You should see my new home! The landscaping is gorgeous! Although I wasn’t able to do the entire design up front, I did a majority and it’s stunning. Penn was so easy to work with. So easy that I have the monthly maintenance plan with them as well. I’m excited to implement a bit more of the design in the near future. Thanks Penn for my beautiful yard and retaining wall.

Great selection and super helpfull. Staff answered all questions and were very knowledgeable. Have purchased many plants from Penn nursery, both quality and variety are superb for our area. They have what others don't. Will buy again, and promote them to others.

Will use Mike and his team again - quality job at a reasonable cost! Mike met with me to discuss a garden redesign in the front of our house. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and receptive to all of my ideas and questions. We did provide over 6+ months of time between request and install. We've received TONS of compliments on the finished install.

A Friend lead me to Penn and for the last two years they have provided excellent service and knowledge for me. Tyler is a true professional educating me on the proper needs of my lawn and tree maintenance. When I call to pay my bill or reschedule an appointment Nicki is so nice and professional. I've used Penn Landscaping several times over the past couple of years and I've always been impressed by the overall quality and the professionalism of their team. I had several block and mortar retaining walls done, a few trees and bushes planted, and several areas of lawn regraded and seeded. All projects were completed within the discussed timeframe and on budget, they kept the worksite clean, and the final result is something I'm happy to see every day. I get complements all the time. Gregg and his team are pros!

We hired Penn Landscaping in September 2021 to install sod at our new construction home. At that time we were informed by office staff (Nicki) that there was a good chance the sod would be installed before winter weather months arrived, but it was not a guarantee. We were told on 2 separate occasions that we were "at the top of the list" and on the install schedule (first time to be completed by the end of October and then again by the end of November) but the job was never completed. Even after discovering that the sod farms were no longer cutting sod for the season - we were still being told that Penn was doing their best to get us taken care of before winter hit. By mid December after no communication it was self determined that we would not have the job competed, and we stopped following up. We began following up with them again in Spring 2022 and finally in May 2022 the sod was installed. By August 2022 we had developed a long strip of weeds/crab grass running vertically from our back yard towards the front yard at the property line. Despite hand picking weeds all summer this one area had become so saturated there wasn't any actual grass left, so I called over to their office and spoke to Nicki once again. I asked it was possible to have the few pieces of sod in that one are of the yard replaced. She told me she had spoken to the owner (Rick Penn) and he said we probably only had weeds because of the empty lot/field behind our house and their only offer was to come out and quote us for yard maintenance/weed treatment program. I told her I didn't believe that to be true based on the location of the weed growth in our yard as well as the fact that the field/lot behind us is well maintained by the land owners. I told them I believed they were using the empty lot excuse as an easy way to not assume responsibility and that I would seek other means to handle the few pieces of sod that need replaced. I will not do business with them again.

When we intially had work done we were very pleased. They did miss doing landscape work around a tree. We had a major issues with thistle. They had promised to come by and do some matienance spraying to combat the thistle issue. Well they didn't come back in a timely manner and our yard was completely overtaken. After months of contacting Penn they came back and literally had to redo our backyard mulch to fix the issue. We were happy with the result in them fixing the issue. They have a guarantee on replacing plants and trees that die within a year. We had two bushes in our front yard that ended up dying after the first month. They agreed to replace the bushes. Well here we are over a year later and that haven't replaced the dead plants. Keep being told the plants are out of stock, how do you run a business without any plants for a year? Good luck getting follow-up calls and emails taken care of. Not professional and can't recommend. Very very frustrating experience 😡

I have used Penn several times over the past couple years for a few projects (hardscape and landscape). Just as every business has had challenges during this time, I appreciate the work they did during all of this. From talks with family members (family run business) to the office staff, everyone is friendly, professional, and have a true willingness to work with you to meet your specific needs. Any questions I had during each of my projects were answered quickly, and any specific issues I identified were addressed satisfactorily. I would contact them again for any future projects I may have.
