Harrington's Organic Land Care in Bloomfield

Really tried to work with this company, but there was no communication. Missed appointments, calls to the office never returned. Despite speaking to someone who stopped by to do the monthly treatment telling them we really needed a call back as we had an appointment for more in depth services missed, and him ensuring is he'd have someone call us that afternoon, we never got a call. We still have not heard back from the office. We won't be doing any more business with them.

Harrington's gypped me. I looked at the compost material using the microscopy that Elaine Ingham teaches. They wouldn't do an assessment on the material before they sent it even though I offered to pay for that so I could do a comparison... maybe I got a bad batch. Instead they just wanted to refund me. I never opted for a refund. I just happened to see their name again today and it reminded me of that. It still makes me angry.

If it were possible to give less than one star, I would. Did a soil sample at the beginning of the year and enrolled in a six treatment plan. I was told it would be 2 weeks. 2 months later - no word. I called the office manager and miraculously when I called, the results were in. Communication with the office manager was abysmal all year. I attempted to schedule a lawn renovation in the fall - after very little response from the office manager, she promised it would be the next week. What happened over the next 3 weeks? Absolutely nothing. No appointment, no communication - nothing. Everyone beware. Communication from Harrington's and their office manager was absolutely horrible. Please beware of giving this company your business. There are other companies that care about you as a customer more than Harrington's.

Bought organic fertilizer, good price & service for a good product.

Harrington's did a fantastic job on my property. Unlike other lawn services they seem to really care about their work. They also do all of their technical soil analysis in their own lab! - this really shows how they take pride in their work. I actually worked with the owner Todd and not some apathetic kid working before going back to college. Todd was very caring and enthusiastic. He explained all the issues I had on my property and how he planned to remedy those issues. Then he followed through and setup my program as he explained. All in all he and his office workers are top notch, helpful and courteous when calling with questions or need for help. I definately recommend Harrington's

Todd has performed international diagnosis and solutions for exotic insect infestations and disease management. Nationally he has Re engineered agricultural problems organically. Locally he has protected the public and places of the urban forest with turf and tree solutions organically.
