Mother Nature Landscaping in Bloomington

Always enjoy strolling through Mother Nature’s gardens. This place is beautiful! We have also had great luck with all items purchased here, trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals. The staff is always very helpful, and Seth has done amazing work on our property over the years!

I don't live in Bloomington but I visit often. Mother Nature has the best selection of home/yard gifts that are always appreciated by those I visit.

Extremely happy with my back patio landscaping steps and design. The Mother Nature Landscape team spent time with me to understand my vision, gather measurements, and propose designs. Once we had a plan, they quickly scheduled the project. They completed the job in a few days, cleaned up the site and delivered on exactly what was planned and to budget. I recommend them to everyone and they will be who I call for my next project. Thank you for the great service and pride you take in your work!

Purchased two trees. Delivered within one week. The crew were terrific. One spruce was planted with "tender loving care" seriously. He told us how to care for it, what to expect, and how beautiful it would be. The other tree, a maple, required removal of a small neighboring tree. Cut at the trunk they removed every branch and limb. Not a trace on our lawn. They were very careful of our existing plantings around the tree. Told us how to care for both trees and mentioned the three month guarantee. Will definitely be back for future additions to our yard. P.S. One of the workers remembered planting a river birch in our yard several years ago. It's thriving.

Shawn and his crew did a beautiful fire-circle for my home, as well as multiple installs on our projects around town. They have been on-time, on budget, and have executed flawlessly every time. Grateful to be able to get them on our job-sites!

Horrible customer service. We had in writing (email) what we wanted from Mother Nature Landscaping. Shawn gave us a quote of X. We had our grass scheduled for a certain day of the week because we have dogs that need to be kenneled when people enter our yard. We stated all this information, but was not relayed to the lawn crew. I finally had to stop the lawn crew and speak to them directly that they needed to let me know when then were coming so that our dogs were not hurt or got out, or they weren't hurt by our dogs. The lawn crew then communicated via text to let me know when they were coming. Problem is defiantly with the ownership (Shwan) especially. Remember our in writing contract....well he proceeds to charge for extra cuts here for $25 and $35, this is when his crew is already at our home cutting. Makes sense to charge extra when you are already at a location right? The last incident was when Mother Nature once again changed the date for cutting. We were gone had a pet sitter watching our home and Mother Nature decided to once again come and cut on a day that we obviously were not ready for them. Told them that they couldn't come to mow, the crew said OK and would try to work it into the schedule. I called Monday to Mother Nature to find out when they might be coming, and told them that they changed the schedule, and we were gone and had an arrangement with our pet sitter for our dogs to be inside. Shawn told me that they didn't change the schedule, that it wasn't a definite schedule anyways (mind you they came on Friday's most of the time other then rain days) but who am I other then the customer that pays their bill...right? I was told by Shawn that they have hundreds of accounts and that they didn't need my business. He stated that all of their accounts were weekly (which I doubt) and mine was the only bi weekly account (which again I doubt). This has been a continuous problem. I have sent written notifications to Mother Nature, other then the first bill, they don't acknowledge any wrong doing. I had them also work on a fire pit in my yard, they did do a good job, but wouldn't hire them again. Unfortunate for Mother Nature, because we have a lot of work we are planing for our yard and they won't be getting the contract for that work.

By far the best service business in Bloomington. They do what they say they are going to do and the finished job is always excellent! I have used Mother Nature for 3 large projects and I have been completely satisfied each time. I have a new project coming up and I plan to use them for the fourth time. Highly recommended company!
