The job boss never showed up. I asked 3 times for them to make sure the sod I was having done was the correct grass, it ended up not being right. The sod they laid is now 80% dead and I am going to have to redo it myself.

They did an excellent job! They were responsive, attentive to my goal / vision, on time (which is a huge for me), completed the job when they said they would and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend.

Ben and his crew at Low Country Greenscapes were amazing! They came in and regraded our yard since the builder refused. He planted all new sod, plants and came up with the perfect drainage solution. Ben and his crew did a marvelous job. For years we where plagued with a poor draining driveway. After a rain the water was up to our ankles. We did instal a drainage system years ago, it was, obviously not done correctly. Ben surveyed the situation and created a plan of success quickly. He and his crew did the work quickly, on budget and with the care of our plants and home their primary concern. The next day after the system was finished we received over eight inches of rain and... a well draining driveway. Ben comes highly recommended and in this day and age of mediocre project work Lowcountry Greenscapes are a breath of fresh air. Use this group with confidence!

At first we didn t know anything about Lowcountry Greenscapes, but when we asked people(Includes strangers) on social media that we were looking for the company/person who does retaining wall and some upgrade in our backyard , more than 5 ppl recommended us to call to LG. so we did. And here we are, one happy customer by their work! Ben and his crew are very hard workers and we can tell they respect not only our property but my neighbors too. Also very responsible, punctual and this is the biggest thing Just let them handle it. They know what they are doing and you won t be disappointed. Lowcountry Greenscapes just completed installation of approximately 4,000 SF of sod in our backyard. The entire experience with them was first rate and professional from the estimate to the finished product. Their employees were responsive and courteous. The work was top notch and communications were timely and effective. Even with Mother Nature not cooperating, the job was done in excellent time and the care taken to ensure a great install was excellent. Ben, along with Daniel and Alex did an outstanding job. Usually, we find we have to watch contractors like a hawk and supervise their work. Not so with Ben s crew. Ask once, and it gets done. They arrived promptly each day, ( which is very unusual here), and they cleaned up at the end of each day. Sense of urgency, and knowledgeable people who are eager to meet their customer s needs. I could not recommend them more highly. Our yard looks GREAT!

Ben and his team installed French drains for us. He was very knowledgeable about materials and the price was fair. Lowcountry Greenscapes provided us an absolutely beautiful area to enjoy the outdoor space previously covered in pine straw. They came in and transformed about 2,000 SF into a great area with a paver patio, fire pit, shrubbery, sod, and irrigation. Ben was there working with Dan and Lorenzo to ensure every detail was correct; and the team paid attention to every detail of the job - demonstrating their pride in their work. We appreciate the new area they completed (yesterday) and enjoyed our morning coffee out there today. It looks great! I recently had a major landscaping job performed by Ben Smith of Lowcountry Greenscapes. He prepared an excellent design for planting areas and was accommodating for any changes I wanted to make. I found his pricing reasonable and well within my budget. He reshaped all planting areas, installed metal edging to maintain that shape, re-routed all irrigation lines, and trimmed shrubs so they look natural. We recently moved to Bluffton and needed to find a landscaping company. After searching the Internet I contacted Lowcountry Greenscapes because of all of the great reviews I saw posted. After working with Ben Smith and his crew, Dan and Lorenzo, I now understand why the reviews were so great. Ben responded to my request for a proposal promptly and provided us a detailed design with renderings of how it would look. The plan included new shrubs, a palm tree, laying fabric in the beds before mulching and decorative lighting. Ben, Dan and Lorenzo were awesome, arriving first thing in the morning and working tirelessly all day. Their workmanship was great and they all were very easy to work with. I highly recommend using this company if you are in the need for landscaping services.

Ben Smith was very responsive and helpful in scoping the work, which was completed on a timely basis and as quoted. Workmanship was excellent and everyone on the team was friendly and professional.

Our Landscaping project is extensive, and identifying landscape contractors that could do the job has been one of the more difficult tasks I can remember. I ve received a number of crazy estimates that had no relation to the size of the task and suffered through contractors that either never showed up or completely screwed up the job. Ben and his team changed all of that. He completed the fine grading on my property, successfully transplanted 16 VERY large plants, installed a 14-zone irrigation system as well as the cabling for low voltage lighting. ALL of this work took just over two weeks, including waiting on another vendor to fix what he had done and some rain days. The work was flawless, and Ben is completely flexible when something needed to be changed (my requirements). He worked with my wife and myself to deliver exactly what we wanted. Any changes that impacted the cost were priced and approved before he made them. Ben and his entire team are completely professional, open, honest and direct. His pricing is excellent. The next step in our project is to add a fence, which Ben does not do. Once that is complete, we re bringing Ben back in to complete the landscaping to include installing plants and trees. Lowcountry Greenscapes, LLC 5.0 Stars 01-31-18 Project: Service a Lawn and Garden Sprinkler System Low Country Greenscapes helped me troubleshoot a malfunctioning irrigation system. One Zone in the 25 year old system was not working and there was a leak in the pipeline at the other end of the system. Meanwhile, one area of the yard had no sprinklers at all and we needed to provide them for this dry zone. My professional quickly analyzed the problems, finding our controller unit had been damaged during a hurricane last summer. He replaced the controller module with a new one and solved the dead zone issue. He creatively addressed the leak and dry zone by re-arranging the line so that three sprinklers now cover two areas of the yard. My total cost for the project was 1/2 the estimate given by another highly recommended service! We received prompt, effective and very professional service. Ben repaired my leaking/broken pipes for my sprinkler system. He explained how he charges first so there were no surprises. When he was finished, he double checked that there were no more leaks. He checked all of the other sprinkler zones to make sure that was the only leak. He also adjusted one of my sprinkler heads because it was going under the driveway even though it wasnt on the initial request. It was a pleasure working with him, and I definitely recommend Lowcountry Greenscapes!

Monday-Tuesday they laid drains and sodded my back yard, and on Saturday Ben filled a large dumpster with a couple of cut-up trees and a whole mess of branches and brush. Working with Lowcountry Greenscapes has possibly been the most rewarding project we have ever taken on. We interviewed four landscape companies and owner Ben Smith was by far the most professional. He listened carefully to our preferences (including deer resistance), made a proposal right away and with his team completed the work without complaint during some of the hottest days on record. A monster Sago palm presented an enormous challenge but he calmly figured out a Plan B and prevailed. Admirably, Ben also cancelled planned irrigation work upon finding our present system adequate. We have already discussed two more projects and look forward to Bens expertise and good humor in the near future.

Excellent service with reasonable price. Contacted Ben via website and scheduled appointment at our home to discuss our landscaping needs, which included adding irrigation, trimming existing landscaping and fertilizing lawn. He emailed us a proposal within about 1 week. We then met Ben at a nursery to review the plants and shrubs that he had included in the proposal. Within 1 week of accepting the proposal, he was able to install and complete the projects at our home. Not only was the price very reasonable, compared a other quotes that we received, Ben is very knowledgeable, flexible and respectful person. Absolutely outstanding in every way! Came when they said they would. We had a terrible time - areas with no water, leaks, 9 zones, over nearly an acre! These guys found every problem, found answers to issues we have dealt with for years. Worked so hard, never complained, and always polite and helpful! The final bill was unbelievably reasonable.
