Horrible service, rude owner, threatened to lien house when invoice date was not for another month just because I called to complain about quality of the work

Scotts exterior did a great job with dirt removal after a pool installation. They were quick and easy to work with!

Painfully overpriced quote. I feel like theyre taking advantage because there is so little competition. Like that movie Triangle of Sadness. It is unethical to price gouge like that just because they can. Better to not get service at all then to support the greedy. Sad. Thats my opinion. I would have let it alone but then they sent spam emails asking for reviews. Even if you contact them for info theyll add you to their spam list. Id stay away in my opinion.

Had them for snow removal last year and was very happy with them. My driveway and sidewalk were cleared then morning of the snow fall.

Great service! My yard looks better than it has in years.

This is our 2nd year using them for spraying our yard for bugs. They come when they say they will, do the job promised, and bill me when done. They make it easy to do business with them! Update - we used them for 3 years and decided this year we would use someone else. Last summer we had to constantly call back to inquire when our property was going to be done. On multiple occasions we were given a day and no one showed up, called or followed up with us as to the reason or when they would reschedule for. They just didnt show. I had a couple calls that even went unreturned last summer. The last two times they came their usual machine was broken and they were just using a sprayer similar to what Orkin uses to spray homes or they type youd buy at Lowes to kill weeds. It was a single stream spray which seemed to do no good. The results were not what we had previously or what we expected. Not sure what changed on their end but we had to make a change on our end. I will say though, Ive heard their actual lawn care services are good.

So happy I found this team! Very helpful, courteous and thorough in their work. A straight forward bid and estimate with no unexpected charges or delays. I will use them again!

It was all going well. They gave me an estimate for replacing a set of patio steps. They gave me a reasonable estimate and a time line. But the timeline kept getting pushed back when I would call and ask about the timeline. The calendar kept moving and they couldn t promise to get to the project completed in 2023. So I went elsewhere and will have it completed in the spring of 2024.

We highly recommend Scott s Exterior Maintenance! After multiple estimates and meetings with other companies we were very impressed with Nathan. He not only worked within our budget but also gave us some wonderful and cost effective ideas! Thinking we would only be getting a second story deck, yet being able to also get a beautiful patio below! The workers were professional, diligent, worked in a timely manner and cleaned up after themselves. Nathan did not sacrifice quality for additional profit. After completing multiple projects on our home lately, this was by far the least stressful! We will definitely be calling Nathan for more projects we are planning!

Scotts did a great job on our front yard, pulling out 30 year old bushes, building new flagstone borders and dealing with two 30 year old trees with roots and bases several inches above the ground and made it look great! Would recommend.

Scotts did a great job installing a rock pad for our back yard shed, and we appreciate them accommodating our change in pad size after wed already signed off on a smaller size. They estimated when it would be installed, and the estimate was spot-on.

Scotts Exterior Maintenance did my Spring sod project for me. They were wonderful from the start to finish! They came right out and gave me an estimate that was extremely fair and hundreds less then the local competition! They were able to get out before the big rain hit which assisted me greatly with natures watering can, AND they timed the excavation of the old grass within a day of laying the new! I would highly recommend them!!

They came in and added 3 tons of dirt and graded it away from the house and seeded the graded area. I haven t had any water issues since and it s been over a year now with no hint of problems. I would recommend them to anyone. Great job!

Snow removal has been efficient, effective, and the option for salting walks has been a huge help this past winter. Scott and his team are careful, professional, and extremely responsive if you have a communication challenge, even in the middle of a weeks worth of bad weather.

They did an excellent job of trimming all my trees, cleaning up, and taking away the limbs and any mess. It was so much better than I expected.

We hired Scotts Exterior Maintenance to replace some floor joists of our deck. They came to do the work and found that our deck substructure was rotted out. This was an unforeseen issue that popped up on the work day that couldnt have been seen at the time of the estimate. As a result, they were very upfront and honest about the situation. They informed us that it was not cost effective to replace the other several deck floor joists and that it didnt make sense to put the new joists into a rotten existing structure. As a result, they were able to only replace 1 of the floor joists because they had ripped the old one out already so there was no support on that section. They charged us the cost of materials for just that single floor joist and the labor to replace that. By being upfront and honest with us, they ended up saving us more than $1000 for that project. They could have just done the work and ran off with our money, but they didnt and thats highly respectable, especially nowadays. Before leaving, they even took the time to give us an estimate for building a new deck so when the time comes to replace the deck, we are prepared. Thank you for being upfront and honest.

Contacted Scotts over three years ago, wanted to keep my business locally. Scott was out within a day to review the property and provide estimates for removal of mature overgrown bushes and shrubbery. And the design of a stone retaining area for a hosta garden. We have been very pleased with the work that was done. We have continued to retain their services for all of our lawn care, fall and spring cleanup and snow removal. When ever there was an issue with the work preformed, a call or text to Nate or Scott, the issue was resolved quickly. I have also called or texted when the mowing crew or mulching crew has done a job that exceeded my expectations.

Scotts Exterior Maintenance has done a very good job managing my lawn care this year. My lawn has never looked so good.

We have several large mulch beds/islands on our property; just had a spring leaf/lawn cleanup and mulch refurbishment of those beds. The crew did a great job with the cleanup and did take away all debris including the many ornamental grasses that were cut back. The new mulch looks fantastic. And when done, a good, final clean-up took place so that I could hardly tell they were here. I am pleased.

Scotts service has always taken care of my requests. I have a backyard that is very unevenly built and I like it shorter in the back and it has never been a problem. I have dogs that are sometimes outside and they will call me to let me know that they are there or coming so I can let the dogs in. We had outstanding service from Scott Exterior Service. I explained to Scott in the early spring that we needed to have our yard in shape to put on the market. His team cleaned up and treated and fertilized our yard. The yard was looking good in no time, so green and lush. When we were two weeks away from putting our house on the market we requested Scott to have his team put down mulch and do some cleanup up of weeds and remove volunteer trees. Needed the yard mowed just as a one time deal twice this summer and they were there that day both times. Did a great job with it also.

Great work on removing two large trees in a difficult location. They expertly took trees down, ground out stumps, removed chips, filled with dirt and planted grass, and all in 3 hours. Price was very competitive, too. When done, except for the newly planted grass, there was almost no indication they had been there. Nice job!

Scott s team were very professional and did a wonderful job. They had to remove stone, and haul it away. Replace stone, and planted grass. Used plywood on the grass so they did not leave tire marks.

Scotts removed four mature trees from my yard - two of them were massive. The crew is very professional, and did the job in one full day plus a half day (fast, for the mass that was remived). The cherry picker is a game changer - better for the customer, because its much faster, and the crew is safer since no one has to climb. Scotts is THE company for tree removal.

Our Condo Association has used Scotts Exterior Maintenance for the last 2 years for lawn care and snow removal and have received excellent service. We appreciate the fact that they only mow the lawn if it needs it and the same for snow removal. In the winter they clean our sidewalks and entrances of snow and ice and provide salt for times when ice accumulates and there is no snow.

We wasted $127 of grass seed because Scott and Co. put down weed and feed instead of a starter, as requested. When I called Scott to question the bill, he started yelling at me and told me I didnt know what I was talking about. He said his receptionist doesnt know her job and just puts down weed and feed regardless of the service. I had to yell louder than him to get a word in and finally hung up on him.
