Poor communication; plant placement was odd/not thoughtful; during installation they pushed my AC unit off its pad

our experience with this company is that it was a total waste of time and money. after years of treatments and thousands of dollars our yard looks worse than when they started. either they dont know what they are doing or they dont care. if you value ineptitude and apathy then this company is for you.

We were on the fence about downsizing and moving but our property was in need for some curb appeal including our whole front needing mulch and new sod. Our front yard looks like a golf course now. Totally professional and meticulous with attention to detail.

B to N is a family run business and I feel like I was treated like a part of the family. The landscaping looks great and they continue to work with me and communicate our next steps. I highly recommend them and will use them for future projects, again and again!

Professional crew installed large rock slab stairway up a steep hill. The staff was friendly, worked efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. Very happy with the final result! Would recommend highly to others. I retained BTN for a second job of installing a fence with gates at the top of the stone steps and both side yard for my dogs on my hilly landscape. Though they don t typically install fences, they accommodated me because of my newly identified health problem. They got the job done in a timely manner. As always I appreciated the professionalism friendliness of the staff as well as their patience working with my neighbors to resolve any problems. My dogs love it and are zooming through the yard. And I am truly grateful. Thanks again!

Back To Nature Landscaping & Construction companys team members mowed and mulched my yard during the past two days (April 7 and 8, 2024). They did an excellent job. I am convinced that publicly acknowledging exemplary job performance will contribute to the betterment of our society.

We love Back to Nature. Everyone there will s friendly, polite, professional and knowledgeable. We moved into our home in June 2022 and our realtor recommended them to us! All plantings were very overgrown and they worked with us to make a plan using the right plants in the right places and within a few month everything looked great! The guys that come here to work always work hard and are very nice and listen to what we would like them to do. It s been a great experience and we will continue to use them to or our ongoing needs. Very highly recommend!!

I typically refrain from posting negative reviews for small businesses, recognizing the immense effort required to establish and sustain them. However, my experience with BTN compels me to share my thoughts. Initially, they provided a landscaping plan that an independent, highly skilled contractor later identified as flawed. Something about erroneously identifying the drain that did not exist( it s been a while, I need to go look up documentation exchanged to be precise). I promptly notified BTN, giving them a four-month notice before the scheduled project start, and requested to cancel the project based on this advice. The office manager, who was quite amiable during her visit, assured me that since materials had not yet been purchased, issuing a refund for my deposit would not pose an issue. Unfortunately, the business owner failed to acknowledge the situation s entirety and chose to retain my deposit. This decision, in my view, was not only unreasonable but also excessive.

They did an outstanding job with an addition to our deck and natural stone steps. We will likely work with them again on future projects.

We really cant say enough about Back to Nature. We called them to redo our small backyard area. They installed a beautiful patio and fence that far exceeded our expectations. Every single person we dealt with along the way was so friendly and made us feel like our project was the most important. Super hardworking and so professional. Lucky to have them in our area!

We worked with Back to Nature to install a flag stone patio. They were very professional and great to work with, showing up on time and doing what they said they would do from quote through completion of the job. The final was result was exactly what I wanted if not better.

Four different BTN employees provided landscape design, purchase of plants and other materials to plant and edge five different beds. They also designed and installed a yard screen in front of stone slabs as a trash can pad.

BTN has been providing lawn service for us for 4 years and are fantastic. Full service lawn care and the lawn has never looked better. Also designed and installed a stone hardscape running stream/waterfalls and fire pit. All beautifully done. And our supervisor JC is remarkable. Performs all our lawn services exactly the way we like and is always communicating to ensure we are satisfied. Job well done !!

Excellent service! While our job was not large, they completed promptly in 2 days, and thoroughly cleaned up the site when they finished. Will certainly use them again if we have another project.

Ive used Back To Nature for lawn mowing and keeping my shrubs looking good for about 4 years now. The crew is professional and courteous, and they do a good job. I have a very hilly yard, so its not the easiest job.

Work is detailed and they clean-up after themselves.

Last year we had hardscape installed by BtN. They did a great job on design and installation. We decided to get lawn service this year. The did a great job. The place looks great and they were always easy to work with. We are getting more hardscape installed in the spring, and we will be using the lawn care in 2022.

Back to Nature Landscaping has done a wonderful job for us! I really appreciated their flexibility and willingness to work with our schedule for mowing services (2-4 acre property).

Great experience once again working with Chance, Jessie, and James to complete our second hardscape project. They did the first, and a landscape project at our home last summer. The pride they take in their work shows each time. End result met our expectations. Prices are reasonable. Work began on schedule, and they stayed with it until complete (no hopping between jobs like we have experienced in the past with other companies). Will use Back to Nature Landscaping for our future outdoor projects.

I cant say enough about their quality of service and value. I had them build a 425 sq foot patio, and they were done in about a week worth of work. The patio looks better than I ever expected. Kyle clearly is an expert in his craft and ensures quality. After the patio was mostly done he ended up re-doing a section because it wasnt up to the standards that he wanted to deliver. They put everything back together professionally and my lawn looks amazing.

We started using B2N a couple of years ago for all of our personal landscaping needs, except for mowing (only because I still enjoy mowing). We have been very pleased with the quality of their work and with their expertise. The folks that do the work are great. Always courteous and friendly. B2N communication is also very good, with emails ahead of time alerting folks to their plans, and quick follow-up if there are any issues.

Back To Nature is a great group! We just had them install pavers at our house and they did their usual fantastic job. Everyone that has come to our house has been friendly and super-competent. We have had them for lawn treatment, plant installation and now the pavers. Always very satisfied. UPDATE: October 2018 - BTN just completed a complete re-screening of our back porch as well as redoing the posts on our front porch rails. Once again BTN did an absolutely outstanding job! Our porch looks new! Their choice of a heavier trim really makes the porch pop. Super pleased with both their work and all the people we have had working at our house and yard. And we are in the planning stages for another project. You will not be disappointed in the work BTN does. Highest recommendation! UPDATE: July 2020 - Just over a year after our latest project from BTN. A complete re-working of a large flower bed in our backyard. BTN removed all the old plantings, amended the soil, put down new fabric, new plants, beautiful rocks, and edged it all with a great hardscape. The garden has really come into its own! Beautiful flowers and flowering shrubs. As always, super happy with all the work from BTN! Their turf-care is also keeping our yard looking fabulous!

James & his crew were awesome - turned our dirt hill into a fabulous outdoor space! What I particularly appreciated was the quote, which seems weird but stay with me. Usually when obtaining a quote, you have to have a ridiculous back & forth with the contractor about how you might reduce costs. James provided that up front. After going through everything, he said Now, if you want to save $x,ooo we can do this instead of that. If you want to save $x,ooo you can use this building material instead of that. I was impressed by his integrity. BTN also helps us with regular pruning/mulching, and I never feel taken advantage of. Quality work from nice and honest people. They have my highest recommendation!

Back to Nature cleared out a section of our yard that was overgrown with invasive plants. They then mulched, planted new trees and plants, and built a fire pit area. Our yard looks so much better! They also installed a French drain to keep our garage from flooding.

Updated: There was confusion at the start and my temper was short after a frustrating year with our previous expensive landscaping service. But in the first month of taking over our property from Valley they have been awesome! Garrett communicates on a regular basis to inform you of services and recommendations. They take the time to review and check the property. This is proper management. They are proactive instead of reactive. This is what you want in a landscaper. I look forward to working with them for the foreseeable future and I will give a full review after some projects are completed and a routine is established.

We have been pleased with the ease of using Back to Nature. They mow our lawn as needed, do weed control according to our guidelines, and provide leaf removal. When weve needed an extra service like a tree trim or removal, theyve been very responsive.

We have had multiple projects done by Back to Nature - building our patio and fenced area, sodding our yard after construction, applying fertilizers and compost to the yard, etc. They have been very easy to work with and they know their business well. They likewise provide services to our neighborhood (Village at Toms Creek) and do fine work to keep the neighborhood looking great.

Though I only used them for routine mowing and maintenance this year, I received higher quality work for less money than Ive experienced with other outfits. Not only will I be back, Ill likely expand my maintenance contract and would recommend them highly to anyone that asked.

B2N did a good job this season of maintaining our lawn. With their treatments they performed, my lawn looks so much better compared to what I could do on my own.

We had a major overhaul of our landscaping and everyone we worked with from the beginning to the end was professional, courteous and worked to make sure we got a landscape that was just what we had envisioned.

The clean up crew did a thorough job of cleaning leaves out of the shrubbery, trimming shrubbery, and mulching all designated areas. The mowing crew also did a good job of mowing, trimming and cleaning up with backpack blowers.

Riley of Back to Nature saw me stranded in a dangerous place this past week as the snowstorm hit, and although not a client, stopped and pulled my car to a safe place. He then drove my toddler son and me to safety. Back to Nature Landscaping is our go-to company for lawn care, tree pruning and all outdoor design work we need done. I first called them last year for an estimate to redo our outdoor patio area. Mind you Id a clear-cut idea of exactly what I wanted. After speaking with James, he showed me why my ideas could work and why changing this, this & this the project would a)cost me less, b) look better and c) be more functional. Needless to say we took his advice and a year later were still loving our outdoor space. Definitely recommend!

The Back to Nature team has done two projects for us -- they cleaned out some beds and mulched a fairly large area, and then a few weeks later Riley and his team pruned some flowering trees that we had ignored for years and planted 16 Red Twig Dogwoods around the property. On both occasions they met us when they said they would, gave us reliable estimates in advance, did the work beautifully and checked back to see how things were going. Back To Nature constructed a gorgeous flagstone patio for my wife and I earlier this spring. Back to Nature Landscaping and Wildlife did a wonderful job fixing some long-neglected problems on my new (old) house. I initially called them to help me solve a problem of water in my basement every time it rains. They fixed that problem by installing some French drains and then sealing some concrete steps. They also ended up replacing a beam that had been slowly turning to mulch over the past 40 years. That project was more involved, but they knew exactly what to do and how to fix it right. I have been very impressed with their professionalism and work ethic. They are extremely responsive, arrive when they say they will, and call frequently with updates. They stay until the job is done, and they follow up to see how things are working out after its over. I am very glad I found this company, and I cant imagine calling anyone else do the jobs they do. It is a pleasure to do business with a company that invests so much in customer service and quality work, and their rates are excellent for the services (and peace of mind) they provide.

Ive been working with the Back to Nature team for a couple of years and continue to be delighted with their service.
