the end of the week. I had a contract from him within the hour and he had a guy out by the afternoon to spray the old grass. As promised his crew (Zach, Oscar, Elmer, & Matt) arrived early Friday morning and got the yard prepared for the sod. The sod arrived shortly thereafter and the yard was completed by early afternoon. It looked great. I d definitely use them again.
Needed a top-up on mulch around the house. These guys responded immediately and handled the request very professionally. Will 100% call these again when future projects come up.
I paid $125 for month of lawn care, two mowing, while I was on a month long vacation. I came home to a lawn mowed once and 1/4 not mowed at all. I think the service STINKS.

These people did a service and wanted collection of 65 dollars before they came again. I told the serviceman I was busy, and I would handle it later. He became Irate and threatened me with I know where you live and ill do what I have to do. Obviously, since he did know where I lived, I called and took care of the amount due and asked them to never come back. If I werent already busy, I would have called the cops to tell them of the threat. Instead, Ill just let you know to be careful with these characters. The address is 1301 SW 2nd ST and they know it well. Feel free to audit the review, the name or anything you like. These people are maniacs.
They didnt do the work I paid for and screwed up my garden by weed eating the weeds and not spraying, also shaved my lawn with low air in tire and Grooved out patches and left me hanging for 3 weeks without coming back. They finally sent me a email stating that they no longer do yards only spray for bugs, sorry for not getting back to you! That was 4 weeks later. 200.00 dollars and you are lucky this time, next time someone will take responsibility and end your crappie scam!

When I called I explained that my chief complaint were sugar ants in my house. After three months of treating the outside and putting ant bates around the house, the ants never went away. I called Patrick and alerted him about this ongoing infestation. He then told me his company doesnt have a license to work indoors. I was taken aback as I was clear from the beginning abut my problem. Afterwards I requested a refund for the wasted three months his company came out to my house. He then dismissed and ignored my email. Buyer beware.
