Randy and his employees built a retaining wall for us and did an excellent job, so good that our neighbors hired them to continue the retaining wall a cross their property. I wish I could give this company ten stars because five isn't enough!! I can't say enough great things about this company, its management and its staff. They did a complete landscaping of our front, back, and side yards, which included all of the landscaping, hardscaping, demoing and building a new front deck, adding wraparound stairs to our existing back deck, and coordinating with tree trimmers and our HOA. Not to mention they designed the entire project because we had no idea what we wanted other than we wanted it to look professionally done and better than the weedy mess it started out as. These guys worked their tails off to give us exactly what we wanted. They listened to our input, gave feedback and advice when needed, and did everything they said they'd do, from start to finish. They got the work done when they said they would and brought the project in right on budget. They knew we needed the work done by a certain date, and there were days that the whole crew was here working in the pouring rain knee deep in mud, and they were also here on some really hot days lugging rocks around in wheelbarrows sweating their butts off. In every case they were pleasant, polite, and kept the job site really clean, which we appreciated. This company also does our weekly maintenance and this is our second year with them, I'm grateful we have them to keep our brand new landscaping looking fresh and maintained! If their great work remains on par, we plan to stay with them for many years to come because they sure came through for us. We have some future work to be done and once the budget permits you can bet they'll be the first company we'll call upon.
I have had Randy and co taking care of my landscaping for a couple of years now. They do a very good job, professional and consistent. Are they perfect? No. Mistakes or mis-communications happen occasionally, but they fix it when pointed out, without any arguments. They are easy to work with, and very friendly.

Terrible. They leave the clippings all over everything. Clippings clump and kill grass underneath and now there are tons of dead spots. Clippings in my shoes, in my house, in my car. Clippings tracked near and far. Never trimmed the front trees. Weeds everywhere. Stopped weeding all together after asked to please stop using Round-up. Ask nicely and get zero response. Just more of the same. Tired of this same same game. Changed service. Tired of asking nicely. I can throw my money elsewhere.
- Multiple no-shows/wrong dates re: scheduling -Trampled my neighbors lawn, which caused friction - Let dogs escape and had to chase until feet were bloody - After contacting owner about displeasure in service, owner blame-shifted & showed up at my house red-faced mad (scared my wife to death). Good riddance.
Would have rated less, but it wasnt an option. Misleading and sub par work. After the first service, over a $100.00 btw, they quoted me it would need to be done weekly since it took them a couple hours to cut the grass on a small back and front yard. The cost weekly is $45.00. After I repeatedly insisted that every other week is more realistic, they agreed to that scheduling. The audacity to charge over $180.00 a month for 10 minutes of work per week. Thats right. I timed them. The weedeating person would rush through while the mower was at another house. Time would go by. Then the standup riding mower would rush through the yard on the way to another house. Then after another 10 to 15 minutes of nothing, the blower would come through to cap off the actual 10 minutes of work. This past week, I received an email regarding dog droppings and the crew decided not to service my address. Perfectly understandable. I asked to just be taken off their schedule and I would continue the yard work myself since it was an issue for them. I asked for an invoice for the one actual day they worked on my yard for the month of July and the owner Ronnie charged me an extra 30 dollars for the day they didnt do any work. The reason was a show up fee they were already servicing at least three other houses on my small cul de sac. Remarkably, they believe 66% of the work is just showing up! Way to set yourself apart with disappointing service and treating your customers with disrespect. Thats like cooking the books and then blaming your customers. I hope that hard earned $30 dollars buys something real nice, because you lost a lot more in integrity.
I have used landscape maintenance contractors for some 40 years in various locations. Birch Bay Lawn Care is the worst company ever. Incompetent, ignorant, uncaring group. They did more damage to my landscape than provide services over the last year. It didnt matter that I repeated my instructions, they just went ahead sending ignorant people with lethal tools to my properties. Example, they raked out alyssum beds THREE times. Nobody listens, remembers, or cares. Good riddance!

Very knowledgeable, reliable and affordable. Yes I ve had mistakes made but it was all from miscommunication on my part and they made it right anyway without any further issues on the matter.
Personally I have nothing but great! Things to say about this company. I have a contract with the owner Randy for him to maintain my property once a week. There always on time and give you exactly what you want. Also very good and reasonable prices

They are great and timely my yard hasnt looked this good in years they did a great job making the new flower beds in the front yard and the trimming of the hedges they look a million times better that the over grown mess that they where it s nice to be able to use the other side of the driveway fair prices great work and friendly workers recommen to any one in the area looking for lawn care needs
We paid $303.60 to have our hedge and trees pruned and trimmed. At the initial visit he trimmed one bush and told us it wasn t the right time to trim back the others, but that he would be back in September. After several calls and emails, the reply I got was that he wants money up front. 303.60 to trim one bush? I was cheated.
Agree with previous reviewer about ?reliability. The left hand doesnt know what the right is doing. Forget about the advertised free one- day estimates. Suspect the weed they are whacking may not be dandelions. Recommend trying someone else.
I cant speak for Randys quality of work, but I can speak for his reliability. We set up a time frame for him to do some work at my place and he never showed up. I called 3 different times inside of a 2 week period and left a message each time and he never even bothered to call me back. A simple call back saying that he changed his mind on doing the job, or that he is too busy to do the job, or that he just plain forgot would have been nice. Never an apology or anything remotely close. Not a good way to do business.
