We are so happy with our landscaping done by Viens! Sam and Steve were very responsive with communication, and the work was done quickly and efficiently. Sam was in touch with us throughout the project, making sure everything was being done as we wanted it to be. Their crew was friendly and hardworking, and they delivered beautiful results with planting trees and shrubs, putting in new edging and rock beds, trimming and hauling away brush, and building rock and wood gardens. They were respectful of our space (closed gates, cleaned up after themselves, planted grass in the muddy areas) We definitely recommend their services!

If I could give Viens Lawn Care ten stars, I would. They transformed my backyard from an overgrown mess to a beautiful oasis. Steve and Sam worked with me to create the perfect outdoor space for entertaining by installing updated landscaping and a new paver patio. Their crew is professional and courteous. I have been working with Viens for 20+ years and highly recommend them.

We were interested in a large new patio with a gazebo for our back yard. Viens gave us some great ideas for the design of the patio, for landscaping along the house and for a front yard garden. They were very polite, professional and had many ideas of which we incorporated most of them. We actually went on vacation just after the patio was started and came back to a beautiful new patio and landscaping. Viens also has mowed our yard for years. They are always reliable, quick to return calls and are very professional! Yard looks great. We would highly recommend them for your patio, landscaping and lawn care needs.

They did not call back

Viens just completed installing a new front patio and steps for us, as well as a water remediation project in the backyard. Both jobs were completed on time and on budget. We couldnt be happier with how the new patio and steps look. Viens foreman, Sam Casalenda did a great job from beginning to end. Thank you!

Viens reconstructed our staircase, retaining wall and patio, and planted hostas which still look great a few years later. With labor and materials cost always rising, landscaping work nowadays is always more expensive than you d hope, but we were very satisfied with the quality of the work for a fair price.

Sam and Steve were amazing to work with! They came out and did a walk through, provided a competitive price, always communicated with us on the schedule and were honest and fair. Our front and back patios are spectacular and we are so happy and excited to spend time outside at our house. Thank you so much! Definitely would recommend to use them for your landscaping needs.

I can t give enough positive feedback regarding my landscaping project with Steve, Sam and crew. Family owned and operated, Steve Viens and son-in-law Sam Casalenda were hands-on leading a wonderful team of hard working folks who transformed my outdoor space. Adding a lighted wall next to an existing curvy stamped concrete patio, refreshing grading, replacing landscape rock, pavers, plants, plus, plus, plus. Total joy.

Friendly atmosphere and good price for the work they do

They dont give estimates when promiced and when called back they are to busy to at least return a call letting you know they are not going to provide their service.

Over the past couple of decades, our lawn showed its age, with shaded bare spots and protruding tree roots. Steve Viens & his landscaping crew were up to the task of renovating our yard: They shaved the old lawn; Applied black dirt over the entire area, including a graded buildup over the tree roots; Meticulously laid the new sod. We like perfectionists. Our property looks brand new. Give the crew a bonus!

We have used veins lawn service for the past few years and we have been totally pleased with their work. They are professional. They never miss a week of service and my lawn always look great. I must admit that my husband was initially against it saying that he would keep doing it himself but when he saw what a great job they did and with the addition of the fall and spring cleanup, he was all in. This gives us time back to do the things we want to do. This past year was very hard on my shrubs and several of them died. I also had some other landscaping issues that I wasnt sure what to do. Things looked pretty bad so I called Steve Veins. He came out immediately and consulted with me. Steve made expert recommendations on what to plant and the layout. We came up with a landscaping plan that they implemented shortly thereafter. I couldn t be happier. I would recommend this company for lawn care and landscaping to anyone!

I had several people come out to give my a price on doing some finishing work around a new concrete pad in my backyard and Steve was the best priced, most helpful with ideas, and communicated the best. He genuinely felt interested in doing the work. His crew put in drain tile, edging, rock, and sod down in 4 or 5 hours when it would have taken me a couple weekends. The project turned out excellent. Would definitely use them again.

I simply cant imagine anyone else doing our landscaping. What a great group of guys who genuinely had our wants and needs in mind. The owner Steve Viens was very hands on. Steve was there every single day working along side his workers overseeing the job from start to finish making sure we were one hundred percent satisfied. Steve would give his expert advice but was not pushy making sure our vision was realized. If I ever called and got his voicemail I was promptly called back. Steve always answered my calls and was willing to discuss my job. More importantly they were always there as scheduled and on time. The job was finished as promised. His team was very kind and professional. Very approachable and respectful of our home. Id also like to add they were gentle and kind to our dogs. We have a lot more landscaping that has to be done as we have a large yard. I cant think of any other company to do the work. Ill be referring Viens Lawn and Landscaping to anyone who asks. Thanks for making our house the envy of the neighborhood.Money well spent.

Steve and his team do an outstanding job. They helped us with a larger landscaping job at our home in Bloomington this summer. And my wife and I are so pleased with the end result. Steve and team were extremely professional, courtesy, and very fairly priced. I could tell upon first meeting Steve: he is honest, he and his staff care about you as the client, and they provide outstanding service. They also have a great sense of design and made some great recommendations of what would work best for our home and overall curb appeal. Horrible Snow Removal Service. When we contracted with them early last fall, the Owner made promises for snow removal times, that were never kept. Had to call and re-call and re-call to get anything done. We ended up plowing out our own driveway and sidewalk 90% of the times that it snowed this past year as they either never showed up-or we had to get out -and they had not arrived at the promised scheduled time. When you call, all you get is excuses. Today 4-19-13, with the whole state having a 3-5 day warning about the incoming snow storm-their excuse was that they had put all of the equipment away and were scrambling to get it back out so that they could try to get to people today. THEN they said there would be a $30.00 surcharge for todays snow removal, even though we had paid them the flat rate for the whole season. he owner is very obnoxious, sarcastic and rude when you call in. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!
