Engaged w/ Woody to landscape our entire front yard in summer 2023 at significant cost... very pleased the professionalism and results. Within 6 months, two (of three) Arborvitae died, the third thrives (yet all three planted within a few feet of one another) the two dead Woody replaced Spring 2024 at n/c... those same two Arborvitae died less than 45 days. Woody kindly offered replacement 25% less yet no guarantee. We passed spending additional $$$$$ for two new trees given no credible reasoning why these plants died twice. Regardless Woody's inflexibility to satisfy a customer, I will admit that he is an experienced resource should you need a landscape design. However, if you can do it yourself or simply need product, you can purchase what McKeown's sells at Home Depot and Lowes... and at significantly more competitive prices. In our case, McKeown's lost a customer.
I would give the team at Bloomin’ more than 5 stars if I could! We had an amazing experience with the whole team. Woody did a full landscape design that basically took what was in my head and drafted it exactly. I didn’t make any changes and it came to life perfectly. Steve and his team worked so hard through the insane heat at the install and it turned out so beautifully! Top qualities from everyone included proactive communication, attention to detail, focus on quality, and easy to work with. Thank you so much to the team for an excellent job well done!
I went into the nursery this weekend to buy plants for an upcoming project. I had gone to another nursery ( where they were very helpful but unfortunately out of half of the plants I needed). Brea helped me locate plants, and offered helpful insights of similar varieties.They were fully stocked with every plant I needed. First time in and I had a great experience! After purchasing, Jordan helped me load all the plants into my truck.
An employee of there’s hit my car as I was driving past the business this week. My complaint to management went on deaf ears. To think an employee would attempt to damage my property in front of her place of employment shows enough about the people who work here! Rude Nasty Disrespectful!! Everyone won’t respond with a written message! Keep your hands and feet to yourself! You people have a lot of nerve!!!
We recently had Bloomin’ install some hard landscape, add some trees and refresh our existing flower beds. The whole experience was amazing, from the initial consultation and design with Woody, to Tristram, Griff and the guys who carried out the work, and we love the outcome. We highly recommend them.
What an excellent place! They had a huge variety of plants, bushes, and trees! The staff was amazing and helped me with every question I had. They also told me things I never would have thought to ask. The prices were very reasonable. They are now the only plant nursery I'll go to and I'd recommend them to anyone!
Disclaimer- I am a total amateur gardener. I absolutely love this place! Their stock is very healthy looking, and man do they have a lot! My needs are pretty specific in that I need kill proof plants and flowers that aren't toxic to pets, which is harder to find than you would think. They had plants that I was unable to find at my local chain garden centers (i.e. Home Depot, Meijer's, etc.), such as Bee Balm. The staff is incredibly personable, knowledgeable and helpful! They don't stalk you but are readily available should you need them. I can't imagine a reason to go anywhere else now! BONUS: There are 3 SUPER sweet kitties on site to assist with your gardening needs!
Large home garden center with perennials, annuals, shrubs, and trees. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. A little more costly than Lowe's, Meijer and the like (save these types of stores for garden decorations which you won't find here) but worth it for the help, service, and informative labels.

I used to listen to Dennys radio show every weekend. Absolutely loved it and learned a lot. The Garden Center is the best. Im so sorry that I just learned of Dennys transition since I was planning a visit to the center this weekend and Googled the center.
Today was my first visit. Beutiful little place. Unfortunately the staff were not very helpful. I called and asked if they had a specific plant. The woman on the phone was pleasant and said I will check. She came back and said, we have plenty of them, they are in 1 gallon containers and are $19.99. I drove 45 minutes to get there. When I arrived I could not find them so I asked a couple workers where they might be. It definitely felt like I was putting them out. Ultimately I was told they must not have them. I left not knowing if the helpful woman onnthe phone was wrong or the others that didnt want to help.
Fair prices and the staff are super friendly carrying out plants for people. They are also knowledgeable about the plants they sell. They started carrying baby vegetables this month. Get them while they last.
This is my second year of using their DIY Lawn Care program and my lawn has never looked better. Glad I stop using an expensive lawn service. The staff is always very helpful and cheerful.
Much to expensive
First-time customer. What a great garden center! I called looking for a Honey Locust tree, and was so pleased to be helped by Tom. He was so kind and professional and really knew trees. . While all the H.L.s had been sold, he told me he could get one in 1 to 2 weeks. Only took a week or so, and Anna immediately called to let me know. Holly & Meggy carefully wrapped my 12+ tree in burlap and we fit it in my Scion hatchback (sticking out front window) and its now in my yard, unfurled and completely undamaged. Very healthy well-formed tree. Ill never buy a tree anywhere else. I didnt have time to look at any other plants here, yet, but I cant wait to come back and explore. Highly recommend this place. Theres a lot of plant-love goin on here!

I love this place because the team is so friendly! Im from Florida and many of the plants here cannot grow in FL, but with a little research, I was able to make a lot of the plants work! Such an awesome place.

I have been buying plants here for years. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable, and they have a huge variety of plants. I even buy tomato plants and herbs here. I showed them photos of the front mulch beds at my house, and they were able to help me pick out plants and plan where to plant them. It has all grown in now and looks so good - like it was professionally done. I need to get back and have them help me with some other areas that need help. Highly recommend!
If you want to be treated well as a customer - dont expect it here. I have for years bought beautiful plants and trees here and was pleased. However, recently I learned just how badly this staff treats a customer! The store had sold the customers already paid for tree to someone else - mistakes happen and how you handle them makes all the difference. All they needed to do was apologize, take accountability for their mistake, and try to make it right. WELL - the manager, and owner instead of apologizing and trying to help with a solution, verbally jumped on this customer with such unprofessional remarks and frankly were downright RUDE! I am still appalled to think of it! I am so shocked by the behavior of the staff that I am choosing to take my business to one of the other garden centers in town that know how to treat their customers with respect and simple courtesy! Being rude to the customer for the business mistake crosses a fundamental line. I wont be back and will let others know how poorly they act!

Nice place, great location. I was slightly concerned about higher prices due to their location but they are very reasonable and offered a discount on a fertilizer tosser that we were going to buy to help toss lawn seeds, even though we didnt qualify for the discount and were going to buy it anyways.
So glad this place is still here. I can remember coming here when I was a child. They have a great selection and good prices
The plants and the people are nice. The prices are down right offensive. 3x the prices of pipkins, natorps, rahns, holscher hackman, etc. And for the record the people and plants are nice at those places too!! Go anywhere else and you will find a better price! I promise!

Denny McKeowns is THE BEST landscaping company out there. We have used them countless times for landscape projects (new plants, rocks, yard drainage, design, etc) and we are finally on their maintenance program (though I believe there is a wait list for that) where they come and tend to you beds periodically. I would never use anyone else for landscaping needs, they are just that good. They are an incredibly trustworthy, thorough, and quality company and they do the job beautifully! I have always worked with Woody for the design process and hes beyond amazing!! Woody truly knows his stuff, hes the real deal and I feel honored to be able to work with him for our landscaping needs. All in, landscaping is an investment for your home- if you are able, dont skimp on it...go with these guys!

Their plants were very nice, Name brand, but the cost is higher too. Id probably come back here for something I was really wanting, but I was just browsing at this time. I did buy a favorite annual of mine, Fireworks Gumphrenia.

This is a top-ranked nursery in this part of the State. The staff is very helpful and professional. It has a wide array of quality products to choose from.
For the last 5 years we have used them for all our landscaping needs. We buy all trees, bushes, flowers, plants, vegetable plants, and landscaping chemicals. They are the best.
Greg did a great job designing our landscape plans, providing pictures and walking us through the garden center where we finalized the plans. His recommendations were spot on! His team showed up on site and did a great job of planting the shrubbery and cleaning up when finished. They provided great instructions on how to care for the plants. We have received numerous compliments on the newly designed landscape. We are extremely happy with Gregs design and the installation of the plants. We highly recommend the Bloomin Garden Center for all your landscape needs.

Very pleased with the level of service I received by their salespeople regarding the bushes I needed for my landscaping. The nursery is well stocked even at this time which is late summer. Their products are better than what you can get at the big box store and they are more expensive. I like that I can call them and speak to someone right away who is knowledgeable about their products and services. They provide a one year replacement warranty on the bushes that I have bought from them. I am at the point in my life where being treated as a desired customer by knowledgeable service staff and good products is worth paying the premium

Good variety, nice bathroom. There was also a giant spider, but the black kitty cat they had there more than made up for that. A+.

Really friendly and helpful service- nice selection in a range of prices. The tree I bought came with a 1 year warranty and if it doesnt survive you dont have to bring it back- just take a picture and email it to them. Id go back there again next planting season.
Went there Mothers Day expecting to pay a premium price for some hydrangeas(sic). Pleasantly paid half-price (only $19.95) and they took one of them to my truck as my hands were full with the other one and my 4 year-old daughter.
